In the Eye of the Storm spans the period of history between the revolutionary movement begun by Iran's national hero Mirza Koochak Khan in the early twentieth century, to the freedom of Khoramshahr during the eight-year war between Iran and Iraq in the 1980s. The story is told through the trials and tribulations, love and relationships of one family.

04:45BELL RINGS
05:45I don't know.
06:15They killed my wife.
06:22Three days, three weeks, or three months ago.
06:26It makes no difference.
06:27I saw her picture three days ago.
06:30It was eight minutes to eleven in the morning.
06:32That's all I remember.
06:36It was Lely herself.
06:39Hale.
06:39The bullet holes the firing squad put in her were clearly visible.
06:49One of the bullets had hit her straight in the heart.
06:51The photographer had taken the picture with such artistic commitment.
06:59It turned her chin to the right carefully.
07:01They must have wiped off the blood splattered on her face.
07:07If her eyes had been open,
07:13maybe I would have seen that even in those last moments,
07:18that Ryo Ishak's eyes still had her eyes fixed on those insurmountable peaks.
07:24Maybe in her eyes I would have seen regret.
07:26PIANO PLAYS
11:06I'll be back in time for you to serve supper.
11:09Thank you very much, Abbas.
11:10God give you strength, Abbas.
11:16God give you health.
11:18Hey, Uncle Abbas, this golem Karam Ali is still trying to warn Rana over, you know.
11:24Come on, son.
11:25Come on, son.
11:25Ignore him.
11:27He's burning with jealousy, Uncle Abbas.
11:30Mind your own business, son.
11:32But he's proposed to Rana.
11:33Rana has to say no, which she will.
11:35You better buy her, but you're going to go to the room.
11:40You should be a ship.
11:41Hello, Miss Rana.
11:42Hello there.
11:43Not Rana, call her aunt.
11:45I don't have an excuse to postpone to Rana.
11:46But you're not married yet, Uncle.
11:48We're engaged though, aren't we?
11:49And we will marry.
11:51Hello, Aunt Galnessa.
11:53Hello, pretty bride.
11:55Hasn't Bishan woken up yet?
11:57No.
11:58Does he sleep at night so that he can get up early?
12:00He doesn't sleep, but he doesn't let me sleep.
12:04He got me to read the whole story of Saurab's death to him.
12:09And he kept asking me,
12:11Grandfather, why did Rostam kill his own son?
12:14I told him, it's Saurabh.
12:17I can't change it.
12:20In the end, he fell asleep sobbing.
12:24Bishan.
12:26Bishan.
12:27Get up, son.
12:28Uncle Abbas is leaving.

12:34Uncle Abbas!
12:36Come!
12:38Come!
12:39Come!
12:52Hey, where are you off to?
12:55Let's see if your neck fills the curb of my stuff so I can find you a wife.
13:01No, it doesn't.
13:02Look, see.
13:03There's a lot to go.
13:04Uncle Abbas is leaving.
13:05Well, I'll take you like I always do.
13:07You walk slow.
13:08You walk slow.
13:08I want to walk with Uncle Abbas.
13:10Vanessa, come.
13:11Come.
13:11Your son's getting away.
13:13If you run off, who's going to help me?
13:16Yeah?
13:16Let me go, Grandfather.
13:18Let me go.
13:19You walk slowly.
13:20But I tell you stories.
13:22I don't want stories.
13:23Let me go.
13:23I'll collect hay until you come.
13:26How do I know you'll keep your promise?
13:27I beg you, Grandfather.
13:28Let me go.
13:29Let him go, Grandfather.
13:31Here, take this.
13:32You unfaithful boy.
13:35Eat it, won't you?
13:42Uncle Abbas.
13:43Uncle Abbas.
13:44Come, Bijan-san.
13:46Work is something you have to put your back into.
13:48As Grandpa always says, the head that prefers the pillow will never be held high.
13:54Come.
13:56Come on.
13:57Come on.
13:57Come on.
14:02I always say we shouldn't bring Bijan.
14:07He always gets in the way.
14:08Never mind, son.
14:10Hey, you were going to leave anyway.
14:12What if I go off to work in the woods like your father and the rest?
14:15Then what will you do, son?
14:17You won't go.
14:19Why not?
14:20Am I blind or crippled or something?
14:22I can't sit at home all day.
14:24Because of Rana.
14:25Because of Rana, you won't go.
14:27Oh, you cheeky devil.
14:28How many times must I tell you to call her aunt, not Rana, huh?
14:35When we're married and I bring her under one roof with me, I'll go with peace of mind.
14:39God give you strength, Abbas.
14:42And you help.
14:44I'll definitely go.
14:45I can't not go.
14:46She won't let you go.
14:48Well, don't tell her.
14:49Well, I don't want to tell, but she'll ask me.
14:52When I say I don't want you to tell her, say yes, uncle.
14:56If you make me plain, I won't tell.
14:59Oh, you cheeky devil.
15:01We've put you to so much trouble, Abbas.
15:04You wouldn't have to if only our dear Hesom would come back to his wife, eh?
15:09Give that to me.
15:11You know, I wish I was serving Mirza like Hesom.
15:14I wish I was serving Mirza.
