Wait till you see his happy "zoomies".  Clare shared with us how her heart broke when she saw this baby zonkey all alone, at an auction event in Texas, she knew she had to rescue him!

00:00He was only a couple weeks old and was taken away from his mother so he could be sold to

00:05canned hunt wrenches. They breed exotics for people to come and shoot and then take them

00:11home as a trophy. He looked so scared and so alone. The photograph of him sitting alone in a pen with

00:21an auction sticker on his butt, he touched my heart. In the end, by a miracle, we ended up

00:27rescuing him.

00:39You've got nothing to worry about now. Nothing at all, baby, and I'm so sorry. So sorry for

00:46what people put you through. When he arrived at our ranch, he was put in with Mabel, the donkey we

00:53had rescued recently, and a little mini pony, Snowball, who had one eye, also a rescue. He

01:03immediately bonded with them and they took him on as their baby.

01:08In the first couple of weeks, he did try and nurse for Mabel, but she didn't have any milk.

01:19Hi, buddy. Hi, Mabel. Is that your baby?

01:23Every four hours, we would have to get up to bottle feed him because he was so little.

01:28Good boy, buddy. Then, one day, we let Zebedee out on the hill, and for the first time, he

01:40got the zoomies, and he started running around.

01:43He was just running circles around Mabel and Snowball and having a grand old time. He will grow

01:55up knowing nothing but love and care. Oh, my goodness. Oh, my goodness.
