00:49said among key meetings was a bilateral with the Crown Prince of Kuwait discussion
00:55that centered on launching negotiations for a series of bilateral agreements.

01:05In an historic move, Minister Sean Sobers signed a visa exemption agreement with his UAE counterpart,
01:12a landmark step that will ease travel for diplomats and officials and soon ordinary passport holders as well.
01:18Later, Prime Minister Pesad-Besasa delivered Trinidad and Tobago's national statement at the U.N. General Assembly.
01:25She reaffirmed the country's commitment to multilateralism, peace and security, gender equality and sustainable development.
01:34She also voiced support for the U.S. military presence in the Southern Caribbean,
01:38citing its effectiveness in countering drug trafficking.
01:41And the momentum continued on September 27th.
01:45Prime Minister Pesad-Besasa held talks with U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres,
01:51discussing critical global issues from crime and security to climate change,
01:56women's rights and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
02:00Meanwhile, Minister Sobers and his parliamentary secretary, Nicholas Morris,
02:04engaged in bilateral talks with Rwanda's foreign minister.
02:07The result? A bilateral air services agreement set to improve air connectivity, trade and tourism between the two countries.
02:17Diplomatic relations were also formally established with Tunisia,
02:21marked with the signing of a joint communique, opening new doors for cooperation with North Africa.
02:27The day ended with a celebration of national pride,
02:31a special Republic Day service attended by the Trinidad and Tobago delegation
