00:00In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, peace be with you.
00:19We acknowledge our sins, but more importantly, the compassion, the mercy, and the love of God.
00:25You are our strength and our hope. Lord, have mercy. You turn to good everything for those who love you. Christ, have mercy.
00:36Your gentle love is bigger than our fears. Lord, have mercy. May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and lead us into healing and life everlasting. Let us pray.
00:50O God, who founded all the commands of your sacred law, upon love of you and our neighbor, granted by keeping your precepts, we may merit to attain eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.
01:12A reading from the book of Ezra.
01:42From the days of our ancestors until now, our guilt has been great on account of our crimes.
01:49We, our kings and our priests, were given unto the power of the kings of other countries, given to the sword, to captivity, to pillage, and to shame, as is the case today.
02:03But now, suddenly, the Lord, our God, by his favor, has left us a remnant and granted us a refuge in his holy place.
02:13This is how our God has cheered our eyes and given us a little respite in our slavery.
02:18For we are slaves, but God has not forgotten us in our slavery.
02:24He has shown us kindness in the eyes of the kings of Persia, obtaining permission for us to rebuild the temple of our God and restore its ruins.
02:35And he has found us safety and shelter in Judah and in Jerusalem.
02:40The word of the Lord.
02:43Thanks be to God.
02:45Blessed be God who lives forever.
02:48Blessed be God who lives forever.
02:50God punishes.
02:52He also has mercy.
02:53He leads us to the depths of the grave and restores us from the great destruction.
02:59No one can escape his hand.
03:02Blessed be God who lives forever.
03:04It is he who has gathered us among the nations.
03:07Among them must we show forth his greatness.
03:10And exalt him in the presence of all living.
03:13For he is our Lord and our God, our Father, our God forever.
03:18Blessed be God who lives forever.
03:21Now think what he has done for you.
03:24Give thanks to him with all your voice.
03:27Give praise to the Lord for his justice.
03:29And exalt the King of all ages.
03:32Blessed be God who lives forever.
03:34In this land of exile, I will thank him and show forth his greatness and might to the race of sinful people.
03:43Blessed be God who lives forever.
03:46Sinners, come back to him.
03:48Do what is right before him.
03:50Who knows, but he will receive you with pity.
03:53Blessed be God forever.
03:55Alleluia, alleluia.
03:57The kingdom of God is near.
04:00Repent and believe the good news.
04:02Alleluia.
04:03The Lord be with you.
04:10A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke.
04:12Glory to you, O Lord.
04:14Jesus called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all devils and to cure diseases.
04:23And he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal.
04:27He said to them,
04:29Take nothing for the journey, neither staff nor haversack, no bread, no money, and let none of you take a spare tunic.
04:38Whatever house you enter, stay there, and when you leave, let it be from there.
04:45As for those who do not welcome you when you leave their town, shake the dust from your feet as a sign to them.
04:53So they set out and went from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing everywhere.
04:59The gospel of the Lord.
05:07Praise to you, O Lord Jesus Christ.
05:09Jesus gave, sent them out to heal, to heal physically, spiritually, to overcome the power of evil.
05:17And we share in that mission today.
05:20We are called to be good news by the way we love, forgive, are a sacrament of God's unconditional love.
05:27We are called to witness to the amazing love of our God.
05:41Blessed are you, O Lord God of all creation, for to your goodness we have this bread to offer,
05:46which earth has given human hands and made.
05:48It will become for us the bread of life.
05:51Blessed be God forever.
05:57Blessed are you, O Lord God of all creation, for to your goodness we have this wine to offer,
06:15fruit of divine work of human hands.
06:18It will become our spiritual drink.
06:21Blessed be God forever.
06:22Amen.
06:22Let us pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, our almighty Father.
06:36May the Lord accept this sacrifice from our hands, that we praise in glory of God's name,
06:41for our good and the good of God's holy church.
06:45Receive with favor, O Lord, we pray, the offerings of your people,
06:48that what they profess in devotion and faith may be theirs through these heavenly mysteries.
06:54Through Christ our Lord.
06:56Amen.
07:00The Lord be with you.
07:03Lift up your hearts.
07:05Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
07:07It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation.
07:13Always and everywhere to give you thanks, Father most holy,
07:17for your beloved Son, Jesus Christ,
07:20your word for whom you made all things,
07:22whom you sent as our Savior and Redeemer,
07:25incarnate by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin.
07:29Fulfilling your will and gaining for you a holy people,
07:32he stretched out his hands as he endured his passion,
07:35so as to break the bonds of death and manifest the resurrection.
07:40And so, with the angels and all the saints,
07:42we declare your glory, as with one voice we acclaim,
07:46Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of hosts.
07:50Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
07:52Hosanna in the highest.
07:54Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
07:58Hosanna in the highest.
08:00You are indeed holy, O Lord, the font of all holiness.
08:03Make holy therefore these gifts, we pray,
08:06by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall,
08:10so that they may become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
08:15At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion,
08:19he took bread, and giving thanks, broke it,
08:22and gave it to his disciples, saying,
08:25Take this, all of you, and eat of it,
08:27for this is my body, which will be given up for you.
08:31In a similar way, when supper was ended,
08:39he took the chalice.
08:41And once more, giving thanks,
08:43he gave it to his disciples, saying,
08:46Take this, all of you, and drink from it,
08:48for this is the chalice of my blood,
08:51the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
08:54which will be pulled out for you,
08:56and for many, for the forgiveness of sins.
08:59Do this in memory of me.
09:02The mystery of faith.
09:10Save us, Savior of the world,
09:12for by your cross and resurrection,
09:14you have set us free.
09:16Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection,
09:20we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation,
09:25giving thanks that you have held us worthy
09:27to be in your presence and minister to you.
09:31Humbly we pray,
09:32that partaking of the body and blood of Christ,
09:35we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
09:39Remember, Lord, your church, spread throughout the world,
09:42and bring her to the fullness of charity,
09:45together with Cleo, our Pope,
09:47me, your unworthy servant,
09:49and all the clergy.
09:51Remember also our brothers and sisters
09:54who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection,
09:57and all who have died in your mercy.
10:00Welcome them into the light of your face.
10:03Have mercy on us all, we pray,
10:05that with the blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
10:08blessed Joseph, her spouse,
10:10with the blessed apostles,
10:12and all the saints who have preached you throughout the ages,
10:16we may, through your grace,
10:17merit to be coerced to eternal life,
10:19and may praise and glorify you,
10:22through your Son, Jesus Christ.
10:27Through him and with him and in him,
10:29O God, almighty Father,
10:30in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
10:32all glory and honor is yours forever and ever.
10:35Amen.
10:39At the Savior's command,
10:41and formed by divine teaching,
10:42we dare to say,
10:44Our Father,
10:45who art in heaven,
10:46hallowed be thy name,
10:48thy kingdom come,
10:50thy will be done on earth,
10:51as it is in heaven.
10:53Give us this day our daily bread,
10:56and forgive us our trespasses,
10:58as we forgive those who trespass against us,
11:02and lead us not into temptation,
11:04but deliver us from evil.
11:06Deliver us, Lord, we pray,
11:08from every evil,
11:09graciously grant peace in our days,
11:11that by the help of your mercy,
11:14we may be always free from sin,
11:16and safe from all distress,
11:18as we await the blessed hope,
11:20and the coming of our Savior,
11:22Jesus Christ.
11:23For the kingdom,
11:25the power,
11:25and the glory are yours,
11:27now and forever.
11:29Lord Jesus Christ,
11:31who said to your apostles,
11:33Peace I leave you,
11:34my peace I give you.
11:35Look not on our sins,
11:37but on the faith of your church,
11:38and graciously grant her peace and unity,
11:42in accordance with your will,
11:44who live and reign forever and ever.
11:46Amen.
11:47The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ
11:49be with you always.
11:51Let us offer each other a sign of peace.
11:54Peace be with you all.
11:56Lamb of God,
11:58you take away the sins of the world,
12:00have mercy on us.
12:02Lamb of God,
12:03you take away the sins of the world,
12:05have mercy on us.
12:08Lamb of God,
12:08you take away the sins of the world,
12:11grant us peace.
12:29Behold the Lamb of God,
12:30who takes away the sins of the world,
12:32happy are those who are called
12:33to the Supper of the Lamb.
12:35Lord,
12:36I am not worried you should enter under my roof,
12:38but only say the word,
12:40and my soul shall be healed.
12:43My Jesus,
12:44I believe that you are present
12:45in the most blessed sacrament.
12:48I love you above all things,
12:49and I desire to receive you into my soul.
12:53Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
12:56comely,
12:56spiritually,
12:57into my heart,
12:58I embrace you as if you were already there,
13:01and unite myself wholly to you.
13:04Never permit me to be separated from you.
13:07Amen.
13:08Let us pray.
13:13Graciously raise up, O Lord,
13:15those you renew with this sacrament,
13:17that we may come to possess your redemption,
13:20both in mystery and in the manner of our life.
13:23Through Christ our Lord.
13:24Amen.
13:25The Lord be with you.
