00:06He confirmed in a telephone interview with TV6 News that he and two others have been appointed.
00:11Mr. Indar Singh said he saw this appointment as a continuation of the journey of his life.
00:18Simply as a continuation of my journey in life is another chapter, another phase.
00:26I have been involved in advocacy as it relates to the labor movement, industrial relations, practices in the country, and serving the people of Trinidad and Tobago.
00:42And that has been exemplified by the 19 years at the Old Trinidad Sugar and General Workers Trade Union and 15 years as a member of parliament.
00:56He expressed possible criticisms of the fact that he had just exited the political arena.
01:02Life, as I said, you have to do your duty and fulfill your sense of duty whenever you are asked to serve.
01:11And this service is in the context of building a better industrial relations environment, labor relations, under the labor laws of Trinidad and Tobago, and the industrial court.
