കണ്ണൂർ തളിപ്പറമ്പിലുണ്ടായ തീപിടിത്തത്തിൽ കത്തിനശിച്ചത് 50 കടകൾ. വ്യാഴം വൈകിട്ട് 4.55ന് നഗരസഭാ ബസ്സ്റ്റാൻഡിനോട് ചേർന്നുള്ള ദേശീയപാതയിലെ ചെരിപ്പ് കട മാസ്ട്രോയിലാണ് ആദ്യം തീപിടിത്തം ഉണ്ടായത്. തുടർന്ന് ഷാലിമാർ സ്റ്റോറിലും ഫൺസിറ്റി, കളിപ്പാട്ട കടയിലും മൊബൈൽ ഷോപ്പിലും തീ പടർന്നു. ആളിപ്പടർന്ന തീ സമീപത്തെ മുഴുവൻ കടകളിലേക്കും വ്യാപിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. തക്കസമയത്ത് അഗ്നിരക്ഷാസേനയെത്തി തീയണക്കാൻ ശ്രമം തുടങ്ങിയതിനാൽ ആർക്കും ജീവഹാനി സംഭവിച്ചില്ല. | A massive fire in Thaliparamba, Kannur, destroyed around 50 shops. The blaze first broke out at the Maestro footwear shop near the municipal bus stand on the national highway around 4:55 p.m. on Thursday. It then spread to nearby stores, including Shalimar Stores, Fun City (a toy shop), and a mobile store. The flames quickly engulfed the surrounding shops. Fortunately, the timely intervention of the fire and rescue team helped prevent any loss of life.
