Chief commissioner Azam Baki says the agency will immediately investigate Albert Tei’s claim that he gave bribes to the former senior aide to the prime minister.

00:30In a statement, MACC Chief Commissioner Azam Baki said the anti-graph agency would summon Tay and Shamsul to give their statements.
00:39Shamsul quit as Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's senior aide yesterday, citing attempts to attack him through controversies which he said could have a negative impact on the government's image.
00:49Tay also shared screenshots of WhatsApp conversations where Shamsul allegedly requested foreign currency from the businessman before travelling overseas.
00:59In June, Tay was charged with two counts of giving bribes to two assemblymen involving the Sabah mining scandal.
