00:00But, Adam, let's start with Sunday Night Football, which was absolutely crazy last night.
00:04Any descriptive word you want to use for it, I think, will certainly be, you know, appropriate for.
00:10But what were your initial takeaways?
00:12Because for me, you know, one of the main things that I like to see would be, you know,
00:16Keanu Coleman really stepping up to be that guy for Josh Allen.
00:19Their wide receiver room, Shakir dealing with the ankle.
00:21They bring in Josh Palmer, et cetera, et cetera.
00:23Say Flowers had a massive game.
00:24But what were your initial thoughts?
00:26Because this was a massive game in the AFC, at least when it comes to seeding,
00:29once we get to December.
00:31Honestly, Tom, I thought that the Ravens were getting their revenge after what happened last year.
00:37It's an awful collapse.
00:39Now, it's not like it's a playoff game.
00:42Certainly being an evening game, a Sunday night game had a playoff atmosphere.
00:46But to lose the game the way they did for the first team in NFL history that I'm aware of
00:51that was up by 15 points or more and scored over 40 points, you can't lose that game.
00:56It happened.
00:57I know fans, just looking at social media, they're up in arms with their defense.
01:02Well, it's not like, Tom, the Bills' defense played well.
01:04It didn't.
01:05They were terrible against the run.
01:07The thing that really surprised me, Tom, is in a game like this, you're talking about 81 points,
01:11the only turnover in the game, and it was crucial, was Derrick Henry's fumble.
01:15That obviously hurt them.
01:17That set them back.
01:17I appreciate Derrick Henry being accountable for it.
01:20Guy's not a fumbler.
01:21He's a phenomenal football player.
01:22They're probably going to be a Hall of Famer someday, but, yeah, this was one of those
01:26games where you look at it and say, you know what, it's just great to watch.
01:32It's great for football.
01:33Now, you also would have loved this game to be like Week 17, meaning something, but it
01:37is what it is.
01:38Now, obviously, it could mean home field.
01:41Certainly, it's an AFC game, so it could play into something for the playoffs, but I try
01:46not, Tom, to react overly to things that happened in Week 1, but one thing I felt for a long
01:53time, and it's not like the Ravens had to throw the ball a lot.
01:57They didn't, because they had such a big lead.
01:58Mark Jackson only had 19 attempts, but he did very well.
02:01As a matter of fact, Zay Flowers crushed them, and one of the problems that the Bills have
02:06is they don't have a very good pass rush, and that is a concern of mine.
02:10It has been for a couple of years.
02:12They've overachieved in secondary with their zone defense.
02:14It kind of covers up a lot.
02:16You saw some of those issues last night.
02:18Now, when you're the Bills and you face more of the heavier volume passing games or teams,
02:25that's when it will concern me, because I just don't think they're strong enough up
02:29front with a pass rush.
