00:42In Palestine, this Wednesday marks the 698 days since the Israeli occupation forces started the genocide against the Gaza Strip.
00:52The government of Venezuela accused the head of the U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, of using artificial intelligence in a video presented as evidence of alleged narco-trafficking activities from Venezuela.
01:15The Venezuelan Minister of Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez, used his Telegram channel to make the denounce, explaining that Marco Rubio offers U.S. President Donald Trump a video generated by artificial intelligence, a supposed evidence of the attack by the U.S. military on what would be achieved with drugs coming from Venezuela.
01:37To back up his claim, he attached a technical analysis of the video in question, in which the artificial intelligence platform Gemini conjectured that it is very likely that the video was generated by an artificial intelligence system.
01:51On its end, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro continues to denounce the false narrative behind the imperialist aggressions against the Venezuelan people.
02:01The President denounced the false narrative of U.S. authorities that accused the Venezuelan government of being implicated in drug trafficking operations, using it as an excuse to dispatch of eight U.S. military ships equipped with 1,200 missiles and a nuclear submarine, heading for the Venezuelan coast.
02:19The Venezuelan President declared that Washington is seeking to take over the wealth and natural resources of Venezuela, in addition to attempting to end the revolutionary project.
02:29In turn, the President warned his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump about the intention of Secretary of State Marco Rubio to stain with blood the U.S. administration.
02:40When imperialism attacks us, it attacks us for two reasons.
02:50One is obvious they send eight warships.
02:54They aim 1,200 missiles at our heads.
03:01They send a nuclear submarine.
03:06When did they send it?
03:08To somewhere on the planet?
03:11And they send it because they invent a story, a tale, that no one believes.
03:17The youth of the United States does not believe the lies of the man in charge of the White House, Marco Rubio, because the one in charge of the White House is Marco Rubio.
03:29I call the Miami Mafia, who wants to cover President Donald Trump's hands in blood.
03:34I say to the Trump family, they want to stain the Trump name with blood, with blood.
03:39And what I am saying, I have full knowledge of, and look, we have quite a lot of knowledge from international intelligence.
03:48In this sense, President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro denounced that the aggression of E.S. imperialism and seek to seize the wealth and natural resources of the Venezuelan people.
04:00But they are really coming, do you know why they are coming?
04:04For Venezuelan oil, they want it for free for the gas.
04:09We have the main oil reserve in Venezuela. And that oil does not belong to Maduro, and even less to the Americans. It belongs to you, that oil belongs to you.
04:20To these boys and girls. That first oil reserve in the world belongs to the people of Venezuela.
04:27We have the fourth largest gas reserves in the world. And that gas belongs to Venezuela.
04:33We have one of the first gold reserves and for you to count the natural riches come from the fertile land.
04:39We still have what they call an agricultural frontier which are lands to be cultivated.
04:4430 million hectares that are going to turn us into an agricultural power.
04:50We are already on our way to that, we are already producing 100% of the food in Venezuela.
04:56Now we are going to produce to become great exporters of food.
05:01The Mexican government rejected Tuesday the U.S. military intervention to combat drug trafficking.
05:07During her daily press conference, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum confirmed in an intervention to fight organized crime was unnecessary,
05:15and that such a fight required binational agreements on research and cooperation without damaging sovereignty.
05:21The President reiterated that her government will never allow any military intervention by the U.S. government,
05:27and said each country must take responsibility to fight crime within its own territory.
05:33In Nicaragua, Co-President Daniel Ortega condemned the threats and aggressions imposed by the United States against Venezuela,
05:39and its constitutional President Nicolás Maduro.
05:42The Nicaraguan government celebrated with a ceremony the 46th anniversary of the foundation of the Nicaraguan army.
05:48During the event, Co-President Ortega sentenced that the military deployment of the United States in Latin America and the Caribbean
05:55represents a threat to the peace and stability of the region.
05:58Likewise, the commander reiterated the solidarity of the Nicaraguan state towards Venezuela,
06:03in the midst of recent imperialist threats, while he emphasized the people's unity in rejecting threats to the region's sovereignty.

07:08and to demand a more just future for migrants.

12:15If there are no results, the second phase will be carried out in October.
12:21The officials explained that the decision-making body had their appropriate quorum and they followed the established procedures.
12:27Last August 28, the government approved a gradual salary increase for the press, which was to begin in October with 27%, and escalated in January 2026 to 58%.
12:40However, the professionals of the sector refused to accept this measure and decided to continue with the protest.
12:46According to data published by the World Health Organization, over one billion people suffer from mental health disorders, such as anxiety and depression, which generates enormous human and economic costs.
12:59Such disorders are common in all countries and population groups, affecting people of all ages and income levels, according to the findings of reports released by the Health Agency.
13:10Moreover, they are the second leading cause of prolonged disability and increase of number of years of healthy life lost.
13:17On the other hand, the economic impact on mental health disorders is enormous.
13:21The student points out, depression and anxiety alone cost the world economy around one trillion dollars a year.
13:40Students from the Faculty of Communication at the University of Havana developed the Escaramujo project.
13:53The initiative was conceived to give voice to the experiences of school children.
13:57In the Q&A, we'll tell you more about this community project. Let's see.
14:01What happens when journalism meets popular education?
14:06The Escaramujo project was born from this question, when a journalism student from Havana met the teenagers of the Integral Education Schools, or EFIs, many of them with difficult educational backgrounds.
14:19It was then that Rodolfo thought to bring both realities together, to design communication workshops so that these young people could give voice to their experiences and in that improve their educational journey.
14:32They proposed to make a documentary about their life stories, so it was very interesting the way in which they recounted why they came to these schools, what families they came from, the characteristics of their neighborhoods, and at the same time they reflected on this, and the experience was very enriching for them and for us.
14:51Since then, Escaramujo has grown and expanded throughout the island. In the last 15 years, its workshops have produced audiovisuals, documentaries, television series, and magazines. These spaces are run by university students who work together to create a journalism that is a tool for social transformation.
15:10I'm doing what I can and what I have to do. From the place where I have the most to give. Che, say that revolutionaries have to be where the revolution needs them. And I consider that where I can give my best. Where I can give my best effort until my last breath. That is where I am right now. And that is what I am doing. And I spare not effort.
15:29I believe we have been so lucky, that the people who come to the Escaramujo project come with a sensitivity, with a professional preparation, so eager to do. And with a commitment to Cuba, which is very good. In these times of crisis, of economic crisis, but also of crisis in values, in which some young people are shaping their future outside of Cuba. That there is a group of young people committed to help, to contribute to the improvement of the country. I think that is very valuable.
15:56In each workshop, Escaramujo bets on bringing together young people through communication, providing them with tools to express themselves, discuss common problems, and find a way to think of solutions together. This was the case of their last big project, the elaboration of a complete edition of the Cuban youth magazine, Pionero.
16:17I feel proud of myself, proud of all the goals I have been able to achieve.
16:24I was so pleased to see that my story was in Pionero magazine. One of the most famous magazines in the entire country. That's so nice.
16:36Just like Silvia Rodriguez states in the song that gives the project its name, these youngsters are convinced that knowledge cannot be a luxury, and that this demands everyone's commitment.
16:48And so, in the creation of a magazine, a podcast, or a documentary, different generations come together for a journalism that includes the voices of the future.
16:57Of course, the projects help teenagers express how they feel, find their own place, find themselves, they help them understand that they have a place in this world, that they should be heard, and it's so important that this reaches other parts of the world.
17:15To commit oneself, that is the word, to commit to this situation. They are the future, they are the present, and I think that empowering them and giving them all the possible tools is the best thing we can do.
17:28Belen de los Santos, Denise Araví, Fuerte de los Sur, Havana, Cuba.
17:45Argentine dancers Diego Ortega and Aldana Silveira won the Tango Dance Floor category of the Tango World Championship Finals, while Leandro Boico and Micaela Garcia won the stage category.
18:03Dancers from over 50 countries competed for the title, while both amateur and professional couples showed their skills into the two main categories of Dance Floor Tango and Stage Tango.
18:14From August 20th to September 2nd, Buenos Aires was the scene of concerts, exhibitions, dance classes and milongas.
18:21In addition to an international competition that since 2003 has brought together the best dancers in the world and in its 2025 edition reaches record numbers of participants, with over 1,200 couples.
