00:00The Sabah government has absolute authority to decide whether to bar travellers from entering

00:09Hajiji said this includes businessman Albert Teh, who was barred from entering Sabah yesterday

00:15before being allowed in for a two-day period.

00:18Teh is standing trial in the Special Corruption Court on two charges of giving RM350,000 in

00:24bribes to two assemblymen related to mineral prospecting license applications in Sabah.

00:31Hajiji said such actions are only taken after receiving complete reports from security authorities.

00:38Earlier, Teh's lawyer Mahajoth Singh said his client arrived at the Kota Kinabalu International

00:44Airport at 12.30pm yesterday, as he had a case mentioned today.

00:49Mahajoth claimed Teh was detained upon arrival and later allowed to enter after presenting

00:55documents showing he had court proceedings to attend.
