00:00Ole Miss, Georgia, SEC action, 330 kickoff.
00:04Joe, this look-ahead line was a minus 10.5 point spread for Georgia.
00:06We're now down under a touchdown at some outlets.
00:09Most outlets, let's just call it a perfect seven at this point.
00:11A total, Joe, 54.5 now increasing to 57.5.
00:15Ole Miss, Georgia between the hedges.
00:17Gotta love this one.
00:17Yeah, it really is.
00:18And they got the victory last year in Oxford.
00:21Let's not forget, they beat up Georgia in the trenches.
00:23That was one of the better rush defenses in all of college football last year,
00:27led by Walter Nolan.
00:28They contained Carson Beck.
00:30He didn't throw a touchdown pass.
00:32The rushing attack in a rain-soaked game couldn't get going,
00:35and Ole Miss dominated with Jackson Dart.
00:37Now it's a true road environment for Trinidad Chambliss.
00:40How does that affect this team?
00:42Last week, they struggled with Washington State, 31.5 point favorite.
00:46They win it 24 to 21.
00:48We know that Georgia last time struggled with Alabama in a big matchup.
00:52Seven and a half for most of the week after the nine and a half's ten on Sunday.
00:56Now it's under that key number.
00:57The matchup, Donnie, is going to be, can Ole Miss shut down the Georgia rushing attack?
01:02Georgia averaging 185 rushing yards per game.
01:05Ole Miss giving up 156 on the ground.
01:08They did it against LSU and Tulane.
01:11I think it's a different animal today with revenge.
01:14I lean to Georgia in the matchup.
01:15Yeah, I think Georgia is the right side in this game too, Joe.
01:17As we take a look at how we got here is usually what we like to look at.
01:20You know, the LSU game on the 27th of September, 24 to 19.
01:24You'll take a win in the SEC at any time.
01:26That was a five-point close win.
01:28Washington State game was interesting though.
01:30Many expected a blowout, a cruise control victory, but maybe they had their eyes on the prize of who's coming up next week, 24 to 21.
01:37Then you take a look at Georgia, who credit them because they went to the Plains and knocked off Auburn.
01:41That game had a lot of controversy.
01:42Like, it doesn't look like to me both of these teams really in rhythm entering into this one.
01:46But maybe they both were looking ahead to this game, Joe.
01:49It's possible.
01:50I think for Lane Kiffin, obviously, you know, you're a 31-and-a-half-point favorite.
01:54You got the victory a couple weeks ago over LSU.
01:56You don't want to show all that much.
01:58For Georgia, rivalry game against Auburn.
02:01They did get beat up a bit in the first half.
02:04The critical, controversial call with Jackson-Arnold, that really changed the momentum.
02:09Now there's no room for error.
02:11You know, Georgia has one loss.
02:12They can't afford another home loss.
02:14And Ole Miss, potentially, if they win, Donnie, they're in the driver's seat in the SEC.
02:19They can afford a loss down the stretch and still make it to the college football playoff
02:23and an SEC championship.
02:25Contrast in styles.
02:26Blue-collar offense for Georgia.
02:28Wide open of attack for Ole Miss.
02:30Which defense will be better and win the turnover battle?
02:33I'll still take my shot with Kirby Smart laying 6-and-a-half.
02:37Also this, Joe.
02:37You take a look at Ole Miss' schedule.
02:39They're unbeaten 3-and-0 in the SEC.
02:40Week number one, they open up against Georgia State.
02:42Their only road game was at Kentucky, a close one, 30-23.
02:46The remaining games, Arkansas, Tulane, LSU, and Washington State, all at home.
02:50A little bit different of a ground here when you're going down inside the hedges there
02:53to take on the University of Georgia.
02:55But also from a Georgia perspective, looking to make it right.
02:58You know, secondly, they don't like to lose home games.
03:00They got beat by Alabama in a close game, but they did lose that one.
03:03I do give the edge to Georgia.
03:04I like the defense more.
03:05And also, Chambliss, do we have a film on them now where other teams' defensive coordinators, Joe,
03:09can sort of sink their teeth into?
03:10Yeah, well, if you're looking at mobility, Trinidad Chambliss could be the X factor today
03:15because Georgia has struggled with mobile quarterbacks.
03:18They struggled with Jackson Arnold this year in the first half against Auburn last week.
03:23They struggled with Jalen Milrow in the first half against Alabama last year.
03:27They need to contain him on the perimeter, force him into long, predictable third downs
03:32to generate a pass rush.
03:34We'll see.
03:34One of the worst secondaries for Georgia completion percentage dating back to 2020.
03:39So that's a matchup.
