00:00I saw that there's a GoFundMe to fly a fire Chris Greer banner over Hard Rock Stadium.
00:05We've gotten to that point.
00:08I believe right now the goal according to this page was $900.
00:17They have reached $1,550.
00:23So here's the problem.
00:30I don't have a problem with fans doing what they want to do.
00:35But what I would say is this.
00:40You have to tell me why.
00:46And I would say this.
00:49Here's what Chris Greer's job is.
00:50Chris Greer's job is to get the tools in which the coach can win.
00:56If I were to have a problem with Chris Greer, it would be this.
01:02We have more veterans and more hurt players than anybody in the NFL.
01:08You have signed more injured guys.
01:11Doesn't make it real conducive to winning.
01:13The guys that have been productive have gotten to a point where you can't afford them.
01:20They're not with you.
01:22So you don't even have the good versus the bad to kind of even it out.
01:26Do you want me to read the banner description?
01:31I guess you're going to read it anyway.
01:35I mean, yeah.
01:36I mean, this guy put a lot of thought into it.
01:39What does it say?
01:40My brother is expecting his firstborn son this year, and it got him to thinking about generational trauma.
01:46As our family gathered for their first Dolphins game of the season, he asked an important moral question.
01:50Is it fair to raise my son as a Dolphins fan?
01:53They have been trashed for 25 years, and with this front office, they will be trashed for another 25 years.
01:58It was my curse, but it doesn't have to be his cross to bear.
02:01I can break the cycle, his brother said.
02:04This is the state of 2025 Dolphins fandom.
02:06We have not won a playoff game since before 9-11.
02:10I'm not saying there's any connection, but you do the math.
02:13While it would be easy to blame Sperano, Wanstache, Bill Parcells, Philbin, McDaniels, etc., the real culprit here is the front office.
02:19For decades, we have watched quarterback after quarterback get pummeled into the dirt because his offensive line is composed of nothing but turnstiles and matadors.
02:27And the occasional all-pro left tackle we lose after refusal to pay him.
02:34I have great sympathy for the front office staff, and this is one of, if not the premier sports league in the world.
02:40You're competing to be the best and the brightest.
02:42It can be a very difficult job, but at some point, if you can't find a way to field a competitive team after multiple seasons of failure, it's time to move on and find somebody who can.
02:50Again, for that reason, but for some reason, Chris Greer, he says, but for some reason, I assume he has compromising photos.
02:58Chris Greer keeps shopping for O-Lyman at the Island of Misfit Toys.
03:02If I worked at Dairy Queen and I was this bad at my job, I would have been fired years ago.
03:07It's only fair to treat Chris Greer the same.
03:10I understand that asking to donate money to fly a banner asking for somebody to be fired may be mean,
03:15but please think of two and his family.
03:17If we keep trotting out empty potato sacks to block for him, he will be irreparably mauled on the field at Joe Robbie,
03:23and we will have to look at ourselves in the mirror knowing we could have done something about it.
03:27This guy's old.
03:28For the sake of mercy and justice, we must hashtag fire Chris Greer.
03:33Thank you for your attention to this matter.
03:36My God.
03:37Can I just say this?
03:40As much as I am against something like this, there's some valid points.
03:46Wow.
03:48Right?
03:48Like, I can't call him wrong.
03:51Okay, I have updates.
03:52He has updates to this.
03:55Update one.
03:56By popular demand, Mike McDaniel has been added to the banner.
04:04Update two.
04:06Any funds raised above the goal be donated to CTE Research in honor of all the Dolphins QBs this organization has scrambled.
04:14Update three.
04:15A few Dolphins have reached out asking to add two to the banner, but as disappointed as I am with his performance,
04:20I'm not going to shame the victim of Chris Greer's refusal to assemble a competent offensive line.
04:24Again, like, the guy, look, the guy's been very thoughtful in this.
04:31I'm not, I'm not going to blast him.
04:34I'm not.
04:35Update four.
04:36Wow.
04:37That was fast.
04:38I'll book the plane tomorrow morning and post an update here when we confirm the time and date of the flight.
04:43Update five.
04:44The plane has been chartered.
04:45It will fly over Joe Robbie from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday before the home opener during peak tailgate hours.
04:54Peak.
04:56He's very thoughtful.
04:57He's very thoughtful.
05:00So, so here's, again, and we have, and I will say this.
05:09I have, you know, a part of this that I get to see all the after the fact stuff, right?
05:23Again, I don't care what offensive coordinator you are, what kind of guru you are.
05:30If you have the ball two and a half minutes in a quarter, it's going to look bad, okay?
05:36That's, unless you mysteriously score it in two minutes, which this team hasn't done in a while.
05:43Now, the thing that I'll say, and I've said this all along with Chris Greer, the reason why what he's doing looks so bad is that every time you get a good player because of what you've done with the rest of the team, you now can't afford the guy that you drafted.
06:07So, if you had just kept all the guys that you drafted that are going somewhere else and balling out, think of what kind of team you'd have, and it would all be yours.
06:22You understand what I'm saying?
06:23Yeah.
06:24I mean, like, look.
06:24Here's that.
06:25Here's the other thing.
06:26If you look at the success in the NFL, it is all centered around two bodies on the field, the offensive line and the defensive line.
06:42You, for reasons I can't explain, have spent all your money on the perimeter of both of those.
06:51So, you've built a team that, if you look at football, has not been successful in years.
07:04I think the thing that's probably frustrating for people, too, is he doesn't feel like, as a GM, he has any vision.
07:10Like, it always feels like he's reacting.
07:12You know, it's always.
07:14Oh, no.
07:14I got to sign somebody.
07:15Oh, no.
07:16I got to draft this guy.
07:17Oh, I don't.
07:18Like, he doesn't have a philosophy.
07:19And the thing that pisses me off about him is, like, he comes out there and he goes, oh, you know, you guys are more concerned about the O-line than we are.
07:29It's like, are you blind?
07:31And, like, they were doing.
07:32And just, like, we all can see this type of stuff.
07:36And you are always in this thing where it's like, you know, first off, he was like, I'm Mr. Get Along With Everybody.
07:43I'm going to work with the coach.
07:44I'm going to work with the GM.
07:46I'm going to do all these things.
07:47Then I'm F them picks, guys.
07:48I'm going to trade all my guys for stars.
07:50I'm going to make blockbuster trades.
07:52And everybody will applaud me.
07:53And then when it comes time to.
07:55Yeah, there's just nothing.
07:56It's like he always.
07:57And then this year, he comes into it.
07:59And he goes, you know, I probably have been deferring too much to the coaches.
08:02And I'm just like, all right.
08:04You know what I would say?
08:05And we've been spoiled.
08:09And here's why.
08:10Ever since Bill Zito took over, he has had a plan.
08:16He has had an idea of what type of player he wanted, what player fits what goal and what need.
08:24And he's used the system to be able to pay more money, right?
08:31And get those players in.
08:33But most of the guys that he has brought in, he's tried to find a way to keep them and continue building on it, right?
08:43So when you look at all the guys that he's brought in and the role that they fill on this team, they all have a – you can almost see, right, what role this guy plays.
08:57Oh, he's going to help this aspect of the Panthers.
09:00He's going to help this aspect of the Panthers, right?
09:03Now, I will say this, as just a guy who likes football and knows a little bit about it, right?
09:14Tua is like – when you brought Tua into the league and Tobin, you – Brittany, you might know about this, but I'm going to explain to you how it worked with me.
09:27I used to drive to get where I'm going, right?
09:31Like, I was the guy in the left lane, you know, riding behind the fastest guy.
09:39Then I went to the hospital and picked up Rebecca.
09:43I'll be damned if for the next three years I didn't drive the speed limit.
09:47You know why?
09:50Because I had my baby girl in the back, right?
09:53You knew when you brought Tua and drafted him number five that if he was going to have any success based on what he's been through that you were going to have to protect him as so many other coaches have determined with their quarterback.
10:16And the fact of the matter is, is that you have not ever made a conscious effort to get the people in front of him that allows him to be the player that he could be.
10:33That is the biggest fault of Chris Greer.
10:37And you could put whatever twist you are in.
10:41We've tried – we – man, we've tried to sell players that we don't even know and say it's going to work out.
10:49Maybe Larry Borum is going to catch lightning in a bottle this weekend, dude.
10:52Right.
10:53But here's the other thing you have to understand.
10:56If any of these guys were good, they would already be making big money because everybody's looking for offensive linemen except the Dolphins.
