00:00Good morning, well it's a windy start to the new working week especially across England
00:06and Wales where there is a yellow wind warning in force.
00:10Now this is all to do with an area of low pressure, it's tracking its way eastwards
00:14through much of the day and you can see that real squeeze in the ice bars indicating those
00:19strong and gusty winds.
00:21Behind that as we go into Tuesday a slight ridge of higher pressure builds before we
00:25have the next area of low pressure waiting in the wings.
00:29But back to the rest of this morning, like I said there is a yellow weather warning in
00:33force for wind across England and Wales lasting throughout much of the day so gusts of 60
00:38to 70 miles per hour is possible.
00:41Otherwise it's a showery picture out there with the showers merging to give longer spells
00:46of rain at times especially across Northern Ireland, southern parts of Scotland, northern
00:50England and northern parts of Wales.
00:54Towards the south of that there will be some bright or sunny spells but a few showers that
00:58will quickly rattle their way through and for all of us some of the showers could be heavy
01:03perhaps with the odd rumble of thunder.
01:07But in the sunshine we could see highs of 18 or 19 degrees but when you factor in the
01:11wind and underneath any heavy downpours well it's going to be feeling rather cool out there.
01:17So as we go through Monday evening the area of low pressure tracks its way eastwards the showers
01:23sinking all their way south and eastwards as well but mainly focused across Northern Ireland
01:28into southern parts of Scotland and then later into northern parts of England.
01:33Either side of that there will be some clear skies to start Tuesday morning especially across
01:38much of Scotland and towards the south of England.
01:42Otherwise temperatures ranging from 10 to possibly up to 12 degrees to start Tuesday morning.
01:49So there will be some bright skies out there especially towards the south of England and
01:52across much of Scotland there'll still be a focus for these showers especially across
01:56northern parts of England with a few showers bubbling up for Wales.
02:02Otherwise a quiet day out there in general compared to recent days but the sunshine will be turning
02:08increasingly hazy from the west as we have this next area of wet and windy weather arriving
02:14later on.
02:15But before then temperatures ranging from around 16 to possibly 19 degrees in the south so hopefully
02:22feeling a little bit more pleasant underneath the sunshine and the lighter winds.
02:28That's all from me for now though but make sure to hit subscribe so you don't miss
02:31any updates and I'll see you soon bye bye.
