00:00Races, they will win titles. They may even end up winning Le Mans. They are too good not to.
00:07Corvette Racing leads the overall team's trophy race ahead of our TxTF.
00:13And the Iron Dames just three points back in third spot.
00:17It is now not quite a formality, but Corvette Racing have a very strong lead.
00:23Benkiti, Nicky Katzberg and Nika Farroni again likewise ahead of Abedahati, Charlie Eastwood.
00:30And Michael Dynum. So it looks as though the title will go to the crew of the yellow Corvette.
00:35And the battle for second is on.
00:38Not quite sure I understand those points, but if that's correct, Benkiti and the Corvette team need four points to clinch the title in Monza.
00:46Or otherwise.
00:47It's a little more than writing their name on the top of the entry list, but they will be going for victory in the remaining three races of the championship.
00:54And to remind you, those are in Monza in July, late September at Fuji in Japan, and then in November in Bahrain.
01:04The season finale. Once more, the duel in the desert.
01:07Yes, we've had one back-to-back winner here at Le Mans on the podium already.
01:13That was Benkiti, one last year with TF Sports in GTE.
01:17And we're about to see another, and it's the team and one of the drivers with Algarpro Racing.
01:23Back-to-back wins in LMP2 Pro-Am.
01:25We'll welcome the team to the podium.
01:28They're going to form that three-squad staircase of talent.
01:34DKR Engineering in third place.
01:36They will come out first.
01:37The all-Belgian crew, all in Belgian colours.
01:41Great to see their reward after what was quite a trying race.
01:47Really quite hard work.
01:48The car didn't really seem like it wanted to play ball very often.
01:52The 43 crew pushed hard.
01:57Maxine Martin, familiar face.
02:02And I would give this crew livery of the race.
02:04Oh, great.
02:05It looked great, didn't it?
02:06It looked really good.
02:07Absolutely outstanding.
02:08The Michael Delaney quote on the front splitter,
02:10and of course the homage to the three great records at Le Mans on the tailwind.
02:18Cool racing.
02:20From Switzerland.
02:21Alexander Pliny, Milti Jakobsen, and Nico Lapierre, always a popular figure here.
02:28They don't need the team boss to go alongside the drivers,
02:31because the team boss is one of the drivers.
02:33Kenny Janklas, by the way, the team boss of DKR Engineering.
02:37They're going to build it.
02:38Tom van Rompuy, and on the left, Maxine Martin, add podium at Le Mans, two class wins and overall wins at Spa 24, where his father and uncle both won.
02:49This is the winning crew from Algar Pro Racing in the colours of Crowdstripe Racing.
02:54The team, as they operate in the Umbuds of others, Exports Car Championship, George Kurtz.
02:59Colin Brown, back for the first time since 2008.
03:02And Rolex to win every hour winner.
03:03Now Le Mans winner for the second time, James Allen.
03:06And Stewie Cox there, the team boss of Algar Pro, joint team boss of Algar Pro.
03:11You'd better sell it quickly.
03:13Second, second, almost most important person, Algar Pro.
03:17He's very happy to be up there.
03:19Isn't he?
03:19So gentle giant, Stewie.
03:21The Portuguese anthem for Algar Pro Racing.
03:27Of course, Stewie Cox knows that he's second to the car, the team, the mechanics, the pets, pretty much everything else.
03:35But he's up there receiving the trophy.
03:38And loving it, I'm sure.
03:42Goodyear caps on top of the heads of all of our podium.
03:45This is the class, together with the main LMP2 class, shot with Goodyear rubber.
03:53So the DECAL engineering crew taking third place in LMP2 Pro-Am.
04:01Easy for me to say after barely any time talking at all.
04:05Torrey Fousier, the vice president of the ACO, presenting the trophies to the crew of the 37 Cool Racing Organisation machine.
04:15Well, that's going together, aren't they, for this group.
04:20Nico Lapierre, the DEPACTO team manager, player manager, drives the car, organises the team, likes the theme tune, sing to the scene.
04:31It's the soldiers.
04:31And the vice president of the ACO, presenting the trophies to our LMP2 Pro-Am winners here in the Centenary Le Mans.
04:43And again, the familiar shape of the Le Mans trophy with the Centenary logo.
04:48And that will be very proudly displayed in Algarve Pro Racing's truck, office, or wherever, because you're never going to win one like that ever again.
05:00Well, they'll have the unique double picture on the wall.
05:05Sam Cox, the other co-owner, wife of Stewie, who was up on the podium last year.
05:11Stewie gets that opportunity this year.
05:14They work extremely hard.
05:16And have a very happy bunch of customers.
05:21International motorsport has not been easy over the last several years.
05:25They keep coming out winners.
05:31Nice guys do come out ahead.
05:33And actually, one of the things about this year's Le Mans, is that has significantly proved to be the case.
05:39In a paddock full of nice guys, Lady Luck chose some of the nice guys to be on the podium and to be on the top step.
05:49They lost out just by thousands, Algarve Pro at the Rolex 24.
05:54Fortunately, well, fortunately, Fairstreet, James Allen was the man that took that win away from them.
06:00George Kurtz finally gets the champagne cork out.
06:06And Stewie Cox gets face full of fizz.
06:09He's dressed for it.
06:10Dressed light for the weather and also for the champagne shower that he knew was coming.
06:15Cork goes into the crowd.
06:17And the final words, courtesy of our track speaker, Bruno Vandestique.
06:23Well done to him, to his co-commentators, Tom Abastia, and the English voice of Lamar, Chris McCarthy, who's kept the fans entertained and informed throughout the 24-hour race.
06:35So, yeah, pretty cool to come back and do one better.
06:39I mean, it's an incredible race.
06:41Super proud of these guys.
06:42It's such a good job driving with me.
06:44And, man, great team effort, great team work.
06:47And, wow, it's pretty cool.
06:48Really cool.
06:51Thank you, all the fans.
06:53Vive la France.
06:53That's how to smooth your exit out of the circuit today.
07:03Merci, au commissaire.
07:05Merci, au ventre.
07:07Vive la France.
07:09So, congratulations to everybody in all the 40 cars that finally made it across the line here at Le Mans.
07:17Congratulations to everybody who got it together to start.
07:23Really, really happy to be on the podium, says Maxime.
07:30Incredible to experience the atmosphere here with all these fans and to be here at the centenary race of Le Mans.
07:36It's a centenary of the 24-hour race in Le Mans.
07:38And it's also good to have a love with someone who, as we could hear, will soon be on the podium.
07:43It will soon be on the podium, and it will soon be on the podium, and it will soon be on the podium.
