Government has agreed to appoint former West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo as Ambassador For Sport in Trinidad and Tobago.

Sports Minister Phillip Watts at today's post cabinet meeting said Bravo has distinguished himself as one of T&T's most celebrated sportsmen.

00:00He is internationally recognized as a premier cricketer, captain, and all-ronger, having represented the West Indies cricket team with distinction.
00:11In addition to his cricketing accomplishments, Mr. Bravo has also made significant cultural contributions through music and ambassadorship in promoting Trinidad and Tobago worldwide.
00:23Currently, Mr. Bravo is the head coach of the TKR team, and Mr. Bravo has also proven to be an international businessman who will bring much benefit to Trinidad and Tobago through this new role.
