00:00Well, look at that. The Sumerian's got something new.
00:03Here's a look at the brand new heroic signatures Conan the Battle of the Black Stone action figure.
00:30Forged in spirit of sword and sorcery, this action figure brings to life Roberto De La Torre's legendary artwork from Conan Battle of the Black Stone.
00:40Every detail, grim blade, battle-worn fury, and unyielding stance echoes the raw mythic power of that unforgettable event and captures the spirit of Roberto's original piece, ready to strike down all those that serve the vile power of the Black Stone.
00:53I'd like to thank the character of Conan first debuted in 1932, and of all the adventures that the Barbarians had, he's got a new adventure lined up for him with a brand new line of action figures, courtesy of the folks over at Heroic Signatures.
01:06I'd like to thank the folks there that actually reached out to me and provided this early sample.
01:10He currently is on a pre-order. The pre-order started September 1st, and it's going to be going all the way to October 10th.
01:16If you'd like to get your hands on a new line of Conan figures, you can click the link down below.
01:21Now, there are going to be a few little changes from the early sample that we're going to be looking at here to the final product that gets dropped.
01:27Of course, we're going to kind of talk about all those details and the many accessories that come in clue with Conan.
01:32But first things first, as we always do, of course, I'm going to take my tool here, which isn't a sword or an axe.
01:37It is, though, my trusty tape measure. And let's go right to the very top of Conan's head.
01:41If I'm looking at this correctly, and I like to think that I am, you're looking at Conan standing 7 inches in height,
01:47working out to be a figure that's 18 centimeters tall.
01:51I'm sure you're thinking right now, how does the figure scale with others?
01:54Well, probably the best example, I can think of at least, is the display him along with He-Man.
01:58Now, I would have imagined, based on the way they've built the body,
02:02that he would have been about the same size as the Maddie Collector of Mass Universe Classics He-Man,
02:06and that wasn't the case at all.
02:07In fact, though, their version of Conan stands a lot taller than He-Man.
02:11So how does he stack, say, for example, with the Vintage Collection?
02:14Well, he's a little shorter, and he obviously doesn't have the build,
02:18nor does he have the size of his torso like He-Man has,
02:20but he probably would scale a little bit better with that if you're looking to display the two together.
02:25I hope you won't mind if I take a few moments away from looking at his weapons
02:28just to bring back in the box that Conan comes included in.
02:31Now, let's just slide over here the figure for a second.
02:34There will, though, be a couple of changes made to the box itself.
02:37You can see, though, the fantastic artwork featured on the front.
02:40One thing, though, that they will be changing eventually when the figure gets dropped
02:43is that on the side of the box, you can currently see that there's absolutely nothing here at all.
02:47It's just completely blank sides.
02:49They will, though, be also adding embossed symbols.
02:52So that will be one thing that's going to be changing for the box.
02:55The box does have itself a sleeve, so we can just slide off the sleeve right here.
02:59And this then will look like, well, you'll have yourself a clear window
03:02where you'll be able to see the figure sitting inside.
03:04The back of the box does also have a read-up,
03:06which I just happened to have read at the beginning of this review.
03:08I took more so, like, the bottom part of the paragraph, and I read this section right here.
03:13But you can also see, as well, there's a good substantial read to know a little bit more about the Barbarian.
03:18And, of course, there's also stats down below of exactly what comes in clear with the figure as well.
03:22This comes to us, again, from the folks over at Heroic Signatures.
03:25I'll provide all the details down below if you guys want to check out the pre-orders
03:28and find out a little bit more about the company.
03:30I'm sure first, though, you'd like to see the accessories that come in clear with Conan.
03:33Yeah, yeah, I thought that you would.
03:35But the figure does come in clear with some swappable hands,
03:37and he just has, just look at the lay of the land of all the accessories that he also has
03:40for different weapons, different axes, different swords, different things.
03:44Let's look at those things right now.
03:45The one thing, though, that did kind of throw me off
03:47is that the figure does come in clear with a pistol.
03:50I know there's, though, a reference to that in the comics.
03:53Somebody, I'm sure, probably don't tell me down below in the comments section.
03:55But he does come in clear with a pistol.
03:57He does technically also have a gripping hand that has a trigger-firing finger.
04:01So, of course, you can take yourself the pistol, providing, again, I can hold onto it
04:05and just slide the pistol handle inside his grip.
04:08Again, I'm not really sure, though, why they included the pistol.
04:11Somebody, again, that probably has read a lot more Conan than me would be able to tell me why.
04:16He does also have, I suppose, while we're sticking with hands, a whole bunch of swappable hands.
04:20On the ends of his forearms right now, you'll see that the figure does have some relaxed hands.
04:24Good for displaying the figure, obviously, without any weapons.
04:27But, obviously, if you're going to be wanting to change and display them with weapons,
04:31then maybe not using these hands, nor maybe using these hands would be a good idea.
04:35Closed fists come also included with him, but I'm going to put those off to the side.
04:38He does also come in clear with a couple of dynamic hands.
04:41And he does also have another gripping hand.
04:44Now, I have to be honest with you guys.
04:45I did drop a hand earlier, and right now I can't find the whereabouts of this.
04:49Just imagine, if you will, though, it's going to be this hand and just a mirror flip of that.
04:53So, while this one's going to belong on this side of the figure's forearm, the other one, the mirror flip, will go right over here.
05:00And he has two of those as well.
05:02He has, interestingly enough, a couple of swappable feet.
05:05So, if you want to have, for example, him not with, obviously, the furry boots on the ends of his legs,
05:09then you can swap those out.
05:11You can slide those off and give him feet instead.
05:14I'll show you. Don't worry.
05:15The figure does also come in clear with a swappable head.
05:18I suppose I probably could have waited a little while before I showed you guys what the alternate head sculpt looks like.
05:22It looks a little strange, I know, because it doesn't have any hair on the top of his head.
05:26The figure does have a hairpiece swap.
05:29He does also have two helmets, so you can change those around as well.
05:33Looking, though, at his weapons, the figure comes in clear with a couple of axes.
05:37You can probably see which one I lean a little bit more towards.
05:40Yeah, the bloodied axe. How cool is that?
05:42There's a good amount of this. They've gone generous with the blood.
05:45It's all across the blade.
05:46Ooh, don't worry. This isn't sharp.
05:48It's all across the blade. It's nowhere on the handle.
05:51I suppose the blade is probably the thing that's going to be getting the most of the red.
05:55Then he also comes with a clean axe, which isn't at all the same.
05:57This has a completely different blade.
05:59Still, it's not sharp.
06:00I love the way that they've added the silver finish to it.
06:03And if you look real close, you can actually see there's some scratchings, indentations.
06:07They're not perfect-looking blades, nor really should they be either.
06:11If he's in the battlefield and he's using these all the time, these should look crude.
06:14I like that they do.
06:16They're made of a fairly hard enough plastic.
06:19Not the kind of plastic, though, that you really have to worry that they're going to be snapping on you.
06:22This one also does have a handle.
06:24There is no place that I can see on the figure that you can actually clip the handle onto.
06:28But I guess the idea of a dangling axe is not a good idea anyways.
06:32The figure does also come included with a couple of swords.
06:35Technically, he has two already without the sheath.
06:37And then he has a sheath sword down there as well.
06:39One with a little bit more of an elaborate guard, as you can see, is all molded here in black plastic.
06:45It gets nicely added, a little bit of silver on the end.
06:48And you got yourself a more dark gunmetal-grade blade.
06:51The plastic, again, for this is very forgiving.
06:53He also has himself a regular broadsword.
06:56Soft enough, again, plastic that you don't have to worry about these breaking.
06:59The guard is painted really well here in gold.
07:01The handle, notably, though, is a little curved to the side.
07:04I'm not sure if that's the way it's supposed to look,
07:07but it does have a little bit of a bend when you get this out of the plastic tray.
07:10A little bit of gold gets tipped on the end as well.
07:13Lastly, though, for the swords, the figure does also come included with a sword that happens to be sheathed.
07:18You don't really have to make the noise while you're unsheathed in the sword.
07:22And in case you are also curious, too, you can't really use, like, this hilt.
07:26If you stick in the broadsword, it just isn't going to fit.
07:29This one is specifically dedicated for using with this sword here.
07:32This sword is a little bit shorter in size.
07:35It's a little bit broader of a blade, and it's got a completely different guard and hilt.
07:40One thing that's cool, though, about the hilt is not only is it well sculpted and equally well painted,
07:45but there's a clip right here, where, right here, that you can take yourself the figure,
07:50and there's a loop featured on the front.
07:52You just take yourself the scabbard or the sheath, and you basically just fit that in place.
07:56I did notice, though, that the clip seemed a little large, and I wondered for a second,
08:01would there be a real way to clip that onto the figure's front of his waist?
08:05And there is. It's not going to be going anywhere.
08:07It does cause a little bit more issues when it comes to the figure's poseability,
08:10just because you're going to have a harder time to kind of get around things.
08:13But at least there's a storage place to store the blade.
08:16I think, though, it probably could have worked a little bit further over.
08:19There doesn't seem to be any other additional loop other than the one that's featured from the front,
08:23but at least there's a place to store the sword.
08:26Last things, though, the figure does also come in clue with the feline staff.
08:31Really well, again, sculpted, all done here in brown plastic.
08:35The attention, though, to detail for an accessory this small.
08:38Really nice, nice work.
08:40It does have the look of real wood as well.
08:42Like they just took this from a, I don't know, like a root from a tree
08:45and just carved out a cat on the top of it.
08:47Meow!
08:48Then lastly, though, Conan also comes in clue with a spear.
08:51The spear has a few feathers there on the top that seem to be a different paint, obviously.
08:55They're more kind of a greenish beige.
08:58And, of course, you've got yourself the point on the top.
09:00Not much of a point, though.
09:01And, again, they're using kind of more...
09:03I don't really want to kind of show you guys this
09:05and express the idea that they're using a very soft plastic.
09:08But, again, I'd rather this kind of more forgiving plastic.
09:11It's the kind that is very user-friendly,
09:13not the kind you really have to worry about that's snapping on you.
09:16Did we cover everything?
09:17I think we covered everything.
09:18Let's cover at least the top of Conan's head.
09:21So, right now, the figure technically did come out of the packaging
09:24with something different,
09:25but I want to kind of start things first with just hair on his head.
09:28Picking up the Conan, though,
09:29so you guys can see a closer look at the figure.
09:31Now, some changes, though, will be made for the final figure,
09:35one of which being the fact that Conan's teeth
09:36will be a little bit brighter than what you're currently seeing.
09:39I think the teeth are really fine.
09:41I can't think that he's stopping for a second to stop and brush his teeth.
09:44But if you were concerned, though,
09:46that the teeth weren't bright enough or white enough,
09:48the figure's going to have that as well.
09:49So, there's going to be a few changes there.
09:51Some additional articulation is also something that they've worked on
09:53for the final release of the figure.
09:55So, again, this isn't the final.
09:57This is just an early look of what we're going to be getting.
09:59Conan's head, though, looks fantastic.
10:02I don't think I could have picked a better-looking Conan.
10:04Now, granted, again, you can swap out the head,
10:05so if you want to have a more neutral expression,
10:07it has that look as well.
10:09All of these have those swappable pieces,
10:11so you can just take off the hairpiece from the existing Conan head,
10:14and we can put it on top of this Conan's head, just like that.
10:19I'm just going to hold the head for right now.
10:20One thing I did notice, though, is swapping out the heads.
10:22I had to heat it up in hot water.
10:24In fact, there were actually a few things I had to heat on the figure,
10:27realizing later I didn't even need to.
10:29But the head, I would certainly say, is one of those things.
10:32Really nice-looking head sculpt overall,
10:34again, if you want to go with the neutral expression.
10:36I think for my display of Conan,
10:37I would much rather go with the angrier expression.
10:41And again, with that, it's just a case of popping off the head.
10:44Now, I think they're also planning, too,
10:45to add some additional adhesive on the inside.
10:48It's just a light enough glue that everything sort of stays in place.
10:51I didn't really notice, though, that the hairpiece moved around.
10:53I mean, it does, but it also is something that can easily be put back in place.
10:57I mean, if you look at the inside of it anyways,
10:59there's already the shape of that shape that's on the top of his head.
11:02So once you kind of get it all on there,
11:04even if it does move around a little bit,
11:06I don't think it moves around to the point where it becomes a nuisance.
11:10Back, though, to Conan's head,
11:11the one that we have right now on the top of his body.
11:13Yeah, yeah, that's a good-looking head sculpt.
11:15Now, again, if you'd like your Conan to have more of a helmet,
11:18then he also has that look as well.
11:20He has actually two different other helmeted heads.
11:23Essentially, what they are is all different helmets,
11:25but then they have the hairpieces down below.
11:27So the hairpieces are already attached to the actual top crown,
11:30so you can't remove it.
11:32The helmet stays in one place, and so does the hair as well.
11:35So basically, all you just do is you just attach it onto the top of his head like that,
11:39and you have this horned look for Conan.
11:42If you like, maybe the alternate look as well.
11:44Now, this was actually the helmet that they used at the front of the packaging for their artwork.
11:48Again, you just pop that off,
11:50and you replace it with the new one.
11:52The hair does change a little bit, too.
11:55So with every different helmet, you get a different hairstyle as well.
11:59I think of all the helmets, this is definitely my favorite.
12:01I like the way the hair flows a little bit more.
12:03It's not concealed behind the leather flaps there.
12:06I think it's just, I think this is the best head sculpt of all the three,
12:09or at least the different hair pieces.
12:10This one, again, admittingly, does move around a little bit.
12:13It is something, though, that they're going to be fixing with the figure's final release.
12:17Conan, you'll see as well, does also have the necklace.
12:19That necklace is something that you'd have to take the head off first and remove the necklace.
12:23I can't really see why you'd really want to take off the necklace.
12:25It's just one of the more looks.
12:27It's a classic look to the character.
12:28I feel it's something that needs to stay in place.
12:31Speaking of things that need to stay in place,
12:33the figure does also come included with a leather tunic.
12:36Now, the tunic was something I thought to myself,
12:39I'm going to have to probably heat these arms,
12:40or at least try to remove them,
12:42because I thought the only way to actually have this piece off,
12:45because he basically has a torn bit of,
12:47I would almost even want to really say like a tank top,
12:50but it's a torn bit of cloth that's covering over his body.
12:53Initially looking at this and thinking I would have to detach the body,
12:56remove the arms, and do all those things,
12:58I tried to do that initially.
13:00Conan does actually have a band that goes across his bicep,
13:04and with unfortunately heating this in hot water,
13:06only just the arms,
13:08this ended up snapping the band.
13:09It was just a little thin bit of plastic that wrapped around his bicep.
13:13I didn't realize till though later,
13:15if you look at the way that they've actually attached this,
13:17there is a peg right there.
13:19Oh, right there.
13:21I mean, it's so concealed and small.
13:23I mean, you'd be easy to overlook it.
13:25Basically, all it is,
13:26is just you detach the top of the body.
13:28Oh, actually, sorry, it's on this side.
13:30But even still though, if you look at that,
13:32that's so small,
13:33you wouldn't even be able to spot it right away.
13:35What you'll really need just to do is unpeg this.
13:38And then I would almost even say it's probably beneficial
13:41just to kind of take off Conan.
13:43And we'll just kind of remove this off the top of his body.
13:46Now, this just slides over top of his head.
13:48You don't have to worry about removing his head.
13:50You don't have to worry about removing his arms.
13:53Don't do any of those things.
13:54Don't do what I just did,
13:55or don't do what I did earlier.
13:56It's easy just to detach the peg
13:58and just remove it altogether.
14:01So let's say if you want to just kind of keep Conan
14:03with this bare chest,
14:04you can do that as well.
14:05It's a really well-sculpted chest.
14:07I think they've done a nice job of painting it as well.
14:11This would, in theory,
14:12be one of the three different ways of displaying Conan,
14:14really being mixing and repeating.
14:16You could then have the tunic on him.
14:18You could have, again,
14:18like the torn bit of tank top cloth.
14:21And then with the different head sculpts that he has,
14:23let's just say, for example,
14:24you want to get a hairpiece going on Conan.
14:26Even just that alone,
14:28that's a good looking Conan figure.
14:29Boy, oh boy, is that ever great.
14:31But again, if you want to have the tunic on him,
14:33essentially what it is,
14:34is just if you look at the side of this,
14:36there's that same peg,
14:37but it actually is times two.
14:39So there's a peg right here and a peg right here.
14:41Detach the both.
14:44Get my finger in there just to do this.
14:46And just open up the tunic.
14:49And we're basically just going to kind of slide this up his arm.
14:52We're going to have to kind of slide this over top of his head as well.
14:54And this might even just be easier just to remove the hairpiece.
14:57Drape it over top of his head.
15:00It's a little tighter of a fit,
15:02but you'll get it over there.
15:05Just get it over his ear there.
15:06There we go.
15:08Slide it over top of his body.
15:10I want to also really make sure that his necklace is properly brought down.
15:16I could probably even fix that later.
15:17And then just go to the side here again,
15:19and you're going to attach the two pieces together.
15:21Now, this is unlike the other one.
15:24I found a little bit more of a tighter fit.
15:26I had a real hard time, actually,
15:28just to kind of bring the pieces together.
15:29And once you peg them together,
15:31they seem to come loose a little easier.
15:33Now, that may be something that they're going to be fixing
15:35with the final release of Conan here.
15:37But again, if you want to have the figure with the tunic,
15:39it's easy to pull off.
15:41Now, to finish that look,
15:43let's maybe get this crowned head.
15:46And again, we'll just put the helmet on top of his head like that.
15:49Make sure it's all the way on there.
15:51And now Conan has a third look
15:53that you can have the figure displayed with.
15:55With that, and then, of course,
15:56all the other accessories that he has,
15:58the swords, the axes,
15:59there's a lot of cool ways of displaying the figure.
16:01For the rest of things that are going on here with Conan,
16:04he's got the furry little,
16:05I guess, little wristbands there on the sides of his hands.
16:09One thing you really want to make sure, though,
16:10that you do is when you swap out his hands, for example,
16:14they're easy to remove from the peg,
16:16but these also can be easily removed as well.
16:19And there was a few times that when I changed his hands,
16:22that the bracelets fell off as well.
16:24So you want to make sure that the bracers stay in place
16:26when you peg in the new hand.
16:27So again, the hand just kind of goes in place like that.
16:30And then, of course, you can have the figure holding a sword.
16:32Yeah, overall, though,
16:34he's got his loincloth bound down below here as well.
16:37Softer plastic.
16:38They didn't really so much finish the paint underneath.
16:41I don't think they really needed to either.
16:43I don't think Conan's really sporting any underwear
16:45or anything like that underneath the loincloth.
16:47But it's a really well-sculpted figure.
16:49Paint is good there, too.
16:51He's got a dark tan,
16:52but I think that works really well for the character of Conan.
16:54And, of course, if we don't drop the figure,
16:56he does also have his furry boots.
16:58Now, I did talk earlier, though,
16:59that the figure does also have feet, bare feet.
17:02So what you can do, though,
17:04and this may not be the look that you're going to want to have.
17:05Like, I would imagine, though,
17:06if you want to go bare-footed for Conan,
17:09likely, though, you probably would end up removing the tunic
17:12and probably just have him bare-chested instead.
17:14What you'll do, though, is just detach the feet like that,
17:17and then you'll take the fur end of the boot and slide it off.
17:21Not so hard to do.
17:23Just do the same thing on the other side as well
17:25and slide this off.
17:27Now, when you are putting on the new feet,
17:29if I get these all the way off,
17:31when you put on the new feet,
17:32they don't go down like this.
17:34They actually go on an angle.
17:36So, again, you want to make sure that the feet are on the right side,
17:39and you'll just plug this in place on one side.
17:44This would also be something, too,
17:45that I think if you're having any issues to get the feet in place,
17:49you can also heat them up in hot water.
17:50Now, I didn't have an issue necessarily with the feet.
17:53I find they were easy enough to peg in place.
17:56Again, when you're looking at the peg,
17:57the peg kind of slips in like a slipper.
18:00Does that make sense?
18:00I hope that makes sense.
18:02Again, we'll do it on this side as well.
18:05So, if you want to have Conan, though,
18:06with sporting just barefooted like this,
18:08that's a look that you can easily pull off.
18:11I think he's just as finished, though, down below.
18:13I really prefer myself to have the boots on.
18:15If you don't really like the look of the fur boots,
18:17just, again, leave them completely off.
18:19It's entirely up to you how you'd really like to display the figure.
18:23Four, when it comes to displaying the figure,
18:24I'm sure one thing you may want to know
18:26is just how much poseability does actually get packed on the figure.
18:29Now, there are a few things, though,
18:31that they have planned for the initial.
18:33Like this, again, is just the early look at the figure,
18:35but when they finally release the figure in,
18:37well, I guess when the pre-order ends in October,
18:39then they're going to start to ship the figure after that.
18:41There are a few, though, things that they're going to be changing
18:43when it comes to the figure's articulation.
18:45Mainly, though, that the arms will bend back
18:46a little bit further than what they do right now.
18:48And I did notice, though, with Conan's arms,
18:51there is swivelage.
18:52You can move them back,
18:53and it's harder now to probably see
18:54because it's got the tunic over top of it.
18:56But there's also a crunch moving forward and back as well.
19:00Also, things, too,
19:02is that they're going to also fix the shoulders.
19:04So the shoulders do stick out a little bit further.
19:07You may be able to spot it on the sides.
19:08That's also something that's going to be fixed
19:10with the final figure as well.
19:11So for the figure's articulation, though,
19:13Conan's head is going to be on a ball joint.
19:15Now, one thing I've noticed, though, with the ball joint
19:17is that you do periodically feel
19:19that you need to pop it back in place.
19:21But the head does look down, it does look up,
19:23and you can also move it back and forth.
19:25Just know, though,
19:26and again, this may have more to do with the fact
19:27that this is just an early look of the figure,
19:29I've noticed, though, with my head,
19:31it does pop off frequently.
19:33Head rotates back and forth.
19:34No issues there whatsoever.
19:36The top of the torso is going to be on a ball joint.
19:38Now, it's probably hard now to see
19:39because the tunic was in the way.
19:41But he has, essentially,
19:42the top of his torso is independently ball joint
19:45from the lower half of his abdomen.
19:47And then further down from that,
19:48the figure does also have a ball joint here, too.
19:50There's quite a bit of mobility
19:51at Conan's possession.
19:53His arms do rotate all the way around.
19:55You can hinge them also out as well.
19:57Now, I don't know if maybe this is one thing
19:59that they will be fixing
20:00with the final release of him.
20:01I've noticed that the shoulders,
20:03this side, is a little tight.
20:04This side comes out,
20:06not necessarily, I would say,
20:07comfortably at 90 degrees.
20:09Pulls off more so, I think,
20:1045 to about 50 degrees.
20:12The figure does have a bicep swivel.
20:14More so, I shouldn't really say bicep swivel.
20:17He has, essentially, like a swivel right here,
20:19but the swivel is all, essentially, one piece.
20:21So what they've done
20:21is to make this seamless look,
20:24they've, essentially, pegged it right here,
20:26right, kind of, within his armpit.
20:28So if you look at it,
20:29there's actually a peg,
20:30and the peg plugs into the bicep.
20:32That's the part that swivels.
20:33It's not actually something
20:34that's visibly seen from the side.
20:36It does have a single bend in the elbow.
20:38Let's just get things going here.
20:40And you can also swivel back and forth.
20:42And the hands, there goes the other one.
20:44At least I know where that one is.
20:44I'm going to go back
20:45and retrieve that in a second.
20:46But that does also swivel back and forth, too.
20:49The only other thing I would say
20:50is, like, the pegs are really small for the wrists.
20:53So as you are moving frequently, though,
20:55the hands,
20:55you might find that the hand pops off.
20:57Again, if you know where it is,
20:59I can see it, at least right now.
21:00It's down there.
21:01It's something that you can just
21:02peg it back in place.
21:03The legs do split.
21:05The work behind the scenes
21:06are those ball joints.
21:07There is a swivel at the top of the thigh.
21:10Double hinge on the knee.
21:11And then, again,
21:11whatever design you want to display with Conan,
21:14whether you want to go with the furry boots
21:15or you want to go barefooted,
21:17they're going to work exactly the same.
21:18The pegs do move back and forth.
21:20I know, though,
21:20I just don't have it pegged
21:21all the way on there.
21:22There we go.
21:23The foot moves up and down this way.
21:25There is an ankle pivot.
21:26But one thing that's missing, though,
21:28on this release,
21:29well, this look of Conan,
21:30let's just put the figure down here for a second.
21:32One thing, though,
21:33that the bare feet don't do,
21:35that the regular boots do,
21:36is actually the boots do have toe articulation.
21:39The bare feet don't,
21:40but the boots do.
21:42So there is technically
21:43a little bit of additional possibility
21:44there as well.
21:45Conan, though,
21:46is a fantastic looking figure.
21:47I grew up loving Conan as a kid.
21:49Conan the adventurer
21:50was also one thing I loved watching
21:52Saturday mornings on Fox.
21:54To finally now have ourselves
21:55a release of Conan
21:56really is a dream come true.
21:58Now, then again,
21:59the figure does have
21:59quite a lot of accessories
22:00at his disposal.
22:01He does also have
22:02a lot of swappable accessories, too.
22:04So if you don't like
22:05the look of the tunic
22:05or you don't like
22:06the look of the helmet,
22:07you can also go
22:08with different looks as well.
22:09The figure does have
22:10a couple of different
22:11swappable hair pieces.
22:12So you already have
22:13just the regular long locks of hair
22:15if you want to go that route.
22:16And then he has
22:16two different distinct helmets,
22:18one from another.
22:19There's this one.
22:20Again, I think that works
22:21a little bit better, though,
22:22with the tunic.
22:22I think, though,
22:23when it comes to displaying
22:24this guy on the shelf,
22:25I think I'm more to go with,
22:26I think, the torn,
22:27tattered fabric
22:27that he had at the very beginning
22:28and sport him then
22:30with this helmet.
22:31Again, I think it's
22:31my favorite of the three.
22:33All in all, though,
22:33it's just a great-looking figure.
22:35Now, the pre-order
22:36is currently going
22:37as we speak.
22:38It started September 1st
22:40and it's going all the way,
22:42I believe,
22:42to October 10th.
22:44Now, again,
22:44if you want to know
22:45a little bit more
22:46about what's going to be
22:46going on with that,
22:47you can click the link
22:48down below.
22:49That will take you over
22:49to the pre-order listing
22:50of Conan
22:51where you can get
22:51this one for yourself.
22:52I know, though,
22:53that they are planning
22:54to do some other figures
22:55as well,
22:55that this is just the beginning.
22:57Just the beginning.
22:58And if this is how well
22:59we've gotten these figures
23:00and this sort of sets
23:02the bar pretty high
23:03with a Conan,
23:04I'd love to see,
23:04and I can't wait to see
23:05what the company has in store
23:07for collectors moving forward.
23:08It seemed to have
23:09started the video
23:10with one look to the Barbarian,
23:11now we're wrapping up
23:12with another.
23:12I think that's the thing
23:13I like the most
23:14about Heroic Signature's
23:15release of their Conan
23:16the Barbarian
23:16because on paper,
23:17this company could have
23:18just tested the waters
23:19with collectors,
23:20released a safe Conan.
23:21And when I say safe Conan,
23:23just with the amount
23:24of budget that would have
23:24gone in just to releasing
23:25a bare-chested Conan,
23:27just with his long locks
23:28of hair,
23:28let's throw in an axe,
23:29let's throw in a sword,
23:30let's throw in some
23:30swappable hands,
23:31and just to see
23:32how much interest
23:33would have been out there
23:34from the collectors
23:34before they released
23:35any other releases of him.
23:37Because when you start
23:37to look at and take
23:38the tally of the things
23:39that come in clear
23:40with this figure,
23:41on paper,
23:42this figure could have
23:42been released
23:43as three separate ones.
23:45The way that he looked
23:46at the beginning
23:46of this video,
23:47again,
23:47a bare-chested version
23:48of him,
23:49and now the way
23:49he looks right now,
23:50three separate Conan's.
23:52But they didn't do that.
23:53They threw everything
23:54in there,
23:54all in one box,
23:55and allowed then
23:56the collectors the choice
23:57exactly how they want
23:58to display the figure.
23:59I do like the way
24:00he looks right now
24:01with the leather tunic
24:02that color matches
24:03really nicely
24:03to the loincloth
24:04and also the leather flaps
24:06on this particular helmet.
24:07The fact that he has
24:08two different swappable faces,
24:10the more stoic face,
24:11the angrier face,
24:12two different helmets,
24:13the hairpiece,
24:14again,
24:14he has multiple axes,
24:15multiple swords,
24:16multiple accessories,
24:18and then on top of that,
24:18he also comes in clear
24:19with a pistol.
24:20That pistol,
24:21by the way,
24:21though,
24:22wasn't something
24:22obviously Conan
24:23the Barbarian
24:23was traditionally
24:24known for having.
24:25The concept of him
24:26wielding one
24:26actually comes from
24:27a non-canonical
24:28comic series
24:29of Conan and Frank's
24:31Jurassic Adventures
24:32where he's given
24:33one to use,
24:34but obviously Conan
24:35doesn't know
24:35how to use a pistol.
24:37I like that they
24:37actually threw that
24:38in there,
24:38an accessory that
24:39as a Conan collector,
24:41one would never
24:41have even expected
24:42a pistol,
24:43but heroic signatures
24:44threw that in there
24:45as well.
24:45Now,
24:46again,
24:46this figure
24:46is going to be
24:47slated to drop.
24:48At least the pre-order
24:49is ending October 10th.
24:51As we're speaking
24:52right now,
24:53the pre-order
24:53is currently live.
24:54It starts September 1st,
24:552025.
24:55It's going to be
24:56wrapping up October 10th,
24:572025.
24:58And again,
24:59this is an early look
25:00at what the figure
25:01is going to be.
25:01There's going to be
25:01a few little tweaks
25:02that they're going
25:03to be making.
25:03By the way,
25:04though,
25:04I did actually
25:05end up finding
25:05the hand.
25:06That allows him,
25:07though,
25:07to unsheathe the sword
25:08with one side
25:09and have the bloodied axe
25:11in another.
25:12But with this early
25:13look at the figure,
25:13there are going to be,
25:14again,
25:14some few changes
25:15that we've already
25:15kind of discussed
25:16in this video.
25:16The whiter teeth,
25:17a few little kind of
25:18tolerances and adjustment
25:19issues,
25:19though,
25:20in the shoulders.
25:21Out the gate,
25:21though,
25:21with at least this
25:22being an early look
25:23to Conan,
25:24I am really happy
25:25with the way
25:25he turned out.
25:26Now,
25:26this,
25:27by the way,
25:27is the first figure
25:28in their whole line
25:29of heroic signatures.
25:30They've already
25:30kind of teased
25:31the idea that perhaps
25:32they're going to be
25:32doing a Solomon Cain,
25:33a Cull,
25:34and even other versions
25:35of Conan.
25:35If this is any indication
25:37of what we're going
25:37beginning with future
25:38figures from heroic signatures,
25:40sign me up.
25:41Again,
25:41a big thank you
25:42to the folks
25:42over heroic signatures
25:43that did provide
25:44this early look
25:44of Conan
25:45from Battle of the Black Stone.
25:47What do you guys
25:48think of this figure?
25:48Let me know down below
25:49in the comments section.
25:50Is this someone
25:50that's already
25:51got you reeled in

25:54that you guys
