As South Africa have put themselves in position for a semifinal spot in the women's cricket world cup.

The Proteas dominated Sri Lanka with a 10-wicket win in a rain affected affair match.

00:18The Proteas were off to a great start with the ball snapping up a couple wickets before rain interrupted play.
00:23South Africa snapped up 5 more wickets when play resumed but with only 59 runs added to the total.
00:30The Sri Lankans would make 105 for 7 of 20 overs but the target was adjusted upward to 125 due to time loss to the weather.
00:40It was virtually a T20 match for the South African women and they adjusted to the demand well.
00:45Skipper Laura Volvat and Tasman Brits took the drama out of the run chase.
