00:00Sabah Chief Minister Haji J. Noor and his state government had never interfered in the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission's investigation into the alleged mining scandal in the state.
00:13MACC Chief Commissioner Azam Baki said the anti-graft agency had recorded Haji J.'s statement twice.
00:20He said the only individual yet to be questioned is the person involved in the video clips leaked by the purported whistleblower.
00:27Azam also said the MACC forensic team was still analyzing 10 new videos linked to the scandal to determine whether they had been edited or doctored.
00:37In February, Azam said the initial batch of videos on the alleged scandal lacked credibility as they had been heavily edited.
00:45Separately, Azam said he will accept any decision the government makes over his contract, which will end next month.
00:52Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim recently denied a Bloomberg report, saying that he was expected to approve a six-month extension of Azam's service, saying no decision had been made.
