D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser warned the Fortune MPW Summit that ICE’s "unprecedented" immigration enforcement efforts are having a chilling effect on business.

00:21organized business chambers aren't talking about it impact being in DC specifically on business

00:27people aren't going to work because that's God because that's God because they're scared and I

00:35think that we're gonna see the tales of that for a long time whether we're talking about the

00:40restaurant industry or hospitality and tourism construction you name it but that's a larger

00:48issue and I think right now people are focused kind of downstream and we need to focus upstream

00:56on this issue how are we going to have reasonable immigration policies in our nation where people
