00:00:00Previously on Project Memory All Stars, each of you must create a fabulous look from this
00:00:08single bulk of fabric.
00:00:12This red is way too much.
00:00:15What are you doing?
00:00:15The crotch is low, Monk.
00:00:16Can you f***ing eat?
00:00:18Guess you all turn into drapers and minimalists.
00:00:22Damn.
00:00:22She was alarmed.
00:00:23There were a lot of very similar looks.
00:00:28Relax.
00:00:28You're in the top.
00:00:29They do realize they've seen this dress since this competition started, right?
00:00:33This whole s*** right now is a joke.
00:00:35Some bulls***.
00:00:36This is all stars.
00:00:37You got the best of the best to ever do it.
00:00:39It's an insult.
00:00:40It's insulting.
00:00:42It was weird energy.
00:00:44I feel the look of me like an enemy.
00:00:48There was one unanimous winner.
00:00:51Brittany.
00:00:52Hester, we appreciate you taking risks, but this time you took too many.
00:00:58I'm so sorry.
00:01:00You are out.
00:01:01Fashion designer Christian Siriano, journalist Elaine Welteroff, fashion designer Brandon Maxwell,
00:01:13and editor-in-chief of Elle magazine, Nina Garcia, are looking for America's next great fashion designer.
00:01:19At stake for the winner, a quarter of a million dollars supplied by Pilot Friction erasable pens,
00:01:25a feature in Elle magazine, and a career-changing mentorship with the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
00:01:32This is Project Runway All-Stars.
00:01:44Last challenge got real ugly real quick.
00:01:47Clearly we can repeat looks here.
00:01:50Wow.
00:01:51Don't act like we're here being creative.
00:01:53You created the same dress two challenges ago.
00:01:56Wow.
00:01:56Wow.
00:01:57Wow.
00:01:57Wow.
00:01:57Wow.
00:01:58Wow.
00:01:58Wow.
00:01:59Wow.
00:01:59Wow.
00:02:00Wow.
00:02:01Wow.
00:02:03After the last challenge, I can tell the designers are mad at me, and it still hurts.
00:02:11How are you?
00:02:12Good morning.
00:02:13Good morning.
00:02:14How are you?
00:02:14I came to check out your space.
00:02:16Oh.
00:02:17Clearing the air and admitting that you're wrong is always great in any argument.
00:02:22I just want to come see how you're doing.
00:02:24I think we need to move on because I stay true for myself, so I wouldn't act the same way other people acted to me.
00:02:31Yeah.
00:02:32I'm sorry.
00:02:33This is personal stuff that's happened.
00:02:36It's a competition.
00:02:37Things are going to happen, but I don't want you to ever feel like it's against you and your personality.
00:02:41I was raised to forgive, so I'm moving forward.
00:02:51We're back.
00:02:51Oh, my God.
00:02:52We're back.
00:02:52There's no mistakes.
00:02:53There's no mistakes.
00:02:54There's no mistakes.
00:02:55There's no mistakes.
00:02:56There's no mistakes.
00:02:57Oh.
00:02:58Oh.
00:02:59Oh.
00:03:00What is that?
00:03:01Boom bop.
00:03:02Oh, it's a boom bop.
00:03:03Oh.
00:03:04Oh.
00:03:05Hey.
00:03:06Hey.
00:03:07Hey.
00:03:08Hey.
00:03:09Hey.
00:03:10Hello.
00:03:11Oh, my gosh.
00:03:12Stop.
00:03:13It's too early for this.
00:03:14I am so excited for you guys to meet your guest judge for this challenge.
00:03:18Amazing actress, star of one of the most legendary television shows ever, Beverly Hills 90210.
00:03:25Hella icon of the 90s, the always stunning Jenny Garth.
00:03:33Jenny Garth.
00:03:34Freaking Kelly.
00:03:35I watched 90210 in Brazil.
00:03:38The mouths would move in English, but the sounds would come out in Portuguese.
00:03:42If you only knew the impact this show had on my generation, you would know how excited I am right now.
00:03:49I may still have a poster of Brandon Walsh on my wall.
00:03:52Me too.
00:03:53Yeah.
00:03:54I am so excited to be here with you guys today.
00:03:57I have been a fan from the OG PR, and I cannot wait to see what happens today.
00:04:04All right, designers.
00:04:05For your challenge, we are bringing back the 90s.
00:04:08Yes.
00:04:09Good job.
00:04:10And you'll be working in teams.
00:04:15I don't think they're very happy about that.
00:04:17Now, now.
00:04:18Team challenges.
00:04:19That's where the craziness starts.
00:04:21Oof.
00:04:22Oh, Lord.
00:04:23Here we go.
00:04:24All right.
00:04:2590s fashion is on trend.
00:04:27The runways are flooded with fly 90s style.
00:04:31Dior revamped the plaid schoolgirl look.
00:04:34Pierre Moss with puffer bomber jackets.
00:04:37Tom Ford having a moment.
00:04:39We are not looking for costumes.
00:04:41We want 90s fashion.
00:04:43That's inventive and creative.
00:04:45Wearing the clothes in the 90s was, like, totally rad.
00:04:52All right.
00:04:53In two teams of five, you must create a chic, cohesive, 90s-inspired mini collection.
00:04:58And, of course, it has to be a little difficult.
00:05:01No denim.
00:05:02That's fair.
00:05:03Everyone is going to grab and open up a cassette case.
00:05:06Everybody pick.
00:05:07Oh, that's how we're doing it?
00:05:08That's how we're doing it.
00:05:09If you get a red tape, you're on the red team.
00:05:11If you get a blue tape, you're on the blue tape.
00:05:13Yes.
00:05:14And the insert will have your model card.
00:05:16Okay.
00:05:17Girl.
00:05:18This is a two-day challenge.
00:05:19Oh.
00:05:20And in honor of our fabulous guest judge, your model's runway will be the locker-lined
00:05:27hallways at one of the city's very first public high schools.
00:05:31Amazing.
00:05:32Wow.
00:05:33Amazing.
00:05:34All right, designers, you're going to have 40 minutes now to meet with your teams,
00:05:36brainstorm, sketch, and then I'll meet you at Mood when you're done.
00:05:39Bye, guys.
00:05:40We're out of bounds.
00:05:41Bye.
00:05:42Let's do it.
00:05:4490s.
00:05:45Oh.
00:05:46Oh.
00:05:47What?
00:05:48Mm-mm.
00:05:50Mm.
00:05:5190s.
00:05:52Mm-mm.
00:05:53Mm-mm.
00:05:54I think we're going for music over here.
00:05:56All right.
00:05:57Three of the baddest bitches are in the same team for a streetwear challenge.
00:06:01Be very afraid.
00:06:02Two of the bad bitches of streetwear.
00:06:05Laurence, Bishmi, and Prajay.
00:06:08It's the word around the block.
00:06:10Something that I feel that can work with everybody is the grunge look.
00:06:14We're going to be at a school.
00:06:15We can use the plaids.
00:06:17We can mix plaids with lace.
00:06:19It's a motto, honey.
00:06:20It is a motto.
00:06:21It is a motto.
00:06:22Smells like tinster.
00:06:23In my head, immediately, I thought about Lil' Kim.
00:06:26You're rubbing with the B, huh?
00:06:28Huh?
00:06:29Huh?
00:06:30Hip-hop, R&B was on fire in the 90s.
00:06:33All the music artists really did, they were the fashion designers.
00:06:36I think music's a great theme to pick and to play off of that.
00:06:40My inspiration is a little bit TLC meets MC Hammer.
00:06:44So I am going to do some high-waisted pants and then a bomber jacket.
00:06:48Everything was so big and colorful and oversized.
00:06:52That's kind of where I'm channeling most of my 90s effort.
00:06:55I think if we have a guideline of like a certain color store, I think that would help each person kind of like stick within a certain guideline.
00:07:02I feel the same way.
00:07:03So what are you thinking of doing?
00:07:05I'm just thinking, I'd probably go with the off the shoulder.
00:07:08You know, the skirt with cargo package.
00:07:10So colorful?
00:07:11Colorful.
00:07:12I'm feeling colorful.
00:07:14I was born in 1991.
00:07:16So majority of my 90s references came from my sister.
00:07:21I learned everything I know from her.
00:07:24My inspiration is a backup dancer for all the 90s hip-hop videos.
00:07:30And I want to make a jacket that showcases her coolness and pairing it with a skirt.
00:07:37So we got a little bit of everything.
00:07:38Let's just keep it popping.
00:07:39Got you.
00:07:40I agree.
00:07:41So in my season, we did two teams of five as well.
00:07:43And the other team used all the same fabrics and they did all different looks.
00:07:47They hated that.
00:07:48It is all over the damn place.
00:07:50It's in every decade, every country, every area code.
00:07:53It's got bits of everything in it.
00:07:54Can we talk about the other fabrics too?
00:07:56Because I would love to use like a black chiffon or sheer.
00:07:59I would like to use a black lace.
00:08:00I figured you would too.
00:08:01Yeah.
00:08:02I didn't love the 90s, but I'm going to try my best.
00:08:06My inspiration for my look this time was definitely Gwen Stefani Nirvana.
00:08:10And I want to make a beautiful corset, a fabulous flowing high-low shirt, and a gorgeous little plaid skirt.
00:08:17If you're talking cohesive, you can still have a two to three color way.
00:08:21Yes.
00:08:22Make sure everybody has the plaid.
00:08:24Our idea came together very quick, easily, which is good.
00:08:30But I never worked with plaid.
00:08:32So I'm just a little bit nervous about the fabrication.
00:08:35Or even if we use the plaid as a trim.
00:08:37Right?
00:08:38Yes.
00:08:39The plaid will go into my accessory because I want to make a backpack.
00:08:42Yes.
00:08:43So cute.
00:08:44I love it.
00:08:45All right.
00:08:46Let's go.
00:08:47All right.
00:08:48Let's go.
00:08:49Let's go to Mood.
00:08:50All right.
00:08:51Boom.
00:08:57Hello, everybody.
00:08:59Hi.
00:09:00Welcome back to Mood.
00:09:02So each of you have $500 and 40 minutes to shop.
00:09:06Mm-hmm.
00:09:07That's it.
00:09:08Bye.
00:09:09Go.
00:09:10What are you going to make?
00:09:11I'm making a pants with a corset.
00:09:12In the 90s, I remember flare jeans was really a thing.
00:09:13But in China, I wasn't allowed to have fashionable items.
00:09:26It was very strict and fashion wasn't really a thing in China at that moment.
00:09:32I was the one always want to wear something different.
00:09:36So this is what I wanted in my 90s for myself.
00:09:39You like it?
00:09:40We'll see.
00:09:41You got faux leather?
00:09:42Yeah, I already got that cut.
00:09:43You love that?
00:09:44Mm-hmm.
00:09:45Okay.
00:09:46Yeah.
00:09:47It's a good faux leather.
00:09:48It looks the best.
00:09:49The best.
00:09:50I'm doing this like...
00:09:51That lace-up whole thing with bronnets and stuff?
00:09:52Uh-huh.
00:09:53I am making a plaid, billowy sleeve flannel shirt with a corseted jumpsuit made of faux leather and lace-up princess seams.
00:10:04I need that dark element because essentially it's 90s grunge.
00:10:08Designers, you have 10 minutes.
00:10:11Blue team, can we get a quick meeting, please, so we can start cutting?
00:10:15Me and bitch, me both have this.
00:10:17Laurence is pulling green leather.
00:10:18I feel like we need to narrow it down.
00:10:20Can we use like one similar fabric together?
00:10:23Our color palette for our collection, the oranges, the greens.
00:10:26It's so important because the name of the game is cohesion.
00:10:29Cohesion, cohesion, cohesion.
00:10:32I remember in the 90s, the coolest kids always had the bombest puffer jackets and I always wanted one.
00:10:38So I'm gonna make a high-low one, just really extra for no damn reason.
00:10:42That's the way I'm going.
00:10:43Three of this, wrote it on the sticker.
00:10:45Designers?
00:10:46Yes.
00:10:47One minute.
00:10:48Oh my God.
00:10:49So I guess we just get all of this.
00:10:50Yeah, so we're taking all the laces, right?
00:10:52I mean, probably.
00:10:54Excuse me.
00:10:55If you're not in line, you don't get it.
00:11:00Thank you so much.
00:11:01Brittany, where's your whole team?
00:11:04I don't know.
00:11:05I'll take it three yards.
00:11:07Let's just go.
00:11:08Hold on, where's the elastic that was cut?
00:11:11Here, here, here, here.
00:11:12All right, designers, that's it, that's time.
00:11:14Lord, that's me.
00:11:16Coming up?
00:11:17I don't know what they're cooking up.
00:11:19It's all different restaurants right now.
00:11:21You don't have any of it done?
00:11:23I'm coming, I promise.
00:11:24Let me just sit here and wait for you.
00:11:34All right, guys.
00:11:35All right.
00:11:36All right, let's do it.
00:11:37Totally tubular.
00:11:38Here we go.
00:11:39Yep.
00:11:40So guys, should we take everything out and just see what we have?
00:11:44Yeah, let's look at it.
00:11:45All right.
00:11:46This is yours that I bought you.
00:11:49I'm your sugar mama.
00:11:50This red is perfect.
00:11:51Thank you, Fabio.
00:11:52So we have the yellow.
00:11:53I just want to make sure that everything ties in.
00:11:56It looks really good together.
00:11:58I'm excited, you guys.
00:11:59The red team, I see a lot of plaid.
00:12:02It looks, I don't know.
00:12:04It looks plaid-y.
00:12:05It's very plaid-yaddy-yaddy.
00:12:07It all fits in with the vibe of what we're doing.
00:12:11I went to boarding school.
00:12:12I had to wear a uniform that was plaid.
00:12:14So there's no way I would have even went anywhere near that fabric.
00:12:17So glad I was not on the red team because they would have had a problem with me.
00:12:21Do you guys feel that the styles are all, like, cohesive with each other?
00:12:26Oh, the colors are, everything is looking.
00:12:27I think the colors are themed.
00:12:28I just think we all need to be present in the looking.
00:12:30And checking in, yeah.
00:12:31Yeah.
00:12:32Yeah.
00:12:33All right, so let's get started.
00:12:35Oh, yeah.
00:12:36Let's do it.
00:12:38Good choice on this plaid.
00:12:41The person I'm designing for is someone who's young and very fashion-forward.
00:12:48I'm excited about the coat.
00:12:49Me too.
00:12:50Smells like team spirit.
00:12:51Smells like team spirit.
00:12:53In my world of costume design, I probably have hit every decade.
00:12:59When they said 90s, I knew what those looks would be.
00:13:02Those bomber jackets have a little bit of poof.
00:13:05This one's going to have a much bigger poof.
00:13:07I'm going to make a bomber jacket and a halter dress with a handkerchief skirt.
00:13:12But it has to be sleek and it has to be fashion.
00:13:16You don't want something that looks like a 90s party.
00:13:18Fabio, I'm going to do a high neck then a hood behind it.
00:13:21Maybe I should do like a backpack with a hood.
00:13:23One thing that I really love about the 90s is the overlaying.
00:13:27So I am making a wrapped skirt, half pleated, half draped, a mesh top and a backpack vest in plaid.
00:13:35I'm designing for Angelina Jolie in Hackers, which speaks of grunge but also the high school spirit.
00:13:41I mean, it's a collection.
00:13:43A chic.
00:13:44A chic.
00:13:45Cohesive.
00:13:46A chic and cohesive.
00:13:47Chic and cohesive collection.
00:13:4990s inspired collection.
00:13:51Look.
00:13:52I like those pants.
00:13:53I got cool stuff.
00:13:54Right, right.
00:13:55Me too.
00:13:56Yeah.
00:13:57All right, you over here, you're too short.
00:13:59I'm making a green leather overall and a cone bra, you know, Jean Paul Gaultier, Madonna type of vibe.
00:14:07That's how I used to dress in the 90s, but I didn't have a leather overall because I couldn't afford it.
00:14:12But now, me and leather, we know each other.
00:14:14I don't think Project Runway is the place where you want to experiment on the little things that you don't know anything about.
00:14:22Brittany, do you ever use leather leather?
00:14:25I actually don't use it.
00:14:26Hardly ever.
00:14:27I'm making this jumpsuit out of pleather because it's much more cost effective.
00:14:30This is too high though, so I think I'm going to take this a little lower.
00:14:33Hopefully I can make this leather look really good in the end.
00:14:37God, a mess.
00:14:44Proj, you need a ribbon?
00:14:46Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:14:47That could be nice as well.
00:14:48It's great to see Laurent checking in.
00:14:50She's the natural born leader.
00:14:51Like, she has my back, she has everybody's back.
00:14:54I'm going to try to play with the orange, the tweed.
00:14:57She doesn't want nobody to fall under the radar and then bring the team down.
00:15:00Let's see what you're doing.
00:15:01Wide leg pants.
00:15:02And I'm going to do cargo pockets.
00:15:05Oh, that's cool.
00:15:06I got cargo pockets on my green.
00:15:08Good because Proj is as well.
00:15:10The inspiration for my design is Aaliyah's iconic looks wide leg exaggerated pocket cargo pants with a leather halter top and
00:15:21oversized
00:15:22Con shirt see you in a minute. All right, love. All right guys. We have 45 minutes loose
00:15:27Stress level just skyrocketed
00:15:33Teamwork my stream
00:15:35I
00:15:37Put this together tonight so I can work on the dress tomorrow. I'm thinking about changing it up
00:15:40Just a little bit. Maybe this goes into a flowy or top in the back that way all this is exposed
00:15:47That's good. You guys we got ten minutes pretty fast, but we're about to find out how fast
00:15:57Girl where you been? I've been on the block for five hours. Are you serious?
00:16:02Okay, I gotta get towards you. I'm gonna get me fired
00:16:05And my minutes are up
00:16:09It's the end of day one. I'm feeling the pressure. There's a lot of work to do and I'm just like moving as fast as I can
00:16:16My anxiety is so high. It's a lot to get done and seeing the blue team. We are really knack-knack at this point
00:16:24All right guys time's up. We got to go home. Yeah, let's get out of here. Do it tomorrow
00:16:30Coming up this faux vinyl. I don't know I'm running out of time. So I have to hot glue this down. I am praying that the seams stay glued down
00:16:41And I need 15 so I got to teach the models a whole dance routine to be a whole vibe on stage
00:16:55Oh my god
00:16:59We only have 11 hours left and I need 15
00:17:02So I got to teach the models a whole dance routine to be a whole vibe on stage. Oh my god
00:17:08I
00:17:15All right guys
00:17:17Wolf room finish our stuff
00:17:19Team spirit
00:17:21Come on blue team
00:17:23Come on team spirit
00:17:25Let's go
00:17:27How hot is the block? All right, let's go. It's the 90s. Gail power
00:17:33Are we all feeling good? I feel great with the direction we're going personally
00:17:39Agreed awesome. Just wanted to hear your voice carousel. Hi everybody. How's it going?
00:17:45You're team red today
00:17:52Team 90s, I'm totally bugging
00:17:57All right, I'm coming around. I want to see it all
00:17:59Rajay
00:18:00Hi Christian. Tell me everything
00:18:03So pretty much you know going with hip-hop and R&B. Yeah, it was the 90s. Yeah, in the 90s you were basically like the same person, right?
00:18:10Well, I was a kid
00:18:11What did you listen to? Well, I was in Haiti, right? So it was all the hardcore rapping
00:18:18You might get shot because the block is gone. All right, so, you know
00:18:21I wanted to do kind of like a bomber jacket puffer mixture. That's why some of the solids here
00:18:27Hey
00:18:29What's wrong with that? They just look a little bit like pajamas. I mean, they're supposed to be sweatpants
00:18:33But like is that the coolest what pain you've ever seen, but I think when everything is lined
00:18:37Yeah, I can't wait to see it together. Yeah, you will find that is probably more cohesive than others. Okay. Oh
00:18:45See you later. Bye
00:18:47The block is hot y'all real hot
00:18:50Whoa
00:18:52If you were hearing a soundtrack for your design, what would it be?
00:18:55Either Madonna or like brandy. Yes for me. Yeah
00:18:59It's the Aaliyah song at first if you don't succeed pick yourself up and try again
00:19:04There is a picture of Aaliyah from the 90s
00:19:07I designed the top and she wore it on the cover of ID magazine
00:19:12It was very meaningful to me because I was struggling artists at the time
00:19:15So it was a dream come true
00:19:17Aaliyah was like the starting point of that whole like my career journey in a way because she was one of the first big names of celebrities
00:19:23That wore my pieces
00:19:25That's so cool
00:19:27Gone way too soon. That's way too soon
00:19:31A little Ron's what's happening over here. These are fabulous. Thank you. They're gorgeous back in the 90s
00:19:38I used to dream of leather. So I'm gonna make an overall
00:19:41Just to give you an idea so with straps with leather straps. What were you like in high school? I was let's just say the 90s is
00:19:50The best and the worst so they could have made me or broke me because I mean
00:19:54I was pregnant when I was 16 my parents didn't know my family didn't know no one knew it was hidden
00:19:59That's not coming from West Africa, so they would have killed me. Yeah, so they literally find out two weeks before I get birth
00:20:04Wow, yeah, my mom found me on the floor passed out and had to take him to the emergency
00:20:09The 90s was the toughest time in my life. My parents are from West Africa. So when I got pregnant at 16
00:20:17my dad disowned me
00:20:21I was always trying to
00:20:24Hang on to the little things that
00:20:31Yeah
00:20:33They don't really know where my life was going like and that's the same year. I got
00:20:37Into fashion school fashion probably saved my life because I went to fashion school in Paris
00:20:43That's really the one thing I was holding on to it was the toughest time of my life, but I wouldn't change a thing
00:20:49There's beauty and everything you just got to find it
00:20:54All right, well, I'm gonna leave you you got lots of work, okay, you got to figure out this top
00:21:01I will play around. Thank you so much. Good luck. Thanks. I'll see you after school
00:21:06There you go
00:21:11How's the team working amazing is there a leader here songs on mother?
00:21:15I got it
00:21:16I got it
00:21:18That's actually fairy godmother, but yeah
00:21:20Mm-hmm
00:21:21Because we wanted to make sure that we're a clique in a school
00:21:24But we still are very cohesive got it
00:21:27I was the black Madonna of my high school, but I also like no doubt. I had everything
00:21:33Right in high school. I was a lot of things. I was the black Madonna
00:21:38I was designing all of my clothes like made from scratch now Madonna was very much a part of the 90s
00:21:45So my girl is like the rebellious type. So I want to do this faux leather jumpsuit that's laced up
00:21:53This faux vinyl. I don't know guys because right now
00:21:56I wouldn't say that this fits the best. Well, no, but also that's a bigger mannequin. Yeah, no, I understand just there's just like things
00:22:03Oh, yeah, you got to make this perfect
00:22:05I don't want to glue down the seamless until I fit
00:22:08Don't run out of time because it has to look so cool and different. Oh my god
00:22:12Is she gonna carry this phone? It's no it is it actually works
00:22:18Oh my god, yeah, oh my god chair chair, let's go. Oh my god. I just talked to dion. We are gonna be at the mall in 30 minutes
00:22:27Okay, see you 30
00:22:30I'm dead
00:22:32Hey
00:22:34I'm coming to you. Oh my god, can I get my corset and or you can envision where is it under the sewing machine?
00:22:41Is it ready? I mean, yeah, okay. Okay. I'm gonna wait in here. I go so fast. It's got lots of time
00:22:46I know you do
00:22:52You're not going okay, just explain
00:22:56You don't have any of it done
00:22:58I'm coming up promise. Let me just sit here and wait for you
00:23:05This is crazy
00:23:07Oh my gosh, I know
00:23:18I need a big picture. Yeah already. I'm like what happened
00:23:21My goal is to make a shirt that I would literally love to put Gwen Stefani and now not in the 90s
00:23:29And how are you guys keeping it cohesive? You're all using the plaid you're all doing this kind of black dark
00:23:36Thing black is kind of like one of the colors, but we also have there's a lot of plain red and don't worry
00:23:42We're gonna pull in some fun bright accessories that kind of also help
00:23:48It's a little costumey of what like the 90s grunge look is
00:23:53So I do think you just need something that makes it feel
00:23:57Cool modern up now. That's my goal. That'll be my goal. Got it. Goodbye. Goodbye
00:24:06All right, so models will be here in a little over an hour and I'll catch you on the flip side perfect
00:24:12Bye
00:24:19I gotta stretch shorty out the shape of my jacket is the bee's knees
00:24:26I can't believe that's what I thought of just not the bee's knees
00:24:30So that's it right there. Oh, thank you
00:24:35I only need to fit her and then I'll just glue it
00:24:38I have to treat this pleather as if it was leather and glue down these seam allowances
00:24:43And guess what? She didn't bring leather glue this fabric glue. It's not sticking
00:24:48So I'm having to get real creative and hot glue the down
00:24:52Brett, what did you wear in the 90s?
00:24:56Like all limited to I think mine was like a mix between
00:25:00Oversized polos from Tommy Hilfiger and thrift store. I did a lot. Oh my god
00:25:06Growing up. I was the super weird awkward kid and by the end of my freshman year of high school
00:25:13I topped the scales at 315 pounds
00:25:17You know kids would say things about my clothes
00:25:19As a child that's a hard thing to get over but it definitely gave me a thicker skin
00:25:25I learned there are things that are not going to go your way
00:25:27There's going to be people no matter where you go, but it's what I think has made me the designer. I am today
00:25:35All right, everybody
00:25:38Are we ready for a model
00:25:4290s are back the models are back
00:25:44Bring the models
00:25:58It's just a little too hot topic and i'm trying to go a little bit more vivian westwood get together get together there you go
00:26:04The block is hot. I don't know what they're cooking up. It's all different restaurants right now
00:26:10They're all stunning, but do they make sense? We should style the same like the same look. I think that's the way to go
00:26:16What do you like? What do you don't like? I think now?
00:26:18We're just trying to make sure there's a balance of color. I'm imagining them coming out one by one
00:26:23And being tied together
00:26:25You don't have any orange ribbing. Yeah, I do. How would that look in the arms? No change the green to the orange. Yeah, I mean I can
00:26:33Let me see. Yeah, play around guys
00:26:35Yeah, because I think once you do that with my green sleeves it will tie in with the pants
00:26:40Okay
00:26:41What are you doing here on top? How do you finish this part? I think i'm just going to line stitch it
00:26:46But you can finish it with a leather trim. Laurent is
00:26:50The woman king, okay
00:26:52Any of you are doing hats?
00:26:54I want to make one. I'm doing that. Oh using hat
00:26:57Yeah, I like it. Yeah
00:26:59Naturally, I'm a leader, but I know how to step back when someone else is leading and be a team player
00:27:03So I think we are mature enough to know that
00:27:07We are the gift to each other
00:27:08So guys, we just need to tighten up the fit tighten up the little details now that we've seen it
00:27:14Use the scraps we have from each other to connect it
00:27:18Kane, where's your skirt comment?
00:27:20That's 90's baby. Is it giving like a reveal moment?
00:27:24A little bit performance, right? It's gonna have this on both sides
00:27:29That's the skirt kane
00:27:31We're about to see. Okay. I think you guys need to get together and see what this is
00:27:35Be over here so kane can just keep pinning. Yeah, come on over here. He's not really ready
00:27:40Carason's gonna have her that your little belt is plaid. Yeah. Yeah, the whole thing is this is plaid
00:27:46This is red plaid. You better put a piece there and decide that you like that. I think our collection is looking very cohesive
00:27:53You're still doing the shirt, right?
00:27:55Yeah, I think the only thing that I am a little anxious about is
00:28:01Really just making sure that the top that I make is the star. I think now it's about figuring out the tiny things
00:28:07There's little details that the connecting thing
00:28:12Good luck
00:28:14We only have three minutes. I gotta I gotta need to fit her in this corset
00:28:18Okay, say goodbye to your models. Thank you models

00:28:49Can you help me take this out?
00:28:50It is the end of the day and I think the red team should have spent more time in their collection and making it a cohesive collection and not looking like
00:28:58A broadway play
00:29:07What?

00:32:40Yours is perfect
00:32:42I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't feel like it
00:32:43That's why I'm asking
00:32:45Okay
00:32:51Number 43 is the number of the president of Haiti was assassinated in his house
00:32:57It's been a year and there have been nothing done
00:33:00So it's something that I do in my
00:33:03As a tribute and also as awareness
00:33:10This code is happening
00:33:11It's happening
00:33:13Is it going to have sleeves or just a vest?
00:33:15No, just the vest
00:33:16Yeah, she looks great
00:33:17Yeah
00:33:18Wow, guys
00:33:19She whipped that out
00:33:21Quick
00:33:25Dang, how did you do that, that face?
00:33:27Can you do a small 42 in black?
00:33:29I've been trying to figure out each challenge how I can represent my sister
00:33:33And this just felt natural
00:33:35What's this 42 stand for?
00:33:37My sister's age before she passed away
00:33:39Oh, I love that
00:33:42I love that
00:33:43I'm trying to cut as fast as possible
00:33:45Hey, you guys, we have a little less than an hour left
00:33:48Ow
00:33:50What is that thing?
00:33:51Um, it's the top
00:33:53Does that top work?
00:33:55It works
00:33:56Everybody loves it on this team?
00:33:58Yeah
00:33:59I have got to sew the top part of my top to the corset so that it's all one piece
00:34:04And then I've got to make this whole skirt
00:34:07Watch me whip this together in 15 minutes
00:34:09Okay
00:34:09I will
00:34:13Let's try this
00:34:14I want to compare the legs so walk towards me
00:34:17All right, headed to the high school in 30 minutes
00:34:19Do you need this cape thing?
00:34:21I like how I just want it shorter
00:34:22It's not a cape, I never even thought of this as a cape
00:34:25This is actually attached to the corset
00:34:27This is a cool corset with a cool back detail
00:34:29This is a lot of look over here
00:34:31I'm just running out of time
00:34:32The 90s are really giving me y'all
00:34:40Major
00:34:44So much fun
00:34:46Oh my god
00:34:48Ah, this is so exciting
00:34:51All right designers, one minute and we're leaving this room
00:34:54I hope you're ready
00:35:02Hand needles, do you have them?
00:35:04Yeah
00:35:04You said it too?
00:35:05Wow
00:35:05All right designers, that's it, that's time
00:35:08We're taking your models to the high school, let's go
00:35:10One, two, three
00:35:12I feel like this is the high school that I truly deserved to go to
00:35:26A fashion high school where the halls are actually runways
00:35:30All right, 10 minutes, last look
00:35:32You got a lot to do
00:35:35Are you having flashbacks?
00:35:36This is it, this is high school
00:35:40I'm running out of time
00:35:41I'm praying that the seams stay glued down
00:35:46It's perfect
00:35:47It's perfect
00:35:48The hem is perfect
00:35:50All right designers, that's it, that's time
00:35:52This is cool
00:35:52It's better than that one
00:35:54All right, head to the runway
00:35:56Welcome back to the runway
00:36:23Or in this case, high school
00:36:28That entrance brought me back to a place that I'm not sure I was ready to go
00:36:35Hello designers
00:36:37So I know you already met her but please welcome 90s icon, Jenny Garry
00:36:46Hi designers, I'm so excited to see what you've done
00:36:48Yeah
00:36:49We cannot wait to see these mini collections
00:36:54All right, let's start the show
00:37:03This is exciting
00:37:04We're ready to see whether the blue team is going to slay the red team
00:37:08Or the other way around
00:37:09Oh my god
00:37:21Sam, Shanaide, come out and set the tone for the collection
00:37:25This collection has me super excited.
00:37:35The jackets fit in, the skirt is bouncing how I want it to bounce.
00:37:39The glasses are adding the attitude.
00:37:45This look is definitely where I wanted it to go.
00:37:55Luz has this cool attitude with her glasses on, her ponytail, her cargos are owning the runway, and she just looks way too cool for school.
00:38:08Is that a walkman?
00:38:09It is.
00:38:10This look represents the variety of things that I do as a designer, and this is the first time I've done a complex cargo pant, so I'm proud of myself.
00:38:26My look is realistic, 90s. It's super expensive, these kids are into fashion, they are watching the music videos, they are trying to dress just like those celebrities.
00:38:47I've been creating work that is me, and I'm proud of that, so everything is right on point.
00:39:07Mimi is Madonna, she's LB, she's Farah, she's all of us. That's how I used to dress.
00:39:12Yes!
00:39:15She gave me life.
00:39:33I wouldn't change a thing. Mimi killed it. I love her for that.
00:39:38When Emily turns that corner, I'm like, get it, girl.
00:39:46Well, I like those sleeves, right?
00:39:51Woo!
00:39:54I really feel like I've represented who I am 100% as a designer.
00:39:57Blue team really set a standard and delivered. We came together as a team, and we shut it all the way down.
00:40:04All right, we've been getting so far.
00:40:05All right, we've been getting so far.
00:40:06We'll give you props.
00:40:07All right, guys, here we go.
00:40:08Woo!
00:40:09Woo!
00:40:10Oh my God.
00:40:11Oh my God.
00:40:12Wow.
00:40:13The blue team really set a standard and delivered.
00:40:16We came together as a team
00:40:18and we shut it all the way down.
00:40:25All right, we've been getting so far.
00:40:27We'll give you props.
00:40:29Okay, they're right, guys.
00:40:30Here we go.
00:40:36Oh my God.
00:40:37Wow.
00:40:38What was in their breakfast this morning?
00:40:41It's like the detention kids
00:40:43all together.
00:40:56My look, it's just fabulous.
00:40:59And the plaid is very 90s.
00:41:02If you don't like my look, I don't believe it.
00:41:13I love it.
00:41:14I love it.
00:41:14I love it.
00:41:19Wow.
00:41:20Believable.
00:41:21My look is very chic and I think I did everything that I could to be a team player.
00:41:26I definitely feel like this look represents who I am.
00:41:37I love cool girl clothes.
00:41:41I think the construction is lacking a bit.
00:41:44I know they're going to call me out for it, but it isn't something that's horrendous.
00:41:48My DNA is in my look, that's all that matters, but honestly, everybody's got some really, really cool looks.
00:42:04Honestly, I'm so proud of the fit of this corset.
00:42:18Even the skirt, I know I made this skirt in like an hour, but I think it looks banging.
00:42:25The judges have only seen gowns from me at this point, so this is great to give them something different.
00:42:43I don't feel like I could have pushed any further.
00:42:56I added sexy.
00:42:57I created a garment that looks like a backpack, which is something that I know is going to be a bestseller for me.
00:43:04This is so unique and I am so proud of this.
00:43:19I hate that a lot.
00:43:25I'm captivated by Jessica.
00:43:28She just owns that hallway.
00:43:30This is good.
00:43:31No one's that puffer.
00:43:36Fabulous.
00:43:44The style of that puffer vest is very unique to something that I would do.
00:43:49I really do think that our team did the whole cohesive collection really well.
00:43:56I think both collections walked on the runway.
00:44:11Honestly, it's anybody's game.
00:44:13I don't know what team is going to come out on top.
00:44:26Wow.
00:44:27I've never seen Nina this excited.
00:44:31But unfortunately, only one team can win.
00:44:36And the overall winner will come from that team.
00:44:39Someone from the losing team will be out.
00:44:42All right, you guys, meet us back at the runway so we can discuss your designs.
00:44:45All right.
00:44:46Whoo!
00:44:47Come on, man.
00:44:48Hello.
00:44:49Hi.
00:44:50Designers.
00:44:51As you know, there can only be one winning team.
00:44:52And the winner will come from that team.
00:44:54And someone from the losing team will be out.
00:44:58This could not have been a more fun show.
00:44:59It had us in stitches.
00:45:00It was wonderful to watch you, all of you.
00:45:01Thanks, Nina.
00:45:03But there was one team that was slightly more dynamic and was truly fashion-forward.
00:45:05The winning team is...
00:45:33The Blue Team.
00:45:34Blue team, what really had you guys rising to the top with all five looks was that there was
00:45:47a clear cohesive identity in the design itself. Thank you. Unfortunately, it means that the red
00:45:54team was our least favorite team, and one of you will be out. Prajé, Vishmi, Laurence, you had our favorite looks from the winning team. Thank you.
00:46:11Brittany, Fabio, Kane, unfortunately you had the lowest course on the losing team.
00:46:19Kara-san, your look was one of our favorite. Thank you. It so happened it was on the losing team.
00:46:26Everyone in can leave the runway. Thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you.
00:46:32You too.
00:46:37Oh my God, this is so intense. Congratulations. Yeah, you too, babe.
00:46:43Let's start by talking to our designers from the winning team. Vishmi, let's get your look out here.
00:46:49Love it.
00:46:55Okay, so tell us, how did you come up with the concept?
00:46:58Our girl is a video hip-hop background dancer for Lil' Kim, TLC.
00:47:04Did you always know it would be in this off-the-shoulder jacket and skirt?
00:47:07My favorite thing on a woman, even though I'm gay, but my favorite thing on a woman is her collarbone.
00:47:13Like this area.
00:47:14I did not know you were gay.
00:47:15You didn't?
00:47:16No, me too.
00:47:19This was the first look that came out. It really set the tone. The styling was fantastic and had such a joy and a spirit to it and attitude.
00:47:28Oh, thank you, Brandon.
00:47:30There was so much sass involved in the way you did the bottom of the skirt.
00:47:33Just the detail of it, I felt like it's really well made.
00:47:37Oh, thank you.
00:47:38I'm interested, is there a story behind the number on her arm?
00:47:41Yeah, it's the age that my sister passed away. So my sister was a big hip-hop fan, from Biggie to everyone.
00:47:49Her spirit came through, so congrats.
00:47:51Oh, thank you.
00:47:52Sinead, you can leave the runway.
00:47:54Thanks. Thank you.
00:47:56Okay, let's bring out another one of our favorites, Prajé.
00:48:04I just love seeing you.
00:48:06Prajé, hello.
00:48:08Hi.
00:48:08Is it real leather or pleather?
00:48:10Oh, yes, it's real leather.
00:48:11You know, I learned from the master, the queen of leather, 43. It's for the 43rd president of Haiti who was assassinated. Kind of like my way of keeping awareness on that. And then, of course, there's always a print with me.
00:48:23You embodied everything we love about the 90s. I, like, heard the music playing. You killed it. Like, you gave it this, like, runway edge by adding these little pockets.
00:48:33The trapper keepers. It's streetwear. It's street style. It's, like, it's supposed to be a little bit off.
00:48:38These pockets here are supposed to be removable, but there was no big zipper, but I still did it anyway. And here you see shower cassette and tape, so the idea of switching back and forth.
00:48:49This look really solidified your cohesive collection. I love the color combinations.
00:48:56That is one very beautifully made jacket.
00:49:00I do not agree with Elaine about the pockets, because I found them distracting, but I know you can zipper them off.
00:49:08Yeah.
00:49:09You know, I'm super curious about the top that's under the bomber jacket.
00:49:14Yeah.
00:49:15I knew I would love it.
00:49:18Super classy and elevates the look of what could be very sporty. Another thing I truly loved was, sorry, Nina, but the pockets.
00:49:27I can't agree on everything.
00:49:28I know. This was giving me trapper keeper vibes on the next level.
00:49:32The 90s was all about fun, and you don't give a, you just do it. That's what I wanted to channel. Like, so what? My pockets are flipping. Mind your business.
00:49:40Just mind your business.
00:49:42Mind your business.
00:49:42Literally, that's what it was. But you can remove them. They can completely zip all the way back up.
00:49:46Oh, that's cute. Love it.
00:49:49All right. Thank you, Praje. Roberta, you can leave the runway.
00:49:52Another high look of the night belonged to Laurence.
00:49:58I'm able to really enjoy this more now that we're in, like, this contained space.
00:50:09As soon as you guys started coming, running down the hallway, screaming, beating the lockers, that really sent me to a place, like, didn't want to be here 18 years ago, don't want to be here now.
00:50:18Um, okay. Laurence, tell us about your experience.
00:50:22When we started, we discussed the music that we loved in the 90s. So, I chose to channel TLC and Madonna.
00:50:31I appreciated the Madonna blonde ambition nod there. The platform docks, the ball, the bucket hat, it all just creates this bad bitch vibe, and it's so good.
00:50:44I just love that your look got Kelly from 90210 to say, bad bitch.
00:50:48I'm actually very much in awe in the amount of time that you had that you were able to do this. It's damn near perfect.
00:50:57From an editor's perspective, it could walk down a runway. It could be a wonderful editorial picture. Yet all of this doesn't scream retro. It screams future. Thank you.
00:51:11Mimi, you can leave the runway.
00:51:12By the way. I've never seen Mimi like this before, by the way. This, like, look!
00:51:17Yeah!
00:51:18Showed us a whole new side tonight, Mimi.
00:51:20Okay, now moving on to the red team, the losing team tonight. It felt chaotic, honestly, and nobody was on the same page ever.
00:51:34Honestly, and nobody was on the same page ever. Let's get Kane's model out here.
00:51:39Come on, Lyrus.
00:51:40Come on.
00:51:44Kane, what do you think could have put you on the bottom in retrospect?
00:51:49So, I mean, I think it's just the other team did a really fantastic job. We loved a little bit more of the darker side of high school.
00:51:57I thought Kerasan knocked it out of the park and helped take the lead as our, you know, fashion godmother. And we all agreed, let's go with more of the bad girl.
00:52:06Well, I wanted the corset to be the star because her voluptuous, gorgeous shape is beautiful.
00:52:12I am wearing a corset as well, as you can see, so I know you're in pain.
00:52:16She told me she wanted to be snatched, so...
00:52:18It's just such a great fit. I wasn't sure, though, about the combination of the plaids. I was, like, excited to see the flannel tied around the waist, but then she turned around and there was no shirt in the back.
00:52:30The cape, I don't know what to call this, it just didn't come together for me.
00:52:34I didn't love all of that lace covering up her decollete, and then the choker got lost.
00:52:39I am tried and true an evening wear designer, so for me it's a stretch. You know, I remember the 90s, but I was 315 pounds, wearing thrift store clothes, and, like, grew up really poor. So I wasn't the cool kid like a lot of my group.
00:52:54I love your story. Listen, I have ingested a lifetime of Dippin' Dots all through growing up in my little penny loafers, and I was thinking about this as you were talking.
00:53:05I once had a bad girl phase for about three months, and I did a collection that was based on that.
00:53:10And every time I'm challenged with looking back at that collection, I have to close my eyes, because it's not what my brand is about, and that's not what I'm about, right?
00:53:18And so I think that you were trying to fit a square into a circle.
00:53:23Yeah.
00:53:24It's like a good girl trying to be bad.
00:53:28Laris, you can leave the runway.
00:53:32Brittany, let's get your model out here.
00:53:35All right, Brittany, tell us about the choice to go left on the plaid of everybody else.
00:53:42I wanted something a little bit more, like, edgy, and I think that doing this full, like, head-to-toe and plaid would have been a lot.
00:53:49The corset was damn near perfect last night, but, you know, did come totally unbonded right here.
00:53:56Wait, so is that leather?
00:53:57It's faux leather.
00:53:58The pleather is just, it's giving me Halloween costume.
00:54:00Yeah.
00:54:01And ultimately, it didn't feel cohesive.
00:54:05Why was the blue team able to afford leather, and you all felt like you couldn't afford it?
00:54:10We also chose lace, and lace is a very expensive yardage at Moon, so it's either the lace or the real leather.
00:54:17If those overalls were made in pleather, Laurence might be in the bottom tonight.
00:54:22It looks a little cheap.
00:54:23I, too, love a good space bun, but these space buns actually scared me.
00:54:29I agree, Jenny is looking a little diabolical.
00:54:33And the gold grommets for me were a little distracting as a whole.
00:54:37I didn't get it.
00:54:38Marielle, you can leave the runway.
00:54:41Fabio, let's get your look out here.
00:54:48Fabio, tell us about your look and the experience of working with the team.
00:54:51I really thought of Angelina Jolie in Hackers.
00:54:55That is my favorite movie of all time.
00:54:57And I felt like that's the high school that I wanted to go to because everyone was just so fashion-forward and creative and just outcast.
00:55:05I'm not really getting a rebel and an outcast.
00:55:08I was getting Tommy Hilfiger slash Ralph Lauren.
00:55:12I really missed that.
00:55:14Maybe you were being very subtle in your intentions.
00:55:17It almost felt a little safe, Fabio.
00:55:20Yeah.
00:55:20You know what I mean?
00:55:21No, I don't, Nina.
00:55:23Well, I'm telling you, it felt safe.
00:55:25I feel like a lot of energy was put on that vest, but I wanted more.
00:55:30I'll jump in.
00:55:30Jenny, yeah.
00:55:31I love it.
00:55:34That jacket is so inventive and creative.
00:55:36From the neckline to the little zipper, the way it's constructed, the backpack serves a purpose, and it's cute.
00:55:44I quite liked the whole thing.
00:55:46I hear, Nina, like, while I didn't totally get it.
00:55:49Now that you're explaining this raver cyberpunk inspiration, I do see that.
00:55:53I feel like she's carrying her laptop in that.
00:55:56Anything but books.
00:55:57Yeah.
00:55:57I really liked that it cut just so that it framed her underboob.
00:56:06Like, it hinted at bad girl, but she's still smart and on a mission.
00:56:11And I do think there is a world for this backpack.
00:56:14Oh, there is.
00:56:15But there were other looks that had more wow factor, ultimately.
00:56:18I get it.
00:56:19I honestly feel like it's the best thing I've done in the season so far, but I understand the critiques, obviously.
00:56:24Thank you, Fabio.
00:56:25Brandon, you can leave the runway.
00:56:26Thank you, love.
00:56:30We do need some time to talk about this, so we're going to ask you to leave the runway.
00:56:39Congratulations.
00:56:39Congratulations.
00:56:41How did you take a moment, girl?
00:56:43I'm so happy to have you.
00:56:44Okay, we had two teams here.
00:56:46One just felt a little more modern than the other, so should we talk about them first?
00:56:51Yes.
00:56:51Okay, let's start by talking about Praje.
00:56:53I know that there was a hot debate about the Trapper Keeper pockets on the pants.
00:56:58I did not like the Trapper Keepers.
00:57:00I thought that was really heavy.
00:57:02I didn't mind the Trapper Keepers, guys.
00:57:05I also felt like that was kind of hip-hop.
00:57:07So to me, it wasn't distracting in a bad way, necessarily.
00:57:11I love the pop of the white and the freshness of the white.
00:57:14Me too.
00:57:15Me too.
00:57:16And what did you think about Laurence's, Nina?
00:57:18Laurence's now.
00:57:20You can see it walk down a runway today.
00:57:23Laurence's look was done with such incredible detail.
00:57:28In craftsmanship, Laurence's look held my attention the entire time on the runway.
00:57:33But we all love Bhishmi as well.
00:57:35Love, love Bhishmi's look.
00:57:36And I thought what Bhishmi did was so true to him and very true to the challenge.
00:57:41And the numbers that got me, the tribute to his sister.
00:57:45This is a pretty flawless look.
00:57:47It was flirty and fun, and it really did set the tone for him watching that whole show.
00:57:52So we all know who our winner is.
00:57:54Yeah.
00:57:55Now to the hard part.
00:57:56We have to talk about who is going to go home.
00:57:59So let's talk about Kane.
00:58:01That wasn't a good look.
00:58:02From a design perspective, when you step back, it didn't work.
00:58:06I agree.
00:58:07He lost me on the cape.
00:58:09It reminded me of a witch costume, honestly.
00:58:11But that bustier, I thought was really beautiful.
00:58:14It was finished to high hell.
00:58:16I knew it was going to take mine to more of a hot topic place.
00:58:20I didn't have another choice.
00:58:21It was the pleather or nothing.
00:58:23The Siriano ever used to save the Surly.
00:58:26Wishful thinking.
00:58:27Others for me were as bad as Kane.
00:58:29And would you be talking about Fabio?
00:58:31Yeah, I am talking about Fabio, because this is the second time that Fabio gives me something
00:58:36that is very quiet.
00:58:38But I did love that backpack thing.
00:58:42I haven't seen that before.
00:58:43But I'm not so sure that Fabio can deliver something that is not so safe.
00:58:48I love what I made, but let them decide.
00:58:51Let them decide.
00:58:52Let us not forget about Brittany and Pleathergate.
00:58:56Pleathergate.
00:58:572023, having to look at the binding of those seams glued together with that pleather hurt
00:59:03my soul.
00:59:03She was just doing way too damn much with the look.
00:59:07I liked the idea so much of the top, but the bottom was giving me Fredericks of Hollywood.
00:59:14And it just didn't feel at the same level.
00:59:16Yeah.
00:59:16All I know is that when I look at Fabio, Brittany, and Kane, none of those looks went together.
00:59:25I think we all agree.
00:59:26We know who's going home.
00:59:27I just want to kick off by saying we love the 90s, and you all delivered a kick-ass 90s runway
00:59:47show, so you made our jobs so hard.
00:59:52Bishmi, Laurence, and Proje.
00:59:56All three of you delivered modern, successful takes on the 90s.
01:00:03Job well done.
01:00:05Thank you, dude.
01:00:06The winner of this challenge showcased a clear vision, expert execution, and one of the best
01:00:14looks that we've seen in this competition.
01:00:16The winner is Laurence.
01:00:23Yeah.
01:00:24Come on, baby.
01:00:26Thank you, guys.
01:00:28I did.
01:00:29I didn't know you had this in my bag.
01:00:31No, I didn't know you did.
01:00:32You did know.
01:00:32Laurence, your look was so fresh and exciting.
01:00:36It could jump right out of the next fashion magazine.
01:00:38Thank you so much.
01:00:39Bishmi and Proje, you're also in.
01:00:42You can all leave their own way.
01:00:44Thank you, guys.
01:00:45Congrats, Laurence.
01:00:47See ya.
01:00:48I won the challenge.
01:00:50Every challenge, I get to show a little piece of me to the world.
01:00:53So if I can stand by what I do and I love what I do, then I'm winning.
01:00:58The queen of leather.
01:00:59The queen of leather.
01:01:01The queen of leather.
01:01:02The queen of leather.
01:01:04Yes.
01:01:04So deserving, sis.
01:01:06Yes.
01:01:07Hiya.
01:01:09Brittany, Fabio, and Kane.
01:01:11You all three missed the mark for different reasons.
01:01:17Fabio.
01:01:20You are in.
01:01:22Thank you, guys.
01:01:23You can lead the runway.
01:01:24Thank you so much.
01:01:27Congrats, Bishon.
01:01:30I'll promise I won't put up.
01:01:31All right.
01:01:36Brittany and Kane.
01:01:37This part is never easy.
01:01:41One of you will be in and one of you will be out.
01:01:46Brittany, your choice of material was a mistake and it caused the look to go costumey.
01:01:55Kane, your look was confusing.
01:01:58It didn't show your DNA and it wasn't exactly runway ready.
01:02:02Kane, I'm so sorry, but you are out.
01:02:12It's all right.
01:02:14But you know we love you.
