00:00Really excellent. Probably the best all-round performance this season and really unlucky that we didn't come away with three points. I thought we were absolutely outstanding to a man.
00:12Was it a quieter afternoon than you expected? I think it was only two shots to manage Ontario.
00:16Yeah, definitely. But it just comes from hard work, really. I think from Keelan, Big Louie, midfielders, defence, everyone works so hard there.
00:29You see the results, you get a great point against Rangers at home and you don't give up many chances.
00:35So it's something we need to continue to do going forward and really build on that.
00:39Given the way they came into this, did you sense there was a real opportunity here to get a result against them?
00:44I don't know about that. I think that you're still playing against a team that's spent millions of pounds on players.
00:52And if you compare our budgets, the difference is astronomical.
00:56You know they have players, Gassima, that can hurt you. I thought Keelan was outstanding today up against them.
01:03It just shows you what hard work can do and belief. And I thought at times as well, we outplayed them, outpassed them, outfought them, outran them. I thought we were excellent.
01:13You didn't allow your head to drop either, Scott, when you had an early chance, you didn't really take, but the boys kept going.
01:19Yeah, I think it's really important. We've obviously been in that situation a few times now this season.
01:23So, you know, the boys now, you can see what they're made of.
01:29They've worked so hard over the last few years to get to this level.
01:33And now, days like today, they're really reaping the rewards and really, like I say, I'm lucky not to come away with three points here.
01:39You can easily put the focus on Rangers.
01:40They were a bit after today, but this is a result that shows that UCA takes a lot of effort from your side, a lot of organisation, a lot of everything that you guys had to work for this.
01:49Yeah, definitely. I think, as much as you can say that, we didn't let them play.
01:55We were right in their faces from the first minute.
01:57We didn't give them time.
01:58We fought.
02:00We battled with them all over the pitch.
02:02And whatever they come with, whatever attitude, it's about us getting towards them and really putting pressure and letting them feel us in the game.
02:13What kind of performance do they do for the season going forward, for the season?
02:19It could be a real springboard, yeah, and it should be.
02:21We can take a lot of confidence.
02:23I think every game we've sort of learned something different every game.
02:29We've tried to, look, we've been in every game apart from Hearts at Pincastle when we can see that we weren't on it.
02:38So we've took a little bit from each game.
02:40We've learned a little bit from each game.
02:41And I think now you see that that's the standard.
02:43That's what it needs to be.
02:44And it shows you what you can do with pure running ability, pure hard work, pace, power.
02:51And we need to bring that into the next games.
02:53And like I said, we've learned from games before and we've brought it into the next games.
02:57So we need to continue to do that.
02:58So how happy are you with your time here at Falconer after making the move from Celtic?
03:03Yeah, I love it here.
03:05I love it.
03:05I love the club, the manager, the staff, the players.
03:09The dressing room's fantastic.
03:10You get a laugh, you get a bit of banter day-to-day and you kind of want to stay because there's always something going on.
03:17But it's also serious once you go out to the training field.
03:21But I think because as a footballer you're in, a lot of times there's not many days off.
03:27So to have that balance of, right, you're on the pitch, it's serious.
03:29And when you come off, you can have a bit of chat, you can have a laugh, you can play a bit of cards, whatever you want to do.
03:34But I love it here.
03:36I love it.
03:36I think we're working on something really good and we need to continue to do that.
03:41Have you got a bit of an issue there?
03:44See if Clarke talks about it openly.
03:45Have you got a wee eye on that maybe?
03:47It's not something I've ever really kept my eye on, to be honest with you.
03:50I think I'm playing well, I feel like I'm playing well at the minute, making saves, a number of saves, all-room game, the way we play.
04:01It takes a lot to play here.
04:03That's one thing.
04:05You have to be good with the ball at your feet, you have to make the right decisions, you have to make big saves at times.
04:09So I'm really enjoying that side of it and a big responsibility for the team.
04:15But all I can do is continue to do that here.
04:18It's not up to me.
04:20If I could have picked it, I'd be in it.
04:22But it's not up to me.
04:25We'll just see, see what happens.
04:27But all I can do is focus on here.
04:29You guys that are in the Scotland squad, obviously aren't starting and aren't getting game time.
04:33You are, if you continue to perform and get the game time here at Falkirk, do you think you can force yourself into the Steve Park squad?
04:42Maybe.
04:43That's all I can say, maybe.
04:44Like I said, it's not my decision.
04:48I'd already be in there.
04:49But it's a decision for the Scotland manager.
04:53And all I can do is continue to do what I'm doing here.
04:57I know there's another camp in another month.
05:00So you'll have a decision to make in another month.
05:02So we'll see where we are.
05:03What would it mean to you if you did?
05:04It'd be great.
05:06Like I'm on my own little sort of focused journey at the minute where I've come out and not playing for a long time.
05:12Playing one, two games a season for the last sort of three, maybe even four years.
05:18So I've just been taking it sort of day by day, game by game.
05:23And I think credit to the manager.
05:25It took me a while in pre-season to start to get my eye in and get going.
05:29He stuck by me and he put me in.
05:30And I think I'm just going into games and trying to sort of repay that faith that he had in me.
05:35He's seen something in me that he thought I could help the team.
05:39And I feel like I'm doing it.
