00:00It is a strange tale, and there's no for sure answer on any of this, right?

00:06Because if one report said there's a setback, one was saying that there isn't,

00:09you've got to decide which one you want to believe.

00:11Vrabel's the one that first introduced the idea of even the contract being involved.

00:15Maybe Gonzalez is getting some bad advice, whatever it might be.

00:19I just think long-term, it's not ideal for Gonzalez's side

00:26because now not only does he have to go out there and play like he's a top-five corner,

00:30which hopefully he does for everybody's sake,

00:32but then at the end, when you're talking about handing out one of the biggest contracts in team history,

00:36it's not just on the field anymore.

00:39You have to factor in everything.

00:40Can we trust this guy?

00:42Is he someone that's going to play hard?

00:44Was he just kind of holding out until he got the money,

00:47but now we can trust him to go 100% all the time?

00:50Or is he going to be like, good, I got my money?

00:52I don't know.

00:53A lot of doubt would start to creep in on whether the guy's worth the money or not.

00:57I think that's totally fair.

00:58And I can see Gonzalez being frustrated with them.

01:01Maybe he's frustrated with the medical staff.

01:02He felt like they pushed him or the coaching staff pushed him to be out there

01:05when he felt he wasn't ready.

01:07I could also see him being like, guys, you can fill in the gaps on what's going on.

01:15So I can see lots of ways he's frustrated with them.

01:18I can also see lots of ways that Vrabel's frustrated with him.

01:26Well, the other part, and I think the more the losses pile up

01:29and the defense sucks, the more agitated Vrabel's going to be.

01:47The other key conspiracy on this would be he knows he needs to have an all-pro season

01:54to really get Sauce Gardner plus money.

01:57And he feels like, I need to be 110% to get back.

02:02It's like, I need to be beyond that to even play because I don't want to get torched on

02:05a touchdown and have you hold it against me.
