00:00DIY SOS is back.
00:06Here we go for it.
00:07Let's get going.
00:08Come on, here we go.
00:09Oh, my gosh, I love it so much.
00:11It's stunning.
00:12Look at this, Ralph.
00:13Yeah.
00:15Taking on extraordinary builds.
00:18Look at that.
00:19It's over the house.
00:21Hello.
00:22For even more extraordinary people.
00:24Here we go.
00:27I didn't think I'd ever get upstairs.
00:29Again.
00:30Send all the builders down.
00:32Along with our secret weapon.
00:35It's like an army.
00:36There's a lot of people, isn't it?
00:37There's no comment.
00:38The great British public.
00:40I'm excited.
00:41I didn't know I had this many friends.
00:44This time.
00:45Shall I paint your bedroom pink?
00:48No.
00:50A family in Bracknell need our help to keep their son out of hospital.
00:54You can't exactly barricade the door, can you?
00:56No, we can't.
00:57Watch yourself.
00:58The thing is, if we can do it as well.
01:00Oh, .
01:01That's how good the wall is.
01:02Oh, God.
01:03Now what?
01:04Oh, my God.
01:05It's like a swimming pool in here.
01:07We've got a bit of an issue.
01:09The bath doesn't fit.
01:11What?
01:12We're right on the wall.
01:13Are you joking?
01:14No.
01:15We're going to have to shut everything off.
01:18We're stuffed, aren't we?
01:21And that is why you shouldn't build a house in eight days.
01:24I'm off to Bracknell to meet Dean and Laura and their two children.
01:36Sienna's 13, Rafi's eight.
01:37Now, about a year ago, Rafi got what they thought was a stomach bug turned into something
01:42a lot worse.
01:43It turned out it was an E. coli infection.
01:45He ended up very, very ill and life at home for all of them has become very difficult
01:49as a result.
01:51Rafi.
01:52Oh!
01:53Sweet!
01:54Our family is the all-singing, all-dancing type family.
01:59We're very much wholly onto the creative side.
02:05There's always something going on.
02:07I did it!
02:09Thomas!
02:10Yay!
02:11Rafi was definitely a mummy's boy.
02:14Happy anniversary, mummy and daddy.
02:16He loved his home comfort.
02:18Oh, my God!
02:21Yeah!
02:22And he had an exceptional mind.
02:25Democratic Republic of the Congo.
02:28DR Congo!
02:29Biggest, his smallest.
02:31Russia, Canada, China, America, Brazil, Australia.
02:35But then, obviously, that was quite swiftly robbed.
02:40Got a call from the school saying he got tummy ache.
02:44And then that stomach ache just got worse and worse.
02:47So then we said, right, we're going to go to A&E.
02:50We were greeted by an incredible consultant who said,
02:53I know what this is.
02:54This is hemolytic uremic syndrome.
02:56It's incredibly rare.
02:57He had three seizures, kidney failure.
03:04Every organ affected.
03:06And he went 23 minutes without oxygen due to cardiac arrest.
03:10At 2am, we got a phone call saying, come and say goodbye.
03:15He won't make it through.
03:17Can we stop?
03:21Simon says, put both hands up.
03:31Whoa!
03:33But Rafi did make it through.
03:35Here we go.
03:36After almost a year in hospital, the family made it home two months ago.
03:42Cosy?
03:43But now, social services have deemed the house unsuitable for Rafi's complex needs.
03:49Point to the blue donut.
03:51So, returning him to a medical facility is looking inevitable.
03:55Good boy.
03:56I cannot face going back to hospital.
04:00I can't face going anywhere else.
04:02We need to be at home.
04:03But the house isn't appropriate for him.
04:09Hello.
04:10Hello.
04:11Nick.
04:12Nice to meet you.
04:13May I come and have a look around?
04:14Of course.
04:15Thank you very much.
04:16This is Rafi.
04:17Good morning.
04:18Nice.
04:19How's he doing?
04:21He's miraculous.
04:22He's doing amazing.
04:23Bless him.
04:24In the hospital, we were told that his main recovery would be within the first year.
04:29He did nothing in that first year.
04:31His real recovery started once he was home.
04:33Once he got home.
04:34I can see why you want to keep him at home.
04:35But I don't even know how you get the wheelchair in through that front door and hallway set up anyway.
04:39We can't.
04:40The wheelchair doesn't come in the house.
04:41Oh, so from that point you have to lift him.
04:43Yeah, we lift him from there.
04:44We carry out through.
04:45Not having a hoist gave Dean a lot of back problems, didn't it?
04:47Yeah.
04:48Is it alright for one of you to show me around the place?
04:50Yeah, of course.
04:51Yep.
04:52This is the kitchen.
04:54Currently a storeroom.
04:55Are you doing much cooking in here?
04:56Dean loves nutrition.
04:58So Rafi is on a superfood diet.
05:00Food that heals the body, basically.
05:02Have you been on the internet researching everything you could possibly research?
05:05Dean's job.
05:06He was a musician, but he hasn't played music since Rafi got sick.
05:10Is that right?
05:11He will always opt for Rafi's physio over doing something for himself.
05:16What is it that you need in the ground floor here?
05:20For him to be able to come in in his wheelchair.
05:22And he needs to be able to have a bath.
05:24He hasn't had a bath in so long.
05:26Upstairs, the rooms are mostly used for storage.
05:29Laura and daughter Sienna share a bedroom and Dean camps out in Rafi's old room.
05:35Their third bedroom has been adapted for Sienna's biggest passion.
05:39She is a dancer.
05:41That's what she loves.
05:42So...
05:43How good is she?
05:44World champion.
05:45She's a world champion?
05:46Yeah.
05:47Wow!
05:48We tried to make our bedroom into a dance studio for her because she misses a lot of training
05:53now because so much of her life is about Raf.
05:57I see the emotion bubbling up straight away when you talk about that.
06:00I know.
06:05Of course there's guilt and everything with that, but it's not like you have any option.
06:08Does she complain much?
06:10Never.
06:11There you go.
06:12No.
06:13You alright?
06:14Okay.
06:15Can I go and say hello to her?
06:16Of course.
06:19Sienna?
06:20Yeah?
06:21This is Nick.
06:22Hello.
06:23Wow, look at all the trophies.
06:24These are really cool.
06:25Is this the big one?
06:27The world champs isn't it?
06:28Yeah.
06:29So where was that?
06:30In Poland.
06:31And you were world champion?
06:32Yeah.
06:33That's pretty amazing.
06:35Have you been able to continue and do normal things like your dancing?
06:38Mostly, but when there's like a bug going round in the dance school, sometimes I take
06:43the night off so it doesn't spread to Raf.
06:45So you think we should come and do this?
06:47Yeah.
06:48Alright, we're going to leave you to go on with your practicing.
06:50Nice to meet you.
06:51Nice to meet you.
06:56It's really sad.
06:57Look at all the musical equipment stashed away.
06:59And look at that box of toys as well.
07:02I mean that must be hard in itself to look at toys that your son can't play with now.
07:09This is like their entire life of what's gone all in one room.
07:13Constant reminders.
07:15That must be very hard.
07:20This is what we have.
07:24Well, this is a substantial extra space.
07:26We did a GoFundMe and amazing people just came forward and said, right, we're going to help.
07:31Why has it stopped now?
07:32Because the GoFundMe is running out.
07:34It was decided that he would come home on a basis, that this would be up very quickly and that hasn't happened.
07:40So our risk then is that he has to go back into a medical setting.
07:45You can't exactly barricade the door, can you?
07:48No, we can't.
07:51Right, it's cold out here.
07:52You get back in the warm.
07:54Give me five minutes to have a think out here.
07:56This family are doing everything they can to stay in this house because Rafi recovers better here.
08:12We shouldn't be the only answer, but I think we are.
08:16Are you cosy?
08:18Eh.
08:19Are you OK?
08:20Eh.
08:21Are you so cute?
08:22Eh.
08:25It's going to be complicated because it's a small house and we can't make it any bigger.
08:29We understand it's a huge, it is a huge ask.
08:31As long as it's accessible and we can feel like a four again.
08:35The truth of the matter is you need to get this done because sooner or later the hospital are going to come round and go, you can't, you can't carry on like this.
08:42So you're exactly the kind of people that we need to help.
08:46Yeah, I'm going to come and do it.
08:48Ah.
08:49Do you hear that Raf?
08:50Isn't that amazing?
08:51Are you OK?
08:52All the day you wake up needing somebody and you're right.
09:04For the life of me I don't know how we're going to do it yet, but we'll work it out.
09:09Do we get one more fist bump?
09:11We'll see you again very soon, right?
09:15See you soon.
09:16You're in it.
09:17You're in it.
09:18You're in it.
09:19You're in it.
09:20I have a son of a similar age and they would have to take him back into hospital.
09:28I don't think you have to be a parent to understand it, but certainly as a parent it like hit hard with me.
09:34Yeah.
09:36Four months later, I'm back in Bracknell.
09:52Hello.
09:53Hello, hello, hello.
09:54Hello.
09:55Good morning.
09:56How are you?
09:57How are you?
09:58Hi.
09:59Hi.
10:00How are you?
10:01Let's get your fist bump down there.
10:02Nice.
10:03Thank you very much.
10:04How are you doing?
10:05Are you worried about what's going to happen?
10:06No.
10:07I'm excited.
10:08Still can't believe it's going to be done.
10:09Really?
10:10Well, we'll do our best.
10:11Unless the people turn up.
10:13Absolutely.
10:14We can't do it on our own.
10:15Do you think people will turn up?
10:16Yeah.
10:17Yeah.
10:18Yeah.
10:19Transforming this house will require a Herculean effort.
10:23Can you hear your voices?
10:25Yeah.
10:26We rely on local tradespeople, businesses and volunteers to turn the impossible into a reality.
10:32Look, they're still coming.
10:37Look at all these people.
10:39We're going to have a bath and you're going to have a bedroom.
10:46Yeah!
10:47Ready to go meet them?
10:49Yep.
10:50Beautiful.
10:51Great for all these people.
10:56Thank you for all these people.
11:02We did it!
11:04If you'd have come a year and a half ago, this boy would have come to the door himself.
11:12He would have used his own legs, used his own arms and hands to open the door,
11:16and his own voice to greet you.
11:19Yeah.
11:21But every day this boy fights to get as much function back as possible.
11:25And as a family, we don't have the means to provide Rafi with the home he needs.
11:30So to see you guys here with all your talents, standing up for him, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much.
11:40Thank you!
11:42Daddy, do you think you can sign up? Thank you to everyone.
11:45Happy people.
11:46Good boy.
11:46Good boy.
11:47Good to do that, man.
11:53So, it's you that are going to put this family back in and give that little boy the chance to live a normal life.
11:59So, are we up for it?
12:01Yeah!
12:02Let's get in the building. Come on.
12:14I love the first day. Everybody just goes at it like mad.
12:17Woo!
12:18Good fun, innit?
12:19How are you?
12:19Good boy.
12:20Good boy.
12:20Let's go!
12:23Let's open the place up a bit.
12:25As our volunteers make quick work of stripping out the house, we can already see problems with the family's plans for the unfinished extension.
12:34Putting Rafi's bedroom and bathroom here was the most easy and simple thing for the family to do with the budget they had.
12:41It doesn't really work. It blocks off all the light. It's like flopping a sort of duvet over the back of your house.
12:48I want him to be getting as much daylight and fresh air, all the things he's been deprived of.
12:53So, we're keeping Rafi in that front room and it will give the family this amazing living area.
12:59We've got a massive skylight going in here, so we're going to be beams of light coming in here.
13:03All this is going to come out. This is really a design about hope and optimism for Rafi's recovery.
13:14The extra living space is just one of many key elements we're adding to this house to help cater for all the family's needs.
13:23I have made a promise to this family that this little boy is not going back to hospital. It's up to you lot to make it happen.
13:28No pressure. You're all on there. You're all on.
13:34The family were thinking they put Rafi in the extension, but of course it means the rest of the family are crammed in the dark side, which is the wrong way round.
13:44To maximise the light coming into the house, the ground floor will be completely redesigned.
13:49The partially built extension will become a new living dining room coming off the kitchen.
13:54And for Rafi, we're building him a brand new bedroom and bathroom.
14:00Are we going to have them lifty things that can't hoist?
14:03But only between bedroom and bathroom. So we've got two H-track hoists going in.
14:08Which means the existing ceilings mean to come down.
14:12Yes.
14:12So it's not a patch and repair job.
14:14Full board and skim everywhere.
14:15Right, OK.
14:16Yeah, this hoist ends up adding in a lot of structural elements.
14:20But with it being a 70s house, the building regs during that time were a little bit like,
14:25just get it built, we just leave houses quick.
14:28You're right, and it's slightly more complex than that.
14:29Upstairs is a dance room for Sienna, and jumping up and down and dancing on a floor,
14:34we might have to beef up the supporting wall that runs down the spine of the house.
14:40Upstairs, the first floor layout stays the same, but with rooms reassigned.
14:44We're moving Sienna's dance studio, and she'll also have a brand new bedroom.
14:49And for the first time in over a year, Laura and Dean will have a room to call their own.
14:55The garden's going to be interesting for you. It's about half a metre lower than the house,
14:58and I want him to have access all the way through.
15:01We're going to have to look at building that up.
15:02In my head, what I'm seeing is an outdoor room.
15:05Yeah. Outdoor kitchen.
15:06I love that. Herbs and vegetables.
15:08Dad, Dean, has now really controlled Rafi's food intake, and that, they're fairly sure,
15:13has contributed to his recovery.
15:15To be able to pick, like, fresh produce from your garden, it's amazing.
15:18The other thing that comes to mind is it's going to be a rise and fall bath,
15:23sink, and now we're having a special toilet.
15:25All three of those things, darling.
15:27You've got quite a bit of electrics to go, haven't you? What with that, and solar and everything.
15:30Yeah. Solar can have one feed, and that's all they're going to have.
15:32He does electrics, but he doesn't do electronics,
15:34so he hands on and defers to the people putting it in.
15:37No, every trade's their own trade.
15:40We wouldn't ask us to do plumbing, would you?
15:42You wouldn't say, oh, Billy, can you go and plumb a board?
15:44I'll be honest, Bill, I sometimes worry about asking you to do electrics.
15:50I feel really packed up after that.
15:57As the ground floor is gutted, the plasterboard's off,
16:01the main structural wall in the middle of the house has been uncovered.
16:04And this is what's holding up all upstairs.
16:10Like bits of old floorboard, there's noggins here.
16:12And as we always say, what would you do in your own house?
16:15Yeah, this needs to come out.
16:16It moves that when you shake it, look.
16:18And because we're going to put hoist over here,
16:19and we're essentially having a dance studio up there,
16:22we've got to beef up what's holding everything up.
16:24Yeah, the thing is, if we can do it as well, oh, .
16:27That's how good it is.
16:28That's how good the wall is.
16:29All right, so we're halfway through the first day,
16:31and we're looking like we're going to be half a day behind.
16:33Yeah, why don't we crack on, then?
16:39All right, so tell me how to do it, then. What do I do first?
16:42Plant specialist Ash is having a crash course in Brick Lane
16:45to tackle the large drop from the back of the house.
16:49To make sure there's a bit of mortar evenly spread over,
16:51let's move it out.
16:52Yep.
16:52It's a bit like butter on a piece of toast.
16:55To make the garden flush with the house floor,
16:57the new brick and concrete base will raise the whole garden
17:00by nearly half a metre.
17:03So it needs to come down quite a bit.
17:06That's it, keep going.
17:07Are we there?
17:08You've laid your first block, probably 200 miles to go.
17:10Oh, well, I'm a natural now, so we'll whiz through it together.
17:14Oh, well, that's Andy. You missed the cables.
17:24The problem with renovating a 1970s building, though...
17:27The whole frame's cracked. Unbelievable.
17:29...is you never know what you're going to uncover.
17:31So basically, the issue now is there is asbestos in the outer wall.
17:35We are in the UPVC cladding. It is safe where it is,
17:38but the issue is we've got a cracked window at the top of the frame.
17:41It's cracked there. This is no good as it is.
17:43So we have to take it out?
17:45We can't take it out because we're touching the asbestos.
17:47So we do need the asbestos to come out.
17:51The issue is, if we do that, we need a licence, which is 14 days.
17:55But obviously, you're going to have to make a phone call
17:56and see if we can get that licence in place in the time we've got.
17:59It is time.
18:00A lot of 60s, 70s houses had asbestos put in them
18:04before everybody realised the dangers.
18:06It's safe if you leave it and you don't touch it.
18:08But unfortunately, a window, something we thought we could leave alone,
18:12we can't, and now we need specialist people in hazmat suits to come in and take it out.
18:16It would be great if it was done at night.
18:17When no one's on site, we come back in the morning, it's all complete.
18:20All right, fair enough. I'll get on the phone and see what we can get sorted.
18:22Lovely job. Thanks, Nick.
18:25Hello.
18:26Hello. Is that the HSE asbestos licensing unit?
18:29Yeah.
18:29It's Nick Knowles from DIY SOS.
18:31Hello.
18:31It is a problem.
18:33It's a problem we know how to deal with.
18:35If we can expedite that licence so that we can get it done,
18:39whether we'll be able to do it or not,
18:41will depend entirely on whether we can get the permission in time.
18:43I can't make any problem with this.
18:45While the main spine wall of the house is beefed up...
18:54It's 100 times better than when we arrived this morning.
18:57All right, find that stand-by.
18:59I'm so excited.
19:01The half-built extension is being opened up to the rest of the house.
19:05The beam is going in, which means we can take out all of this wall
19:09that makes that kitchen so dark and miserable.
19:12Go!
19:17Game-changer, this beam.
19:19It's all about letting the light in.
19:26It suddenly works now, doesn't it?
19:27Yeah. Thank you so much.
19:30Raffi, yeah, he's a lovely little lad and my boy was in the same school.
19:34Yeah, so hopefully we can do what we can do here and transform their whole life.
19:38You know, that's what it's all about, really.
19:39Yeah, it's been an amazing day.
19:42Yes.
19:43Well, then, tomorrow?
19:44Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
19:56Good morning.
19:58Yeah.
19:59Isn't it lovely?
20:04Upstairs, when's that stud wall being built?
20:06We'll go up and have a little bit, but that front room is ready.
20:10The downstairs rooms are still being built.
20:14But with the first floor layout remaining the same, most of it's now ready for plastering.
20:18Don't go with your end here.
20:19That's the specialist.
20:20Yeah, yeah, yeah.
20:22My plan today is I would like to be completed upstairs
20:28and something going on downstairs.
20:30That's, that's, and then I know we can finish it tomorrow.
20:39Hello?
20:40Hello.
20:40Hello, Nick.
20:41So, I've just spoken to our asbestos lights and cinchene.
20:45Yes.
20:45And so, from what I got told is,
20:51it's it, yes?
20:52Brilliant.
20:53So, the asbestos will continue.
20:55That's amazing.
20:56Thank you so much for all your work.
20:57Cheers, bye.
20:59There we go.
21:00We can change this window tonight.
21:02We've got all of the certification that we need to make it happen.
21:04So, that's an absolute result.
21:14Stretch your knees.
21:15Nice.
21:16A few miles down the road at Siena's training centre.
21:18Front foot.
21:19Fitness fanatic Radha has tagged along with Gabby to learn some new moves.
21:25Hi, Laura.
21:26Hello.
21:26Hi, I'm Gabby.
21:27How are you?
21:27Hiya, good, thank you.
21:29Hi, Laura, I'm Radha.
21:30Hiya.
21:30Any chance that I'll be able to join in?
21:32Of course.
21:32Coach Siena, let's see what we can do.
21:35I've never met anyone so bouncy or enthusiastic as Radha.
21:41Oh, that's good, that's very good.
21:45Let's do something harder.
21:49Okay.
21:51You must be so proud, it's normal.
22:02Yeah, after Rafi got poorly, she didn't train for that whole year.
22:07So, when it got to finals, she hadn't trained.
22:09But she won the bronze medal at the World Cup.
22:12At the World Cup?
22:13Yeah.
22:13Yeah.
22:15With no practice?
22:16Yeah.
22:17Incredible.
22:17Yeah.
22:19Jump, flip.
22:23When we went to the World Championships, she cried all the way from our house to the airport.
22:28She was just absolutely hysterical.
22:30She doesn't like leaving him, she likes to be with him all the time.
22:32Is it that she feels responsible or she just feels she needs to be there?
22:35I think she said goodbye to Rafi when he had the cardiac arrest.
22:38He didn't breathe for 23 minutes, so she came into intensive care very briefly to say goodbye.
22:42She was so traumatised by that moment.
22:47Little Sienna must have felt like her whole world turned upside down suddenly.
22:51She missed a lot for a year and a half, now she still doesn't train the same way.
23:01Well, we're going to sort that out, OK?
23:03Yeah.
23:04Yeah.
23:05Yeah.
23:06Yeah.
23:07Yeah.
23:09The dance studio is not just a kind of nice to have luxury.
23:24This is, this is something she needs.
23:27All right, let's try it.
23:32Round of applause.
23:34That was really good.
23:36Great.
23:37Good coach, very good coach.
23:39You're on it.
23:46Should we go check it out?
23:47Yeah.
23:49This was Sienna's bedroom and now we're turning it into the dance studio.
23:53Very nice.
23:54So what I want you to do is magically make it work.
23:58So seeing Sienna dance, this space with the width is going to be beautiful.
24:02I want to actually do a massive wall of mirrors and then shelves filled with trophies.
24:06It's all going to be amazing, isn't it Walter?
24:09Well, I'm telling you, it should be good.
24:10I mean, right now, there's no space.
24:13I'm feeling so tense right now.
24:15It's like playing Tetris or Jenga or something.
24:30Look at this new platform.
24:32How fantastic is this?
24:33End of day two and suddenly you've got a completely raised garden with a fantastic surface that you're
24:38going to be able to pave on really easily.
24:39Yes, it's going to be completely flush with the extension, which is amazing.
24:43Is it?
24:44Because that looks to me like it's still going to be, there's still a bit low.
24:48Don't worry.
24:49Normally go about 50 mil, we're going to go about 70 to 80 mil.
24:52Yeah.
24:53All right.
24:54All right.
24:54It's all good.
24:55It's not your first time doing this, is it?
24:56It's not a bit of interference.
24:57Basically, that's what they're saying, yeah.
24:59Leave us alone, we know what we're doing.
25:03You've got the typical drawings here.
25:05Yeah, so that's Rafi's hoist system.
25:07As work continues downstairs.
25:10How much do we need?
25:11Pool stairs landing.
25:1210 litres more than enough.
25:1310 litres.
25:14Okay, I'll sort it out.
25:15Okay, darling.
25:16Gabi is upstairs finalising designs in the bedrooms.
25:19So I'm just looking through Sienna's colour scheme.
25:22This softest, softest, almost like a plaster pink.
25:26And then this very, very soft green.
25:30And I found this beautiful paper bringing in this third colour, this soft warm brown.
25:37So it's the rule, really, of three colours that brings the room alive.
25:41For more than a year, she was living in a hospital.
25:43So getting a sense of her own bedroom and her own space.
25:48So important.
25:52Across the hall, Laura and Dean's room is getting a very different style.
25:55Oh, my.
25:57Gabi, what have you done?
25:59This is calm, restful bedroom.
26:00It's all right for this room to be dark.
26:02Look, this reflects the light, but in a soft way.
26:06Right, hang on.
26:06So we're going to...
26:08Oh, stop it.
26:08But look, it's ours, you see?
26:10Oh, no, okay, okay.
26:10Glimmery.
26:11And we're just painting this dark, because when you're using a dark paper, you want to paint
26:15the wall underneath it dark.
26:16It's slightly going to have a white line.
26:18Don't want white lines, do we, darling?
26:19What do you think of the colour, ladies?
26:21You suppose?
26:22Why?
26:29The day shift is finished.
26:31Oh, man, it's getting late.
26:33But the asbestos team are just getting started.
26:37Closing it down, so pack up.
26:39A couple of minutes, please.
26:43With the house locked down, all we can do is hope they can clear the asbestos in one night,
26:48so work can continue tomorrow.
26:59Opera job.
27:00There you go.
27:02Well, that's a bit of a result.
27:04Always go the extra mile, and we always do.
27:06So it's a new window, and that's the last thing on the house that I wasn't happy with,
27:10which I am now happy with.
27:13How are we doing?
27:14All right, good, good, good, good, good.
27:17There's a skylight to go in here.
27:19One there and one there.
27:21Plumbing going in, electric's going in.
27:24The main spine wall of the house has now been completely rebuilt.
27:27You could run a rhinoceros at that wall now, and it wouldn't go down,
27:30and that's what's holding up the middle of the house.
27:33Having solved the big structural issues, we can now start turning it into a home.
27:37There you go.
27:38Cable to your right.
27:40That's it.
27:44George, turn it off.
27:46Oh, God, now what?
27:49What's happened?
27:52Oh, my God, it's like a swimming pool in here.
27:55We're going to have to shut everything off.
27:58All right, turn it off.
28:01Let's have it.
28:03Turn it off.
28:0315 guys wrenching wood off.
28:07Water squirting everywhere.
28:09Lots of shouting.
28:10It's not, it's just, it's just not civilised in here today.
28:17Something about this wall.
28:18It's the wall of doom.
28:21Pressure up, powering out, back in there.
28:23Very good.
28:24Yeah, that's good.
28:25No, it's not good for my stress levels, darling.
28:27I'm taking five minutes away from the building site to go and see one of Rafi's physio sessions,
28:40which are quite intense by all accounts.
28:41I think we've got one more wheel.
28:47Hand open.
28:48Good boy.
28:50You got it.
28:50Good, good.
28:52To help improve his strength and mobility, Dean brings Rafi to this specialist physiotherapy centre
28:58three times a week.
28:59So we can stick the wheel here.
29:02All your favourite colours, rainbow car.
29:04Hello, everyone.
29:05How are you?
29:06How are you?
29:06Good, how are you doing?
29:07I'm all right, thank you very much.
29:08How are you doing, Rafi?
29:09Can I have a five?
29:10Like, fist pump?
29:11We'll try standing.
29:12For standing?
29:13Standing, yeah.
29:18Are you OK?
29:18A little bit tight.
29:20Is that a bit tough, Rafi?
29:21Yeah.
29:33Very nice.
29:33Good boy.
29:34Good.
29:34Amazing.
29:35This is lovely.
29:36That's it.
29:37You got it.
29:38Great job, Rafi.
29:39Well done.
29:40Great determination.
29:44Little smile there.
29:45Yeah, OK.
29:46Amazing.
29:49You're going to borrow your dad for a minute.
29:50Is that right, Rafi?
29:51Yeah.
29:52I'm not astounded by what I've just seen.
29:58Did you ever believe you'd get to this stage?
29:59No.
30:00No.
30:02He couldn't even move his eyes.
30:04When they said, switch the machines off, it's time to let him go.
30:08And your decision was, well, let him decide.
30:10If he survives, he survives.
30:12And if he doesn't, he doesn't.
30:12Yes.
30:13I can't make that decision for him, especially, you know, five days into such a catastrophic brain injury.
30:19Three cardiac arrests and a stroke.
30:22I need to give that boy time.
30:27What I found in this journey is that you can create function by repetition.
30:33He was locked in a body, so I did it for him, and we just stretched arms out ten hours a day for months,
30:42until one day I just felt this electric feeling behind his arms, and that was him moving me.
30:51So, given that, what's his possibility?
30:54He has a lifetime to go, but I know he can go right up the scale.
31:03You're running yourself into the ground in the process.
31:05It's an all-or-nothing thing for me.
31:07Will you ease up at some stage?
31:09No. No. No.
31:11There's plainly a slightly obsessive, compulsive person inside that, for the first time in your life,
31:18is really working positively.
31:19Yeah, absolutely.
31:22Can you try?
31:22Yeah.
31:23OK.
31:25Rappi, I think you're doing an amazing job.
31:28You're working really hard, aren't you?
31:29Yeah.
31:31And I'm going to see you in a few days' time, is that all right?
31:33Yeah.
31:34Shall I paint your bedroom pink?
31:36No.
31:39Smash it.
31:40Give me a fist pump, I've got to get back to work.
31:44Do you want your bedroom pink?
31:46He didn't say yes to that, did he?
31:48He immediately shook his head.
31:50That boy's in there and battling hard to recapture a normal life, and we give him the right environment
31:56where they can operate as a family, and who knows where he can get to.
32:00Can you see this beautiful smile?
32:06This is going to be the creative hub of the house, so that both Dean and Sienna can all work in here.
32:19So where are you going to tuck this recording?
32:20Should it in this gap here?
32:21Yeah, then exactly here.
32:23Seeing Dean's dedication to Rafi's recovery.
32:26So I want to actually do a floating desk going here.
32:29I want him to have a space for his passion for making music.
32:32As well as a whole bunch of floating shelves, and everything should have a space and a home for him to work at.
32:37Nice, you've got a lot of work on your hands then.
32:39Only a few days, isn't it?
32:40Seriously.
32:40How many sugars?
32:52Just one, please.
32:54So we're going to create an opening where the window was, make that a doorway.
32:58We're now halfway through the build, and work has begun creating a wider front entrance for Rafi's wheelchair.
33:04We need to get it done as quick as possible.
33:05Let's go.
33:1026 circuits we've got.
33:12So far we haven't found anything wrong, have we?
33:14Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
33:17Oh, you're giving me help with taxes.
33:23With the house taking shape.
33:25How many appliances?
33:26Six.
33:27Today is a big day of deliveries.
33:30I've got loads to do.
33:31I need to fit a kitchen, all the decorating done.
33:34The tiles on, flooring down.
33:37My to-do list is still taller than me.
33:41Do you want to get them in?
33:42Can do, mate, yeah.
33:43The specially made skylight windows have arrived to allow much needed daylight into the dark extension.
33:48After three, one, two, three.
33:52Mate, mate.
33:53One dink and it's gone.
33:56This is tight.
33:58Gently, gently.
34:00Watch the walls.
34:01Perfect.
34:05Tom, don't drop it.
34:07I'll try not to.
34:08Yeah.
34:09All right, right after three.
34:10One, two, three.
34:14Hang on.
34:16Nice and steady.
34:16All right, it's nearly all your...
34:18Keep going past this, keep going.
34:20Lovely.
34:20Anything to do with glass gets my heart pumping.
34:31That is a lovely piece of glass.
34:38It is accessible.
34:39We can get a wheelchair for you, but it just looks a bit tight, doesn't it?
34:41If we take this unit out then, push this over by around roughly 200.
34:45Yeah, it'll just mean it'll just flow then.
34:50This might be the most beautiful use of roofing buttons that I've ever seen.
34:54It's looking mad out here.
34:55It is, isn't it?
34:56There's a big transformation going on.
34:58It's all happening right now.
34:59The whole like outside burglar kitchen situation.
35:01Kitchen, dining space.
35:03Like a little garden sanctuary.
35:04That's exactly the word I was about to use.
35:08Lava that up.
35:09Like hummus, sister.
35:13I'll just cut in them two edges.
35:17Hi, Nick.
35:18Can you come and have a look inside? We've got a bit of an issue.
35:20With what?
35:22The bath doesn't fit.
35:24What?
35:24No.
35:26A key requirement to keep Raffi at home is providing him with a fully accessible,
35:31hospital-grade bath.
35:33So, we've got a bit of an issue here, Nick.
35:36Because we've got a rise and fall bath in here, but we haven't got the room.
35:38Didn't we have the measurements?
35:39But we did, but we didn't know that we need 40 mil clearance either side for the bath.
35:44Because it rises before, you can't have your hands obviously over it in case you get trapped.
35:47Yeah.
35:48So where does, can we, can we take, where does this, I'm like, mine's going 100 miles an hour.
35:55What we can do, I think, we've just got to put a recess in here.
35:57So cut it to the top, push this back.
35:59Well, that's the only option, isn't it?
36:03When you build at speed, these things will happen.
36:08That's the sound of a man cutting a plasterboard so that he can take a wall out.
36:13It's not the sound I wanted to hear at this stage of the build, but it is what it is.
36:18Yeah.
36:20All right, it's all yours.
36:25See you on the next one.
36:28Loads of people in the house today.
36:31Just what an amazing team of people.
36:34This must be Rafi's teacher with Rafi's teacher written on the hat.
36:39It's really helpful.
36:40So did you work with Rafi before he got ill?
36:44Yes.
36:45Yeah, yeah.
36:45So, yeah, he just had an amazing brain that works in such an amazing way.
36:50And he loved different flags that he knew about, the maps that he knew.
36:56So, so difficult, isn't it?
36:57Yes.
36:58Yeah.
36:59Yeah.
37:00It's amazing now, though, seeing him the other day and some of that knowledge is coming back
37:05and he's being able to use it again.
37:07And when I asked him about what colour he wanted his room, I went through lots of colours
37:11and he kept saying, no, no.
37:12And then I said, do you want a rainbow?
37:14And he was like, yes.
37:15What's all the colours?
37:16I choose one.
37:19That was such a useful chat.
37:21So all systems go for rainbows.
37:31This is good.
37:32I could actually show you now what the resolution to that conversation was earlier,
37:36basically taking the wall back 40 minutes.
37:38You can see a recess here.
37:38And that gives us enough room now for the rise and full bath,
37:41without there being a problem.
37:44Brilliant.
37:50So, a hoist is all in now.
37:51All in, yeah.
37:52William, relax.
37:53What we want to do is just get you to sit down with this.
37:55Just there's lovely.
37:56Thanks very much.
37:57So, what's the weight capacity on this?
37:58130 kilos.
38:00Okay.
38:00And what do you reckon you are, Bill?
38:0278.
38:02That's his age.
38:03No, your weight, Billy.
38:05Well, did you have to do that once a time?
38:08Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep.
38:10Comfortable?
38:11It's very nice.
38:12It's very nice.
38:13As the lad gets bigger, it's getting more and more difficult for the parents to pick up and carry.
38:19I'll tell you what, this is beautiful.
38:21There we go.
38:22And back to you.
38:23More, more.
38:24You're in goal.
38:25What on earth is going on?
38:28Testing it out.
38:29We're testing the gas bag.
38:31What do you think, Gabby?
38:32It needs a bit more weight.
38:33Do you want to try?
38:34Whoa!
38:35Whoa!
38:36Whoa!
38:37That's it.
38:38Whoa!
38:39Whoa!
38:40Honestly, for your own safety, for your own safety, I'm going to get you out of there.
38:43Get him out!
38:44All right, so there's a lot of activity in here.
38:50The raised bed is rendered.
38:52It's ready for soil to be put in.
38:54The kitchen backing is going on.
38:56I'm just, like, anxious to get going and get the plants in now.
39:02Which walls do you want artwork on?
39:04I want it on all the walls.
39:06A feeling of a rainbow wraparound mural.
39:10Ah, OK.
39:10With so much colour going into Rafi's bedroom...
39:14Paint's all in here.
39:16..we brought in artist Fanny.
39:18Ooh, exciting.
39:19..to give it the full rainbow treatment.
39:22Oh, look at that!
39:23That is gorgeous!
39:24Oh, Violet Vanity.
39:27Ooh, what gorgeous names.
39:29Bengal Tiger.
39:30Oh, my God.
39:33What's that one called?
39:34I want to know the name.
39:34It's called Fanny's Lipstick.
39:36Yeah, it's cool.
39:37Woo-hoo!
39:38I've been getting a rainbow.
39:40We're patching it down.
39:55Oh!
39:58With just 24 hours to go, there's still a huge amount of work to do
40:02before we can hand this house back to the family.
40:05It's a really serious paper.
40:07After you've finished, I'll tell you how much.
40:12Today's a real day of just fine-tuning.
40:14Wardrobes are going up.
40:15Doors are going on.
40:16A lot of final touches.
40:17Nice one.
40:18Is it just one corner that they're liking?
40:20Yeah, just one.
40:22What is it like in your head at the moment?
40:23A lot of loud shrieking noises.
40:25I'll tell you how much it is.
40:32So where's that final push?
40:32You've got to get everything done.
40:36Hang on, few seconds.
40:37Got it?
40:38Yep.
40:39Oh, my God, bath is coming in.
40:43This rise and fall bath is a main requirement for the hospital
40:46to allow Rafi to stay at home.
40:51But after messing up with the measurements,
40:53now we'll find out if the bath actually fits.
40:56I hate this bit.
40:58Can I spin it in? Yeah, pivot.
41:02Yeah?
41:03We're right on the wall.
41:05We're right on the wall here as well.
41:07Could you not lift it up a bit more?
41:10I can't march.
41:13Lower it down.
41:14Oh, we're moving.
41:15Lower it down.
41:16Push. Yep, yep.
41:17Push it down.
41:19It's OK at this end.
41:21Yeah, you're right, RN.
41:23I think we're done.
41:24You down?
41:25Yeah, that's what you call a tight fit.
41:27Guys, does it fit?
41:29Like a glove.
41:31Mwah, mwah.
41:33And that is why you shouldn't build a house in eight days,
41:35because it's a nightmare.
41:37This is all absolutely vital kit going in now.
41:40And it's going to mean this little boy can stay at home
41:42with his family.
41:44Yeah, it's everything.
41:47Yeah, hang on.
41:49Notched back to create a curve.
41:51Really clever.
41:52Love it.
41:57The rest of the house is now starting to take shape.
42:00Does that fit in that?
42:04Fits.
42:06Perfect.
42:09I really love this part of the build.
42:10All of a sudden, everything starts to come together.
42:13You can see a house turn into a home.
42:15I love it.
42:16Out the way, please.
42:17This is so exciting.
42:18I'm so happy to start getting plants in the garden.
42:22That's an amazing bit of care, isn't it?
42:23Yeah, this hospital bed, there's an auto function on it as well.
42:26You don't need to turn the patient.
42:28It does it for them.
42:29But this will make a massive difference.
42:31Thank you so much.
42:36Alright, one, two, three.
42:40I want it to shine inwards.
42:44Would you like me to stay and help out with these?
42:46No.
42:47Go away so we can do this.
42:48I'd like you to have considered it for a couple of seconds
42:50before saying, like, no, so definitely.
42:52But, alright.
42:59That's only, like, half of them.
43:04The house is almost finished.
43:06It's all coming together.
43:08But there's one last thing that needs to go in.
43:11Hello, mate.
43:12Oh, alright, Nick.
43:14Oh, look at that.
43:16Raffi's toy box.
43:18I just think it's a fabulous way
43:19to keep all those things available for him.
43:22You know, as his rehab picks up, available,
43:25but just not on site all the time.
43:27Exactly that.
43:28Yeah, yeah.
43:29Good morning.
43:30Good morning.
43:31How are we feeling?
43:32I'm not sure how I'm feeling.
43:33I don't know how to feel.
43:34I'm really excited.
43:35Yep.
43:36Ready to come and see it?
43:37Yeah.
43:38Absolutely.
43:39Okay.
43:40Come with me.
43:41Before we arrived, this 1970s house had terrible access issues,
43:42and was a series of chaotic,
43:43and a lot of people who were in the room.
43:44I'm not sure how I'm feeling.
43:45I'm not sure how I'm feeling.
43:46I don't know how to feel.
43:47I'm really excited.
43:48Yeah.
43:49Ready to come and see it?
43:50Yeah.
43:51Absolutely.
43:52Okay.
43:53Come with me.
43:54Yeah.
43:55Before we arrived, this 1970s house had terrible access issues,
43:57and was a series of chaotic and disconnected rooms.
44:00The living room was completely taken over for Raffi's care,
44:03giving the family no space to spend quality time together.
44:05After running out of money, the half-finished extension
44:07had a lot of people who were in the room.
44:09It was completely taken over for Raffi's care,
44:11giving the family no space to spend quality time together.
44:13After running out of money, the half-finished extension
44:15had to be a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit
44:17of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.
44:26And with Raffi requiring so much specialist equipment,
44:29a permanent move back to hospital was looking inevitable.
44:35But...
44:40In just eight days,
44:41we've created a fully accessible entrance to rooms
44:45their own distinct purpose. A state-of-the-art kitchen connects to a
44:50living dining room filled with daylight created from the unfinished extension.
44:56Access to the new kitchen garden is now seamless providing a space for the
45:01family to eat and enjoy together. Rafi has his own bathroom with rise and fall
45:07sink and bath leading to a brand new bedroom complete with hospital-grade
45:11hoist but keeping the touches that make it a perfect room for a young lad.
45:18Upstairs for the first time in over a year Dean and Laura have their own bedroom
45:24a quiet sanctuary and place to relax. Across the hall Sienna has a bedroom to
45:30herself again and for a world champion dancer a world champion dance studio
45:36with ample space for Dean's music equipment. But will our work get a gold
45:41medal and allow Rafi to stay at home. Let yourself in.
45:45Absolutely stunning. Look at this. This is just everything we need. I can see myself cooking.
45:59No, I love it. I love it so much. So much.
46:04It's beautiful. I love that he can just go through as well. There's no...
46:09No wall. Yeah. It's so light. For Gabi bringing light into this building was a really important thing.
46:18Look at the pictures on the wall. Look at this.
46:22Look at this.
46:23I've just seen him stood up there. That's not...
46:30Is it the picture of him standing? Yeah. Yeah.
46:33Thankfully he looks into his sister's eyes like that now.
46:36But he hasn't stood. Yeah. He will. He will.
46:41When I came to physio with you, he stood with the help of the rack.
46:43He did. Yeah.
46:45So he's getting there, isn't he? Absolutely.
46:49What's this?
46:50Will you give it a pull?
46:53I've just got all his trains and stuff.
46:55When I came to visit, there was a box of his toys that were a horrible reminder of the toys that he's not playing with anymore.
47:02Yeah. Here they are, for whenever he's ready for them.
47:05Yeah. What a wonderful idea. Love it.
47:08I love everything about it.
47:13Oh, my days. It's a rainbow bedroom.
47:16He will love it.
47:19Perfect. Perfect.
47:22Look how cosy his bed looks.
47:24It doesn't look like a hospital bed, does it?
47:26No.
47:27The hoist.
47:29The hoist.
47:30This was the hoist.
47:31Yeah, exactly.
47:32Just grab it and pull it towards us.
47:37It covers the whole room.
47:38So you can pick him up and move him to a chair, move him to his bed.
47:42And there's no equipment out.
47:43Yeah, there's no equipment out yet.
47:45There's actually places for the equipment to go.
47:47Yeah.
47:48If you follow me over here, I'm going to drag this through.
47:53Ah, this night. Come, come, come.
47:54I love this.
47:59Absolutely stunning.
48:01Absolutely incredible.
48:02Look at this.
48:04Rise of the full bath, rise of the full sink.
48:06I cannot get my head around this.
48:07I absolutely love it.
48:08It's everything we could have ever wanted and so much more.
48:14Upstairs had become a space dominated by reminders of the past,
48:18when it should be a place to relax and recharge.
48:21I love the doors.
48:22The doors are beautiful.
48:24But look at this room.
48:26Look at this.
48:28You've got a little seating area.
48:30This is just absolutely incredible.
48:32It's such a grown-up space.
48:34Every room's got the right feel, hasn't it?
48:36Yes.
48:37The doors were multipurpose and so there was nowhere where you had any respites.
48:41Yeah.
48:42And now we've got a bedroom again.
48:44I'll read here as well.
48:45I haven't read since Rafi got poorly.
48:47Yeah.
48:48It's going to take some time, isn't it, to realise that this is ours and the battle is over.
48:55You fought and fought and fought and held on long enough until the community could come and do this.
49:01This is it now.
49:02Yeah.
49:03You have actually won.
49:05Yeah.
49:06It's pure relief.
49:09I just can't wait for the kids to see it.
49:11Shall we go get the kids and show them?
49:12Yeah.
49:13Yeah.
49:14Yes, please.
49:15Have you got this ramp, Raf?
49:19Look.
49:20That's easier, isn't it, Rafs?
49:22Yeah.
49:23Shall we show you, Raf?
49:25Let's get that door open.
49:26Is it a bit different?
49:29Look at this.
49:30Is it a bit different?
49:36Rafi?
49:37Would you like to see your new bedroom?
49:39Yeah.
49:40OK.
49:42On you go.
49:48Look at this.
49:50And here is your rainbow bedroom, Raf.
49:52Do you like it?
49:53Do you like it?
49:54Do you like it?
49:55Do you like it?
49:56Do you like it?
49:57Yes.
49:58Happy, happy.
49:59Do you love it?
50:00Yeah.
50:01Everything you need, Raf?
50:02I think Rafi approves.
50:03Do you want to show me the new bathroom?
50:04Absolutely.
50:05Look at this, Raf.
50:06Do you see all your flags around the room?
50:07Yeah.
50:08You've seen a child happier.
50:09What's your favourite?
50:10What's your favourite?
50:11Do you like it?
50:12Do you like it?
50:13Do you like it?
50:14Yeah.
50:15The bedroom?
50:16The bedroom?
50:17The bedroom?
50:18Yeah.
50:19The bedroom?
50:20The bedroom?
50:21The rainbow bedroom.
50:22Look at that.
50:23Rafi isn't the only one getting a brand new bedroom.
50:24Now, we've changed things around a bit.
50:25Oh!
50:26It's a new bedroom.
50:27Oh, yeah.
50:28Wow.
50:29Look at this Rafi.
50:30Can you see all your flags around the room?
50:32Yeah.
50:34You've seen a child happier.
50:37What's your favourite?
50:39The bedroom or the bathroom?
50:41Yeah.
50:42The bedroom.
50:43The rainbow bedroom.
50:44Look at that.
50:46Rafi isn't the only one getting a brand new bedroom.
50:49Now, we've changed things around a bit.
50:51Oh!
50:54Whoa! I love it.
51:01You're not sleeping on a mattress on the floor in the corner now.
51:05It's OK.
51:14Happy tears. Not sad tears.
51:16Do you want to have a good? It's your bed.
51:18Yeah.
51:19It's really grown up.
51:21Yeah.
51:22I really like it.
51:24So that's it, then. We've done...
51:25Oh, hang on. There's one other room, isn't there?
51:28Oh, yeah.
51:34Wow.
51:36That is so nice.
51:39Ooh.
51:41What about the mirrors?
51:44They are so much better than the other ones.
51:46They are so much better.
51:48I love it.
51:54You deserve it because you have been amazing.
51:58You've been the best sister.
52:00So you deserve absolutely everything and so much more.
52:05I need one last thing from you to help me out.
52:08You need to go downstairs.
52:10Send Dean up here.
52:11Yeah.
52:12But don't tell him why.
52:13OK.
52:14With so much of Dean's time dedicated to Rafi's physio, I had to find a way of bringing music back into his life.
52:21Oh, here he comes.
52:23Wow.
52:24Look at this.
52:27This is Sienna's dance studio.
52:32Yeah.
52:33But we had this little nook.
52:34This set up is just so lovely and tucked away.
52:38And when I said to you, you need to look after yourself, and you said, thanks, but I probably won't.
52:43Yeah.
52:44And seeing that, I couldn't not, you know.
52:47What did you say to me?
52:48He's all right as long as I'm around.
52:50Yeah.
52:51I did say that, yeah.
52:52So you've got to be around.
52:53Yeah.
52:54Oh, we'll take you downstairs and show you the back garden.
52:58It was almost impossible to do anything with because it's like half a metre lower.
53:01No, no.
53:02But we'll show you it anyway.
53:03Come on.
53:04Look.
53:05Stunning.
53:06Look at this.
53:07Yeah.
53:08Look at this.
53:09You've got a living vertical herb wall.
53:22Basically, all of those herbs and things, you're going to be able to pick and put into smoothies.
53:25Seal this, Rafi.
53:26Seal these plants.
53:27It's all going to go in your tummy.
53:29You love it, don't you?
53:32Do you have a seat?
53:34Yes.
53:35I was expecting like a ramp or something and it was flat.
53:40It was big engineering.
53:42Couldn't ask for more.
53:43It is literally the perfect home for us.
53:46What do you think of this, Rafi?
53:51Good boy.
53:52Thank you for letting us come and play in your house.
53:55It's a really good boy.
53:57Nice burp.
53:59But rebuilding this house for Rafi, Sienna, Laura and Dean wouldn't have happened without
54:06our amazing team of volunteers.
54:09Shall we go and say hello to my friends?
54:24Yeah.
54:25Good.
54:26Let's go.
54:27Yeah.
54:28All right, everyone.
54:29Ready?
54:30Go then.
54:31Go then.
54:32Go then.
54:33Go then.
54:34Go then.
54:35Go then.
54:36Go then.
54:37That's a big hat, isn't it?
54:50he has signed thank you about four times the quality of the work in there is unbelievable
55:02but that is stunning and it has been built with love and we can feel that but more importantly
55:07is the the quality of the people that done it and you guys are just you know the best
55:20um we've got everything we want and need in it and beyond it is just utterly phenomenal so
55:30sierra what is the best part of the house the garden the living room the bathroom the rainbow bedroom
55:50how does life look now going forward you know for once exciting i mean not only he's got above and
55:58beyond what he needs we'll be able to stay home he's good he's with us we got we got happy home
56:20what a bunch of people you know the world is full of more good people than bad people they're just
56:25not the ones with the megaphone your medals and trophies you know she spent like two hours hanging
56:33them all up and we always make a promise to her family we're going to do this but it was quite
56:37of a heavier duty promise this time around because if we didn't deliver on that promise then that
56:45little boy doesn't get to stay at home and it's clear that his rehab here is is working and it's
56:52working because he's with his family with the people that love him and that he loves and then
56:59now possibilities are endless all because of these people putting in the time to make the difference
