00:00Hi everyone, this is Sandy. Welcome to Easy Cuisine. As you can see, today's video is going to be all about Halloween.
00:20Today I'm going to be giving you some really easy delicious and very popular friendly ideas to start your Halloween party.
00:25Today I'm going to be showing you how to make 3 different appetizers using 1 same ingredients.
00:30So already folks enjoy this recipe, the preparation time is going to be about 10 minutes and the cooking time is about 15 to 20 minutes.
00:35So already folks enjoy this video, let's get started.
00:42Let's go through the ingredients. We need 10 hot dogs, 4 to 6 cheese slices or if you prefer you can use half a cup of shredded cheese.
00:50We need 5 to 10 slices of bacon, I'm using turkey bacon but feel free to use any kind of bacon you like.
00:56We need 1 can of crescent roll dough, to garnish we need ketchup, mustard and about 3 tablespoons of your favorite barbecue sauce.
01:05Let's get started.
01:09Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
01:13Cut the bacon slices in half lengthwise.
01:16Then, cut the cheese slices into thin strips.
01:20Now grab a hot dog and with a small knife start cutting lengthwise, leaving about half an inch space from the top and half an inch from the other end.
01:31Don't cut all the way through, you just want to make a small opening that looks like this, kind of like a pocket.
01:37And continue to do this until you're done.
01:40Now fill the hot dog pocket with cheese.
01:43You can use any kind of cheese you like, shredded cheese or string cheese will be great for this recipe.
01:49Now grab some bacon and wrap it around the hot dog.
01:53You can use 1 or 2 pieces of bacon.
01:55Just make sure to leave about an inch from one end of the hot dog unwrapped because that will be the mummy head.
02:01So keep unwrapping the hot dogs with the bacon and when you're done, place them aside for a minute.
02:07Now unroll the dough and I'm going to cut it in half just to make it easier for me to work with it.
02:13Now pinch the perforations on the dough together to seal them completely.
02:18You want the dough to be nice and even without any perforations at all.
02:22So just pinch the perforations to close them together.
02:26Once the dough is nice and even with a small knife, cut the dough into thin strips.
02:33They don't have to be perfect and they don't have to be the same size at all.
02:38So when you're done cutting the dough, now grab a hot dog and wrap it around with the bandages.
02:43You can use as many bandages or dough strips as you like.
02:47I recommend using 3 or 4 bandages per hot dog.
02:50Just wrap it around any way you like.
02:55And remember to leave a small opening on the hot dog to decorate the mummy face later.
03:00And just keep on repeating these steps until you're done.
03:04Then place them on a baking sheet and bake them in a 375 degree oven for about 15 to 17 minutes or until they are slightly brown.
03:14Now decorate the mummy face with mustard or you can decorate it with ketchup if you prefer so.
03:20And that's about it. You're done. Enjoy!
03:24Now I'm going to show you how to make some really cute monsters and blurry fingers.
03:28For this recipe we need hack dogs and about 3 tablespoons of BBQ sauce and monster for garnish.
03:34Let's get started.
03:36Cut the hack dog in half.
03:39Grab one of the halves and slice it several times to give the monster 8 legs.
03:45Don't slice all the way through. Leave about 1 inch or 2 inches for the monster's head.
03:51As you can see I sliced the end in half, then in half again and then 2 more times.
03:57And that gives me 8 legs.
04:01Now I'm going to trim the inside of the legs just so the monster can stay flat on the surface.
04:07Cut as much of the meat from the inside of the legs as you need so the monster can stand on its own.
04:14And just keep on repeating these steps until you're done.
04:21To make the bloody fingers, cut the hack dog in half.
04:24Then grab one of the halves and with a knife draw in the nail and then remove it from the finger.
04:33Now draw some lines just below the fingernail to make the knuckles and that's about it.
04:40If you want you can recreate the fingernail with bacon pieces or just lift the finger like that and you can decorate it later with ketchup.
04:48And that's it.
04:50Now place both the monsters and the fingers on a baking sheet and brush them with BBQ sauce.
04:56And bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about 10 to 15 minutes or until they are heated through.
05:04Decorate the monster's face with mustard.
05:12And don't forget to stir the fingers with lots of ketchup for a blurry presentation.
05:16And that's about it. Enjoy!
