00:00Good morning, hope you had a lovely weekend and for those off on bank holiday Monday across
00:05Northern Ireland, Wales and England, well there's plenty of fine and settled weather on the way.
00:10That's all courtesy of high pressure but that's sinking its way south and eastwards
00:14and it's going to be replaced by low pressure. This is actually ex-hurricane Erin and it's going
00:19to be bringing in bands of showers or heavier spells of rain as we go through the week and also
00:25some large waves especially across western coasts but back to this morning any mist and fog patches
00:33will soon lift and clear and then it's a fine day on offer plenty of sunshine much more sunshine
00:39across Scotland than over recent days any cloud in the southeast will clear its way through but
00:45across Northern Ireland some cloud will be building into the afternoon ahead of this band of rain that
00:52could be quite heavy later on we'll also see the winds picking up across the west but it is a
00:57southerly direction and with more in the way of sunshine temperatures are also going to be rising
01:03so it's going to be feeling hotter out there highs of up to 28 possibly 29 even 30 degrees across the
01:10Midlands and perhaps even parts of Wales but even across Scotland highs coming up at 24 degrees
01:18so as we go through Monday evening then it's a damp end to the day across Northern Ireland with this
01:23band of rain that'll edge into western parts of Scotland then later overnight into Wales and the
01:30southwest of England could turn quite heavy at times always staying driest for the longest across the far
01:35southeast but otherwise temperatures are generally going to be holding up tonight generally in the double
01:41digits so to start Tuesday morning then it's a bit more of an unsettled start out there across the
01:48Midlands across Northern England and into Scotland but the band of rain will generally start fizzling out
01:54as we go into late morning and then replaced by sunny spells and a scattering of showers some of these still
02:00could be heavy at times but some may avoid them and see some bright or sunny interludes otherwise it's
02:07still going to be feeling quite warm across the southeast we've got highs here of 26 degrees
02:12but in the west temperatures actually falling closer to average around 22 to 23 degrees
02:20so it stays unsettled as we go into Wednesday and Thursday as well but make sure to hit subscribe
02:25so you don't miss any details on that and i'll see you very soon bye bye
