00:00:00I need you, you, you
00:00:01I need you, you, you
00:00:04I need you, you, you
00:00:06In the morning
00:00:07When my soul goes high
00:00:10Sometimes I feel
00:00:15I feel a little satisfied
00:00:17When my baby's shoes play
00:00:20I never, never, never
00:00:21Have a place that I had in the end
00:00:30When my baby's shoes play
00:00:45I never, never, never
00:00:49I need you, you, you, you
00:00:52I need you, you, you, you
00:00:54I need you, you, you
00:00:57I need you
00:00:59Oh
00:01:23Victory left I know you're happy with that because everyone's like you're doing the quick step you can run
00:01:29Yes, I'm like great
00:01:33To get the legs going
00:01:35And you're literally the only person in strictly history not to be out of breath after a quick
00:01:42Oh, it was let me tell you it was absolutely excellent you
00:01:49You spoke at the beginning of the series about what hoping that you're your magnificent physique didn't hamper your
00:01:56Your stuff it doesn't at all in actual fact you've got a wonderful
00:02:01Natural hold you pick your arms up and everything settles beautifully your posture is
00:02:06Excellent as well, and you've worked you can see how much you've worked on control
00:02:10I'm happy for you to cut loose now. You've got the control bit. Let it go
00:02:15Enjoy yourself because I tell you that was an excellent job
00:02:18Oh
00:02:24There was some fortunately quite a bit of gapping going on that there where the body's come apart
00:02:30My pet hate your hands were all splayed
00:02:32Hands back. I felt like you were dancing a little bit too much underneath yourself
00:02:37I would like to see you fly and drive around the floor a little bit more, but you have the most amazing musicality and character
00:02:45outstanding
00:02:50I agree with Craig you have a beautiful personality on the dance floor a quick step is supposed to be light and rhythmical
00:02:57I got all of that if you're gonna make tiny tiny little mistakes. Don't do it in front of the judges
00:03:05But it was a bit of a footstep. I had a higher score, but this is much much better than last week
00:03:10Thank you
00:03:12It's only been a week
00:03:14Shirley, I want to say first of all you're dressed exquisitely for the quick steps
00:03:18Thank you for respecting me
00:03:19I do wear clothes, I promise you
00:03:21Wearing a nice tie beautiful shirt. You looked amazing
00:03:25It was certain parts of this I also was about to put in a higher score it got Karen a little bit
00:03:30He got a little bit out of sync with you not that he made mistakes
00:03:33He was just a little out of sync
00:03:34You'll see it when you play back some of your best work though Karen this was actually showing great promise
00:03:39Showing great promise
00:03:41It's got the possibility to go really far your personality of course as we know is great those pendulum swings that you do from side to side
00:03:49I'd let him loose now, you know if he can swing it more if he can shift more across the floor. Let him do it
00:03:56The five-litre engine is ready to go
00:03:58It's ready to go
00:03:59Just let loose
00:04:00They wanted to let loose Harry that was absolutely brilliant. Thank you. What a quick step
00:04:04Harry and Karen
00:04:05You've both looked quite shocked by those comments because you were worried about the ballroom weren't you I mean look look how I've lost my neck so I was scared that
00:04:12Craig was going to say I've got a neck and I'm not long enough and my frame is terrible and the quick step is just you know I felt like I was in space because I couldn't find the floor you're spinning around you're trying to drive you don't know where you're going but
00:04:22Karen do the great job steering the bus as we called it and I think I found my way it was a hard start to the week wasn't it?
00:04:29It was definitely a hard start because it's trying to put a brake on a stallion
00:04:32You know and I'm like dance like a crab sideways so it was it was tough you know he's a sprinter explosive
00:04:39Yeah, so here you had to hold him back a little bit if I let him loose you would never stop
00:04:43Yeah, I'd be like swinging
00:04:45Yeah, so it was it was tough you know he's a sprinter explosive
00:04:49Yeah, so here you had to hold him back a little bit if I let him loose you would never stop
00:04:53Yeah, so I was I'm so I'm literally emotional because I'm so proud I know how tough it was at the beginning but well done
00:05:08Thank you

00:05:57We've got both word and a noise
00:05:58Excellent
00:05:59I'm hungry
00:06:00Tess
00:06:01Mmm, I love chocolate
00:06:02After receiving the lowest score from our judges last week our next celebrity is going back to his roots
00:06:08Hoping to move up the leaderboard tonight with a waltz for Scotland
00:06:11It is Ross King and his partner Yvita
00:06:17The first live show was disappointing
00:06:20The little bit of confidence that I had, it has been knocked
00:06:24But you know what?
00:06:25I'm going to take on board everything that the judges suggested
00:06:28I really want to get better
00:06:30Good
00:06:31I know he's not happy with his performance
00:06:33But I am, I am beyond proud of my partner
00:06:37You
00:06:38This week we are doing the waltz
00:06:40Aww, I love this song
00:06:41To Sunshine on Leith by The Proclaimers
00:06:44You actually got a motion, aww, come on
00:06:47This is Loch Lomond, beautiful Loch Lomond
00:06:51I'm a very proud Scots person
00:06:53I had to move away for work
00:06:55But I could always see myself coming back
00:06:57Mmm
00:06:59It has a very special place in your heart
00:07:02Yeah
00:07:03Why is that?
00:07:04So many memories around here
00:07:06My school friends, sister Elaine
00:07:10Yeah, I think about my mum and dad
00:07:12When I'm here
00:07:14It is special isn't it?
00:07:15Yeah
00:07:16It's happy, it's a happy cry
00:07:18Yeah
00:07:19Oh, come on
00:07:20Yeah
00:07:21I feel so lucky to bring you Vita here
00:07:25This week dance
00:07:26Mm-hmm
00:07:27We're going to dedicate to Scotland
00:07:28I will be there by your side
00:07:30Oh, thank you
00:07:31Through all the dance
00:07:32Thank you
00:07:33The people of Scotland have been unbelievable
00:07:35All the support I've had
00:07:37Hopefully I'll do the country proud
00:07:39I'll do my best
00:07:40Oh, we'll be now home
00:07:46Dancing The Rocks
00:07:47Ross King
00:07:48And Yovita Prisca
00:08:01My heart was broken
00:08:04My heart was broken
00:08:09Sorrow
00:08:10Sorrow
00:08:11Sorrow
00:08:12Sorrow
00:08:13Sorrow
00:08:14Sorrow
00:08:16Sorrow
00:08:18My heart was broken
00:08:23My heart was broken
00:08:28I saw it
00:08:30You claimed it
00:08:32You touched it
00:08:35You saved it
00:08:38You trapped his brother
00:08:40With those tears
00:08:42Yes
00:08:43You've thrown it
00:08:46With those tears
00:08:47I'll be with you
00:08:52While the cheek
00:08:56In the sunshine on me
00:09:01The sunshine on leaves
00:09:06I'll thank him for his worth
00:09:11And your birth and my birth
00:09:16Yeah, yeah, yeah
00:09:31I know it means a lot to you
00:09:54You're getting emotional
00:09:55Yeah, I feel like I'm the kind of like the poster boy
00:09:59The poster older men for people who can't dance
00:10:02But want to dance
00:10:03And I hope people grow
00:10:05If I can do it
00:10:06So he's going to do himself proud
00:10:09Definitely, I mean, you know what?
00:10:12People should dance anyway
00:10:13It doesn't matter, it's a good feeling
00:10:15It doesn't matter how it looks like
00:10:17Here it matters, but in real life it doesn't matter
00:10:20So Ross, the thing is
00:10:23I feel like you are better
00:10:25More relaxed in the ballroom dances
00:10:28I feel like this week
00:10:29The smile that I saw on your face was a real joy
00:10:32You know, the smile that
00:10:33Okay, I'm doing the cha-cha
00:10:34I have to smile
00:10:35We need to work on musicality
00:10:38I think that was just a bit of an issue
00:10:41When is my slows?
00:10:42When do I have my rise and fall?
00:10:44It was a little bit cut short
00:10:45But you definitely feel much, much more comfortable
00:10:48Now with the ballroom dance
00:10:50So it's better than last week
00:10:51Thank you
00:10:52Kaveman?
00:10:53Shirley?
00:10:54Well, I'm the same as Marksy
00:10:56It was definitely better than last week
00:10:58And also what Tess said
00:10:59You know, we know how much this means to you
00:11:01You're going to have to, again, keep working on the posture
00:11:03Get that frame
00:11:04We do need a little bit of rise and fall
00:11:07Here and there
00:11:08When you started off, to me
00:11:09You look nervous
00:11:10But halfway through
00:11:12You're caught a look at this wonderful young lady here
00:11:15And you're lit up
00:11:17We need that from the beginning
00:11:18You know, to show that you absolutely love what you're doing
00:11:21Personality
00:11:22Is just as important as the quality moving on your feet
00:11:26So let's keep working it in the right direction
00:11:28But definitely better than last week
00:11:31Yes
00:11:31To our Gracie improvement
00:11:35Anton
00:11:36Well, you said
00:11:37I saw a VT of yours at the beginning of the series
00:11:39Where you said
00:11:40I'd be happy with most improved
00:11:41And let me tell you
00:11:42You are most improved
00:11:44I have to tell you
00:11:45That was super duper
00:11:48I'm really
00:11:48I'm really delighted for you
00:11:50Because that was a lovely performance
00:11:52And you can tell that your confidence was knocked
00:11:54So with a lack of confidence
00:11:55Comes hesitancy in your movement
00:11:58Because now you're worried about going wrong
00:11:59So you didn't go wrong
00:12:01And now moving forward
00:12:03What I'd like you to do
00:12:04Is be a bit more confident in movement
00:12:05Take bigger strides
00:12:06She's very talented, Yovita
00:12:08She'll shift
00:12:09Don't you worry about that
00:12:10You won't catch her
00:12:11So you can stride across the floor
00:12:13And with that
00:12:14You'll gain more confidence as well
00:12:17But all in all
00:12:18I thought that was a super performance
00:12:20Thank you
00:12:21Super comment so far
00:12:23Great
00:12:24It was too cautious
00:12:26And airing on the side
00:12:28Thank you
00:12:31Airing
00:12:32Airing on the side of dull for me
00:12:35I've got
00:12:35It lacked any movement across the floor
00:12:39It was very square
00:12:41There was no swing
00:12:42There was no sway
00:12:43But I'll tell you this, Ross
00:12:45I love the sentiment
00:12:47I love what you're trying to achieve in the dance
00:12:50And no matter what I say
00:12:52You need to keep going, darling
00:12:54You really do
00:12:54We all love what you've had to do tonight
00:12:59It's fantastic
00:13:00Thank you
00:13:00We all saw improvement
00:13:02That's what you wanted
00:13:03It was the most improved
00:13:04Thank you so much
00:13:05Congratulations
00:13:05Ross and Lovita
00:13:07Thank you so much
00:13:08I know it's been an emotional week
00:13:28And it was very important for you to do this for Scotland, wasn't it?
00:13:32It was
00:13:33And also because all my friends in the first week they said, we can't believe it
00:13:36You got a ten
00:13:38But it was a collective ten
00:13:39Not quite the ten that I needed
00:13:42Still a ten
00:13:42It's still a ten
00:13:43You thought that Ross would be more of a ballroom king
00:13:47Yeah, he loves a hill lead
00:13:49And in this one there's plenty of it
00:13:51So I think it suits him
00:13:53But also because it's, you know, like you
00:13:55He is such a gentleman
00:13:57He has that aura about him
00:14:00So I think like he feels really good when, you know, he's in touch
00:14:04Yes
00:14:05Absolutely
00:14:07You've danced guilt in a kilt before
00:14:09But this was, this was new doing it
00:14:11This was definitely very new
00:14:12Well, you were fantastic
00:14:13Good luck
00:14:14The scores are in
00:14:15Will the judges please reveal their scores?
00:14:18Craig Revelhall
00:14:19Two
00:14:20Motsi Mabuse
00:14:24Four
00:14:24Shirley Bown
00:14:28Four
00:14:28Anton Dubek
00:14:32Five
00:14:33Lovely
00:14:36And you opened up
00:14:39Five
00:14:40There's one thing
00:14:43I don't need to eat haggis
00:14:44Just explain
00:14:48That you had a bet, right?
00:14:50Yes
00:14:50Yeah
00:14:50If I got 20 or more
00:14:52She had to eat haggis
00:14:54So you're happy now, aren't you?
00:14:56Not really, but
00:14:57If you would like Ross and Evita to dance again next week
00:15:02Please vote for them
00:15:03The information on how to do that is on your screen now
00:15:06Remember you can't vote until later on
00:15:09Still to come
00:15:09Stefan, your hair has grown
00:15:11You look fantastic
00:15:12And Diana are having a party on the beach
00:15:14Talking of beach
00:15:16Blackburn is how many days away?
00:15:18Depends on how fast you drive, I guess
00:15:21I'm going to say 49
00:15:22And you are correct
00:15:24Tess
00:15:25Next to perform this evening is Amber Davis and her partner Nikita
00:15:30After a pretty intense start to the competition
00:15:33This week was all about the samba
00:15:34And getting to know each other a little bit better
00:15:37This is Danby
00:15:42In North Wales
00:15:43It's really beautiful
00:15:44I grew up here
00:15:46Everybody knows everybody
00:15:48Hi
00:15:49I'm so proud of you
00:15:51I'm so proud of you
00:15:52I'm so proud of you
00:15:53Coming from this small town
00:15:55And being able to give my family the opportunity to even come to like the Strictly Studios
00:16:00Yeah, yeah, yeah
00:16:01Was a dream come true
00:16:02This is a dynamite package and I can't wait to see what you guys are bringing
00:16:07I think being back here reminds me of where it all began
00:16:10Right here
00:16:12This is where my love for performing grew
00:16:14You know, once you fall in love with it
00:16:16You're like, I can't see myself doing anything else
00:16:19That's incredible
00:16:19My mum and dad just like supported me
00:16:22I wouldn't be who I am today without them
00:16:24This has been so much fun
00:16:26Now
00:16:27It's going to be your birthday
00:16:29This weekend
00:16:30Yes
00:16:31And we have the samba
00:16:32Yes
00:16:33So shall we just go out there
00:16:35And celebrate the whole package all together
00:16:37Yes, please
00:16:38Come on
00:16:38Come on, partner
00:16:39Let's do this
00:16:40Let's go

00:16:46It's that cheeky fun
00:16:47Yeah
00:16:48Amber's doing really well
00:16:50And now on the second one I do this
00:16:51What's the first one I do?
00:16:53I think she's trying to run before she can walk
00:16:55Too many questions in my brain
00:16:57I feel like I'm living my best Strictly life
00:17:00Exactly
00:17:00Yeah, like this is like Strictly to me
00:17:04I am loving the samba
00:17:06And I hope I do my hometown proud
00:17:09Well done

00:17:17And Nikita Cutsman
00:17:18You said you hated the ocean
00:17:21But you're surfing now
00:17:23I said I love you for life
00:17:26But I just sold our house
00:17:28We were kids at the start
00:17:31I guess we're grown-ups now
00:17:32Couldn't ever imagine
00:17:35Even having doubts
00:17:37But not everything works out
00:17:39You know
00:17:40I'm gonna break it
00:17:42I'm broken
00:17:43Never mistake
00:17:44I'm too much

00:18:41Yeah, yeah
00:18:42Keep dancing, girl
00:18:43Keep dancing, girl
00:18:44Keep dancing, girl
00:18:45Pretty
00:18:51Thank you
00:18:57God, no
00:18:58You are looking right at home
00:19:09On the dance floor now
00:19:10Happy birthday
00:19:12Thank you
00:19:13Let's hope the judges have a few gifts for you, Craig
00:19:16I loved, loved, loved that
00:19:19Yes
00:19:20I love, loved, loved that, but there is a but
00:19:28So, yeah, a tiny little but
00:19:30So, what I really want you to work on
00:19:33Please, please, please
00:19:34Your foot placement
00:19:36From now on
00:19:38Look in the direction of your feet
00:19:39There was quite a bit of a turnt in feet
00:19:42We will get there
00:19:44That being said
00:19:45You have the most amazing body rhythm I have seen in a while
00:19:51Well done
00:19:51Thank you
00:19:53Thank you
00:19:54Shelley
00:19:55So, it's a tale of two halves again
00:19:57And may I give a shout out to wardrobe
00:19:59Because that dress is absolutely stunning
00:20:01You look fantastic
00:20:06The upper half of your body
00:20:08The way that you come out here
00:20:10And you're able to sell what you're doing
00:20:12Is also just as important as the lower half
00:20:14As you move forward
00:20:15I'd like to see more seamless transitions
00:20:18So, when you're spinning
00:20:19I don't want to be able to tell
00:20:20That each foot is going
00:20:22I want it so it's more smooth
00:20:23I'll go with Moxie
00:20:24Feet at five to one
00:20:25Work a little bit downstairs
00:20:27It's supposed to be a close
00:20:28Do your best to do the closing
00:20:29There was a few heel leads
00:20:31Where there shouldn't have been heel leads
00:20:32But that's okay
00:20:33That's okay
00:20:34Because you compensated
00:20:35With the up half of your body
00:20:37Synchronisation
00:20:38Lovely feet
00:20:40Work on that
00:20:41And I'm sure you're going to even surprise yourself
00:20:43Thank you
00:20:43Thank you
00:20:44Shelley
00:20:44And on
00:20:46Yeah, well
00:20:47I don't want to have to repeat myself
00:20:49The same thing as the ladies
00:20:50But
00:20:51You know
00:20:52Interestingly enough
00:20:53Last week you came out
00:20:54And did the walls
00:20:54Beautiful
00:20:55Feet were turned out
00:20:56All over the place
00:20:56This week
00:20:57You've turned your feet in
00:20:58You need to change it
00:20:59Round the other way
00:20:59So in the ballroom
00:21:00Keep these feet
00:21:01And in the latin
00:21:02Keep those feet
00:21:03And you'll have cracked it
00:21:04It's as easy as that
00:21:05Well done
00:21:06Thank you
00:21:07Thank you so much
00:21:08Wonderful comments
00:21:10Across the wall
00:21:11Across the board
00:21:11From the judges
00:21:12Good luck with the scores
00:21:13Thank you
00:21:13Thank you
00:21:14Thank you
00:21:15Happy birthday
00:21:15I'm going to do that
00:21:17Thank you
00:21:18Thank you
00:21:18Thank you
00:21:19Thank you
00:21:20Thank you
00:21:20Thank you
00:21:21Thank you
00:21:22Thank you
00:21:23Thank you
00:21:24Thank you
00:21:25Thank you
00:21:26Thank you
00:21:27Well done
00:21:29Extraordinary comments
00:21:30I'm in your face
00:21:31When Craig said
00:21:32He loved it
00:21:33Tell me about your mindset
00:21:34Mr. Bath always was Craig
00:21:35You know
00:21:35So you just expect something
00:21:37Yeah we were waiting
00:21:37Like that from Craig
00:21:38Hmm
00:21:38What's he going to say next
00:21:39Absolutely
00:21:40What was your mindset
00:21:42This week
00:21:42I feel like this was the start
00:21:44Of my Strictly journey
00:21:45This week
00:21:46Yes
00:21:46Because I had the full week
00:21:48Yes
00:21:49And it was interesting
00:21:51Next time I'll just take the one day
00:21:53Yeah
00:21:53But no
00:21:54But you love the fact
00:21:55That Amber is so determined
00:21:57Absolutely
00:21:58Yes
00:21:58Honestly
00:21:59It's the best thing
00:22:01You can ask from a student
00:22:01Yeah
00:22:02Somebody who actually
00:22:03Writes down things
00:22:04And asks you
00:22:05A billion questions
00:22:06Sorry
00:22:07But at the same
00:22:07No it's great
00:22:08But at the same time
00:22:09I also said
00:22:09Let's walk before we run
00:22:11It's like building a house
00:22:13You build the foundations
00:22:14You build the walls
00:22:16You build the roof
00:22:17Yeah
00:22:18You build the side walls
00:22:19Okay
00:22:20And then you add on
00:22:21A couch
00:22:22A plant
00:22:23Then you go
00:22:24Go to Tesco
00:22:25Get your blueberries
00:22:26Go to your fridge
00:22:27Toilets
00:22:28Like everything comes later
00:22:30I have my floor
00:22:30And a plant
00:22:31All of it
00:22:31Okay
00:22:32Fantastic
00:22:33I don't know what's just happened
00:22:35Your boyfriend and sister here though
00:22:36They look extremely
00:22:37I love you both so much
00:22:40Love you
00:22:41Good luck
00:22:41The scores are in
00:22:43The judges' scores are in

00:23:14You can register
00:23:15And vote
00:23:16After everyone
00:23:17Has performed
00:23:18Very quickly
00:23:19We have to say
00:23:20Happy birthday
00:23:21Happy birthday
00:23:21Happy birthday
00:23:23Thank you Neil
00:23:36Tess
00:23:37Save a slice for me Amber
00:23:40Thank you
00:23:40Next in the ballroom
00:23:42Next in the ballroom
00:23:42It is Vicky Patterson
00:23:43And her partner Kai
00:23:44They've been bonding
00:23:45Over their shared
00:23:46Geordie roots
00:23:46So this week
00:23:47They're paying tribute
00:23:48To Vicky's beloved
00:23:49Newcastle
00:23:50Two
00:23:53Three
00:23:54I thought I'd be really excited
00:23:56About the Foxtrot
00:23:56But it turns out
00:23:58It still is hard
00:23:59One
00:23:59Feet together
00:24:00Out on the right foot
00:24:01Oh I wanted me left
00:24:02So the theme of this dance
00:24:03Is we're back in Newcastle
00:24:05Vicky's hometown
00:24:06And we really want Vicky to feel at home
00:24:08I'm thrilled to ribbons
00:24:10That we're dancing to a Sam Fender song
00:24:11I'm really proud to be from the North East
00:24:14All my family are still there
00:24:16All my friends are still there
00:24:17I think I'm probably going to get
00:24:18A little bit emotional
00:24:19Forget everything I've taught you in Latin
00:24:22Brilliant
00:24:22So I don't want you to
00:24:23Going from Latin to ballroom
00:24:26You've got to unlearn
00:24:27Some of the things you learnt
00:24:29The transition is not as seamless
00:24:31As I would have liked
00:24:31Imagine your heels like a paintbrush
00:24:33Key points in Foxtrot
00:24:35Are really having beautiful
00:24:36Rolling of the feet
00:24:38Rotation in the body
00:24:40And of course
00:24:41A beautiful frame
00:24:42And top line
00:24:43Did you have an accent?
00:24:44Yeah
00:24:44I wanted to be a pretty princess
00:24:47This beautiful season I've got
00:24:51To be dancing
00:24:55Such a beautiful dance
00:24:56To a song by Sam Fender
00:24:58Who is a Geordie legend
00:25:00I am feeling nervous
00:25:05I feel like I've got loads of pressure on
00:25:07As I just want to
00:25:08I just want to do it just as
00:25:10Dancing the Foxtrot
00:25:15Vicki Patterson and Kai Wiggins
00:25:29I let go of everything I ever had
00:25:33Cause I couldn't give the love you deserve
00:25:41We take whatever we can
00:25:49To get the reason back
00:25:53So please don't rain me
00:25:57Don't rain me
00:26:03Please don't rain me
00:26:12Now I'm working myself up to a nice warm
00:26:19Cause all my memories are hearing my timid eggs
00:26:23If I stop it, just please don't rain me
00:26:28Oh!
00:26:34Oh!
00:26:35Oh!
00:26:37Oh!
00:26:39You little beauty.
00:26:51Well done.
00:26:58I think the pop shot suits you.
00:27:00Thank you for you.
00:27:01Yes.
00:27:01I love how you were.
00:27:04Anton, how was it for you?
00:27:05Well, I was just looking at what I've written down here.
00:27:07I know somebody who would have loved your heel turn.
00:27:11Dearly departed Len would have loved that heel turn.
00:27:14Now, I know you've been working on the heel turn for hours on a day
00:27:20and you pulled it off beautifully.
00:27:22So, well done.
00:27:23I didn't want that go missed.
00:27:24You have a nice gentleness of frame.
00:27:27It's nice and gentle and it's natural and it sits comfortably.
00:27:32Your feet are working well.
00:27:33Keep working on those.
00:27:34That will stand you in good stead moving forward.
00:27:36The problem you have is that it's too close.
00:27:39So, you're up against him there.
00:27:41So, I get a little nervous.
00:27:43You're about to go wrong.
00:27:44It makes me feel a bit nervous once you dance.
00:27:47And I shouldn't feel like that.
00:27:48Because I want you to just lean back.
00:27:53I mean, old school, really.
00:27:54Just lean back.
00:27:55I need some space between you and Kai.
00:27:57So, I need that lovely shape because there's a naturalness to your frame
00:28:00and a capacity to have a beautiful top line.
00:28:04So, the more you do that with what you're doing down below,
00:28:07I think you're going to be a ballroom queen.
00:28:09APPLAUSE
00:28:10We love that.
00:28:14Craig.
00:28:15There was an awful lot of capping throughout the whole thing
00:28:18and a few lumps and bumps as we're going through.
00:28:22The heel turns were absolutely gorgeous, so well done on that.
00:28:26You know what I really liked about you, Vicky,
00:28:29was the fact that you dance with an earthy elegance and realness.
00:28:35And it sort of, I don't know, reminded me of a dance from musical theatre.
00:28:39I thought it was really charming.
00:28:41Yeah.
00:28:42APPLAUSE
00:28:42Your face.
00:28:45It's true.
00:28:47It's true, Vicky.
00:28:48And the thing is, when you dance and I see your expression
00:28:52and the way you move, I believe it.
00:28:54I don't feel like Kai told you,
00:28:56you have to smile there and point there.
00:28:58It comes from within.
00:29:00What I would love to have that comes also from within
00:29:03is the tone in the body.
00:29:04I think you're doing everything really well,
00:29:06the footwork, the posture.
00:29:08I just feel if the body had a little bit more tone
00:29:11and a little bit more stretch in the spine,
00:29:13you would be able to hold yourself
00:29:16because at the moment it feels like you are too dependent.
00:29:19Hello.
00:29:20You're too dependent on your dance partner.
00:29:23And we need to be dependent, yes, move together,
00:29:26but they're still my space and your space
00:29:29and we create magic together.
00:29:31OK?
00:29:32APPLAUSE
00:29:32Shelley.
00:29:34APPLAUSE
00:29:34Shelley.
00:29:36I've got a few things written down here.
00:29:38They're both talking about space and where you need to be
00:29:40and it's, as I said before,
00:29:42you need to move yourself over to Kai's right side.
00:29:45You need to sort of pick yourself up from your core
00:29:48and your centre and move yourself over.
00:29:49There is shades in this of really great frame.
00:29:54You went past here and you just look so beautiful in the back.
00:29:57I can see that this is where it's going.
00:30:00My next thing I want to say is to you, Kai.
00:30:02I want to say to you,
00:30:04I think this girl could actually probably,
00:30:06maybe, possibly, go all the way.
00:30:09But, hold on.
00:30:11You cannot babysit.
00:30:13I've danced with you and you are a great strider.
00:30:17That means he really, even with me...
00:30:19I've danced with him, you're right.
00:30:21You really made me shift
00:30:23and we had to do those things for It Takes Two
00:30:25and I think she's got the ability.
00:30:27So let her keep up with you.
00:30:29Don't you go to what she can do.
00:30:31So give it a little bit of a test run there.
00:30:33Delicately beautifully.
00:30:34Agree with Craig for something very special about you.
00:30:37We're on the beginning of the journey.
00:30:38I'm very excited as to where it's going to go.
00:30:40Oh!
00:30:41APPLAUSE
00:30:41You must be delighted with those comments.
00:30:46You've really done yourself proud.
00:30:48Thank you so much.
00:30:50I really appreciate it.
00:30:51I think I'm actually going to cry.
00:30:52You're so sweet.
00:30:54Sorry.
00:30:55I've got two shoes upstairs.
00:30:57Good luck with the scores.
00:30:58Thank you, Kai.
00:31:00Thank you, Kai.
00:31:00Come on, Kai.
00:31:02You're a boring queen.
00:31:04Yeah.
00:31:04LAUGHTER
00:31:05APPLAUSE
00:31:06I'm so happy for you.
00:31:16Thank you, Kai.
00:31:16I don't have tissues, but you can wipe on there.
00:31:19Oh, no, I'm all right.
00:31:19You're trying to talk to Bobby Dazzler.
00:31:21I'm not going to wipe me nose on that.
00:31:22Let's go back to her.
00:31:23It'll be absolutely fine.
00:31:24It meant a lot to you to do well in this dance, didn't it?
00:31:29Obviously, Sam Fender is like a Geordie legend.
00:31:32Yeah.
00:31:32And we had the gorgeous Time Bridge in the background, and Kai's half a Geordie, and I'm about as
00:31:38Geordie as they come.
00:31:39And actually, I haven't really done an awful lot of stuff to make the North East proud, especially
00:31:45at the start of my career, so it feels really nice to be able to turn a corner on Strictly
00:31:51and have all my family and friends watch us, and I don't know, maybe it's make them proud.
00:31:57CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
00:31:59Of course they are.
00:32:01You've got us all going.
00:32:03And as are you, aren't you?
00:32:05I am.
00:32:06I am obviously half Geordie, so it meant a lot to both of us.
00:32:08But this one is such a trooper.
00:32:12I mean, when I say that we were, they say we're virtually standing up.
00:32:15At the beginning of the week, we were croissant-ing again.
00:32:18So the work that she puts in and how hard she works is just amazing, and I'm so proud to go out there
00:32:25and dance with her.
00:32:25And I just said to her beforehand, I said, just go out there and dance with me.
00:32:28And the little routine that we've been practising all week, just go out there and do that,
00:32:31and I believe she did a great job.
00:32:32You did a fantastic job.
00:32:35My favourite thing are your animals.
00:32:37It was last week, you said you had to be a turbo sloth.
00:32:40Yes.
00:32:41Tonight, what were you?
00:32:42Tonight, I was, oh, God, I'm turning into a bit of a zoo.
00:32:44I was a graceful giraffe.
00:32:46Yes, you were.
00:32:47The Geordie Attenborough.
00:32:48Ha!
00:32:49Done.
00:32:50Good luck, the scores are in.
00:32:52Will the judges please reveal their scores?
00:32:55Craig Revelhall.
00:32:57Six.
00:32:58CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
00:32:59Motsi Mabusa.
00:33:01Six.
00:33:02CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
00:33:03Shirley Bowns.
00:33:04Six.
00:33:05CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
00:33:06And Tom Dubeck.
00:33:08Six.
00:33:09CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
00:33:10Well done.
00:33:10I'm happy.
00:33:12I'm so happy.
00:33:13If you love Vicky and my spot shot and want to see them here again next week,
00:33:18please vote for them at the end of the show.
00:33:20The information you need is on your screen.
00:33:23Now, still to come, Bavenda and Jules, close the show.
00:33:26Excited?
00:33:27Very much so.
00:33:28And what a dress.
00:33:30Well done, you two.
00:33:31Tef.
00:33:33Taking to the floor now are Chris Robshaw and his partner, Nadia.
00:33:37Tonight, they're dancing the Viennese Waltz and Nevermind,
00:33:39Craig, Motsi, Shirley and Anton.
00:33:41This week, it's all about impressing Wilding, Hunter and Mila.
00:33:49Step round, eh?
00:33:51This week, we're dancing the Viennese Waltz.
00:33:54It's a bit less hips than the samba.
00:33:55So, fingers crossed, I'll suit it a bit more.
00:33:59So, this will be you through the whole done.
00:34:02Like a scarecrow.
00:34:04It's very elegant.
00:34:06And a lot of my spot was abrasive and contact.
00:34:10It's trying to be the complete opposite now.
00:34:13So, we're working on the flow between the movements.
00:34:15Make sense?
00:34:16Yes.
00:34:17Does it?
00:34:19Loosely.
00:34:20That is much easier said than done.
00:34:22Hello.
00:34:27Chris, Mila.
00:34:28You're lovely to meet Mrs. Waltz, who's run off in Little Hunter.
00:34:32My daughter Mila, she's a little dancer herself.
00:34:36Can you do that?
00:34:37Come show me your one, Waltz.
00:34:39There's a very famous saying, never work with children or animals.
00:34:44I can probably vouch for that now.
00:34:45Whoa.
00:34:47Don't be too harsh of a judge, okay?
00:34:50Oh, I'm going to be the best judge.
00:34:52She's working so hard.
00:34:58That was amazing.
00:35:00Aw.
00:35:01Ten.
00:35:02Any pointers?
00:35:03Just smile.
00:35:04Having our children here today has given me and Nadia such a buzz.
00:35:08And we can't wait to get out there and perform for them.
00:35:10Perfect.
00:35:11Exactly.
00:35:12Listen, Craig, listen.
00:35:13Ah!
00:35:19Dancing the Viennese works.
00:35:21Chris Robshaw and Nadia Biscova.
00:35:23I, I just woke up from a dream where you and I had to say goodbye.
00:35:44And I don't know what it all means, but since I survived, I realized that wherever you go, that's where I'll follow.
00:36:00Nobody's promised tomorrow.
00:36:04So I'm going to love you every night like it's the last night.
00:36:08Like it's the last night.
00:36:10If the world was there, if I'm going to be next to you, if the party was over, and I turned my life was through, I want you just for a while.
00:36:33And time will be next to you.
00:36:47If the world was standing, I want to be next to you.
00:36:53Yes!
00:36:59Yes!
00:37:04Oh, God.
00:37:06Oh.
00:37:08So well done, Chris.
00:37:10You're meaning our world's away from that rugby pitch right now, aren't you?
00:37:13Couldn't be further away.
00:37:15So well done.
00:37:16What do you think, Shirley?
00:37:16Well, you're definitely putting your best foot forward today.
00:37:19this is better than last week so that's a start isn't it it's getting it as you move forward in
00:37:25the competition if i could just stand up with moxie and this will apply to everybody moxie
00:37:30if i am the leader and she is the follower she can come here and close to me she can come close
00:37:36but i'm not going to go in on her space why not no because i want her to be able to come to you
00:37:43and i want you to be able to keep a beautiful length in your body your posture and your arms
00:37:48are showing so much more promise than last week that's all i ever ask is that each week there's
00:37:53tiny tiny little bits of improvement it's a joyful partnership this it really is this these arms
00:37:59that you had at the beginning where you were leading nadia you're so graceful nadia absolutely
00:38:03stunning i mean you actually had some nice finish in part improvement in the feet you've really got
00:38:09to work on pivoting so it's more smooth but better than last week thank you thank you
00:38:17yeah i agree it was better than last week i i want you you're what are you six foot four something
00:38:22like that six foot two well you but you don't dance you dance five foot eight you you are you're so
00:38:30tall and so elegant you have a lovely walking action you walk beautifully with your feet are beautifully
00:38:37straight and the ball dancing is based on a walk i dance your height somebody once said to me you must
00:38:44dance dance your height doesn't matter how tall or short your partner is you dance your height and
00:38:49you can adjust your arms accordingly look at you you're magnificent and nadia will fit to whatever
00:38:55you do because you've got so much potential but you let me can i just do it do you mind if i do a
00:39:00demonstration you do this it goes here and so you're dancing to nadia all the time with but you never
00:39:07get back up and i want you to do this i want to feel that you're standing almost slightly aloof
00:39:13because this you'd be magnificent because you walk so well your arms oh so work on that and i think
00:39:20i think i think the sky's the limit this is your natural position yeah if you were a winger you'd
00:39:28have been fine see well you were a number six down in front no i totally and absolutely agree with anton
00:39:34on that and that's my major note is the frame the posture the shoulders were up you were almost leaning
00:39:40over her you lost fluidity in the arms there's a lot to work on but you do have a magnificent frame
00:39:48for ballroom so um you showed promise i think we we're kind of have the same message and i don't
00:39:58want to go too much into the technical of dancing because we've heard it quite a few times i i still
00:40:03believe that you are going to have to step out of your usual comfort zone i believe that when you feel
00:40:10like it's too much because this is very far from a place where you come from it's never going to be too
00:40:16much we're on strictly come dancing and we're wearing glitter balls like you you kind of have to
00:40:22you know an alter ego who are you in this moment you're not chris anymore call yourself i don't care
00:40:27fred or whatever but that person put them on the dance floor and then you can go back to being chris
00:40:33and shy and ultimate but here it's about you know getting there reaching that goal like you do when
00:40:39you're on your field take it on come on thank you
00:40:45and lots to hopefully take back into the training room next week
00:40:48fingers crossed
00:40:49come on thank you
00:40:50good luck
00:40:51well done well done and they said much improved much improved is always nice isn't it of course well
00:41:11before he was to the ground now he's already i mean that's what he used to it's not like exactly
00:41:17having a blank canvas it's me relearning the whole posture and to get him straight from the ground
00:41:24what he more used to so it's a lot it's really hard and now he's had you holding cans holding all
00:41:30kinds of things to try and get up cans broomsticks everything to try and get me up here it's a work in
00:41:35progress but like we said much improved from last week yeah so yeah a step in the right direction
00:41:40how wonderful was it to dance for your kids it was really especially it was special for me to have
00:41:46mila there with chris's boys and they danced together and then they danced with us and mila calls
00:41:51him chris the captain and she told him to smile so we didn't die on that floor but we did smile so it
00:41:57was lovely there you go good luck the scores are in the judges scores are in craig revel hall three
00:42:05moxie magusie
00:42:11shirley balance four
00:42:14and tom du beck five
00:42:20no one wants to be the first to go home this weekend if you don't want it to be chris and
00:42:26nadia then the details on how to get ready to vote for them at the end of tonight's show
00:42:31are on your screen now still to come a cha-cha a charleston and a passer
00:42:37last week stefan dennis and his partner diane paid homage to stefan's 30-year career on neighbors
00:42:43tonight with their cha-cha they're taking on his other role as an 80s pop star kids ask your parents
00:42:49so this week diane and i are doing the cha-cha-cha yeah yeah yeah it's a cheeky dance it's got to
00:43:02have a lot of personality cha-cha-cha is very difficult for me because it's so fast and as
00:43:09soon as the music kicks in let's go and then jump your feet out seven eight we just have to
00:43:17keep working hard so that it's so natural for him that he can really release the cheekiness in the
00:43:22dance nice we've done training and now i've brought my mate diane to the soap award welcome to the inside
00:43:31soap award 2025 it's really great to be here though you're up for an award how cool is that
00:43:46i didn't think as a young actor that i had the privilege to be part of the most iconic
00:43:53part of australian television to be given this tonight as a bit of a send-off it's pretty good
00:43:57thanks everyone look at this look what i got well done i'm very proud of you this has been really
00:44:03fun but we must go because we've got a big day of training tomorrow i tell you the cha-cha-cha has
00:44:09been a bit of a struggle but it's small increments small increments i'm hoping it's going to come
00:44:14together for saturday night no i know it's going to come together for saturday night yes
00:44:21hot new entry this week it's the cha-cha with stephen dennis and diane buswell
00:44:41i just like to make you mine
00:45:00Oh my
00:45:01Baby give it up, give it up
00:45:10Baby give it up
00:45:12Baby give it up, give it up
00:45:18Baby give it up
00:45:30Baby give it up, give it up, baby give it up
00:45:40Baby give it up, give it up, baby give it up
00:45:48I won't let you know, come on baby I'll let you know
00:45:53Baby, baby, baby
00:46:00I love you two together you are so much fun such a brilliant partnership
00:46:24Let's talk cha-cha Motsy yes, let's talk such a you have a brilliant partnership and you have a brilliant energy
00:46:29There's just you guys are like sunshine when you pair up together
00:46:34It's true, I love that
00:46:36I am going to have to address the elephant in the room
00:46:39There were lots of tiny, tiny mistakes everywhere
00:46:43I honestly always want you guys, there were guys, sorry
00:46:47Let's just be honest for the day, even if it's for the hour
00:46:52Just let's try next time to rehearse and stick to the routine
00:46:56I don't know how much more we can rehearse there Motsy
00:46:59Find a way, find a way, I don't know, I don't know
00:47:02But we have to get one performance without those tiny, tiny creepers in there
00:47:07And you guys are brilliant together
00:47:10Thank you, thank you very much
00:47:12It's a shame
00:47:12Shirley
00:47:13I do love the partnership, I want to say that
00:47:18And that little thing that you did on the end, is there a name for that Diane
00:47:21Were you pulsing on the floor? Did you name it?
00:47:23Because it kind of showed me, it's got really sort of like a little bit of a groove going on
00:47:27When you started, I looked and I thought, yes, this is going to be really quite good
00:47:31You started with what we call whop-a-char timing
00:47:33I did appreciate it
00:47:34You held it and then you went, hold your two and three
00:47:37You moved, very difficult to do for a dancer
00:47:39And you executed that well
00:47:40And I think that nerves got the better of you
00:47:43Yeah
00:47:44Because I think I know that you're better than what you delivered today
00:47:47And sometimes that happens, sometimes that happens to the best of anybody
00:47:50They get nervous
00:47:51I was petrified
00:47:52And then they start making mistakes
00:47:54I was absolutely petrified about this week's dance
00:47:56You know what, you brush it aside
00:47:58You move on, you make sure you do keep going, keep going, get used to it
00:48:02You know, just pretend it's a day at the office
00:48:04Yeah
00:48:05Don't think it's we're in front of 15 million people in an audience
00:48:08Just think it's like a day at the office
00:48:10And try to get that psyche in you
00:48:12Because I think you also show great potential, great routine by the way
00:48:16Thank you
00:48:16Great potential
00:48:18It's only week two, there's lots of nerves, Anton
00:48:21There is, and you know, the other thing as well, of course
00:48:23We've got all 15 couples, uh, so far
00:48:26So by the time you, what number are you, number 12, 12 or 13 or something
00:48:30Lucky 13
00:48:31Lucky 13
00:48:31Well, that's, that's almost two hours since you walked down the stairs
00:48:35It's a long time
00:48:36You had to wait
00:48:36For the, to come out and dance
00:48:38And for it to be clean
00:48:39So it's very, very difficult
00:48:41I've done it myself many times
00:48:42And it's very difficult to have that performance there and in
00:48:44It's a two, two-sided coin really
00:48:47Your actual performance was very good
00:48:49And the, the bits of the cha-cha-cha that were right were very good
00:48:53But unfortunately there was quite an element
00:48:55Yeah
00:48:55I understand
00:48:56But better luck next week
00:48:58Apart from the obvious mistakes
00:49:04I thought the overall thing was stiff
00:49:07And, um, you're picking your feet up way too much
00:49:11Which makes it look stompy
00:49:13Um, your timing got out on several occasions, unfortunately
00:49:19But you know what I thought was good about it
00:49:22Was it was full of content
00:49:24Proper, proper content
00:49:26And, as anton said, you know, you perform it
00:49:30So people at home may not have seen any of that darling
00:49:33Because of your beautiful smile and the fact that you can act
00:49:36For real
00:49:36Exactly
00:49:36You know, so well done
00:49:37Thank you everyone
00:49:38Thank you, thank you, thank you
00:49:39Some great advice
00:49:41Sorry, it didn't go quite as well as you wanted
00:49:42But good luck with the scores, my darling
00:49:44Thank you
00:49:45Thank you
00:49:45Thank you
00:49:46Thank you
00:49:47Oh, my gosh, be careful
00:49:53Be careful
00:49:54I'm just going to tell you, we thought it was magnificent
00:50:05Thank you
00:50:06You were, you just said to Tess, you were petrified, weren't you?
00:50:09Yeah, the cha-cha just had me absolutely stumped for some reason, didn't it?
00:50:13It did, yes, it did
00:50:15I don't know why, just a block
00:50:17No, but it's also incredibly hard
00:50:19We were discussing earlier, because is it straight, is it this?
00:50:22And he has been getting frustrated with himself
00:50:24He has, it was really sad actually
00:50:26This week he said to me
00:50:27Di, I don't often feel old
00:50:29But I feel very old in this competition
00:50:32He is the oldest guy in this competition
00:50:34And you would never know
00:50:36He works incredibly hard
00:50:37And I want to let you know
00:50:39That you are doing a fabulous job out there
00:50:42You are
00:50:43Brilliant
00:50:44Good luck

00:51:50Okay
00:51:51Dancing next
00:51:53It is George Clark and his partner Alexis
00:51:56Now George has been finding it hard to get into character
00:51:58For the Paso Doble
00:52:00So he enlisted the help of one of his fellow celebrities
00:52:02His training room neighbour
00:52:04You might say
00:52:05So this week's dance is a Paso Doble
00:52:14Which seems unbelievably serious
00:52:16Give me a growl
00:52:17I'm not giving you a growl
00:52:19Last week was more flowy
00:52:21Who's that?
00:52:22It felt like sort of like a beautiful thing
00:52:25Now this is more striking fear into the hearts of your enemies
00:52:28Eye of the tiger
00:52:29I'm really angry and stuff
00:52:31Oh you're so angry
00:52:31It's so unbelievably serious and angry
00:52:35You have no idea how angry I'm
00:52:36And those tend to be things that I am
00:52:38It was a little better
00:52:39But yeah because I was angry
00:52:40You have to have that intensity
00:52:42And I'm trying to channel that fierceness
00:52:45Will you marry me?
00:52:48M'lady please will you marry me?
00:52:50But it's quite the opposite of fierce
00:52:51Yo!
00:52:53Stefan Dennis dropped by today to give me a little impromptu acting class
00:52:58Georgie needs a little lesson on how to be serious
00:53:01Think about something that would give you an adrenaline rush of fear
00:53:04You're a world famous bullfighter
00:53:06No you're a world famous bullfighter
00:53:07No you're right I am
00:53:08I don't think I'll be getting any roles soon
00:53:10Wipe the smile off your face altogether
00:53:11It's not for us
00:53:12He's given me the tools
00:53:14I just need to build the scowl
00:53:16Now raise your head
00:53:17That's it
00:53:18Stefan actually managed to achieve some form of seriousness in my face towards the end of the session
00:53:23That's it
00:53:23Yeah
00:53:24I'm hoping on the night I channel L George
00:53:27And I stay serious for a period of a minute and a half
00:53:32Dancing the Pasadena
00:53:36George Clarke
00:53:38And Alexis Wall
00:53:39Who's in the shadows
00:53:53Who's ready to play
00:53:57Are we the hunters
00:54:01Or are we the prey
00:54:05This is a wild game of survival
00:54:23This is a wild game of survival
00:54:27Survival
00:54:34This is a wild game of survival
00:54:39This is a wild game of survival
00:54:42What are we the hunters
00:54:48This is what you get
00:54:52Baby, my survival
00:54:56This is what you get
00:55:04This is what you get
00:55:09Baby, my survival
00:55:18I can tell you we're loving it even without a serious passo face
00:55:47How was George's week two performance Shirley?
00:55:50I think you did absolutely outstanding
00:55:53I think what I appreciate is the fact that you're in control of every movement that you do
00:56:01You were breathing, you didn't need all those facial expressions
00:56:04You know, you were breathing beautifully
00:56:06Everything had an intention
00:56:09We knew exactly where you were going
00:56:11And that captivates me
00:56:13I was like, I looked at my hair
00:56:15I was like, haven't we seen the same thing yet?
00:56:16And I was like, yes
00:56:17Your narrative was good between the two of you
00:56:19I love that
00:56:20I love that small breathing that's going
00:56:22That was outstanding
00:56:23Don't normally see that at all
00:56:24Continuous movement
00:56:26And also with Alexis
00:56:27As we know, she can do anything
00:56:29And you handled her so well
00:56:32Particularly when she did the trick at the end
00:56:34There wasn't a wobble
00:56:35It went zoom and hit
00:56:37Thank you very much
00:56:38I mean, I don't often say this
00:56:42But could we potentially be looking at a front runner here?
00:56:46Oh!
00:56:47Oh!
00:56:48Multiple?
00:56:49If you keep up your good work like that
00:56:53I'm sure everybody is going to appreciate your work
00:56:55Well done
00:56:56Thank you very much
00:56:57I mean, I really enjoyed your time at the beginning
00:57:04Because you picked up the space within the highlights of the music beautifully
00:57:10You were absolutely on it
00:57:11Brilliant
00:57:12Let me talk to you about the face for a minute
00:57:13Now, this is really important
00:57:14I want you to really understand this
00:57:16Because it's not just about having tango face
00:57:18Or having paso face
00:57:19Or having rumba face
00:57:20Because what you're trying to do is cast a spell
00:57:23We want to be able to watch you
00:57:24And you always want to be able to watch you
00:57:25And be transfixed by the spell that you're creating
00:57:29And this comes from your face
00:57:30Your face
00:57:31They talk about eyes and the windows to the soles
00:57:34And things like this
00:57:34You must tell the story through the face
00:57:39You want to be romantic, be romantic
00:57:41You want to be passionate, be passionate
00:57:42You want to be intense, be intense
00:57:44But this
00:57:45You lose this
00:57:46You lose the spell
00:57:47And you kept the spell tonight
00:57:49It was brilliant
00:57:50Thank you very much
00:57:51I thought you could have hyper-extended
00:58:01Some of the lines
00:58:02Just accentuated the Spanish line
00:58:05It just didn't go far enough for me
00:58:08But I have to agree with everyone
00:58:10Power, passion
00:58:11And Lewis better watch his back, darling
00:58:15Just saying
00:58:16Thank you
00:58:18Well, George, I think, you know
00:58:22You have muscles like everybody else
00:58:25Which is, yay, they are there
00:58:27The thing is
00:58:29But what we want as dancing
00:58:32As Shirley said
00:58:33Breathing
00:58:33Is flexible
00:58:34That flexible
00:58:35Not to feel like somebody's going from one robot
00:58:38To the next
00:58:39So I think that's what we absolutely love
00:58:41This calm
00:58:42This collectedness
00:58:43And I did see your soul when you were dancing
00:58:47I think this is what you put out there
00:58:49This is the way you express yourself
00:58:51I would like a little bit more fluidity in it
00:58:54When you move from foot to foot
00:58:56I think you can join the steps and gel them much, much more
00:58:59But I'm going to put my card on Miss Shirley
00:59:02And say
00:59:02I think we have someone very special here
00:59:05That's going to go very hard
00:59:07I mean, fantastic comments, George
00:59:12I mean, thank you very much
00:59:15I mean, I'm sort of stuck for words anyway
00:59:17But that's made me speechless
00:59:19So I appreciate it
00:59:19Thank you very much, guys
00:59:20That's the first
00:59:20I can't wait to see your scores
00:59:23Off you go and get them from Claudia
00:59:25Well done, George
00:59:25So proud of you
00:59:30That was amazing
00:59:31So proud
00:59:33What extraordinary comments
00:59:44I loved your face
00:59:45When Shirley said
00:59:45We might be looking at a front runner here
00:59:47You went
00:59:47Hold on just a minute
00:59:50How did you handle this week?
00:59:53You were quite concerned
00:59:54By the whole Paso thing
00:59:55Yeah
00:59:55No, I mean
00:59:56It's just completely
00:59:57Sort of the opposite side of my personality
00:59:58So
00:59:59Yeah, I mean
01:00:01She said sort of
01:00:02Channel like a really serious
01:00:04Dangerous energy
01:00:04But I
01:00:06That didn't really resonate
01:00:07So I thought
01:00:08Maybe more
01:00:09Mum trying to look at the phone
01:00:11It's very, very good
01:00:13Let's quit
01:00:14Let's quit
01:00:14Yeah, I make that like that
01:00:15He loves a knee slide
01:00:17He loves a knee slide
01:00:18Who knew?
01:00:19We were just messing around one day
01:00:21And he was doing these knee walks
01:00:22And I'm like
01:00:22Mm, noted
01:00:23Yeah
01:00:23Thank you very much

01:01:09what a night last to dance is balvinda so pal and her partner julian and tonight balvinda becomes the
01:01:14first celebrity of the series to take on the charleston and is a certain judge's absolute
01:01:26one two three four that that that one of the key steps in charleston is of course the charleston
01:01:40swivel it's super iconic your feet which are doing this and then the arms which are kind of moving
01:01:46this hand foot coordination which is really confusing at times boom boom boom ah the charleston's a super
01:01:53expressive dance character driven you do have to embrace the silliness but i'm somebody that's
01:01:59quite reserved so we're here at the riverside country park we've spent many lovely evenings
01:02:08walking along this path i really like it here so i'm dying to know what was a younger version about
01:02:13like what was she like growing up like doing little concerts from the age of like five six seven in
01:02:18front of mum and dad okay so this is the stuff i want to know this is the stuff i want to know so
01:02:22singing into a hairbrush right you've always been performing on a saturday night
01:02:29i think bal and julian have been matched perfectly he really does bring out the softer
01:02:34side of bal which she doesn't really let a lot of people in this week character wise we really have
01:02:41to let go so whilst we're out here kind of reminiscing about childhood memories and all that we can
01:02:45really draw on that for the charleston i think i have to find that carefree little girl in me she's
01:02:51there but i've just got to tap into her dancing with charleston valvinda sopar and julian cairn
01:03:02she got that booty
01:03:12oh she's cute and she's classy
01:03:29big boy and sassy she knows what she do and she
01:03:34knows when she
01:03:35i know it's hard to imagine
01:03:37but why you keep asking like all this came out of the blue
01:03:43but i've been like this been like this from your laughter on your lips ain't nothing new
01:03:49still that shit is a been like been like been like this been like this been like this been like this
01:03:54take your shots
01:04:04you're doing it just the way i'm right
01:04:07we go out kicking over these crammies
01:04:10but who needs to stand when their reservation got an invitation for two
01:04:15you're coming out
01:04:16been like this been like this talk that's right when i'm on your knees
01:04:20like me you
01:04:21me and my chick
01:04:21so been like been like been like this
01:04:23ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
01:04:27we're going out to be you
01:04:29me and my chick
01:04:30so be like you, like you, like you
01:04:32Oh
01:04:57My goodness standing ovation in the studio for you
01:05:00We've seen your swivel Craig
01:05:06I have to say who knew darling
01:05:12I mean you do need to pick your feet up a little bit finish off some of the steps that you start
01:05:17And more energy in the arms, but you did so great the lifts were fantastic. I know swivel was gone
01:05:30The lifts moxie. Yes. Yes, but I want to come back whatever you did this week whatever you ate you drank
01:05:37I don't know what you did
01:05:39Again every other week. This was fantastic. Oh
01:05:47It's not very often I get shocked, but that was absolutely outstanding who would have thought
01:05:52That Balbinder would have closed our show with a Charleston like that. You were absolutely
01:05:58Together spot on the choreography was absolutely outstanding
01:06:02You put your heart and soul in you brought your actress in skills
01:06:05I think you went home last week and thought I'm not going to take those fours
01:06:08I'm going to work super hard and get those and you double in your score this week. You were great
01:06:20Last week to this week the difference. Well, you're a different woman
01:06:25You can ask for congratulations, Valvinda off you go and get your scores. It was super
01:06:34Thank you
01:06:53Did you feel I mean because closing the show is quite a big deal if you feel the response absolutely yeah, and then how did you find those comments?
01:07:03Really like
01:07:05Oh, yeah, I'm speechless to be honest with you
01:07:07This woman's strength of character because when we were in the warm-up area we were going through like we normally would yeah
01:07:13And little mistakes were popping in here and there. I'm like, it's fine. We're gonna get in it inside. I'm like, oh my goodness
01:07:21I did not doubt that she would come out and absolutely smash it because under pressure you shine
01:07:27Absolutely
01:07:29Your sisters are in the audience as well. I love them supporting. I know I was watching them
