00:04uh but i like the follow-up on travion henderson had a hold vrabel vrabel said he expects him to

00:10do something in practice there was a follow-up question about travion henderson yeah he's holding

00:18to try to teach him not to hold he's like yeah i missed i heard the henderson part and i just

00:21i was ready to spike a remote in here uh but okay he expects him to do something in practice

00:26could he play this week sure curran got into a whole exchange of them about uh injury information

00:32and how much you should offer up and why vrabel won't give out timelines etc and then there was

00:36a follow-up question even later on where he was asked about gonzo's mindset he got a little snippy

00:42with this he said guys locker room's gonna be open in a little bit go ask him so maybe we'll hear from

00:46gonzalez uh in a few minutes or at least we'll get some quotes from him and whatever else so he's if

00:50he's available that to me is pretty telling you know obviously once he's out on the field we'll get a

00:55practice report then we'll really know but yeah if he's just made available on the heels of being

00:59on good morning football it's good maybe maybe he's out there that is good so i i feel like if

01:04he's out there today and he said he'll do some things that strikes me as a he'll pop up as limited

01:09on the on the injury reports that would be my based on listening to vrabel there and i i didn't think

01:14this would be the case so i was wrong about this but listening to variable i agree i'd expect him now

01:17to be limited and then not only that but i feel like it it does put this sunday in play

01:22and then i would say the following sunday barring a setback which maybe there already was a setback

01:27we don't really know then it'd be almost guaranteed that he plays week four if you start practicing now

01:32oh he's i can see them maybe missing this sunday's game but you don't practice you don't have six

01:35practices i'm sure there are some examples and we could point to it and be like well that guy did

01:39that but for the most part if he has six practices under his belt even if they're all limited i feel like

01:44that game against carolina he could be out there i would say again let's see the practice report

01:49today i mean rape that's what vrabel just said yeah he's gonna go do some stuff what is is that

01:53on the side like what is that is he gonna stretch what what does that mean but it's more than it was

01:57it's definitely more than it was so that's very encouraging i'd say if he's out there today even

02:01in limited capacity he could play this weekend he should definitely play against carolina and okay

02:06well that's quite that's quite an abrupt change from current yesterday saying buffalo very exciting

02:11and uh i don't know kind of wondering where he was at vrabel did still get a little annoyed

02:16there but that that one i would say is lashing out lesa gonzalez and morat well guys i'm not gonna

03:11available but but he's limited in practice today that's a great sign the only people that could

03:23about vrabel jumping in the pile even though he wasn't practicing there you go yeah let's get under

03:35think about his answer about uh and i thought we were playing semantics uh somebody asked him about

03:40drake may motivating him and he's like well not we don't want to motivate him we want to try to

03:44inspire him yeah he's like you don't motivate pro athletes i mean i don't know it is very semantics

03:49i feel like that was semantics i'd like to think what vrabel was trying to do there and i'll give him

03:53some slack on this i'd like to think he doesn't want to be seen as taking credit for what something

04:00that a player is doing i did feel like it was an odd answer though because didn't he say something to

04:04the effect of like if your motivation is to win a title it's like i don't know that's sort of the

04:09baseline for everybody and i know unfortunately it's not he also was like yeah your motivations

04:13to date that cheerleader even better he said yeah i guess uh but i i'd like to think maybe i

04:19gotta give it a re-listen but i'd like to think what he meant there was well yeah i mean if drake

04:23plays well it's not because of me motivating him i like that is what he was at least trying to say

04:27there that could be right anything else jump out yeah those are the two all the gonzo stuff and

04:31then the mindset stuff with drake were the two yeah i think another one would be terrell williams

04:35oh yeah it seems like he's improved but it may be another situation where zach kerr is in charge

04:41of the defense again on sunday i think definitely almost definitely say he's feeling better he's

04:45around want to get some continuity situation will probably be fluid yeah got to stick to the same

04:49plan as last week we don't want to get into a situation where he's not out there one week and

04:53then out there the following week and basically okay you know you want to get him right but you also

04:58want to be fair to the players and give them some consistency and some that's tough that's not

05:02not ideal for anybody involved but that's what they're dealing with right now he was also asked

05:06about giving a game ball to andy borg allis after he missed two kicks oh yeah make the 53 yarder oh

05:11sorry that was quick to point out that he was like hey they uh we play a lot of rookies and i think

05:15they're gonna have to rely on the rookies because a lot of the second year players aren't even on the

05:19team anymore it's really just drake may the third you got like you've had these bad draft classes

05:23you're leaning more on the rookies and i think he knows he's gonna have to build them up like you're

05:27gonna have games like week one where campbell and wilson both you're like i don't know and then they were both

05:32great week too and so you and i it's easy for us to be like get rid of borg allis see you later

05:36but like they drafted him they're committed to him it was a horrible start yeah but he stuck with

05:43him hit the 53 yarder wanted to sort of get behind him in the uh in the post game and we'll see what

05:48the benefits of that are i i also thought that was a very disingenuous answer about borg allis he's

05:52like well everybody notices when the kicker misses the kick it's like well of course what's he play

05:56seven snaps a game of course he's like well you know you got a false start out there people uh maybe

06:00noticed that the old lineman it's like yeah what percentage of plays will campbell play screw up

06:05on 60 snaps yeah morgan moses played 60 how many does the stupid kicker play so i mean to me that's

06:11just a very six seven or eight good call at most yeah so that was just a very disingenuous answer

06:17like oh everybody notices when the kicker misses the kick of course that's yeah that's yeah sort of

06:21the nature of he's not out there that much always has been always will be make the kick no no also

06:25these weren't 60 yard field goals these were extra points so yeah we're gonna notice yep also like

06:31we've all been saying since uh late afternoon sunday they need to work on tackling and he even

06:37like acknowledged that like that's gonna be like a point of emphasis this week now i don't know what

06:42that means i don't know i don't think you're really gonna be taking guys to the ground too much

06:45maybe you do maybe and the other thing i don't want to hear and current even did some of this

06:48yesterday he's like well you know you don't hit like you used to in practice the patriots

06:52definitely didn't and rabel did that by design they barely were ever in full pads they were not

06:58uh thudding they were not taking people to the ground they did none of that so you know that's

07:03the excuse and people want to lean in on that well then look at variable on that one uh but i would

07:08tell you it's encouraging now on christian gonzalez that he could be out there this weekend i went from

07:13no chance to now i'm kind of leaning listening to rabel there that he's probably out there this weekend

07:17if he's out there how much does that change your stance on their chances this week let's say oh even better

07:22fast forward to sunday yeah i already i already felt like they'd win this game uh but i feel much

07:26stronger about that if he's out there oh much stronger because it feels like you know even if

07:31he's out there and we saw it when he was in seattle but dk mecca you can have like good stop good stop

07:3760 yard touchdown to dk mecca you're like oh like you're doing everything well you're about to force a

07:41punt and then he has a 60 yard touchdown you have galley gonzalez out there well that chance still still in

07:47play but it goes down significantly okay first question too was about winning back to back i think

07:51gonzo gives him a better chance to do that i like actually rabel's answer a lot about that because

07:55he's been asked that was good too he's just like listen there are a lot of stats out there that i'm

07:59not super familiar with nor do i need to be basically because it's like a lot of stats i'm not familiar

08:03with or concerned with yeah which is true because like it's hey this hasn't happened since 2022 he's

08:08like great i wasn't here for that i wasn't here last year wasn't here the year before there are a lot

08:12of bad stats about not winning back-to-back games not winning you know not having a winning season

08:17like all these different ones that you can present to him but he really shouldn't care about it

08:22doesn't affect him robert craft might be more interested in it he's been he's lived through all

08:26i'd say it'd be it'd be it's a it should be a good goal of his to put an end to some of those streaks

08:32well yeah but those are those are not his fault that's true
