00:00All of those guys in the bottom six you were talking about, with the exception of Minton, Scream,
00:05checking line, you know, sandpaper, it doesn't seem like there's a lot of offense expected out
00:10of the bottom six, and it also seems like if the Bruins are going to win games, you're going to
00:16be calling a lot of 2-1 and 1-0 contests. Yeah, that came up the other day too, and Cam Neely
00:22said, listen, we got to win games 2-1, and that's what we're going to try and do. You know, that puts
00:27a lot of pressure on your defense, a lot of pressure on your goaltending, but that's, you
00:31know, is, it should be a strength of this team in both of those regards. You know, one of the things
00:38that we did during the preseason, if you remember, if anybody was paying attention, the game in New
00:46York early on in the preseason, where the Bruins came from three goals down, and Mikey Asamont scored
00:51two of those goals and set up the other to tie that game, and they went on to win it in overtime.
00:57Beers and I interviewed Asamont after that win on our postgame, and he said he feels like
01:05he's got more offense in him than his previous teams have let him really showcase. He kind
01:10of feels like maybe he's been pigeonholed into being, you know, a third or fourth line guy
01:16and just a checking wing, and they don't really rely on him to score. He seems to think that
01:22he can do more of that, and so, you know, this will be his opportunity is, you know, on a team that will
01:29be needing everyone to chip in offensively as much as possible. He's going to get those
01:34opportunities, and Minton is a guy, as a center, who's not, you know, listen, he's not a top scoring
01:42guy at this point in his career, but I think they hope that he grows into that, and so maybe they, you know,
01:49the two of them together can kind of help each other in the offensive zone.
01:52you
