00:01Previously...
00:03Wow.
00:04We're really here.
00:0619 celebrities arrived to play the ultimate murder mystery.
00:11This is life or death, isn't it?
00:13All in the hope of winning up to £100,000 for their chosen charity.
00:18Something.
00:19Something is afoot.
00:20But they quickly learnt that in this game...
00:23Oh, God. Oh, no, they're all our names.
00:25There is no special treatment.
00:28Oh, God, it's disgusting.
00:30I have a shield. I have a shield.
00:32I've got a shield.
00:33Shield!
00:34Three traitors were chosen.
00:39What am I gonna do?
00:41And an epic first mission...
00:44I've locked it in and I didn't mean to.
00:46...put players in the firing line.
00:50Claire pulling that lever is exactly what a traitor would do.
00:54Suspicions intensified...
00:56I am suspicious of Kate a little bit.
00:58With her shield, I don't think she ever, like, really had it out on show that much.
01:01No, she didn't.
01:02She didn't.
01:03Nico, I think.
01:04Something about the way he looked at her body, but then...
01:06He was looking quite intense here.
01:07He was looking tense.
01:08And the traitors took on a treacherous task.
01:11Tonight, you must murder in plain sight.
01:13Wrap your hands with the poison pollen and touch the face of the faithful you want to murder.
01:20Oh, God.
01:21But who will be the first to be murdered?
01:24This is the Celebrity Traitors.
01:27Tonight, they will choose who they're gonna kill.
01:34Made more difficult by today's great effort.
01:36Yeah.
01:37God, this is quite hellish.
01:38This is quite scary.
01:39This is scary.
01:40I've got this poison pollen on my hands, but...
01:41I don't know who...
01:42I don't know who...
01:43I don't know who...
01:44What happens in the shadows...
01:45What happens in the shadows...
01:46What happens in the shadows...
01:47No one has to know...
01:48Tonight, they will choose who they're gonna kill.
01:50And finally, they will be used to kill.
01:51I don't know who they're gonna kill.
01:52Oh, I know.
01:53Do you want another cuppa?
01:54Oh, I might grab one in a minute, actually.
01:55I'm gonna come for a cuppa.
01:56Come and have a cuppa.
01:57Bye.
01:58Oh, hello.
01:59L.C.
02:02Oh, hello.
02:03Does anyone want another cuppa?
02:04Oh, I might grab one in a minute, actually.
02:06Come and have a cuppa.
02:07Bye.
02:09Do you want to come for a cuppa?
02:14You want to come for a cuppa?
02:17Bye.
02:18Bye.
02:19I don't trust any of them.
02:21No, me neither.
02:25Oh, my God.
02:26I definitely trust you.
02:29Well, I trust you.
02:32There's something in the shadow.
02:36Claire's the biggest threat,
02:37because she's one of the most intelligent, probably.
02:41Yeah.
02:42I'm really up against the clock.
02:45How am I going to touch someone's face?
02:49I'm just going to hand out my desserts.
03:04I'll go to the fire pit.
03:05Did he get that thing?
03:07Oh, God, he's out there.
03:07Why is he out there?
03:09Now, this is nice.
03:10Guys, look, I made us a little...
03:12Oh, my God!
03:14The French cano.
03:16Lovely warmth.
03:17I really...
03:18I'm going to...
03:19I'm going to...
03:20Alan tipped me the wink.
03:25I might have to talk to him about keeping it on the lowdown.
03:29I'm not sure who he's killed yet,
03:30but either way, the deed is done.
03:33Look at that.
03:34I've got a button on top of a marshmallow.
03:36Who would have thought of such a delicacy?
03:38Off I go, my darlings.
03:50And let me pray that I will see you all in the morning.
03:54I'm telling you.
03:55Yeah.
03:55Me, Nathan.
03:57Me too.
03:58Daniel?
03:58Yeah.
03:59Oh, God, it's too much.
04:01I hope I'll see you tomorrow.
04:02Yeah.
04:03I hope I see you too.
04:08I hope they don't kill me.
04:12Yes.
04:12Good night, my love.
04:14Lots of love.
04:15Bye-bye.
04:15Night, darling.
04:17If I die tonight, goodbye.
04:20I adore you all.
04:22I love you.
04:22I love you.
04:22With the faithful departed unaware that a murder in plain sight has taken place,
04:40it's time for the traitors to meet to reflect on their first kill.
04:45Oh, I am a bad person.
04:59Well, what a day.
05:00You're not a bad person.
05:02You're a good traitor.
05:04Who was it?
05:12I'm just going to hand out my desserts.
05:14We'll follow behind.
05:16We'll come soon.
05:18Look what I made.
05:19I made this earlier.
05:20It looks strange.
05:23You've got a bit of hair in your face.
05:25I'm like that.
05:26Yeah, there you go.
05:27It's gone.
05:28Fabulous, darling.
05:35Oh, no.
05:37Oh, my God.
05:38Lovely palomaphy.
05:40I feel awful.
05:41I didn't know what else to do.
05:45I've gone and murdered one of my best friends.
05:48I thought, shall I do it?
05:50Because I really like her.
05:51But I thought, I'm never going to get the opportunity.
05:54It broke my heart.
05:56You've got to toughen up.
05:57I don't want to hear any more of this broken heart nonsense.
05:59I know.
06:00What are you?
06:00What are you?
06:01I'm a traitor.
06:02What are you?
06:02Traitor.
06:03We've got to start enjoying this.
06:04Yeah, we do.
06:06It's going to be hard seeing Paloma's face at breakfast tomorrow.
06:10But Alan has executed that perfectly.
06:14One faithful.
06:15Down.
06:16Well done.
06:16The deed is done.
06:29Last night, the traitors murdered Paloma in plain sight.
06:33However, unbeknownst to the faithful, everyone will turn up to breakfast,
06:38as the poisonous pollen is yet to take its deadly effect.
06:41Oh, cinnamon, where are you going to run to?
06:46Cinnamon, where are you going to run to?
06:56Oh, wow.
06:57Are we the first?
06:58We're the first ones.
06:59Oh, I have survived.
07:01This is an incredible feeling.
07:02I did not sleep well last night because I thought I might get killed.
07:05Now I can take a deep sigh of relief and just enjoy the day and study everyone.
07:10Joe and I had shields, but you guys must be feeling amazing.
07:14Oh, God, yeah.
07:15Now you can actually eat.
07:17Yeah.
07:17Because you're relief.
07:18We can, like, breathe now.
07:20It was really scary walking into breakfast because you have to play dumb,
07:24but not too dumb.
07:26So it's a real juggling act.
07:29This is all free, right?
07:30Leave a pound.
07:31Charge you later, Joe.
07:32Who do we think might be dead?
07:34So the shields were...
07:36Celia, Joe Marler, you, me, and Jonathan.
07:40We know it won't be.
07:42Oh, my God.
07:43Hello.
07:43Come in.
07:44Oh, my God.
07:44Oh, my God.
07:44Oh, my God.
07:45Hi.
07:46Yeah.
07:46Yeah.
07:46Yeah.
07:47Yeah.
07:47Yeah.
07:47Yeah.
07:47Yeah.
07:48Yeah.
07:48Yeah.
07:48Yeah.
07:49Yeah.
07:49Yeah.
07:50Yeah.
07:54Good morning.
07:56I was nervous to see if I made it, you know, to breakfast.
08:00You know, it'd be pretty terrible going on an all-inclusive to the Traitor's Castle,
08:04and then you don't even get a croissant out of it.
08:07The tension of waiting is just horrendous.
08:12Horrible.
08:13Horrible.
08:14I first go through the door.
08:15Oh, my God, you're still alive.
08:17You haven't been murdered.
08:19And, of course, I know none of them have been murdered.
08:20But at the minute, I'm just going to carry on what I'm doing, being super friendly, being
08:26a little bit, oh, quite divvery.
08:28I can't wait to be murdered.
08:30Just take that Ming-in photo down.
08:32Why was I staring in the sun?
08:35I think you look strangely sexy in that.
08:37Oh, thank you.
08:38Emphasis on strange.
08:42Who's not here yet?
08:45It's kind of weird at the breakfast, because everyone's waiting for the end when they're
08:48going to see that someone's dead.
08:50And, of course, no one's gone.
08:52So, as long as we don't act any differently when the deed has been revealed, I think we're
08:57in the clear.
08:57So, it's actually quite a restful morning.
09:00Ruth, have you got any suspicions?
09:04Nothing solid.
09:06Who's in your...
09:07Will I give you a name and you give me a name?
09:09Okay, 3, 2, 1.
09:10Kate.
09:11Who?
09:12There's a lot of overacting.
09:15Pretty white.
09:16He was really different before and after.
09:18Do you think that there's a traitor in this room right now?
09:28The law of averages says it has to be.
09:30Almost don't look at the door.
09:32Yeah.
09:32Look at whoever goes the loudest.
09:35Oh, my God, it's...
09:36Yeah.
09:37Yeah.
09:39Put eyes on your love, please.
09:42Direct.
09:43Nice.
09:45Oh, so you have a sneaking off.
09:47That's my number one.
09:49It's mainly because of something I saw when they took the eye patches off.
09:53It was an overreaction to the word faithful.
09:56It was a real...
09:59It was that.
10:00Oh, hang on.
10:09Too well, too well, too well.
10:15You made it.
10:18Paloma.
10:19Paloma!
10:20Oh, my God.
10:24I was so happy and, like, relieved.
10:28It was really nice to see the reaction of everyone
10:30who was pleased to see you as well.
10:32And I thought, oh, thank goodness not to be the first one dead.
10:38I'm so happy to meet you.
10:40I'm so happy to see you.
10:42I didn't avoid eye contact with Paloma because I thought
10:45people are going to be looking for any sort of change
10:50in behaviours, so I just looked at her and I was just like,
10:54I'm so happy to see you.
10:56And she was like, I'm so happy to see you.
10:58Oh, God, I'm awful.
11:02Who's Missy?
11:03Nick.
11:04Lucy.
11:05Steven.
11:06And then Celia.
11:08Oh, my God.
11:13She's not Celia because she's got a ship.
11:15It's very unlikely to be Steven, so it's between Nick and Lucy.
11:18Yeah.
11:19No!
11:20No!
11:21No!
11:22Oh, God, I'm taking this way too seriously.
11:24No!
11:29Oh, knock on that door.
11:30Come on.
11:31Oh!
11:32Oh!
11:33Oh!
11:34Oh!
11:43That's everyone.
11:44That's everybody.
11:45That's everybody.
11:46Is it?
11:47Yeah.
11:52What in the...
11:53That's all of us!
11:54Oh, thank goodness.
11:58Hey, maybe someone was recruited.
12:00Maybe someone's been recruited.
12:04Hello.
12:05What?
12:06What?
12:07Obviously, I've murdered someone in plain sight and it's a slow-working poison, so I had to pretend,
12:13what?
12:14They're all down here?
12:15Yeah.
12:16But I thought someone was murdered.
12:18What happened?
12:19What happened?
12:20It was a stretch for my acting ability.
12:22I don't know how Meryl Streep does it.
12:24No one's been murdered.
12:27No, we're all alive!
12:30I feel like Kate was being a lot louder than usual.
12:33I just...
12:34I don't...
12:35I don't know.
12:36There's something...
12:37There's something a little bit off.
12:38I never thought I'd care this much.
12:40Because everyone was feeling so tired.
12:42Yeah.
12:43We were all building up to this horrible moment.
12:46Here we go.
12:47Here we go.
12:48Order!
12:49Oh, gosh.
12:50Good morning, players.
12:55Good morning.
12:56Good morning.
12:57Good morning, Claudia.
12:58Everyone is here, present and correct.
13:03It appears that nobody has died.
13:08But appearances can be deceptive.
13:15The traitors did strike for the first time.
13:20And yesterday, they murdered one of you in plain sight.
13:30Oh, no.
13:31No!
13:32What?
13:33In plain sight.
13:36What did I do?
13:37I knew it.
13:38How about...
13:39So whilst the murdered player sits amongst you all...
13:46By the end of today's mission, they will be dead.
13:50Oh, my goodness.
13:53So, enjoy your breakfast.
13:55Sure.
13:56If you can, then please put on your morning attire and meet me outside shortly.
14:03What the heck?
14:05Morning with a U, I think.
14:08Oh, I don't like this.
14:10That's quite a twist.
14:12That's quite a twist.
14:13Do you think somebody did something unusual?
14:16It would have had to have been unusual enough for it to feel risky, wouldn't it?
14:20Morning, Luce.
14:21How are you?
14:22I don't like this.
14:23I don't like it at all.
14:24Do you think we're set in here?
14:25Why don't we?
14:26Goodness gracious me.
14:27I bet you it's in a chapel.
14:28What do you mean?
14:29Oh, it's a morning wear.
14:30Yeah.
14:31Yeah, it's not morning attire.
14:32It's mourn, you know.
14:33How do you know?
14:34To mourn.
14:35It's M-O-U-R.
14:36How do you know?
14:37To mourn.
14:38It's M-O-U-R.
14:39Yeah, but Claudia didn't say it like that.
14:40She said, wear your morning attire.
14:41Yeah.
14:42Yeah.
14:43So it could be...
14:44But she didn't spell it?
14:45No.
14:46No.
14:47So how do you know?
14:48Stephen had the same idea and I'll believe Stephen.
14:49Because I actually...
14:50Yeah, actually.
14:51Fair enough.
14:52Yeah.
14:53Fair enough.
14:54Yeah.
14:55Yeah.
14:56So it could be...
14:57But she didn't spell it?
14:58No.
14:59No.
15:00So how do you know?
15:01Stephen had the same idea and I'll believe Stephen.
15:02Because I actually...
15:03Yeah, actually.
15:04Fair enough.
15:05LAUGHTER
15:10To actively murder someone you have to give them something or...
15:13We need to see who gets murdered and then work backwards
15:17and see what they were doing if they were acting weirdly if they had...
15:20Or who gave them that glass?
15:22I feel bad.
15:23I feel bad.
15:24But, you know, Rue, do you see Rue with the marshmallow?
15:26The marshmallow?
15:27She came round with the marshmallow.
15:28Well, no.
15:29No.
15:30That was...
15:31So that was my idea.
15:32We just brought it down to the fire.
15:33Do you remember that?
15:34Yeah, I'm just thinking.
15:35But you couldn't control who would he...
15:36No, no, no, no.
15:37No, no, no.
15:38I feel like I had so little, few interactions yesterday that I don't feel like I was got.
15:47Every single thing that happened yesterday could have been not.
15:50Who?
15:51Nico hugged me goodbye.
15:52Nico hugged you goodbye.
15:53Yeah, he was like, oh...
15:54Can I hug?
15:55My number one suspect.
15:56But isn't it obvious because that's what his whole career is built on?
15:57I suspect he's the kind of person who...
15:58Exactly.
15:59Yes, yes.
16:00So maybe it's too obvious, you mean.
16:01I mean, what else though?
16:02What else could it be?
16:03I'm not sure of anything.
16:04Yeah, and that's what they like to do to us.
16:06There are so many possibilities of what murder in plain sight might entail.
16:07Whether it could be to give you a letter or, oh, have a look at this book.
16:08What do you think it...
16:09You know, it could be anything.
16:10You're alright?
16:11You're alright?
16:12I'm trying to retrieve myself for the first banishing.
16:13I think you're okay.
16:14I don't think anybody thinks I'm a traitor, do they?
16:15Um, your name has come up.
16:16Oh, shut up.
16:17No, it has.
16:18Jonathan had briefly mentioned that it's what they like to do to us.
16:19What they like to do to us.
16:20There are so many possibilities of what murder in plain sight might entail.
16:22Whether it could be to give you a letter or, oh, have a look at this book.
16:25What do you think it...
16:26You know, it could be anything.
16:27You're alright?
16:28I'm trying to retrieve myself for the first banishing.
16:30I think you're okay.
16:31I don't think anybody thinks I'm a traitor, do they?
16:34Um, your name has come up.
16:35Oh, shut up.
16:36Jonathan had briefly mentioned that my name had come up and I was like, what?
16:42That's a traitor.
16:44It was, um, it was a surprise.
16:47Shall we say, yeah, that people like Nico, Lucy or David could fly under the radar really easily.
16:55Yeah.
16:56They're the little sweet ones.
16:57Yeah.
16:58Because you always think of a traitor of being this cunning killer.
17:01How are you guys good?
17:02Hello.
17:03Yeah, we're good.
17:04How are you?
17:05Great.
17:06I love the green.
17:07Oh, thank you.
17:08It's beautiful.
17:09Have you noticed anything weird either of you?
17:12It's...
17:13It's so hard to tell at this point because everyone worked so well together on their mission.
17:18Why have you noticed anything?
17:19No, I'm just retracing everything that happened, but one thing which I am thinking is very smart is now we're all thinking about this instead of who the traitors are.
17:33It's like, oh, okay, who's been murdered?
17:34Well, I don't know about you guys, but I am.
17:35Yeah, totally.
17:36Oh, that's interesting.
17:37I didn't see it from that perspective.
17:39Yeah.
17:40Yeah.
17:41Oh, goodness.
17:42Fearful stuff.
17:43Oh.
17:44Fearful stuff.
17:45Oh.
17:46Oh.
17:49Yeah.
17:50Staring the part there.
17:51Yeah.
17:52I wonder whether the traitors were also surprised when the person that they've chosen to murder walked in.
18:00I wish I was looking at Kate's face actually like, oh, wait, what? Why are they not dead? You know what I mean?
18:06Yeah.
18:07Yeah.
18:08Because it was straight away Kate went, oh, there must have been a recruitment. Like, to try and...
18:11People may think of me as just an athlete, when actually I like to think of myself as somebody that is very observant and can think about lots of things all at once.
18:21The clever ones.
18:23Oh, no.
18:26We wish.
18:27Somebody is dead now.
18:31I know.
18:32Walking around.
18:33Walking dead.
18:34Well, not...
18:35Can we be dead?
18:36You can't because you've got a shield and I've got a shield.
18:37I could.
18:38I didn't have a shield.
18:39Yeah.
18:40You could be dead.
18:41I could be dead.
18:42I'm on the inside.
18:43Please don't.
18:44Don't, don't, don't.
18:46Who do you trust?
18:47Charlotte, I trust.
18:48Yeah.
18:49Well, I don't, you see.
18:50Why?
18:51What?!
18:52She gave up her shield very quickly.
18:54That would be a very good move for a traitor because she doesn't need it anyway.
18:57But, can we just say, she is a very nice person.
18:59Maybe it was that.
19:00She's adorable!
19:01But that's the point, don't you see?
19:02Yeah, yeah, yeah, yes.
19:03And she's very bright and very quick.
19:05Yeah.
19:06And you have to be.
19:07I don't trust you, you see.
19:08What?!
19:09I'm sorry, Jo.
19:10You're very clever.
19:11You see, and you would be a very unlikely choice for a traitor because you're so adorable.
19:17I know.
19:18You do have to watch people very carefully.
19:21The traitors who are here are being so smart because I can't really tell.
19:27I'm beginning to suspect everyone.
19:29You are right, even though you're accusing me.
19:31But, yeah, if you're being really clever, you have to go ignore the people you think it might be and go the other way.
19:38And then I reckon you've got more chance.
19:40Exactly!
19:41I know, as I'm sat here surrounded by three traitors.
19:46I am in my day-to-day life very weak wills.
19:49I'm a sheep, but in this game I'd like to put my best foot forward and hunt down a traitor with such vigour that it frightens people.
19:59With the faithful still speculating about last night's murder in plain sight, the players must now come together for their next mission.
20:17But for poisoned Paloma, the end of her time is drawing near.
20:22We came out of the castle to see Claudia resplendent on horseback in front of a rather more worrying sight of three coffins.
20:42I was just, like, shocked.
20:48There's three coffins.
20:51Joe Marlott's not going to get in one of those, is he?
20:53It's all starting to feel a little bit real. We actually have murdered someone.
21:00Dearly beloved players, we are gathered here today to pay our respects to our first murdered faithful.
21:13A high-profile death deserves a high-profile funeral.
21:20You might be wondering why there are three coffins.
21:23All will be made clear.
21:26For one of you, death is incredibly close.
21:31Now follow me. We're going on a little walk.
21:34Oh, my God. It just feels very forbidding.
21:47Macabre, morbid, desperately gloomy.
21:51And we know that at the end of it, someone's not coming back with us.
21:54Wow. The heart is erasing.
22:02I don't usually get nervous.
22:04I'm starting to get a little bit shaky.
22:05I can't.
22:06My age.
22:35Oh, my God, that's really creepy.
22:48Oh, my God, that's really creepy.
23:02That was cheery.
23:03Players, welcome back to the graveyard.
23:09On day one, you dug your own graves.
23:14Today, our first murdered faithful will be laid to rest here.
23:21Players, your mission today is to correctly identify
23:25which faithful has been murdered by answering a series of clues.
23:31The clues will whittle down the potential victims to three.
23:38The murdered faithful and two other players,
23:42the traitors chose to lie alongside them just for fun.
23:48Oh. Oh, God.
23:51The traitors could have also chosen themselves to lie in the coffins.
23:58Oh.
23:59Celia, Kate, Joe Marler, Joe Wilkinson, and Jonathan,
24:07you have shields so you are safe.
24:11The rest of you, thoughts and prayers.
24:17Wow. Thanks.
24:18So, to clarify, you need to solve clues to work out which three players
24:25belong in these coffins.
24:27For each player you correctly identify,
24:31I will add £3,000 to the prize fund.
24:36That means a total of £9,000 is up for grabs today.
24:42But each time you request an additional clue,
24:45money will be deducted.
24:50I will now hand over to the choir for the first clue.
24:54You chase your goals with all your might
25:06Until you kicked the bucket out of sight
25:15Has any of the actors died?
25:17Because nobody here has kicked the bucket means...
25:19Yeah, several times.
25:20Yeah, died.
25:21Kicked the bucket out of sight.
25:23Might as in strength.
25:24Yeah, but Joe's got a...
25:26Oh.
25:27Yeah, but he's got a shield.
25:28He's got a shield.
25:30Do we want to hear a second clue just in case?
25:33I think we should, yeah.
25:34We're not definitive, are we?
25:35No.
25:36No.
25:37My strategy was to act like I didn't know the answers
25:41and I was as confused as the rest of the group.
25:44Okay, here is the second clue.
25:47But it does mean you'll lose £500.
25:57Ballot box.
25:58Ballot box.
25:59Oh, is it Nico?
26:00Oh, my goodness me.
26:01It's Nico.
26:02When it came out with the ballot box,
26:05I instantly knew it was Nico
26:07because he famously ran for London Mayor.
26:11Oh, my God.
26:13Oh.
26:14Are we agreed, everyone?
26:15Yes.
26:16Yeah.
26:17So, Nico, please lie in the coffin.
26:19It's the first time in a coffin.
26:20Oh, Nico.
26:21Oh, no.
26:24I can think of nothing worse than going out on the first murder.
26:28I just, I, like, now the fear level has gone up even more.
26:32My paranoia is spiralling.
26:34Nico, I can tell you that coffin does belong to you.
26:39Woo!
26:402,500 pounds banked.
26:45If we put Nico into one of the boxes, who we know that is heat on already,
26:52then it might be enough for one of them to say his name's come up.
26:56That's what people are like.
26:57They are second-guessing.
26:58So, I think that's a really good call.
26:59And they struggle to trust him because of the videos that he makes on YouTube.
27:02His name has come up a lot.
27:03Nico, I'm afraid your time with us may soon be over.
27:12Aww.
27:13When Nico got in that coffin, he actually looked quite sad,
27:17and that made me feel quite bad and a bit guilty.
27:20Onto the next coffin.
27:23You filled the airways with laughter and jest
27:30Completed your task.
27:33Now it's time to rest.
27:41It's laughter and jest.
27:43Alan's got a radio show.
27:44It's Airwaves.
27:45I did Radio 2 for years.
27:47I think it might be me.
27:48I've got a podcast and I've done Taskmaster.
27:51Oh, I haven't done that.
27:52I'm Task.
27:53I haven't done a task.
27:55I've had a Radio 4 series and I was on Taskmaster.
27:58It had the word tasking and airwaves.
28:02And I thought, could that be me?
28:05But Nick thought it was about him.
28:07And was the radio show a comedy?
28:10A comedy, yeah.
28:11Should we do second clue?
28:12I think we have to do second clue.
28:14Second clue.
28:15You would like a second clue?
28:17Yeah.
28:18Yeah.
28:19It's me.
28:20It's me.
28:21Yeah.
28:22At my horror, the next clue, Space Rocket, the Apollo 11,
28:25was brought out.
28:26And I was like, well, that's me.
28:30Oh, it's Nick.
28:31It is Nick.
28:33Of course it is Nick.
28:35Have you made your decision?
28:36Would you like another clue?
28:38I think we've made another clue.
28:39Yeah.
28:40You've made your decision?
28:41Who do you think this coffin belongs to?
28:44Mr Nick Mohammed.
28:45Nick.
28:46Nick Mohammed, please.
28:49it was horrible getting into the coffin and yeah I've never got into a coffin before obviously so
28:56it was just quite ominous and surreal if you get this correct you will bank 2500 pounds before I
29:07reveal if you guessed correctly I am going to show you the third clue it's pointing to the yellow
29:21oh yeah that's the whole of the verbal I've got nothing to do with but why a spaceship for Lucy
29:31Beaumont oh it's me then I wonder if I had a show called spaceman I've played at the Apollo it's me so
29:47it's Hull live at the Apollo I was on Taskmaster and I've got too late doesn't it Marta's too late
29:52well Nick yeah I can tell you that that is not your coffin it is not your time to die yet
30:02I'm so sorry the coffin was chosen for Lucy here's something though is it worth putting someone
30:15quieter like who like Lucy and then we can just say you are quiet Lucy you so far under the radar
30:22yeah oh yes I can't really compare the coffin to anything I've experienced before I once fell
30:31asleep in a wheelie bin it's about it's about it players by guessing incorrectly I'm afraid you
30:40haven't banked any money for this coffin I'm sorry I got it wrong but you just airways you in the coffin
30:49as well we should blame the traitors because they must have known and they could have stepped forward
30:52and steered us we knew that it was meant to be her but of course if we'd have intervened we'd have
30:57given ourselves away it's time to find out who the third and final coffin belongs to
31:04it said it was says the story is done but your words live on is it Charlotte I hope my story's not it
31:27it's still worth getting another clue isn't it yeah second thing the second clue for the final
31:35coffin here it comes good high it's a century is it you Paloma Centrillion's but me but Celia me
31:44and Stephen were in Centrillion's well it could be it could be black and white it could be Newcastle
31:50Newcastle yeah which could be me I'm from Newcastle and it looked like a Newcastle United Colors I was
31:56convinced it was me but I think we should get a third clue we think it's David but we want a third
32:01clue so you'd like a third clue yeah you'll lose another 500 pounds what is that hearts it's a heart
32:11like heart badges classes on the heart broken heart has anyone got a song called plaster on the heart
32:16love hurts like this and then you found your thing in the big smoke but you're alone I am London
32:29what's the stories done and a word still spoke but that is only love can hurt like this and that
32:36looks and Trinian Z it is me I think it's a saint Trinian's tie it has to be Paloma have you made your
32:43decision me Paloma yeah step forward I've no idea what's going on right now all I hear is the rain
32:57and my heart beating really really fast in my chest it might think it's wonderful it might not be you
33:04might not be you there's only one I feel so bad seeing Paloma get in the coffin I mean she actually
33:12looks at me and I look at her and she's like oh I'm like yeah I popped you in that coffin I can
33:18now reveal that the third coffin belongs to Paloma congratulations you banked two thousand pounds
33:30well done everyone you correctly guessed two players you've won four and a half thousand pounds for the
33:38prize fund but that's horrible though because that means one of the three are going I was terrified for
33:44whoever was getting murdered but there was a part of me that could just have a little sigh of relief
33:48because it wasn't gonna be me there is one last question to answer and it is a big one oh oh as a group
34:02you must now decide who of these three did the traitors murder in plain sight oh god if you guess
34:14correctly I will give you an extra four thousand pounds once you've decided you must place this wreath at
34:25the foot of their coffin you may start your discussion now okay vote vote put it to a vote
34:32right oh no that's the fairest way to do it we've no clue okay yeah yeah I think Ruth is right we should
34:38vote yeah okay hands up for Paloma I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place obviously I know the answer's
34:47Paloma but if I say it's Paloma then I'm gonna have heat on me one okay hands up for Lucy
34:58there's no point in taking a vote for Nika I think it's me though I do tell me who you're locking in
35:10Lucy Lucy thank you mark according to you Lucy has been murdered by the traitors if you are right
35:25four thousand pounds will be added to the prize pot but have you guessed the murder victim correctly
35:35we are about to find out this is really sad
36:05oh Paloma you were right that is flabbergasting
36:24it was Paloma
36:29Paloma is dead rest in peace don't ask me we love you Paloma what you know is true
36:48I thought I wasn't gonna get emotional but I feel really sad
36:54I love your precious heart oh my god goodbye sweet Paloma
37:00it's been really a wonderful experience I just wish it had been longer but I guess that just
37:07leaves me to say that this is now goodbye
37:11I'm feeling really sad actually truthfully she was such a joy
37:23our sunshine's gone would anybody like to say a few words
37:28Alan you knew her the best why don't you say something about her
37:31yeah oh well I think I think we're all gonna miss her really
37:37the biggest irony is for someone who was so full of life
37:41and then turned like this it just doesn't feel fitting
37:45it's been a dramatic day I have to tell you it might also be a dramatic night
38:00now get back to the castle I'll see you later
38:05Paloma I'm sorry we killed you it was absolutely nothing personal
38:15for you it was wrong time wrong place wrong game
38:20you Alan were really close to Paloma yeah so how are you feeling we really did have a bond then
38:36obviously you know I hate goodbyes at the best of time but what a goodbye you know I think Paloma's
38:42murder has thrown everyone off my scent I'm getting a lot of sympathy are you
38:48all right I know Paloma was close to you Paloma's murders my shield because
38:53people just think our Alan wouldn't do that to his good friend if you were a
38:59traitor right who's the least likely person to have killed Paloma someone
39:03she's close to yeah oh you're talking about Alan I'm talking about so you're
39:08suspicious of Alan right I'm just saying that's the least likely person to have
39:12killed yeah but it's also therefore something you have to consider yeah if a
39:18traitor's name comes up I will defend them as much as I can but not to my own
39:23detriment any thoughts I hate to say it but I think Claire and Kate Claire let me
39:35tell you about Kate I feel Kate is a traitor really Kate's a traitor I see it and I feel it I
39:41watched everybody to see people's reactions the person that I had in my head was Tamika oh
39:51that's interesting Tamika and Kate both sort of did our oh you know thing I'd already started my
39:58narrative about Tamika so I thought well that's that's that fits I just don't think I'm gonna go
40:05first no to the round table oh I'm gonna hide I'm gonna hide under the round table
40:10there's 18 of us now oh dear my gosh let's go in the um library or the bar maybe in the bar
40:27oh Paloma yeah it was really shocking wasn't it it was I feel like
40:36I have to defend myself properly now because I think there's now a lot of eyes
40:41on me yeah which is I mean the one thing which the traitors will do is plant seeds whoever is being
40:49brought up into the conversations continuously that's probably the traitors who have done that
40:56who can we put in the coffin who's gonna who everyone's gonna look at yeah and then I feel
41:01like that's where I was then put forward which is a bit of a problem but I think everyone's on
41:06tenderhooks you think yes I do I will see oh I just know it's that they've already crossed out my face oh my god they have I make you final oh that's awesome
41:25it'll be it'll be weird now without her yeah weirdest of all for Alan yeah he's lost his buddy
41:33taking out someone as big and loud and wonderful as Paloma that so that's a bold move and obviously
41:40Paloma and Alan I mean they are like the best mates but could it be Alan could Alan have actually done in
41:47Paloma straight off sent her home knowing that nobody would ever think he would do that
41:53let's go down the road that they have picked one of themselves to go in it wasn't Paloma I just
42:03can't see Lucy putting herself through that okay but that doesn't mean Nico is it just means that if we
42:09were going down that route you would choose he's very worried now who Nico because of that he's very
42:15worried now he's done a very good convincing on me that he absolutely isn't I do think putting yourself
42:22in the coffin is is a bit nuts at this point he does draw attention yeah yeah and he thought and he has a
42:30point if if I was a traitor I wouldn't I wouldn't put myself in there because you've got to keep a low
42:35no you just want to be in the middle personally I don't think Nico was a traitor I'm looking at
42:44someone who's hasn't really been accused yet so I've narrowed it down to myself or Tom I'm leaning
42:50towards Tom he's sweetness and light but he's diving in a but imagine that callously picking us off I'd watch
43:00that guys the thing is room for one more yeah absolutely come and take a seat pick the traitors
43:14off one by one that's what you got to do load them into a full sense of security and then bang
43:19get them yeah how are we feeling pretty good I want to avenge Paloma's death yeah yeah what's
43:26your feeling with Nicole I personally I don't feel like he's a traitor I sort of was looking at people
43:37who were kind of be like overcompensating and being super like exaggerated with just their responses to
43:45things go on well like Kate for example I said okay oh my gosh I flabbergasted like who uses that
43:55word you can't just call someone a traitor because they have a better vocabulary than you
44:01flabbergasted is like saying whoops a daisy is it not you know when you just get a vibe from someone
44:08I do think the roundtable might be a bit intense I I don't feel like I'm gonna have a problem
44:15uh writing a name on a board I'll keep Paloma in my heart let's do it for her yeah absolutely
44:22it's been a traumatic day as we laid poor Paloma to rest but now it's time for the faithful
44:38to avenge her murder as they gather at the roundtable and start the eternal debate who is a traitor get
44:48comfy it's time for the first banishment heading into the roundtable my heart is just in my mouth to
44:58be honest we've just seen Paloma murdered no one expected that so now you're thinking anyone could go
45:08people are coming for me there's no doubt about that but if you think I'm not ready for it you lost
45:14your mind I have no idea in which direction this roundtable is going to go when it's the first
45:20banishment you have to make a decision based off so little data so I just have to stick with what I
45:25think and hope that no one comes to me my game plan at the moment especially around the roundtable is to
45:33just lay low stay quiet just gonna fly under the radar we know how ruthless they are these
45:42dastardly traitors they're clever so we gotta find them
45:47players welcome back to the roundtable and your first banishment
46:02congratulations after today your prize fund currently stands at 19 and a half thousand pounds
46:12here's a thing one of the skills you need to be good at this game is to know when somebody is lying to
46:22you you are famous people lie to you all the time I love that show it's a great jacket
46:37I listened to that particular podcast twice
46:43lies so how on earth are you going to tell if somebody is lying to you
46:54let me tell you how this works whoever receives the most votes will be banished
47:02and will reveal if they're a traitor or a faithful as they leave the castle
47:08so then players for the first time the floor is yours
47:18can I start just by reiterating that we have to write a name down and we have very little to go
47:32on and that whatever name we write down it isn't because we dislike someone or we think they should
47:37leave the game the greatest detective there ever was Sherlock Holmes said it is a cardinal error
47:45to theorize without data and we have almost no data to go on we are as course of going on instinct
47:54I'm going to ask a question which sounds a bit sidebar but a couple of people have mentioned that
48:00my name is cropped up right in conversations if anybody has been part of those conversations
48:06can you say what came up because I feel like then that might help us to understand what people are thinking of
48:13I mentioned your name why did you think that because I think in I'll say the mission today
48:22specifically okay I didn't know whether your sort of larger response to Paloma's coffin being closed
48:32was an overcompensation or whether it was a genuine sort of well first of all I'm a massive ham
48:42that's the first thing so my reactions are always massively over the top about everything
48:47but genuinely I was flabbergasted and and I'll end up as well exactly the same thing when when we were
48:54here yeah we took the masks off yeah the overreaction wasn't to the word traitor from you it was to the
49:00word faithful when you went faith but it's exactly the same thing it's the it's the ha it's the ham
49:07it's the ham I am a ham I'm terrible ham yeah um I just have a question when we were doing the
49:13challenge a lot of people were very forthcoming with their shields and stuff I just didn't maybe
49:20I didn't hear you but I didn't notice you once offered up I didn't know that Charlotte offered it
49:27that's how out of it I was I actually didn't know you'd given it up I was in a blur but also isn't that
49:32evidence I'm a faithful it means that I was more keen to hang on to the shield one thing we might
49:39consider of course is that Claudia asked us all whether we wanted to be faithfuls or uh or traitors
49:45we might consider amongst ourselves who we think is the kind of person who would say yeah I'd love
49:49to be a traitor on that basis I felt and don't take this personally that Nico was the kind of
49:55person who might say I'd love to be a traitor okay well I'm actually glad that I've got this
50:00opportunity to speak and defend myself first off I am a faithful I actually asked to be a faithful
50:05as well but what I will say is today obviously rest in peace to Paloma but I believe that I've been
50:13set up I believe that when the traitors met up they were like well let's put Nico forward because Nico
50:20has come up in conversation and if he's in there he's going to get brought up at the table it's going
50:26to be a reason that's used against me but with that being said does anyone have any rebuttal as
50:31to why I would as a traitor put myself into the coffin where everyone's eyes would be on me
50:38I think there's a case of double and triple bluffs here yeah I mean and there's other reasons that I've
50:45been also thinking about you Nico and one of them being at the round table before and after you had
50:51an impeccable poker face yeah and you were like completely expressionless and that made me wonder
50:59Nico can I add something because yeah first of all I really like you and I really admire you as well
51:04um but I I also was someone who wrote your name early on for the same reason that Charlotte's just
51:09said and I thought there was a change in your behavior that's why I thought there was a chance
51:12and that's why I am one of the people who did mention your name all I can say because if I am a
51:17traitor why would I put myself into a coffin it doesn't make any sense at all it does feel risky
51:25extremely risky and I think like I mean the proof of that is in the fact that we're all talking about
51:31exactly yeah just actually in Nico's defense as far as you know being a traitor is concerned that jars in
51:40my head the changes in behavior that I've noticed for the person that I've observed over the last two
51:47days and it's really hard and I'm sorry but Tameka um when we came out of of of here the other night
51:55after the traitors had been chosen I thought I sensed a real change in your behavior you seemed quite uh
52:02withdrawn jittery and then today I watched when Claudia was pacing up and down those uh those coffins
52:11before she slammed Paloma's lid shut I didn't want to watch that I wanted to watch the crowd to see
52:17everybody's reaction your reaction didn't ring true for me it was it was a over the top today I was
52:25really shocked because I thought it was you Lucy and I really didn't want it to be you so when Claudia
52:31shut the coffin on Paloma I was genuinely shocked and then I was just trying to just think my way
52:38through it and I actually noticed you walk away and was looking back because it was almost as if
52:45you were looking at that's happening over there but what are other people looking at you separated
52:51yourself to look at everybody else on that because I want to know who the traitors are but it's very
52:58interesting you're talking about people's you know looking different I felt after the selection
53:05I felt that um yourself Kate had changed really yeah I'm sorry I absolutely promise you I'm a faithful
53:18let's uh let's imagine that we were traitors um what would inspire us to choose Paloma as our first
53:24victim well Paloma's own theory was that she was such a big character yes it's and it was shocking
53:30would you have said let's get Paloma because she's a big character I don't think I would I think I would
53:34have done something more closer to what Nico's describing I would have worked out who the heat
53:40was on yes in the first day and think who would who would easily be banished it's a it's a cruel touch of
53:47genius there it is I actually have a question for Alan
53:53you would have talked to Paloma the most was there anyone that she kind of openly suspected she had two
53:58names and I couldn't get them out she went if I die there's two names
54:07next thing you know she's shoved in her coffin and the thing's gone
54:10it was very frustrating can I say something I've hung we've hung around quite a lot and you've been
54:21really nervous about being murdered murdered yeah so I personally don't think it's you
54:29who do you think it is all right this hurts but I I was worried about Tom only because
54:37I was when I started this I thought who would I think would I'll be honest this is probably
54:43going to backfire but I thought you you and Paloma the two people if I was in control of this thing
54:49and that's the only reason I think is you that I've had no other proof like you Nico's come up a lot
54:56and I don't believe what's been put in front of me thank you um I feel like the evidence which
55:02I've given makes it quite clear that it's not me I personally believe that the decision is up to
55:08you and I respect that but if you if you do not think it's me do not vote for me because you could
55:14be killed next oh god players the time for talk is now over oh hell oh god please write down the name
55:25of the person you believe is a traitor
55:39are your names locked in yeah yeah thank you ruth we'll start with you who do you believe is a
55:58traitor and why about it for Kate I just found that your behavior changed and became slightly more
56:08animated anytime traitor talk came about
56:12Tameka I have voted for you Kate I'm just going by how you were reacting Alan I'm going for Nico
56:28um I've got to go for my friend who I lost today
56:35Mark I'm sorry Tameka but I'm going for you um just inconsistencies in behavior
56:41and over compensation enemy yeah Nico I've gone for Tom Daley the UK's golden boy might have a good
56:52traitor streak about him you could have definitely pulled off the whole master plan of setting me up
56:59so a vote count two for Kate one for Nico one for Tameka and one for Tom
57:07Kate who do you believe is a traitor and why I'm going to go for Tameka
57:15because I was very convinced by Nico that it wasn't Nico
57:21Joe Marlow didn't have a lot to go on so I went with my gut
57:26Nico
57:26Lucy I kept scribbling names out and Nico I've wrote your name down it's awful it's awful
57:39Kat
57:40um I vote for you Kate it just felt like in the mission today more sort of loudness could have
57:49been an overcompensation so a vote count three for Kate three for Nico two for Tameka one for Tom
58:02I'm very nervous the reality that I might be gone at the first round table is starting to set in
58:09my biggest fear I could be out the game they've got it so wrong this could go anyway Stephen who do you
58:23believe is a traitor and why
58:53do you
58:55do you
