00:00This baby donkey was only two weeks old when she collapsed in the middle of the street.
00:04She was made to lug a very heavy donkey cart.
00:07Khomar just literally lifted up this baby donkey with the strength that only comes from a lot of love and
00:13a lot of care.
00:14And she brought her into our clinic.
00:16She had a really big wound.
00:18Baby was just lifeless.
00:21After getting her checked out by the vets, they reunited Baby with her mom that same night.
00:27Baby didn't get up for about two days.
00:30But the thing that really got me was that her mommy never left her side.
00:36When Baby did finally stand up, we were all just so relieved.
00:43Mommy is teaching her how to walk around.
00:47And at one point, we just saw Baby kick.
00:51Baby sort of started doing the zoomies a little bit.
00:53And suddenly, Baby's running around.
00:56And all of us are just in absolute awe at this incredible little girl.
01:01Every time she saw us, she would give us hugs.
01:04She was just the sweetest.
01:06Baby just became the star of the show.
01:09In Pakistan, most donkeys like Baby and Mommy are used as labor by pulling carts all day.
01:14But today, Baby and her mom have the freedom to choose how they want to spend their day.
01:18They, along with many other animals, get to live the rest of their lives with lots of love, care, and
01:23compassion at ACF Animal Sanctuary.
01:25Baby just grew up to be this really fun, naughty, silly little girl.
01:31Baby has her own gang of friends.
01:33She's gone from a donkey who could not stand to one who can't stop playing.
01:40Now, they both get to spend their lives together, safe and loved.
