00:00We talked about the matchup earlier in the week between Ole Miss and Tulane.
00:05John Summerall on this team won their conference championship.
00:08They lost to Ole Miss earlier in the year.
00:11Now they're catching 17 and a half in this matchup.
00:14They have lost 14 straight games, coach, to the Ole Miss Rebels.
00:18Haven't knocked off Ole Miss since 1988.
00:22The last four have been decided by an average margin of defeat of 32.6 points per game.
00:28Do you give Jake Rexloff and the Tulane Green Wave any chance to potentially strike the upset this year?
00:37I mean, when you said any chance, I think you give them any chance.
00:40It's not a great chance.
00:42I just don't think the cards, you look at everything going on at Tulane.
00:46Now, again, the coach has done a great job.
00:48The quarterback's done a great job.
00:50They've won their conference.
00:51They played very well.
00:53They did not give Ole Miss a lot of a game, but played pretty well against Ole Miss,
00:58but still lost by a considerable margin.
01:02And now you've got the coach with one foot out the door.
01:04You've got several coaches, I'm sure, with one foot out the door.
01:08And you've got players wondering what the future is.
01:10All that being said, the head coach will coach them.
01:14They'll be trying to get ready to play.
01:16I do kind of like them in the number.
01:19I like them with the point total out there.
01:21But I don't think they can hang with Ole Miss.
01:23And I don't think they have a chance to win this game.
01:27Too many things going on behind the scenes there.
01:30And, you know, these teams, James Madison and Tulane both, they've made the playoff.
01:35What an incredible run.
01:36Their chances of moving very far within the playoff are not strong.
01:40And I can just see coaches and players say, you know what, we've reached our goal.
01:45And that's where we got to.
01:47I just wonder if that's a factor.
01:48How much of a factor is Lane Kiffin not being on the sideline?
01:53We talked about interim head coach Pete Golding and offensive coordinator Charlie Weiss Jr.
01:59taking over the reins for this matchup and potentially a national championship run.
02:05But how much of a factor is Lane Kiffin not being in the locker room maybe a detriment to the Ole Miss Rebels in this matchup?
02:13I don't think it's nearly as much as James Madison and Tulane.
02:17One, this team, they've had a tough SEC battle.
02:20They've had a great season, one of the greatest seasons in history at Ole Miss.
02:25They've got the offensive play caller back, the defensive coordinator back.
02:29Their game day operations ought to be almost virtually the same thing.
02:33I could see Ole Miss playing as good as they can play and not being held back.
02:38I know there could be some behind-the-scenes activity going on on the telephone,
02:42in communications with some of their players.
02:45But I do think they have a chance.
02:47They don't come into the playoffs saying, OK, we made the playoffs, that's it.
02:50They do come in and say, you know what, let's keep this thing running.
02:53They've got a good staff working with them.
02:55And you've got a defensive coordinator that's going to be their head coach pulling them together.
02:59So I don't see it having as much of a factor Ole Miss.
03:03The question is going to be, do they have enough talent to beat the team they're playing?
03:06So
03:09good
03:12What a great day.
03:12Whatever, I am a shame.
03:14I love you.
03:16I love you.
03:16I love them.
03:18It's great.
03:19We'll get you there.
