00:13And I don't know how much more I'm going to want to do with this.
00:15Honestly, this is my worst year ever in fantasy football.
00:18When I say ever, it is ever.
00:21E-R, like I don't even want to look at my notifications at this point.
00:25I mean, I'm just a loss for this season thus far,
00:28but it's good to have you on.
00:30Maybe you'll make me feel a little bit better.
00:32Well, look, hopefully we'll pull you up out of the doldrums.
00:35It's been a tough season for, I think, a lot of teams.
00:37It's almost as if that if you've avoided major injury
00:41with one of your best players,
00:43you're probably set up pretty well for the rest of the year.
00:46We lose Tyree Kill this week for the year.
00:48We lose Malik Neighbors this week for the year.
00:50We lost CeeDee Lamb for a couple weeks, Mike Evans.
00:53The list goes on and on and on.
00:55It never seems to end, Craig,
00:57but hopefully we can find some guys in the waiver wire.
00:59There can be some temporary holds for us,
01:01but it has been really difficult.
01:03I think those people who really paid attention
01:04and those deeper rosters right now are benefiting
01:07and those teams that are top heavy right now
01:08that don't look that good are in trouble for the rest of the year.
01:12I feel like it's, you know, I lost Joe Burrow,
01:16but I feel like, honestly,
01:19like I feel like Jamar Chase is out for the year, you know?
01:22Like that's what it sort of feels like with me playing.
01:24I mean, I have him too, you know?
01:27It's like, well, I mean, it's a disaster, but anyway, I digress.
01:31All right, so the fantasy winners from the week,
01:33obviously Mahomes finally gets back to 2022 Mahomes,
01:36four touchdowns, 270 yards.
01:39Maybe this is the start because they can't run the ball.
01:41Maybe this is what they'll do.
01:42Puka Nakua, so many targets, 13 catches, 170 yards and a touchdown.
01:46And then Ashton Gentry had three touchdowns for the Raiders,
01:50138 yards rushing and one touchdown.
01:54And most importantly, I think for Gentry,
01:55not so much those little touchdowns, Joe,
01:57but it was the fact that he broke a long run finally,
02:00like he used to do at Boise State.
02:02We've been waiting a month for that.
02:04Yeah, we've also been waiting for Chip Kelly
02:06to get his head out of his rear end and give him 20.
02:10That's the main thing here.
02:11And that's been a problem here.
02:12That's something we've been waiting for quite some time.
02:14We finally got it.
02:16And now look at the results, right?
02:17A terrific day for Mash and Gentry.
02:19And that's the idea.
02:20Like some running backs just have to keep getting the football more and more.
02:22We talked about it on this show a couple of weeks ago, right?
02:24We said, you've got to get these rookie guys, the football more.
02:28We know September is almost like a red shirt month here for the rookies.
02:32We saw it last year.
02:33We've seen it in recent memory too, since we've got to the 17 game season.
02:37And I think now we're in a spot where Travion Henderson,
02:39you're starting to see him get a little bit of that work at the goal line, right?
02:42Maybe the worm started to turn RJ Harvey,
02:43active a little bit last night.
02:45So patience will be rewarded with these guys.
02:48But Gentry was one of the best by lows.
02:50We talked about him last week on the show.
02:52Hopefully you did buy low on him.
02:53Patrick Mahomes getting Xavier Worthy back.
02:55In a couple of weeks, he's going to get Rushy Rice back.
02:57That is the secret sauce here.
02:59I mean, that's what this team desperately needs.
03:01More help at the wide receiver core.
03:03He's gotten that.
03:03They get Jacksonville this week.
03:04So hopefully that pushes forward.
03:06And then Puka Nakua.
03:07I don't know what more you could say.
03:08I mean, a terrific performance by him.
03:10He is the wide receiver one right now in fantasy.
03:12And, you know, it's funny.
03:13If you look at the two guys this year that have been the most consistent,
03:17it's Puka Nakua and it's Amon Ross St. Brown,
03:20two workhorse wide receivers.
03:22And what do they have in common, Craig?
03:24Unathletic quarterbacks that stand in the pocket and throw the football.
03:27That's pretty good.
03:28Those veteran guys sometimes just sit there and throw the football
03:30and don't have all the rushing equity or the sexy fantasy points.
03:33Guess what?
03:34Those guys can get the job done with those wide receivers.
03:36So perhaps a lesson for all of us to learn next year.
03:40Drafted Joe Burrow.
03:41Figured I'll have Trevor Lawrence as my backup just in case.
03:44That hasn't worked out.
03:45So I looked at the matchups this week.
03:47I looked at the waiver wire and said,
03:49all right, Geno Smith against the Bears?
03:51Sure.
03:52Why not?
03:53Three interceptions for Geno Smith.
03:56117 passing yards and two touchdowns.
03:59This is like shades of the Jets back in the day.
04:02Ravens defense can't stop anybody.
04:04And the Chargers have now lost their left tackle and their right tackle.
04:09So you've got to be a little concerned for Justin Herbert.
04:13Yeah, look, let's start here with Geno Smith.
04:15He's got seven interceptions that leads the league in picks this year.
04:19So certainly a good bet to make every single week is for him to throw a pick.
04:22And then whatever else you like in that football game,
04:25as an Ashton Gentry to score a touchdown,
04:26it's a pretty good day at the office right there if you're betting props.
04:29But that's the, beg the question at some point,
04:32you have to stop these turnovers.
04:33If Geno Smith doesn't turn things around quickly,
04:36maybe you do get a Kenny Pickett start at some point in the weeks ahead.
04:39So it's something in those super flex leagues where you're missing a lot of QBs
04:42or you don't like your QB situation or by week QBs,
04:45maybe get ahead of the curve here and throw Kenny Pickett on the bench for $0 this week
04:49and see how this week goes.
04:51But Geno has more picks than touchdowns this year.
04:54That's a problem for the Las Vegas Raiders.
04:56You mentioned the Chargers offensive line.
04:58That's also going to be a problem.
04:59It was one thing to lose Slater.
05:01That was, you know, devastating.
05:02But now, you know, when Joe Alt moves over to left tackle
05:05and now you lose him at left tackle for a couple of weeks,
05:08that's also a problem.
05:09The Chargers lost that football game.
05:11You know, the Chargers are a really good football team.
05:13I don't anticipate them to fall apart.
05:15But at the same time, you have to take stock of this offensive line
05:17and what it is right now with those injuries.
05:19So those are two major issues I think you have right now.
05:21And then the Ravens, things just keep getting worse.
05:24Matt Abikwe is now out for the year.
05:25That defensive tackle is so strong up the middle against the run.
05:28If you've got fantasy assets going against the Ravens right now,
05:32you play them because they're giving up points.
05:34They're going to have a hard time stopping the run.
05:36They have a hard time already stopping the pass.
05:38What I thought was going to be a really great Ravens team,
05:41a veteran team, a strong team going into this year,
05:44has been anything but.
05:45And now the Lamar Jackson injury on top of that,
05:47questionable for this week.
05:49It's really starting to pour on the Baltimore Ravens here,
05:52and we are barely into the month of October.
05:54Yeah, definitely the case with the Ravens without Lamar.
05:58With Lamar, I think they'll be okay, but without him, not as much.
06:01All right, so waiver wire this week.
06:04Last week, it was the Trey Benson waiver wire.
06:07This week, it is the Woody Marks waiver wire.
06:09So everybody who didn't get Benson,
06:11and you had a waiver spot or some money left,
06:14this is the week to go all in on this guy.
06:16If he is available, he looked great.
06:19And look, I understand, you know,
06:21certainly was against Tennessee this past week,
06:23but looks the part of a starting running back, 29% owned.
06:27Blake Corum, if you want to stash him for another season, go ahead.
06:30I chose not to.
06:31I couldn't do it for a whole nother year with him not playing.
06:33Brashard Smith, 6%.
06:35Troy Franklin of Denver.
06:36Romeo Dobbs keeps scoring touchdowns.
06:39Darius Slayton, 5%.
06:40Jalen Tolbert for Dallas.
06:42Of all the wide receivers, though, I got to tell you,
06:44I think the sneakiest ad is the last guy here, Isaiah Bond.
06:47I mean, I don't think he's going to get kicked off the Browns like he does.
06:49You know, I know he played at Alabama and he played at Texas.
06:52I mean, this is a superstar high school athlete
06:54who just couldn't figure it out in college
06:57and then even into the pros.
06:59But I really love that number, Joe.
07:013%.
07:02I'm absolutely picking him up this week
07:04and stashing him with Tillman on the shelf.
07:07Yeah, even if Tillman should return at some point,
07:09you could see the Baltimore, excuse me,
07:11the Cleveland Browns making some moves here at some point, too.
07:14They don't really look like a playoff team.
07:16Maybe you'll see Dylan Gabriel
07:17after this international game, too, take over.
07:20So Isaiah Bond is definitely, I'm in agreement,
07:22the guy that I'm definitely chasing and being aggressive on
07:24because I think he's got an opportunity
07:25to kind of be the guy going forward here in this offense.
07:29Jerry Judy hasn't done much.
07:31I think a lot of teams would be looking for Jerry Judy
07:33to add to their offense.
07:34I think you could see Isaiah Bond eventually
07:36with Tillman kind of win out long term.
07:38Woody Marks was a guy, actually,
07:39if you're watching Fantasy Sports today on Sundays,
07:41we talked about Sunday morning, adding him for free.
07:45The roster percentage was even lower than it is right now.
07:48And why?
07:49Because we're trying to get ahead of fab budgets.
07:51We're trying to get ahead of that and save you money.
07:53So Woody Marks was our number one waiver claim on Sunday.
07:56Unfortunately, now it's going to cost you
07:58basically half of your fab budget to get him on your roster.
08:02So it's going to be tough, but a terrific day for him.
08:04Joe Mixon doesn't look like he's coming back anytime soon.
08:07Nick Chubb looks like a shadow of himself.
08:10Some other guys here.
08:10Blake Corm is a guy that should be rostered.
08:12You should have a bench spot.
08:13He's working already in that backfield.
08:16And if something should happen to Kyron Williams,
08:17he would become incredibly valuable.
08:19The tricky one here are guys like Romeo Dobbs
08:22and even Kenneth Gainwell, who had a really good game.
08:24Both of them are on buys this week.
08:26So I see a lot of people look at those two names,
08:29look at the productivity and say,
08:30how much do I want to really spend on these guys?
08:32Because I can't even use them this week.
08:34I think Dobbs is still intriguing
08:36because Jaden Reed's going to be out a while.
08:38And Matthew Golden really hasn't gotten going so far this year.
08:42He needs to stop hitting the circle button.
08:44That's for sure.
08:45The spin button, not a good move here
08:46when you're returning punts.
08:48Just a quick reminder there, Matthew Golden.
08:50But again, some tricky things here.
08:52Some guys you can sneak through the waiver wire.
08:53Also, Jalen Coca returning hopefully soon
08:55for the Carolina Panthers.
08:57If you need some, we're looking for Darius Slayton.
09:00People are looking for some of these names here.
09:01So a lot of wide receiver names,
09:03but unfortunately, none of these guys
09:05that we're going to replace Tyreek Hill or more receivers.
09:07That's the problem here, Craig.

09:12Neighbors and Hill.
