00:41Welcome. Welcome to Opel.
00:46What a year it has been for the automotive industry as a whole and of course for us at Opel.
00:52First, let me talk about the industry overall.
00:55We still see a significant dynamic this year.
00:58The move to electromobility is progressing, especially here in Germany.
01:04In the first eight months of the year, we saw significant growth in battery electric vehicle sales.
01:11The electric market is up by 39%.
01:13In addition, we see strong and growing customer demand for hybrid models.
01:20We at Opel have been busy launching exciting cars that meet this increasing demand for electrified mobility.
01:28Over the last year, we have seen an unprecedented product offensive at Opel.
01:34We have launched no less than three new Opel models at the heart of the European market.
01:41And I am of course talking about our new SUVs.
01:44The new Frontera is family-friendly, rugged, spacious, and offers great packaging and value for money.
01:52It is the most compact seven-seater SUV on the market.
01:56It is small enough for the city.
01:59It is roomy enough for road trips.
02:01And it is available with battery electric or hybrid powertrains.
02:05Thanks to these attributes, Frontera is already very popular with our customers.
02:12The new Grandland is our top-of-the-line SUV, designed, engineered, and manufactured here in Germany.
02:20It is also the first Opel to feature a battery made by us in Europe.
02:25It offers electric all-wheel drive and soon a version with a range of around 700 kilometers.
02:33And meanwhile, the new Mokka still turns heads with its stunning design and its great overall package.
02:40It remains our brand icon in the small SUV segment and attracts new customers.
02:45These three fantastic new SUVs represent a truly outstanding and fresh lineup in Europe's most important market segments.
02:55And thanks to the new Mokka, the new Frontera, and the new Grandland,
02:59we can already see a significant increase in order intake and growth in market share,
03:05month after month, in and outside of Europe.
03:09I am happy to report that our established bestsellers continue to perform well.
03:14The Corsai is the best-selling small car in Germany for the fifth year in a row.
03:20And it is the most popular small car in the UK.
03:23The Astra, designed, engineered, and manufactured in Rüsselsheim,
03:28is in the top three in its segment in Germany.
03:31And we have recently widened our offer even more with our new Astra plug-in hybrid.
03:37It now provides even more battery electric range and even more power.
03:41And we are sure that these new engines will give an additional boost to our popular compact car.
03:49The Astra is actually the perfect illustration of our customer-centric approach.
03:54Like all our models, it is available as a fully electric vehicle.
03:59It can also be ordered as a highly efficient hybrid that can cover up to 1,200 kilometers on a single tank.
04:07The brand-new plug-in hybrid, as well as the petrol and diesel engines, complete the offer.
04:15Thanks to our flexible multi-energy strategy, the customer has the freedom to decide which drivetrain suits best.
04:22At Opel, the customer will always come first.
04:25And while we fully embrace the switch to electromobility, we will continue to provide the full freedom of choice in the coming years.
04:33Ladies and gentlemen, driven by our new SUVs and our hugely popular Corsa and Astra, Opel is on a firm path to growth this year.
04:43So, as you can see, we have been very busy in the last 12 months.
04:48But now, it is time to look into the future.
04:51Now, we are going to dial up the excitement, capturing the hearts of driving enthusiasts and motorsport fans alike.
04:59Motorsport is in our DNA.
05:01We are fast, focused, and always pushing the limits.
05:04And, of course, we do it always for the benefit of the customers.
05:09The powerful Opel heritage in rallying, touring cars, and high-performance road cars has resulted in decades of expertise at Opel.
05:19And we have used this expertise to reinvent Opel GSE for the electric age.
05:26Grand Sport Electric, in short, GSE, was first introduced at Opel with powerful plug-in hybrids.
05:32And from this year, we are going all-in.
05:36We are boosting performance and taking the electric driving experience to the next level.
05:42G now stands for Grand, for German engineering, and for goosebumps.
05:47S stands for sport, speed, and sustainability.
05:52And E for electric, for excitement, and for euphoria.
05:57And this leads me to our world premiers of today, both of which have been created at Opel.
06:02Out of, and for excitement, under our famous GSE label.

06:40So, what can you tell us about GSE at Opel?
06:43GSE is our purest driving expression of driving excitement, shaped by our rich motorsport heritage
06:51and made for those who truly love to drive.
06:56And today, that spirit takes form in our two new Premiers, cars designed to make your heart
07:03race.

07:46And I can tell you, it drives the way it looks.
07:50Now, before I go into detail about Mokka GSE, let me tell you about its origins.
07:56GSE is born from motorsports, something we are very proud of at Opel.
08:00Since 2021, Opel is a true pioneer in the electric rally, running the world's first manufacturer
08:08electric rally car with our Corsa.
08:10No one is doing what we are doing, so we know what it takes to make an exciting, safe and
08:19fast electric rally car.
08:20And earlier this year, we put all of that know-how into our next generation race car, the new Mokka GSE rally car.
08:30Double the power, double the performance, it's ready to enter the rally stage in 2026.
08:39During the development of the new Mokka GSE rally car, one thing became clear, very quickly.
08:45This level of performance shouldn't be limited to racing, it had to be made available to everyone.
08:52And the result is here, behind me.
08:56The new Opel Mokka GSE takes everything we learned in rally and brings it to the road.
09:01The battery, the electric motor, the impressive torque and power are all shared between the rally and the street versions.
09:11The result, Opel's fastest electric production car ever built.
09:18We can't wait to get it into the hands of our fans.
09:23Order books are open today, and here in Germany it can be used from just 399 euros a month.
09:29And this is only the start.
09:33GSE is built on three pillars.
09:36Race, as shown through our motorsports.
09:39Drive, by bringing that racing technology to the road through cars like the new Mokka GSE.
09:46And play.
09:48Play is our gateway to adventure.
09:51For kids, playing sparks discovery.
09:54For adults, it fuels imagination and pushes limits.
09:57Play is the ultimate stage to unleash our next chapter of GSE.

10:07And that brings us to our second world premiere of today.
10:11The Opel Corsa GSE Vision Grand Turismo.
10:15A visionary car, born for the race circuit, showing the bold, exciting future of GSE.
10:22And built on the foundation of our most accessible model, the Corsa.
10:28This is the first concept car we have built for both the physical and the digital world.
10:35Not just to be looked at, but to be experienced and raced.
10:39Whether here at the Opel stand in Munich City Center or from your own sofa at home.
10:45To do this, we have partnered with a game that connects car levels and races like no other.
10:52Grand Turismo 7.
10:55Grand Turismo combines the realistic driving physics with automotive passion.
11:00The unrivaled attention to detail and deep connection to real-world motorsport make Grand Turismo the world's leading racing simulator.
11:12Speaking of racing, I think it's time to reveal the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Grand Turismo.
11:20And who better to do that with than our Vice President Design, Mark Adams.

11:42Introducing the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Grand Turismo.
11:49We need a rush.

12:20You've got enough.
12:35Wow.
12:36That's what I call a racing car, right?
12:38The Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo is a performance beast.
12:43With two electric motors, it delivers instant power and torque,
12:48launching from 0 to 100 in just 2 seconds
12:51and on to a top speed of 300 km per hour.
12:56So fast, you won't even have time to say OMG.
13:01And just as its engineering and performance pushes boundaries,
13:05so does its next level of design.
13:08For that, over to you, Mike.

13:12Yeah, so here it is, our vision of the future of GSE.
13:17And of course, much more.
13:19As mentioned earlier, we deliberately chose our favorite small car, the Corsa,
13:24as the basis of our inspiration,
13:26bringing small car agility with the max of everything.
13:31You've already heard about the fantastic potential performance of this concept.
13:36So now, let's talk about the exciting design.
13:40This concept not only represents our vision for GSE,
13:44but we also take a confident step forward with our bold and pure design language.
13:50So let's go take a closer look.
13:52Of course, the very first thing you see is the very strong illuminated compass that we have,
13:58with this center line lining up with our traditional center peak that we have in all of our cars.
14:05But this vehicle is about contrast.
14:09Much like our bold and pure language, this is about strong contrast.
14:14And for example, when you look at the white areas,
14:16with this fluidity and sculpture, and yet still structured precision,
14:21combined with these very graphic technical areas in the yellow and black here in the lower areas.
14:28But these areas of contrast are there for a very deliberate reason.
14:35We're a German company, and we do things with purpose.
14:39So if you look at those functional technical areas, they perform a very strong role.
14:44And let me just talk you through some of the key aerodynamics.
14:47For example, from down low, you can get the airflow of the car to really optimize over the top of the vehicle here,
14:55really giving fantastic optimal performance.
14:59And then using these very precise, pronounced fenders that are done in a sustainable material,
15:06these also guide the airflow down this very dramatic body side here.
15:12And then talking of dramatic, the separation of that airflow is done with two dramatic elements here.
15:21With it, the roof spoiler and the venturi duct here really extend to give the ultimate aero drag performance.
15:31But within the game, you can also see that this acts as an air brake.
15:35So again, really tied to the performance of the car itself.
15:40And of course, this is not just about the exterior, but the interior is equally exciting.
15:49So even though this interior was developed with racing in mind,
15:54we ensured every detail was consistent with our Opel Pure experience.
16:00Information is reduced to a minimum.
16:03And using a head-up display, we allow the driver to keep their eyes on the road.
16:08Uniquely, there are no formal screens.
16:13So here, additional information is displayed under the IP surface using the latest LED technology.
16:22Also, the unique single seat not only has a bold graphic, it's also been developed with light weight in mind.
16:30The seat is split into two, with the lower pad moulded into the chassis and the top half built into the upper roll cage.
16:39This allows for maximum weight savings.
16:42Also, to optimise ergonomics, the foot pedals then move towards the fixed driver position, making this a true driver's car.
16:54So clearly, the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo is the ultimate expression of the GSE.
17:02But it also strongly hints at the exciting future of design for Opel.
