00:34How was the weekend off?

00:38It was good.

00:39Nice to get a couple days.

00:41You know, that's the hard part is the front end of a Thursday night game,

00:45but the benefit is the back end, so it's nice.

00:48You watched a lot of football yesterday,

00:50or do you sort of separate and spend more time with the family?

00:54It's a little balanced.

00:56When the kids are down, I try to watch a little ball,

00:58and then, you know, kids are up sometimes trying to lock in

01:02and spend time with them.

01:04When you had an opportunity to watch games, what were you watching?

01:08I watched the Bills and Buccaneers game a little bit,

01:12but I watched last night's game just a little bit.

01:14So when you watch a game, how different is it than, like,

01:17when I watch a game?

01:17When I watch the game, I'm like, where's the ball?

01:19Let me follow the ball around.

01:20I got my fantasy team up.

01:22I got my bets over here.

01:24So I'd imagine that's a little different than how you're watching.

01:26Are you looking at, like, are you, I mean, tight ends?

01:28Are you looking at how the defenses are covering that position?

01:31How do you watch it when it's not, like, the game breakdown in practice

01:34just sitting on the couch on TV?

01:37Yeah, yeah.

01:38Obviously, TV doesn't show a lot.

01:41I mean, obviously, it shows it front and kind of, you know,

01:44it's more zoomed in.

01:45But I watch it like a fan a lot of times.

01:48I mean, I follow the ball, too.

01:49I mean, that's all you can do since I was on TV.

01:51But also, you know, you watch a little bit of both.

01:54I mean, tight ends and guys you've, you know, played against for a long time

01:58and just different things like that.

02:00I mean, I watch the game probably a little differently.

02:03But at the same time, you know, there's a lot of players

02:05that still do the same thing as you guys.

02:08You've been reunited with Josh McDaniels.

02:11I'm curious, now that we're about midway through the year

02:14and a little chance to reflect a few days removed from the game,

02:16what differences, if any, have you seen out of Josh in his return to New England

02:21this year and the offense this year versus the last time you played for him?

02:26I mean, I think, obviously, using Drake's abilities with the movement game

02:31has probably been a lot different.

02:33Just with, obviously, his mobility and chance to create things on the edge

02:38and out of the pocket a little bit more.

02:40So that's probably been the main thing.

02:42What would you say about the team's chemistry right now?

02:45Because from the outside, it seems like everybody is very much on the same page.

02:49And specifically on offense, you guys have a really good mix of, you know,

02:53rookie, second-year guys, but then a bunch of guys like you

02:56and Stephon Diggs and Morgan Moses that have got a lot of years of experience

03:00in the league.

03:03Yeah, I think it's a fun balance, man.

03:04You know, the young guys keep us young.

03:06You know, we try to influence them in a lot of ways how we see things.

03:10So it's been a fun balance, man.

03:12I'm curious, and maybe you can settle a debate for us.

03:15We were talking about Jamar Chase, allegedly, although video seems to show it,

03:19spitting on Jalen Ramsey.

03:21We were talking about, is that the most disrespectful thing one player can do

03:24to another?

03:24Would you say that is the most disrespectful thing, or are we missing something?

03:29It's pretty, I mean, it's definitely disrespectful for sure.

03:33Nothing that I've done in my career, that's for sure.

03:35Well, then it also started with a punch, and the question's always asked,

03:40like punching somebody that's wearing a helmet seems to be diminishing returns.

03:46Yeah, yeah, there's, it's definitely, sometimes not always the first,

03:51it shouldn't be the first reaction, that's for sure.

03:53How much have you started up on the Bengals and gotten into Bengals week

03:57coming up on Sunday?

03:58A little bit, a little bit.

04:01Not a ton, but we'll hammer them down, you know, and be ready to go come Sunday.

04:06I think we forgot to ask you last week going into the game,

04:08but we saw the Nor'easter uniforms for the first time,

04:11those blues with the white helmets.

04:12What did you think of those?

04:15They were pretty sweet, man.

04:17Some of my favorites I've worn in my career, for sure.

04:21Hopefully we can rock those again at some point.
