00:00The Philadelphia Eagles are 4-0.
00:02And for anybody that doesn't know when it comes to this desk,
00:05Joe Lisi will let you know how good the Philadelphia Eagles are.
00:07The only thing that would come from me.
00:09Joe has been adamant all year long they are the best team in football.
00:11And so far through four weeks, Joe, the record says they're the best team in football.
00:16The details of these games have been very odd.
00:19The last two Philadelphia Eagles games have featured two incredible halves of offense
00:24and two of the worst halves of offense any teams have put forward.
00:28Half one against the Rams, half two against the Bucs.
00:32Atrocious.
00:33The middle portions were fantastic.
00:36And what this has led to is, once again, A.J. Brown not being very happy.
00:42Sending out sub-tweets on Twitter.
00:44And then he's doing press conferences where he's like,
00:47Guys, it's not about stats.
00:49It's not about stats.
00:50I just want to win.
00:52I'm telling you.
00:53And I want our offense to get going.
00:55It's not about stats.
00:57And then Diana Russini of the Athletic reports that not only is A.J. Brown upset,
01:02but so is Devonta Smith.
01:04And one thing they're really upset about is that they don't have many touchdowns,
01:08which I'm going to be honest with you, A.J., if this is a part of your complaints.
01:12That sounds like it's about stats because the Eagles have scored a touchdown
01:16on 100% of their red zone opportunities.
01:19So to complain about the Eagles' red zone offense feels maybe a little ridiculous.
01:24Joe, you are adamant, again, I cannot stress this enough, people will think it will be me,
01:28it is you, that the Eagles are by far the best team in football.
01:32They are.
01:33But there's a lot going on here.
01:35What do you make of the A.J. Brown comments, the way the Eagles' offense looks,
01:39what do you make of it all?
01:40Typical wide receivers, no?
01:41I mean, you can go back to the days of, I think, Jerry Rice, and, you know,
01:46when you have a more key number one.
01:47And now it's Devonta Smith, the pure consummate professional,
01:51potentially coming out and saying, you know, that he's not getting enough touchdowns.
01:55I get it.
01:55He did score a touchdown against the Rams, though.
01:57I guess that wasn't.
01:58Yeah, a game-winning touchdown.
01:59Right, that wasn't.
02:00It wasn't enough.
02:01He's furious for some reason.
02:03Let me just say this.
02:05Four or no?
02:05Yep.
02:05I know they haven't put together four quarters of football.
02:09Nope.
02:10I got it.
02:10But they're undefeated.
02:12Yes.
02:12And, Ken, I will make this argument.
02:15Has there been a team in the NFL that has played a harder schedule
02:21in the first four weeks of the regular season than the Philadelphia Eagles?
02:27Divisional opponent with six months of preparation, new coach, new optimism,
02:33Dallas Cowboys, they win.
02:34They grind it out, but they win.
02:36Right?
02:36Rematch, Super Bowl, in Arrowhead against a team that they clipped
02:41in last year's Super Bowl and demolished them with revenge on their minds.
02:45And what did they do?
02:47They won and covered.
02:48Revenge, playoff game where the Rams covered but were in striking distance
02:53to almost knock off Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley.
02:58And what happened?
02:58They won for a half, but they won and covered.
03:01Now, it doesn't matter how they covered, but they won and covered.
03:05Yep.
03:05And then last week, a team that had beat them the two previous years, right,
03:10beat them in a playoff environment 32-6, 32-7, beat them in the regular season
03:15by 20-plus, and then they go in there and they hold on and win.
03:19Maybe it wasn't as flashy as you wanted, but if this was the Chiefs, nobody has played a
03:25harder schedule with revenge, and teams play off-caliber teams, every single one of them.
03:30I mean, no?
03:32Who's played a harder schedule?
