00:01Previously on Project Runway All Stars.
00:03You'll be shopping at the Rue des Agenoux in Paris.
00:09The fact that the designers of Valentino
00:11are showing us their beautiful work is unheard of.
00:15I can't quite see this dress yet.
00:17It could be a gladiator alligator meets a Sicilian widow.
00:20It ain't working.
00:21I throw the dress on the floor.
00:26I love this dress.
00:27I love the long sleeve.
00:29It's simple elegance.
00:31She looks divine.
00:32Anthony Ryan is the winner of this week's challenge.
00:35Emilio, you're safe.
00:37Uli and Joshua, we have one more challenge.
00:41Deconstruct your gown and reinvent it
00:43into something completely different.
00:46Joshua, that dress is so nice.
00:48This dress has a lightness to it now.
00:50We were like, we hate the lining,
00:52and now you made the whole dress out of lining.
00:55Uli, you're in.
00:58Which means I'm sorry, Joshua.
00:59You are out.
01:0013 of the best designers from Project Runway are back.
01:06Back for more.
01:07Back for blood.
01:09Admit it, you missed them.
01:11This time, the competition is tougher than ever.
01:14This is war.
01:17Each week, their skills are tested to the limit.
01:19Hideous or fabulous.
01:22This is not a game.
01:23Nothing gets past me.
01:24Who will be cut and who will have it all sewn up?
01:28This is Project Runway All Stars.
01:32The winning designer will have the chance to create a custom-branded capsule collection with
01:35Nine West.
01:36The winner will also receive a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine and a position as
01:40contributing editor for one year.
01:43From Laura Mercier, an all-expenses-paid trip around the world to Fashion Week such as Paris,
01:47London, Milan, and Tokyo.
01:49A technology suite and office space from HP and Intel to bring their creativity to life
01:54and run their business.
01:55A sewing and embroidery studio from Brother Sewing and Embroidery to help launch their line.
02:00And a cash prize of $150,000.
02:03I made it.
02:09The last woman standing.
02:11This is like the biggest prize in the history of Project Runway.
02:14Now I want this so bad.
02:16Hello, designers.
02:17Hi.
02:18I never in a million years thought I would be here.
02:21I mean, I'm up against Uli and Emilio.
02:23They're both older than me, they have much more experience than me, and they're out for
02:29blood.
02:30Three months ago, 13 All-Stars started this competition.
02:34Only three of you are left.
02:36Wow.
02:37The best way for a designer to present their work is with a high-profile runway show.
02:42Your final challenge is to design a mini collection to showcase your talent.
02:47A designer usually spends months slaving away to create his collection, but you will get
02:54just four days.
02:56Oh.
02:57Wow.
02:58Four days to create a collection that can change my life.
03:02That's a lot of pressure.
03:04You'll have free reign to create whatever kind of show you want.
03:08The theme, the music, and the number of pieces that you decide to show.
03:13Oh.
03:14Wow.
03:15In five days' time, your runway show must be ready to go.
03:18Oh.
03:19Your budget for your collection is $3,000.
03:22But before you shop, why don't you head back to the night hotel to clear your heads and think
03:28about your collections.
03:29You have a lot of work ahead of you, so lots and lots of luck.
03:34Thank you so much.
03:35Oh, it's the last time we'll see her walk away.
03:43All righty.
03:45The theme of my mini-collection is going to be Winter Wonderland.
03:50It just sounds fun.
03:52I'm going to stick with lots of white and ivory
03:54because so far this season I've done pretty well with those colors.
03:59This prize would not only change my life,
04:02but it would change my entire family's life.
04:04The theme of my mini-collection is called Urban Plantation,
04:08about working women in America.
04:10My mother worked in a factory for 30 years,
04:12but a lot of times that type of woman is not looked up to in fashion.
04:17So I chose to do a collection that's rooted in men's work clothing
04:22because that's what a lot of women had to wear in the 40s.
04:25So I've decided that the name of my collection is going to be The Thin Line.
04:28It's really that fine line between that dark and that light place
04:32that you balance yourself between.
04:34Let's do this. Time to shop.
04:36The money is great, but the time is not.
04:44I'm freaking out.
04:45Don't freak out.
04:46I want, like, lots of light colors, maybe a print.
04:50Ooh, no.
04:52The judges have loved what I've done so far.
04:54I'm just going to give them a little bit more in the design
04:56and the overall feel of the collection.
04:58All right, guys, ten more minutes.
05:03Oh, red, white, and blue.
05:04I'm designing an American collection,
05:07so I'm using classic American fabrics.
05:10I committed myself to a print.
05:12That's huge.
05:13Cottons, denims, plaids.
05:16It's not just about making pretty clothing.
05:18I want to make a statement.
05:19Controversial.
05:21That's where we're going.
05:22All right, guys, that's time.
05:24I'm excited.
05:25Thank you, Moo.
05:33Wow.
05:34Oh.
05:39Hello, designers.
05:40So Carolyn walks in, and I'm like,
05:42girl, we don't have time for this.
05:43What do you want?
05:45No twists.
05:46I don't see a button bag.
05:47What is she doing?
05:48I know you're going to do a fantastic job,
05:50but at this crucial stage,
05:52even all-stars need a helping hand.
05:54So we've invited some familiar faces
05:57back into the workroom to help you.
06:03Hello.
06:04Hi.
06:05My God, you all look so rusted.
06:06You can pick one fellow designer
06:08to assist you in making your collection.
06:10Anthony Ryan, you won last week's challenge,
06:13so who would you like to help you out?
06:15I want to say this one.
06:19Would you like to come back?
06:26I love, love, love you,
06:28and I respect you so much as a designer,
06:30but I'm just right now a little too tired to...
06:36You really have to be in a dark place
06:38when you choose not to help your best friend
06:42reach his goal.
06:43Joshua is more hurt than he lets on.
06:46It's almost kind of hurt my feelings in a way,
06:48but it may have just been best for both of us.
06:51I would like to work with Kane.
06:53I think Kane's overall skill set
06:55and where he was in the competition,
06:57he's well-rested and ready for a battle.
07:00Anthony Ryan, who would you like to choose next?
07:02Ugly, go ahead.
07:03Casanova, would you like to come back and help me?
07:06Yes, because I'm glamorous.
07:11And finally, Emilio, who will you choose?
07:14Althea.
07:17I chose Althea because she made it all the way
07:19to the finale of her own season.
07:21So having two designers who know what it takes
07:23to put on a great show, that's a huge advantage.
07:26We all know what's at stake here.
07:29So keep working, good luck, and I'll see you soon.
07:32Good luck, guys.
07:34As soon as I saw this print, I knew I loved it.
07:37Seven looks as good.
07:39Eight if I really have an extra time.
07:42Six to eight.
07:43Six to eight.
07:44If you're six, you might look lazy.
07:45You know I love fitted.
07:46Right.
07:47So you need to just like...
07:48I love boxing.
07:49I know.
07:50So that's gonna...
07:51I'll do my best.
07:52Yeah.
07:53So the bottom line, I just want you to win.
07:54Okay, what do you want me to do at the first?
07:55Like patterns?
07:56I think I started right now.
07:57Because I never do patterns.
08:00You know what?
08:01I just draped it.
08:02Working with Casanova is definitely different,
08:05because he works very much by the book.
08:07So I really need my toolbox.
08:09Toolbox?
08:10She have nothing.
08:11Look.
08:12Everybody knows.
08:13I thought that was from your daughter.
08:15Go to the shower care.
08:16All right, you want me to start draping the pant?
08:18Yes.
08:19So I'm gonna make the pocket,
08:20and make sure it's exactly which one.
08:22Round it out.
08:23Round it out.
08:24Yeah, but not too big, you know.
08:25Right.
08:26So many times in fashion,
08:27people like look to these socialites,
08:28and these people as like inspiration,
08:30and you're like, no, it's the working woman.
08:32My mom worked her entire life in a factory.
08:3430 years.
08:35See, that's the real heroes.
08:36You know what I mean?
08:37Like, the real people you should be looking up to.
08:38Exactly.
08:39See, I never do these.
08:41What?
08:42I never do them all soon.
08:44For me, it's so easy.
08:45Yeah.
08:46And everything is like flawless.
08:47Yeah.
08:48Look at you.
08:49Yeah, it fits really nice.
08:51What's the goal?
08:52Get all the patterns done tonight,
08:53or what are we trying to...
08:54What's like the...
08:55I think we should just keep going until...
08:56We can't go anymore.
08:57Yeah.
08:58I'm a little nervous that Uli and Anthony Ryan
09:00are quickly onto fabric.
09:03We don't have anything cut.
09:05I'm very stressed.
09:06I have a lot of work to do.
09:12Coming up on Project Runway All Stars...
09:15I'm not sure what Casanova is doing.
09:18I would be scared.
09:19We have to show a collection in two and a half days.
09:22I have so much to do.
09:24I'm not gonna lose it.
09:25I am not gonna lose it.
09:26I am not gonna lose it.
09:35Day two.
09:36Here we go.
09:37So much to do.
09:38This last challenge requires us to create not only a collection, but put together a show.
09:45We get to create whatever we want.
09:47There is no constrictions or regulations.
09:52Take them off, hang them up, and start another one.
09:58I'm not sure what Casanova is doing.
10:06He's like a baby, you know?
10:08They function for a while really well.
10:10They're high energy, and then they need food and sleep.
10:13You just have to walk around that.
10:15I question Casanova's dedication to helping Uli achieve her goal.
10:22I'm sure this it could do for Uli.
10:25What about, like, pressing?
10:26You know what I mean?
10:27Yeah.
10:28Little stuff.
10:29For me, sewing is like having sex.
10:31You need to be in the mood and motivated.
10:33And right now, I was in vacation, so I was not expecting to do that again.
10:41Hello, designers.
10:42Hello.
10:43What an extraordinary three months.
10:46There are three of you left.
10:48You're designing your own show and your own collection.
10:52I can't wait to see what you're doing.
10:54Uli, I'm going to come to you first.
10:56Hi, Joanna.
10:57Hi, Uli.
10:58We all know I love white and feathers,
11:00so I thought of, like, Mystic Winter or Winter Wonderland.
11:03So I have a lot of off-white, white, and some fake furs.
11:09Uli's got so many pieces over there.
11:10I don't know what she's using.
11:12I just laugh because she always constantly is wanting to change something.
11:15This would get a belt and just, like, a skinny head.
11:18It's fantastic.
11:19I love that jacket.
11:20What I love about this is that it's very coherent.
11:22I can totally understand the girl who wears it,
11:25but remember, it's a runway show,
11:27so you need at least one spectacular piece.
11:29Yes, thank you.
11:30All right, good luck.
11:31I can't wait to see it,
11:32and then I want you to save that little vest for me.
11:34Oh, I will.
11:39Hey, Miss Joanna.
11:40Anthony, Ryan.
11:41I was looking at this from afar,
11:43trying to figure out what's pulling it all together.
11:45What's the name?
11:46It feels very graphic.
11:47Well, I kind of got inspired by the last challenge,
11:49just that darkness.
11:50So it's this whole idea of taking something innocent
11:53and creating some chaos within it.
11:55This is a competition,
11:57so you have to be strategic in what you showed.
12:00How many dresses can a woman buy from the same line
12:04if they all look the same?
12:05The yellow skirt with the black peplum.
12:07Mm-hmm.
12:08How are we feeling about that?
12:09I was worried about it being too bumblebee in the end,
12:12but it almost has this very speed racer feel to it,
12:15and I actually kind of really like that.
12:17It's going to be a great show.
12:18I can't wait to watch it.
12:19Thank you, Miss Joanna.
12:20All right.
12:21Hello, Joanna.
12:22Hello, Emilio.
12:23So this looks fantastically organized.
12:24I'm still working on the order.
12:26I'm not really sure how Emilio's doing.
12:28He didn't have anything to go on the mannequin,
12:30and honestly, I would be scared.
12:32We have to show a collection in two and a half days.
12:36What's the concept of it?
12:38The collection is called Urban Plantation.
12:40Okay.
12:41And the inspiration is women to the workforce
12:44from Plantation, Aunt Jemima, to Rosie the Riveter.
12:49I think it's probably the first time in Project Runway
12:51that I've heard that, and it's really exciting.
12:54I think so.
12:55All right.
12:56Good luck.
12:58Designers, I found it so inspiring
12:59to come and mentor you here in the workroom
13:01for the last three months, and I wish you the best of luck.
13:04Use every single second you have.
13:08Thank you, Joanna.
13:09Hi, how are you?
13:10I'm Uli.
13:11I'm Martine.
13:12Very nice meeting you.
13:13Very nice to meet you.
13:14I want to keep them light, fresh, wintery.
13:16Luminous, yeah.
13:17Yeah.
13:18I just really trust Laura Mercy with the right styling,
13:21like the right makeup can make or break a look.
13:24You can do a very pale but luminescent skin,
13:27and then we can achieve it with powders and other creams.
13:30Perfect.
13:31It's very American, huh?
13:32Very American.
13:33We should keep it modern but go retro.
13:35Yes.
13:36Go with the red lip, beautiful skin, beautiful eyebrows,
13:39and then keep everything else very clean.
13:41Maybe even using this idea of pointillism
13:43to kind of give that idea of the specs.
13:46Okay.
13:47The whole thing is just gray.
13:48Right.
13:49You'll look really chic that way.
13:50Oh my God.
13:51Oh my God.
13:52Oh my God.
13:53Take it.
13:54Take it.
13:55Okay, guys.
13:56That's it.
13:57Let's go back to my hotel.
13:58Oh.
13:59Day two is over.
14:00Fudge.
14:01Thanks, babe.
14:02Get your bag.
14:03We gotta go.
14:04So tired.
14:05Amazing.
14:12Yee-haw.
14:13So let's make a toast for you guys, the finalists.
14:18The final three.
14:19Absolutely.
14:20Cheers.
14:21Thanks for coming back and getting up so early
14:23and being in there with us.
14:24To a successful day tomorrow.
14:25It's not over, kids.
14:26No.
14:27Yeah, you're only there tomorrow.
14:28Tomorrow will be all yours.
14:30Yeah.
14:31I will make you 25 dresses if you want.
14:33I don't have enough fabric for that.
14:34Before you want.
14:35Oh, okay.
14:36Oh my goodness.
14:37All right, day three.
14:38Let's make some beautiful.
14:39Do you want to put your girl last?
14:40That's where we should put it.
14:41Althea and I, we have a really collaborative relationship.
14:55I just love the way we work.
14:58So organized.
14:59Why we don't do hand stitching here?
15:02We can do machine.
15:03It's really easy.
15:04I know, but from heat to take it from here to the machine,
15:06it's gonna lose a lot of sequence.
15:08No, let's do it really quickly.
15:10I'm putting this together right now.
15:12The black and blue one's done except for the closure.
15:14Okay.
15:15Is that for Xan and stuff?
15:16Yep.
15:17Okay.
15:18Kane is phenomenal to work with.
15:20He's refreshed, he's ready to go, and he's quick.
15:23Can I, can you put it properly so I can see the collar?
15:30This is one.
15:31This needs to top, and this whole pen's way big needs to be changed.
15:38Oh, you had such a strong collection.
15:40You saved my life.
15:41It's time for the assistants to leave,
15:43and now I have to finish this collection by myself.
15:46Thank you, sir.
15:47You're welcome.
15:48I'm sorry I have to go.
15:49Oh, buah.
15:50I still have so much to do.
15:53I really just don't know how I'm gonna get it done without Kane.
15:56See you at the show.
15:57See you at the final runway show, guys.
16:15The last two days in the workroom is total chaos.
16:18Is it hot in here or is it me?
16:20The fear is just kicking in like crazy.
16:23We're all so stressed out.
16:25Everybody's just focusing on getting their outfits done.
16:28Ain't no free ride on this train.
16:31Everybody gotta work.
16:33The whole point of me being here is to win the whole thing.
16:36My parents worked really hard so my brothers and I can have the kind of life that we enjoy.
16:43And this would be an amazing gift back to my father and my mother.
16:48Ooh, what you working on?
16:49On the Sasquatch collection.
16:52I grew up behind the Berlin Wall and there was no freedom of mind.
16:57There was no creativity.
16:58You were held basically in a dark box.
17:01I actually have risen to the sky and I'm walking on clouds now and I'm in a very happy place.
17:07But the price is too big to ignore.
17:10And I have a nice big empty suitcase for all that money.
17:13All right, gotta hurry.
17:15I just don't know where my life's going right now.
17:17For me, it's either I win or I just don't do this anymore.
17:20Because I don't have the resources financially to be able to continue.
17:24And that's what's driving me at this point.
17:29Ooh la la.
17:37I have to put in these two zippers and these dresses otherwise I'm screwed.
17:42I don't know how I'm gonna get these eight looks together.
17:45I still have a jumpsuit to cut and make, a dress and a coat.
17:51All right, we only have 15 minutes.
17:53Oh my God.
17:54Run.
17:55They need to make one more outfit.
17:57It's seven looks but every look has at least two or three pieces.
18:01Good, it looks like the Yeti is in the box.
18:04It's gonna be a miracle if I get this done.
18:07Close up your boxes.
18:09Gotta get some sleep.
18:10Coming up on Project Runway All-Stars.
18:15This is the moment.
18:16We have three hours.
18:17It's like the make it or break it time.
18:19I'm cutting corners wherever I have to.
18:22Oh my God.
18:23I mean, I'm gonna throw up.
18:33Today's the big day.
18:35Right here.
18:36Come on.
18:37Come on.
18:38It's my first time in Gotham Hall.
18:41It's such an amazing building.
18:43It's very like, architectural.
18:45It's a perfect venue for our event.
18:47Oh wow.
18:48It's really cool to just take it in.
18:50I mean, this is the moment.
18:51This is what we've all worked so hard for.
18:54That chance to change everything.
18:56We gotta get in there.
18:57Look.
18:58Wow.
18:59Oh wow.
19:00We have three hours.
19:01Everybody has a long list of things to do.
19:06I still have to put a jacket together.
19:09I'm cutting out linings, not doing shoulder pads.
19:12I'm cutting corners wherever I have to.
19:15Because if I don't have a jacket, the model won't have a look.
19:18Hey.
19:19Hello.
19:20Hi.
19:21Hi.
19:22Okay y'all, get your beautiful makeup.
19:24A lot of color, strong eyebrows.
19:29Maybe a little bit more even on that side.
19:38It's that whole idea of taking something so innocent and putting chaos into it.
19:44Kind of cool looking and creatures.
19:49They're all gonna have like a durag tie.
19:51I think Dorothy Dandridge.
20:0430 minutes to runway.
20:06I'm sweating.
20:08I'm frantic.
20:09Oh my God.
20:10I mean, I'm gonna throw up.

20:14I need it at the waist first.

23:53Well done, that's amazing what you've achieved.
24:17How is everyone?
24:18My name is Anthony Ryan Auld.
24:21This has probably been one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had and I'm so proud
24:26to show you this collection.
24:28The title of it is The Thin Line.
24:51What do you want to say to yourself that was on the previous season of Project Runway?
25:05Good attempt, but we did better this time.
25:10So how do you think that you improved so dramatically?
25:14Practice.
25:15And especially now with All Stars, I really have a sense of who I am, you know, as a designer.
25:20Right.
25:21Right.
25:22So how do you think that you improved so dramatically?
25:24Practice.
25:25And especially now with All Stars, I really have a sense of who I am, you know, as a designer.
25:29Right.
25:30You know, as a designer.
25:31Right.
25:32And I really have a sense of who I am.
25:33I really have a sense of who I am.
25:34I really have a sense of who I am.
25:35I really have a sense of who I am.
25:36I really have a sense of who I am.
25:37I really have a sense of who I am.
25:38I really have a sense of who I am.
25:39I really have a sense of who I am.
25:40I really have a sense of who I am.
25:41I really have a sense of who I am.
25:42I really have a sense of who I am.
25:43I really have a sense of who I am.

25:45I really have a sense of who I am.
25:46I really have a sense of who I am.
25:47I really have a sense of who I am.
25:48I really have a sense of who I am.
25:49I really have a sense of who I am.
26:20Hi, my name is Uli Hartzner.
26:27Since childhood, I always had big, big dreams, and I always wanted to be in fashion.
26:32And today, I present my dream to you called Mystical Winter.
26:38Please enjoy and follow me on my dream.
27:20Did you ever imagine on that day the wall came down and you left East Berlin that you
27:43would be here?
27:44No, never.
28:13It's an astonishing achievement, Uli.
28:19I'm really happy.
28:20The winter collection could be in any runway, anywhere in the world, and we'll get applauses.
28:46It was a big achievement in four days.
28:48The fin line was sexy, modern.
28:51It had sort of like a mod, Mondrian sort of feel.
28:53But let me tell you, those themes were not easy to make.
28:56Emilio's collection made the most sense to me.
28:58It was very directional.
29:00It definitely told a story, and it was a very strong story.
29:03Coming up on Project Runway All-Stars.
29:07I love things when they're feminine and sexy.
29:10Where you go wrong is where it goes junior.
29:12Be careful with afterthoughts.
29:14Absolutely astonished.
29:16Designers, you've all proved yourselves worthy of that All-Stars title, but unfortunately,
29:28only one of you can be crowned that winner.
29:31We're going to critique each of you with your collections, and we're going to start with
29:36Emilio.
29:37So, Anthony, Ryan, and Uli, you can wait in the VIP lounge backstage.
29:51Georgina, we'll start with you.
29:52What a spectacular job.
29:54I actually got very emotional watching what you all did tonight.
29:58I often questioned who was Emilio during the show, didn't I?
30:02And, you know, I was wrong, because you really do have a point of view.
30:06I love the way that you play with a bodice over a shirt.
30:09The red jumpsuit is divine, so good for you.
30:12You've really shown it to me tonight.
30:14I'm so pleased that when given the chance, you showed us something so focused.
30:20To me, it felt like the most political collection we've seen tonight.
30:23I wanted to show the entire collection on women of color, because that was the first vision
30:29of beauty that I saw in my eyes.
30:31Wonderful, absolutely wonderful.
30:32It's just so beautifully constructed.
30:35I love that you have some more commercial looks and some more editorial looks, and the
30:40trench is perfect.
30:42I really loved the use of color, and I loved a lot of the silhouettes and the shapes, the
30:47pencil skirts, the red jumpsuit, the shoulder detail.
30:50I could see a lot of these looks on young pop stars today.
30:53There is a very specific woman wearing all these pieces, but there is not much experimentation.
31:00I think where you go wrong a little bit in the collection is where it goes junior.
31:05I think that's your weakest moment, but I really think you've done an exceptional job.
31:11Emilio, you can head backstage, and we'll call out Anthony Ryan.
31:15Well, thank you very much.
31:16I've done everything I could to show the strongest collection.
31:19I made them take notice of who I am, and that, for me, is empowering.
31:29Georgina, we'll start with you.
31:31This is such a spectacular collection you've given us.
31:35The opening look was absolutely extraordinary.
31:38That dress blows my mind.
31:40It's like the best dress I think I've ever seen on Project Run.
31:43Will you turn around?
31:44I mean, that, it's so sexy.
31:47I love things when they're kind of covered up, but you still feel sexy in them.
31:51It's unique, but immediately very appealing, and that's not an easy thing to achieve.
31:57Also, the placement of those pockets is shockingly sophisticated.
32:01Was that a mistake?
32:03No.
32:04I can't believe that you came up with that.
32:06I'm so jealous of you.
32:07I feel like I'm looking at a contemporary art collection.
32:10You're an artist.
32:11One place you let yourself down was in your finale look.
32:15It starts puckering on the hem, and everything else has such precise lines.
32:19The fabric, but also the cut.
32:20I think here, you're trying to please too many people.
32:24I have a problem.
32:25I need to see a repetition of some length.
32:28Okay.
32:29You can head back to the VIP lounge, and we're going to call out Uli.
32:34This has got to be one of the most nerve-wracking moments ever.
32:38And I'm just thinking about how this would change everything.
32:41It's just driving me insane.
32:45Isaac, we'll start with you.
32:47Uli, I can't believe how great this collection is.
32:50I just love it.
32:51How do you make people laugh or cry over textures, you know?
32:55I'm absolutely astonished about what you have managed to achieve in four days.
32:59And to give us such a concise collection with such a strong point of view is just extraordinary.
33:06On your first look, it was as if this kind of winter wonderland had come.
33:11And I was just crazy over what you had done around the neckline.
33:15It's like a beaded lace and Swarovski pieces on top of it.
33:20I love the fairy tale quality of it.
33:23And that sweater, I would wear it day or night.
33:27Hair and makeup is for sure the most interesting today.
33:30Let's go to Liv Tyler.
33:33I'm completely blown away by the detail.
33:35And I found this to be very cinematic.
33:38And the dress is just, whew.
33:40It's beautiful.
33:41It's really an Oscar dress.
33:43This is stunning.
33:44Would you mind turning around for me, please?
33:45This detail of the feathering towards the back neckline is so fine.
33:52But the jewel on the rear, be really careful with going into too much of those afterthoughts.
33:58You've relied heavily upon faux furs.
34:00And I think they look a little inexpensive to me.
34:04But the collection is really just dreamy.
34:08I think you did a fantastic job.
34:10It's time for the judges to deliberate.
34:12You can return to the VIP lounge backstage.
34:16I'm very proud of my designs.
34:17I mean, I'm getting closer and closer.
34:20I think I can win this competition.
34:22It makes me feel really good.
34:24And I'm excited.
34:27Ladies and one gentleman.
34:28Those were three of the best runway collections we've seen.
34:33This is going to be really tough tonight.
34:35Emilio, I felt he was always in control.
34:38He's behind that wheel and he knows where he's going.
34:41I love that collection.
34:42That was a surprise to me how much I love Emilio's collection.
34:44It looked so beautiful.
34:45To me, though, it wasn't exciting enough.
34:48It was very cute, very sellable.
34:51But there wasn't that thing that was like, wow.
34:53I just wished that he had taken out those junior elements.
34:57That dress felt like it was about to fall off.
35:00And to open with a look like that didn't capture you when it first came out.
35:04I like the fact that there's something very passionate about what he put together.
35:08Of the three designers, he, like, actually gave us this kind of political situation.
35:13I appreciate a young designer going, excuse me, this is my opportunity to say something.
35:18I'm going to say what I think I need to say.
35:20I think tonight he really showed us who he was and really had listened to what we said and what we loved about him.
35:31Anthony Ryan, I felt, was the most kind of fashion of the three collections.
35:36It felt like the newest collection of the three.
35:38It felt like such a pure stream of consciousness.
35:41It was just one thought.
35:42What I loved was also that print.
35:45You're right.
35:45It gave it a vulnerability because everything else was so severe.
35:48And then this gave it an emotion, that print.
35:51I will say, though, I was very disappointed in his finale dress.
35:55The two layers.
35:56And then the, like, sort of ruffled edge or there was some sort of scalloping.
36:00And then I think he also went awry a bit in the middle.
36:04With the length.
36:04It was a bit disturbing.
36:06Yeah, it was like, you know, here and here.
36:07And it wasn't like, you know, one was here and one was there.
36:10But Anthony Ryan is inspired.
36:12You can see that there's so much creativity sort of boiling inside his body.
36:16He's so interesting.
36:18He always has such an artistic interpretation.
36:21The last collection from Uli was, to me, like, the most kind of emotional and psychological.
36:30Uli has this magic spirit.
36:34And it's so important to make people dream.
36:37That's, like, what we do.
36:39We have to make people stop thinking about their daily worries and make them dream about another fabulous world.
36:45And she definitely has that quality.
36:47She always manages to kind of take us to that almost psychological place that you go to.
36:53And it makes her so interesting and refreshing.
36:56But it looked like looks I've seen before.
36:58It was a bit of a student's collection.
37:00I expect so much of Uli because I have seen her do things that you could not believe came from where they came.
37:07She's got Christmas decorations and made a dress that honestly looked like it belonged in couture weave.
37:13I think that we're in three such distinct collections.
37:19There's something about Uli's world that I respond to.
37:23She's experimenting.
37:25She's trying things.
37:27Emilio really hit home tonight.
37:28That confidence coming from him really struck me.
37:32I like that he went right for it, you know?
37:34I agree.
37:34I really have mixed feelings.
37:37Anthony Ryan was very severe but sexy.
37:40The contrast is always interesting.
37:42We have to make a decision.
37:43This is really the hard part.
37:45I think we have.
37:46I think we know what we're going to do about the women.
37:48I think so.
37:49I really do.
37:59Designers, three months ago you joined us as all-stars.
38:04You created looks inspired by graffiti, the 1920s, and haute couture.
38:11You were critiqued by everyone, from Diane von Furstenberg and Jason Wu to Kylie Minogue and Katie Holmes.
38:21If that wasn't enough, you also flew to Paris.
38:24It's been an unprecedented season.
38:27And now, one of you will win the biggest prize in Project Runway history.
38:35One of you will win the biggest prize in Project Runway history.
38:49The second runner-up of Project Runway All-Stars is...
38:56Uli.
39:09Uli.
39:13Uli, you have so much to be proud of.
39:16Oh, thank you.
39:17Wow.
39:19It was such a pleasure.
39:21We love you, Uli.
39:22I have no regrets.
39:23I'm not mad or sad about this.
39:25I'm very happy I got to show a collection.
39:29That even if it was scary to come here, I'm so happy I did it.
39:36And now, the moment that we've all been waiting for.
39:39The winner of Project Runway All-Stars is...
39:46Anthony Ryan.
40:03Congratulations, Anthony Ryan.
40:10Really?
40:16Congratulations, baby.
40:19Oh, thank you.
40:21Thank you, Emilio.
40:23You're amazing.
40:24I'm the first runner-up.
40:26Do I believe I had the strongest collection?
40:28Yes.
40:29I mean, I have won the prize, but my life continues.
40:33I'm a better man for being here, and I'm very grateful right now.
40:37Anthony Ryan, just watching you from week to week, your work has been so impeccable, and
40:44I am so happy for you.
40:46You have this way of just completely committing to something, like you don't question yourself,
40:51which is the best thing about you.
40:53Don't lose that.
40:54I hope that I get to be the one to wear your blue and black dress, because I love it.
40:58It was amazing.
41:00It's been very cool to just stand in front of y'all and to be able to get that back,
41:07you know?
41:07You don't need us.
41:08You really don't.
41:09You think you do, but you don't.
41:10We actually have somebody else who would like to congratulate you.
41:14This is Joanna.
41:15Oh, my God.
41:18Well done.
41:19It's so exciting.
41:21I know.
41:21I'm so thrilled for you.
41:25Champagne.
41:29Project Runway All Stars has given me a second chance to do what I love, and I was faced with
41:36a lot of challenges, and it's those crazy-ass times that you really find the best of yourself.
41:44I couldn't have done it without you.
41:45It was beautiful.
41:47Oh, my God.
41:49I came to this not expecting anything out of it except coming back to design, wanting
41:54to show a collection, and I'm going to be able to do more.
41:58For more information on tonight's show, go to mylifetime.com.
42:08or even though...
42:10I'll be right back to it.
42:10It's a maybe even better thing, but I'm going to be careful now.
42:11Yeah, thank you.
42:14There's a really nice view here.
42:14Victor, homem.
42:15Bye-bye.
42:15Bye-bye.
42:16Bye-bye.
42:16Bye-bye.
42:17Bye-bye.
42:18Bye.
42:19Bye.
42:19Bye-bye.
42:20Bye-bye.
42:21Bye-bye.
