00:03Derbyshire police are appealing for witnesses after a woman died following a crash on the A61

00:08after she was seen walking along the busy route between Chesterfield and Dromfield.

00:12The incident took place on the Dromfield bypass yesterday,

00:16with Derbyshire police called to reports that a woman had been seen walking along the A61

00:20at around 10 past 5 in the morning. A police force spokesperson said,

00:24A short while later, just after 5.20am, a car collided with the woman on the northbound carriageway.

00:30The woman, in her 40s and from the Sheffield area, was taken to hospital.

00:35However, she died just before 1pm.

00:37Her family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

00:41Our thoughts are with them at this time.

00:43The driver of the Hyundai Ioniq stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries.

00:49No arrests have been made.

00:50Detectives from Derbyshire's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are asking anyone who was driving on the A61

00:56on either carriageway between 4.45am and 5.52am with dashcam footage to come forward and contact them.

01:18that has been established internationally as a company that introduced and popularised pre-mixed renders and plasters.

01:24Its latest site will be at New Stanton Park near Ilkeston,

01:27where around 100 skilled jobs will be created to support the production of approximately 300,000 tonnes a year

01:33of technical and traditional pre-mixed plasters and renders.

01:36The site used to be home to the giant Stanton Ironworks, which finally closed in 2007.

01:41The state-of-the-art production facilities at New Stanton Park will also include a 30,000-square-foot office building

01:48and an academy training space, with the factory further supported by 140,000 square feet of warehousing for supply chain distribution.
