Baby Loss Awareness at the Kelpies.
The annual event is held every year on October 15 and is the culmination of a week of events across the world to raise awareness of baby loss and supporting bereaved families. It culminates in the Global Wave of Light.
Those going to The Kelpies were able to join in by lighting candles to remember little ones who died too soon.
Helping to organise the event for the fourth year is Kellie Cunningham of Denny, along with Forth Valley SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Deaths).

00:00Thank you for listening.
00:30Thank you for listening.
01:00We are not alone. Together we create a wave of light that connects us all here, across the country and around the world as we remember our little ones.
01:08As we light our candles, let's take a quiet moment to think of all the babies who have touched our lives, those who have evoked in our hearts and memories.
01:17May their light continue to shine bright through us all and bring comfort to one another.
01:21We will now have some special readings in memory of our beautiful babies that have been taken to soon.
01:28First up, we have Megan and Ayla, sorry, remembering their baby daughter and sister, Mackenzie.
01:35The Wave of Light
01:41As I look down upon you, like a butterfly in flight, please light a candle for me, enjoying this wave of light.
01:49As a million candles flicker and groans across the lands, I wish that I could be with you, gently holding your loving hands.
01:55I know it's hard to understand why I had to go, and for you, each second, minute and hour goes by so very slowly.
02:04As the clock strikes seven, I hope that you will know that I will be thinking of you as you remember me and your candles glow.
02:11Fellers by Donna Ashworth
02:17I left you a little white feller, I placed it right there on your way.
02:21I wrapped it in love with a message to let you know you'll be okay.
02:24I drew you a colourful rainbow, it followed your car for a while.
02:27I made it a beautiful rainbow, I hoped it would help me show your smell.
02:32I threw down a beautiful robin, it landed right there on your ledge.
02:36I prayed he would give you the strength to push yourself back from the edge.
02:39I try every day to remind you that I never dug away.
02:43The fellers, the rainbows, the robins are my way of trying to stay.
02:57Next we have Holly remembering her baby sister, Abby.
03:09Look for me in rainbows.
03:15Time for me to go now, I won't say goodbye.
03:18Look for me in rainbows, way up in the sky.
03:21In the morning sunrise, when all the world is new.
03:23Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.
03:26Time for me to leave you, I won't say goodbye.
03:29Look for me in rainbows, high up in the sky.
03:32In the evening sunset, when all the world is through.
03:35Just look for me and love me, and I'll be close to you.
03:38It won't be forever, the day will come in then.
03:40My loving arms will hold you, when we meet again.
03:44Time for us to part now, we won't say goodbye.
03:46Look for me in rainbows, shining in the sky.
03:49Every week in moment, and all your whole life through.
03:52Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.
03:55Just wish me to be near you, and I'll be there with you.
03:58Thank you, Holly.
04:04We now welcome the Forth Valley Nurses Choir.
04:09It must have been cold air in my shadow, to never have sunlight on your face.
04:26You are content to let me shine.
04:34That's your way, you always walked a step behind.
04:41So I was the one with all the glory, but you were the one with all the strength.
04:58A beautiful face without a name, for so long.
05:09A beautiful smile to hide the veil.
05:15Did you ever know that you're my hero, and everything I would like to be?
05:31I can fly higher than a needle, to all the winds beneath my wings.
05:47You might have appeared to go unnoticed, but I've got it all here in my arms.
06:06I want you to know that you're my hero, and everything I wish I could.
06:36I can fly higher than a needle, to all the winds beneath my wings.
06:41I could fly higher than a needle, but you are the wind beneath my wings.
06:50If I love and try, you're my hero, and everything I wish I could.
07:06I wish I could be, oh, and I can fly higher than a needle, to all the winds beneath my wings.
07:25I can fly higher than a needle, to all the winds beneath my wings.
07:30The wind beneath my wings
07:44You, you, thank God for you
07:50The wind beneath my wings
07:58To have Bethany remembering her baby brother Archie
08:08For my brother, the star I never held
08:11When I was three, when silence filled the air
08:14A cradle waved me, so I'm there
08:17The world stood still, the skies turned pale
08:20And love began its equal trail
08:22You never breathed the morning light
08:25Not dreamed beneath the soft moon's sight
08:27Yet somehow even then I knew
08:29A part of me belonged to you
08:31Your name became a whispered prayer
08:33A thread of gold that's always there
08:35I see you in the silver rain
08:37And feel you when I laugh again
08:39You live in places eyes can't see
08:41In quiet corners deep in me
08:43A fleeting soul, so small, so true
08:47My heart still keeps a home for you
08:49I'm sixteen now, the years have flown
08:51And though I've grown, you've never grown
08:55But love like ours will never fade
08:57No matter how the time has played
08:59Though life moves on and seasons bend
09:01You are my brother without end
09:03Thank you, Bethany
09:05Welcome back to the Nurses Choir
09:09Thank you, Bethany

12:31The world's seen a bump, but I felt your life,
12:34seen a future filled with love,
12:36my hopes and dreams for you,
12:38my precious baby, you changed my life,
12:41then all too soon you'll come retaken.
12:44But with me you will always be a love of old that can never be taken. I see your face, I hear your life. My miracle so beautiful. Your mummy I'll always be. In my heart you'll always stay.
13:01Thank you Becky. Next we have Denise, remembering her baby twins Laura and Lucy.
13:21I think these words reflect what our babies would say to us all if they could.
13:26We have not turned our backs on you so there's no need to cry. We're watching you from heaven just beyond the morning sky.
13:36We've seen you almost fall apart when you could barely stand. We asked an angel to comfort you and watched her take your hand.
13:46She told us you are in more pain than we could ever be.
13:50She wiped her eyes and swallowed hard and gave your hand to me.
13:56Although you might not see or feel or touch or see us by your side.
14:02We whispered that we love you while we wiped each tear you cried.
14:06So please try not to ache for us. We will meet again one day. Beyond the dark and stormy sky, a rainbow lights its way.
14:15Thank you Denise.
14:25Next we have Claire remembering her son Leo.
14:28Still, still loved, still beautiful, still remembered, still forever my baby boom.
14:45Still, I waited for you to open those precious little eyes. Still, I waited for you to wrap your tiny finger around mine.
14:57Still, still loved, still beautiful, still remembered, still forever my baby boom.
15:04Still, I feel your presence when the world is quiet. Still, I hold you in my thoughts where time stands still.
15:10Still, I waited for you to open those precious little eyes.
15:11Still, my heart aches for you every day. Still, I wonder who you are.
15:12Still, do you look more like me or like your dad?
15:14Still, I dream of what life would be with you here. Still, still loved, still beautiful, still remembered, still forever my baby boom.
15:20Still loved, still beautiful, still remembered, still forever, my baby boy.
15:26Still, I feel your presence when the world is quiet.
15:30Still, I hold you in my thoughts where time stands still.
15:35Still, I whisper your name, Leo, when no one is near.
15:39Still, you are a part of everything I do.
15:42Still, still loved, still remembered, still beautiful, still forever, my baby boy.
15:49Still, the days move forward, but a piece of me stays behind.
15:54Still, I carry you in every breath, every heartbeat.
15:58Still, your love is woven through all that I am.
16:01Still, I am your mum.
16:04Still, still loved, still beautiful, still remembered, still forever, my baby boy.
16:11Still, I am known, and O my soul so pained.
16:33Troubles come, and my heart burdened here, then I'll sit and wait here in the silence, until you come and sit a while with me.
16:55You raise me up so I can stand on mountains, you raise me up to walk on stormy seas, I am strong when I am on your shoulders.
17:18You raise me up to more than I can be.
17:26There is no life, no life without its hunger.
17:45Each restless heart, each soul imperfectly.
17:53But when you come, and I am filled with wonder, sometimes I think I glimpse eternity.
18:07You raise me up so I can stand on mountains, you raise me up to walk on stormy seas.
18:23I am strong when I am on your shoulders.
18:31You raise me up to more than I can be.
18:38You raise me up to more than I can be.
18:45I am strong when I am on your shoulders.
18:48You raise me up to more than I can be.
18:53You raise me up to more than I can be.
18:57You raise me up to more than I can be.
19:01You raise me up to more than I am on your shoulders.
19:08You raise me up to more than I can be.
19:11You raise me up to more than I have been on your shoulders.
19:12You raise me up so I can stand on mountains, you raise me up to walk on stormy seas, I am strong when I am on your shoulders, you raise me up to more than I can be.
19:42You raise me up so I can stand on mountains, you raise me up to walk on stormy seas, I am strong when I am on your shoulders, you raise me up to more than I can be.
20:12You raise me up to more than I can be.
20:28You raise me up to more than I can be.
20:33You raise me up to more than I can be.
20:39Now unscripted in the programme, my son Lucas would like to sing Twinkle Twinkle for his sister Olivia.
20:55He's under no pressure at all but if anybody wants to join in and help him along if he gets a bit shy, that would be lovely.
21:02icorn genug running, little star, how I wonder what you are.
21:15A purple rock, a blue sky, a diamond in the sky, a pink little star, how I wonder what you are.
21:45Before we close, I'd just like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped to make this evening possible, to Colin for looking after our sound, and to our directors, we had a bit of a mishap with sound tonight, so we've got it all pulled together, so thanks to all of them.
22:01Thanks to the Nursery's Choir for singing again tonight, for Ruth for being our Interpretator, Brian who comes along every year to pipe for us in memory of his granddaughter Olivia, and finally thank you to each and every one of you for being here tonight.
22:15for sharing your love and your memories and your strength. We wish you a safe and peaceful journey home. May the light of our candles continue to bring comfort, warmth and hope in the days ahead. Thank you.
