00:20as well as zebras and zonkeys rescued from trophy hunting and many, many more equines.
00:26We do not agree with the breeding of zonkeys.
00:29So, naturally, Claire was certain there would be at least one friend here for Zee.
00:35I've never seen that before in my life.
00:37But Zee disagreed.
00:42He kept to himself.
00:45He didn't get along with the horses.
00:49Alright, Zee meets Boomer.
00:51Maybe they'll bond over their love of cookies.
00:54Well, pretty much all they've done is fight over the fence.
00:58Even the zebra that they hope he'd bond with.
01:01He's being really dominant of Ziggy, and nobody is.
01:04I would say a little bit of an aggressive boy.

01:21So, they moved him to their bigger sanctuary in Oregon in hopes that he'll find his bestie there.
01:29And that's where he met Henry.

01:35Henry's a mustang who had also been through a lot.
01:39He keeps trying to mount Bella and Sunflower.
01:42He didn't really fit in either.

01:49Well, I won't call your name because I don't call horses' names.
01:53He had been rescued from slaughter and struggled to trust the other horses around him.

02:18So they tried putting the two of them together.
02:23Here's Zee and Henry this morning.
02:25They're just following the hay cart.
02:27But look, they're still together.
02:29Still very happy.
02:31They just clicked.
02:34Look at this.
02:35Look at that stripey bottom.
02:37They started playing, sharing space.
02:44And Henry even let Zee share his food.
02:47Which is a really big deal for both of them.
02:53They can only stand each other, I guess.
03:00So for the first time, Zee and Henry had a friend.
03:07And once they had each other, they could be around the rest of the herd, and it wasn't a problem
03:12anymore.
03:19And Zee even became a leader of his own little donkey herd.
03:23So, fascinatingly, Zee Zee and Zha Zha have become kings of the three donkey herd out here.
03:31He was a born leader, a dominant boy.
03:34And then another little misfit showed up, a baby zonkey named Zeebity Duda.
03:41These names are amazing, by the way.
03:43And almost immediately, he imprinted on Zee.
03:48And Zee was super chill with it.
03:50And now the two of them with Henry are like the three musketeers of Sky Dog.
03:57I think that's why I love this story so much.
