00:00hey friends i'm stacy and this is gorgeously aging and today i'm going to do a makeup look

00:09for mature skin featuring this iris and romeo weekend skin this is a slightly tinted spf 50

00:17this product is gorgeous you guys i'll share some tips on maybe some adjustments you can make

00:23for makeup on mature skin with a lighter base and then accentuating your features with some bronzer

00:29maybe a little concealer and a subtle eyeshadow that gives the eyes a little lift i also am loving

00:35this lip combo i was cleaning out some of my bins and found a lip liner and lipstick that i think is

00:41absolutely beautiful for the fall for any time of year but i'm just loving this for the fall i've

00:46got a combination of both high-end and drugstore products in this video in an eyeshadow palette

00:52and an eyeshadow palette that you are going to love if you're interested keep on watching and today

00:58we're going to be testing the iris and romeo this is the weekend skin spf 50 plus vitamin c plus glow

01:06i've had this for a while i've used it a couple of times and i have really enjoyed it so i thought i

01:11would share it with you often i'll buy new things but i won't share them on my channel until i've had

01:16a chance to really test them out but i think there's so many of you that are really going to

01:20love this product for those of you brand new to my channel i am a 53 almost 54 year old master

01:26medical esthetician and i'm passionate about all things aging beautifully from the inside out

01:31including skincare advanced facial rejuvenation makeup lifestyle fashion so if that interests

01:43start out with a couple pumps of this i've already done my skincare including a sunscreen so i'm going

01:49to go in and just show you how this looks on the skin i will list all this and the colors i'm using

01:55in the description box below i like the texture of this it's not too runny but it does have a very

02:02nourishing rich moisturizing texture i'm going to use my bk beauty 101 brush you could certainly just

02:09use your fingers and just work this in now if you're using this as your primary sunscreen you

02:15definitely need to use more than what i've just used but i always like to use a sunscreen as part of

02:20my morning skincare routine and then layer another sunscreen over top if i'm using some type of

02:26foundation or sunscreen product that has a tint just so i have that extra sunscreen protection

02:33this has an absolutely beautiful finish it does not look heavy whatsoever on the skin it is nourishing

02:39moisturizing it has vitamin c and of course that spf 50 is wonderful for all skin but especially mature

02:46skin i think i'm going to take a couple more pumps to run this down my neck just to make sure everything

02:51blends and i get that extra spf on my neck as well this blends in beautifully i purchased this

03:01myself you guys most everything that i show you is stuff i purchased myself so this is not sponsored

03:07it wasn't sent to me i'm not in a contract to say anything specific about this product my opinions

03:13here are always a hundred percent honest i never want to misguide you guys into trying something

03:18that you won't like so for concealer today you guys i'm going to use the l'oreal paris this is the

03:23true match radiant serum concealer i really enjoy a serum concealer for the hydration it gives to the

03:28mature under eye so i'm just gonna brighten up the under eye with this and prep the eyelid

03:36and brighten up that eyelid as well and i'm going to use the bk beauty this is the a 506 brush

03:46of course you can use your fingers or a sponge whatever you have on hand i do enjoy both the bk

03:53beauty brushes and refer brushes those are my favorite two brush lines if you're looking for

03:59something more cost effective i really enjoy the sonia kashic brushes i think they're good quality and

04:05perform well and they're a really good price point i'm going to set my eyes with a little bit of the

04:10makeup by mario this is in the color two neutral light this is the surreal skin soft blur setting

04:16powder i'm going to take a little bit in the cap and then i'm using my bk beauty 110 brush

04:26and i'm just going to set down the eye area so it doesn't crease

04:30and just using the smallest amount of powder is all you need and then i like to go in with a sponge

04:38and just press it in this also removes any excess powder i think the key is to have as little powder

04:46as possible just to set that down and remove the shine around the eye now i'm going to go in with the

04:50makeup by mario this is the soft sculpt bronzing stick or shaping stick i have this in the color medium

05:00i'm just going to do a little contouring around the face

05:15if you have a short forehead you might not need forehead contouring i got quite a bit of forehead

05:21up there i'm going to go back to that bk beauty 101 brush and just pat this in with a stippling motion

05:29and pulling back towards the hairline around the perimeter of my forehead

05:35i do like the makeup by mario products i really haven't used anything by makeup by mario that i

05:41haven't liked i think this sculpting stick is a really good color and it blends in nicely nicely

05:47with not a lot of effort or tugging on the skin i do want to put a little bit of brightening on my chin

05:52here and just below my cheekbones of course i always like to hit this part of my forehead and

06:02down the bridge of my nose just lightly in the tip of my nose just for a little extra shaping and contour

06:10then i'm going to go in with this smaller variation of this larger this is the 101 and this one is the

06:16109 brush by bk beauty and i'm going to go in with this and just pat the serum concealer in

06:25this just is a way to create more shaping and emphasize the dark and light i don't know if i've

06:32ever told you but i've always been really big into art and so i am really aware of just light and dark

06:40and blending and contouring and and what contouring can do for the overall look just because i draw and

06:46paint and shading is so important in art so it's something that i do just because of that artist in

06:52me it's certainly like an extra step in the makeup routine but i think it's one that makes a difference

06:56i'm just going to pat this in first i don't want to completely erase this i want to kind of pat it in

07:05gently without completely removing it and then i'm going to go to this makeup by mario stick here

07:10this contour stick and i'm going to take just a little bit on a brush this brush i think i found this

07:17at tj maxx but i like the shape of it this is by laura mercier so if you get to tj maxx see if they

07:23have something or any any brand that has a shape like this it's slightly fluffy but it has an oblong

07:29shape and i'm just going to contour the nose we put that light down the center and i'm just going to

07:36kind of reinforce that with this bronzer shade this can definitely help slim a nose that's wide

07:44you can really do some nice shaping with nose contouring it's subtle but it's impactful

08:00and then i'm going to take a little bit more on this brush and give my eyes a little shape i am

08:04going to go over this with a little eyeshadow but if you're not one to wear eyeshadow if you just run a

08:10little bit of your bronzer above the natural crease it'll lift that eye that's a simple way to give

08:16the eyes a little contour without looking heavily made up so even if you wear minimal or no makeup

08:21you could still do just a little bit of this just for a little lift i'm going to take a little bit

08:25more of that powder and just very little dust that down just to set it set my nose and t-zone area

08:36i'm going to take the 111 brush this is a little bit bigger just take a tiniest bit of powder

08:45and just set the rest of my face especially the t-zone in the center of my face

08:49and what's left in the brush i'll just go over the cheeks and dust my forehead i think the amount of

08:57powder you use is really dependent on your skin type if you're more oily you may need a little bit

09:03more powder if you're dry you don't want to overly powder and if you're mature if you have mature

09:08skin you definitely want to be careful with how much powder you use i do like to go back in with

09:12a sponge after i powder and just make sure everything's blended now you could do your blush

09:20underneath the powder lately i've been doing it on top and it seems like it stays a little better so

09:24i'm going to go ahead and do that i'm going to take the round end or the butt end of a blender

09:29and pounce it into this cream blush this is by tower 28 i like to go high up on my cheeks and

09:38into the temples i just think that provides a little more lift this is a beautiful color i really do like

09:46it i'm going a little heavy with the blush because i feel like for me blush kind of wears off pretty

09:51quick so i want to make sure i have a nice layer this also adds a nice little sheen to the top of the

09:57cheekbones which i think is so pretty all right i'm going to go in with the danessa my ricks ground

10:02works palette this is such a versatile palette because it has kind of cream to powder formula

10:06and a powder formula beautiful colors i think they're so universally flattering and you can even

10:12use these for brows you can use them as eyeliner so you've got a lot of flexibility and versatility

10:18with this palette so i'm going to start out with this color here and just use a little more of a

10:23dense brush because this is that cream to powder formula and i'm just going to do a wash of color

10:29all over the whole lid just kind of pat it in you could use a little bit fluffier brush too i just

10:35like to use kind of something a little denser if you haven't tried anything by danessa myricks she has

10:41some absolutely beautiful makeup i'll share more of the stuff that i have in upcoming videos but she has

10:47some spectacular formulas and then i'm going to go into this warm color here since it's fall and i do like

10:52warm colors with a fluffier brush you could easily go into this one too which i will in just a second

10:57and i'm just going to warm up the outer b

11:04and then i'm going to dip into that powdery formula and i'm going to go into a smaller brush

11:08this one is the bk 211 bk beauty and i'm just going to go into that powder formula

11:17and drag this into the center of my eye

11:22and the same on the other side and we'll blend it in with a bigger brush in just a second here

11:33just starting to build up some shape i love warm colors this time of year i think they're

11:38so beautiful in the fall and i feel like warm colors can be worn by any eye color really

11:43i'm gonna use this angled brush and go into this color here just to fill in my brows a little bit

11:47i'm using the powder on this one you could certainly use the other one if you want it a little stronger

11:53but i'm going to go in kind of softly with this

11:59i love that it has a color that you could use for your brows it has various brown tones a black

12:06this kind of lighter tone that's a little taupey it doesn't have that like purpley undertone it's more

12:11neutral i am going to go over the brows with a little brow gel just because i think it picks up

12:16the natural hairs but we'll do that in a minute so i'm going to take this brush again this again was

12:20the bk beauty i think it's 211 yes and go into a little darker brown this is the powder formula

12:28and just a little bit more in this outer crease just to build dimension

12:32and that's going to tie into my lower lash line as well

12:40i was just watching a video on youtube that listed this palette as one of the best palettes of

12:44all time if i can find that video in my history i'll link it down below it was a makeup artist and

12:50she said this was one of the best of all time and yeah i was kind of excited i'm like i better break

12:56that out i haven't used it in a while so i'm going to blend all that i'm going to take some of this

13:03light shade the powder formula and just go into the inner corner brighten that up

13:12and then i'm going to take a small brush like this this one's by sonja kashik it comes in a brush

13:18set an eye brush set and i really do like the shape of this one so i'm going to start out with this warm

13:23color and i'm going to go under the lower lash line and then i'm going to switch to an angled brush

13:31and go into this darker brown and deepen up the lash line on the outer half

13:44the formula this is really easy to work with and you can see the softness of it just by of this formula

13:51just how i dip in there it's like that slightly creamy that kind of turns into a powder it's just

13:56a beautiful unique formula i'm just gonna kind of pull it up a little bit i definitely need some

14:03mascara looking kind of naked here i'm using the paradise big deal this is actually really great if

14:09you have fine sparse lashes i have like the tiniest little nubs for eyelashes and this works wonders

14:18i usually do wear falsies because i'm just used to that but maybe today i'll go without because

14:25this mascara does a good job i don't know i feel like i need to put on lashes because i'll feel kind

14:30of naked without them but if you're not used to lashes this is definitely a good mascara the formula

14:37the mascara is good but the wand itself i think is just so nice i love the bristles on this one then

14:43i'm going to use the milani stay put just because i have it right here and i haven't used it in a

14:46while but i have to sharpen it up a little bit i know tight lining isn't for everybody but i feel

14:51kind of incomplete if i don't tight line

14:59i feel like it just gives you better definition

15:02without a heavy upper liner and not that there's anything wrong with upper liner but if you're losing

15:08lid space this definitely helps creates definition without taking up too much lid space all right i think

15:14i'm going to put on some lashes and i'll be right back so lashes are on today i use my gorgeously you

15:19luxe lash this is the mix so there's assortment of sizes and i use the 12s and a 10 on the inside

15:26corner these are very natural looking they're very light and delicate so i'll list this down below this

15:32is my brand but if you want to check it out i will link that down in the description box below so i'm

15:37going to take my maybelline super fluff this is a great fiber brow gel that gives the brows a little

15:44bit of umph a little gel and a little more volume it's a little drier than some brow gels so if you

15:51have a lot of eyebrows and you need a more wet gel like consistency you may not like this one as much

15:58but if you're sparse on the brows and you like that fiber formula this is a tiny bit drier type of

16:04formula but it's really nice for picking up those little brow hairs if you don't have much for brows

16:10i'm going to go back into this palette on that bone color and just give the arch of my brow

16:19a little highlight there a little lift and just a touch more on this inside corner i always get a

16:25little dark there so this kind of brightens things up makes the eyes look a little more refreshed and

16:33awake and i just like that look especially with a matte color i think the shimmers are really nice

16:38but on mature skin sometimes as we get a little creepy on that inner eye it accentuates that creepiness

16:43so i tend to lean towards matte formulas i'm going to use the fenty beauty this is the traced out

16:50pencil lip liner and the color on this one is peanut butter i'm gonna sharpen this one up real quick

16:57i've been cleaning out all my makeup bins and i'm finding things i didn't even know i had so it's

17:01kind of nice to clean once in a while and just rediscover things that you really love that you

17:05just forgot you had around or you knew they were there but they're buried all right i'm gonna

17:10kind of slightly over line

17:33and i'm bringing this into the body of the look just a little bit i don't like a stark line i do like to

17:38kind of bring it down that's just my personal preference i think lip liner makes such a

17:45difference on aging lips because we lose lip definition

17:53see how improved the lips already look with a lip liner and in this area i follow the lips but then

17:59i also kind of connect it a little bit so it's a little plumper looking right at the cupid's bow

18:04and then i'm gonna use this ysl lipstick i'll list what this is down below i really can't read what

18:09it says on the bottom but this is sheer it's balmy it's hydrating but i think it works so well with

18:15that fenty beauty peanut butter lip liner and i think this is just cohesive with the colors i have

18:20on my eyes and just the overall fall look that i'm going for so i like this combo a lot i had forgotten

18:27how much i love that lip liner so this is the finished look you guys this is my natural hair

18:31sometimes i wear extensions sometimes i wear wigs but this is me all natural and my hair is flat

18:37because i just washed it today i always like it best on like the third day when it has a little

18:41more body to it i have to say i really do love how this product looks on mature skin again this is the

18:47iris and romeo weekend skin with spf 50. it is beautiful on the skin doesn't look heavily made up

18:54sinks in the skin almost like a skincare product and gives a tiny bit of tint i think once you add a

19:00little bronzer a little blush and maybe some concealer it brings the look all together and

19:04you look more made up without having a heavy foundation base i think this is one of the tricks

19:09to having beautiful makeup as we mature is finding the right base that makes the skin look beautiful

19:16and then you can add your blush and your lipstick and you're not looking too heavy and you're not
