00:04there. Brees Hall of the New York Jets is getting traded to the Chargers in two weeks. I know that's

00:10happening. I can just send it in. That's that's a done deal. Yeah. Alvin Kamara. I'm not sure if

00:15they'll do Kamara. I don't know. He keeps like being loyal and re-signing with them. I think

00:19they'd have to talk to him about that. But tell me why Brees Hall is not a Charger in two weeks.

00:23I mean, this makes too much sense. Right. There are other teams like the Cardinals. There are

00:27other teams that need running backs. But we know the Chargers are almost certain to be a

00:31playoff team. They're down two running backs. But Vidal did a great job. The second year

00:37running back did a great job in this past game. But yeah, they need a bell cow. Now, the word

00:42I got in the summer was the Jets were not going to extend Brees Hall's contract. They want

00:47to take a look at him. And look, it hasn't been great. It's not his fault. They're behind

00:51in every game. They can't run it. They can't throw it. They're pathetic on offense. Negative

00:5610 net passing yards for Justin Fields. That's all been possible. It's embarrassing. And

01:03I find it funny. I have a lot of respect for Aaron Glenn. Like he got all upset, Greg, yesterday

01:09when I think it was Brian Costello, the reporter's terrific, asked the question, is Justin Fields

01:14still your quarterback? Of course you have to ask that. They're 0-6. It's a fair question.

01:18Aaron Glenn's got to get a clue. He knows he's a player once. Yeah. I mean, this can't happen.

01:24And by the way, there's guaranteed money in Justin Fields' contract next year. It's not

01:28good. He looks awful. Tyrod Teller's not the answer. They don't really do anything well

01:31in offense. It's going to be a long season for them. But Brees Hall, they've had no interest

01:37to this point in extending his contract. So yes, the Chargers make a ton of sense. Again,

01:40they're down two backs. Chris Olave, by the way, he's been subject of trade rumors going

01:45back to last year's trade deadline. Brandon Cooks is another guy who I remember talking to

01:50Brandon on NFL Radio last year. He's a guy who wanted to come back to New Orleans. I give

01:55him credit. But they're just such a bad team. He deserves it. He deserves to go to a good

01:59team that needs a receiver. Jacoby Myers, he didn't really fit in with this new scheme.

02:05He's a slot receiver, by the way. He's a tall wide receiver. Mark Andrews, look, they're

02:10going to eventually extend Isaiah Likely. He's terrific. He's his backup. Andrews on the

02:13last year of his deal. Chica Conquo, he started off well in his career, but he's on the

02:18final year of his deal. This is another situation, Craig. You see this in baseball.

02:21When new front offices come in, in fact, this is another front office. He was drafted by

02:26John Robinson, who's two GMs ago. So it's not looking for Chig to get his contract extended.

02:34But the big one to me is on defense. Bradley Chubb, the word around the league is there's

02:38a realistic chance he gets traded. He got his contract restructured earlier this year.

02:42And he's a guy who's a terrific teammate, good football player, just a couple of major injuries.

02:48With them not going anywhere, it would make a ton of sense to trade him to a team that

02:52needs an edge rush. There's no question about it. The Dolphins will get good value here. I

02:56expect multiple teams to be in it for him. Now, I know that Kyle Duggar of the Patriots

03:01has been subject to trade rumors for a while. But Craig, here's the crazy thing. The Patriots

03:07extended his contract, okay, three years. And two years are fully guaranteed, a lot of fully

03:11guaranteed money. April of 2024, they've tried to get out of his contract. They saw it was a

03:16mistake. They're trying to trade him. Nobody wants this contract. To me, they're going to

03:20be stuck with him, no matter how many rumors come out. And look, he's an insurance policy,

03:24an expensive one. But we talked about the Patriots, Craig. Who saw this at 4-2? I didn't.

03:29Yeah, fantastic.

03:31I should have bought in. Craig, you and I talked about this.

03:34Yeah, I didn't buy it either.

03:37This is going to be this year's charges. Ironically, the over-under total this year for the

03:41charges was 8.5. I didn't buy it. Braver was a great coach. I can't believe it. And after a week

03:46long where they got handled it home to the Raiders, who saw this? Man, I got this one

03:49wrong. I didn't see this.
