00:00Beatrice Peterson, ABC News. Mayor Bowser, I was wondering if you can talk a little
00:04bit about an estimate about how much this federal surge is costing. Is MPD
00:10doing overtime? Is there support from local agencies? How much money is being
00:16spent? We, MPD always does overtime and so I don't know that we're gonna have a
00:23distinction with this surge or not as it relates to MPD overtime. One benefit of
00:29the IMT, I'm setting up the operations center and I didn't get a chance to
00:34introduce Clint Osborne earlier who leads DCH-SEMA, but HSEMA acts as our incident
00:41command for this new structure and we are able to track expenses.
