02:59Kitty and Emma, damage control. Civilians out of harm's way are calm enough to be getting there. Logan and I'll flank it. Work with Hank on keeping its movement contained.
03:07I positively throb when he gets that tone.
03:11You're not saying that would be nifty.
03:13Emma, patch me into Pete.
03:14It's strange to hear Scott in my head. He's different. Not just from the professor. He's more...
03:29Free? Why does that word unsettle me?
03:35I am riding a monster's nostrils. I really should concentrate.
03:40I scared him. I scared him. It came on too strong. What a dope. It means something that I found you. But doesn't it? The X-Man didn't find him. I did. I could never explain what that felt like. I just know the feeling hasn't gone away. I should probably concentrate here.
03:58I really like beer.
04:08I want to leave in a swift order.
04:14I want to leave in a swift order.
04:16I want to order these fashion.
04:18I want to order these fashion.
04:21Hank, we've got him turned. Keep hitting his back.
04:24He goes down the hole. You might want to get Peter off his face.
04:27Oh, uh, hey there.
04:33Say, I told you they was in our soup.
04:37Sorry to break into your frequency, Mr. Summers, but I'd be grateful for a thin rep.
04:41Big monster came out of the ground. Thought we'd send it back.
04:45We do big monsters. Big monsters in Manhattan. That's our signature piece.
04:51Ben.
04:53Well, perhaps we can lay the hand.
04:57I know what you're thinking. You can't fly, Eddie.
05:06My name is...
05:07Wing? That's not who your parents are asking for.
05:11My parents?
05:13You're a normal human now.
05:15No reason to be at a school for the gifted, if you don't have a gift.
05:20Your dad looks so relieved.
05:24I can't go back, Hisako.
05:26Great. Take one step forward and you get to fly.
05:29For three whole seconds before you die.
05:32Who cares?
05:33I can't fly. I might as well just snuff it.
05:36You don't know what this feels like.
05:37If you lost your armor, what would you do?
05:40Well, if I had any real guts at all,
05:43I'd jump off a cliff.
05:45He's not staying down.
06:11Oh, he just needs a little encouragement.
06:15Hey, Tin Man.
06:18Wanna play whack-a-mole?
06:20Probably one of the Mole Man's creations.
06:28They pop up from time to time, head straight for the Baxter building.
06:32Still not sure what brought you people out here.
06:34This is a little off your beat, isn't it?
06:36Hmph.
06:37I ought to be grateful.
06:39Grateful?
06:40Monstro was practically capped before you bothered to show.
06:43Didn't they come up with a cure for your kind?
06:46You got a problem with mutants?
06:48I meant Canadians.
06:50Just trying to get out there more.
06:52Do the work we should be doing.
06:53Your team saved the world more times than they know.
06:56But not with the Fantastic Four at your side
06:58and dozens of news cameras running.
07:00Well, that wasn't exactly a drawback, no.
07:03That came out wrong.
07:05Of course we'd be nothing but pleased
07:06if this helps the mutant community.
07:08But what if it backfires?
07:10What if the press brands us a menace?
07:12Then you'll get a much more interesting bunch of groupies, kid.
07:18Reed, can we be evil now?
07:22Maybe after dinner.
07:30I know I scared him.
07:31Agent Brand, have anything else to say to this board?
07:39I surely do.
07:41You think I crossed a line.
07:43In my collusion with Ord's plans,
07:46my inaction when he spun out of control,
07:48I crossed a line.
07:49There is no line.
07:54For the safety of this planet,
07:56there is no one I will not sacrifice.
07:59No monster I will not call friend.
08:02No enemy I will not sleep with.
08:05There is a bullet pointed at this planet's head.
08:09You all know exactly what I'm talking about.
08:11The Breakworld believes we as a species need to be put down,
08:15and there are others not far from accordance on that score.
08:19They are waiting to see what we will do.
08:23Not just if we survive this,
08:25but exactly how.
08:28Here on Earth, we can stumble about like Laurel and Hardy.
08:30Doesn't make a dent.
08:32But out there, in the universe whole?
08:35Bullet? Head?
08:36So if I'm to be... demoted?
08:39Well, I've left instructions on what to do with the body.
08:42But if I am still the head of sword,
08:45then don't look for me to change.
08:47An X-Man is destined to destroy the Breakworld.
08:51And destiny isn't thwarted by diplomats.
08:57Bugger.
08:58In other superhero-related news,
09:00J. Jonah Jameson...
09:01Thirty seconds.
09:02Thirty seconds of coverage after three minutes
09:05about that useless tart dancing topless at a party,
09:08as if that's remotely remarkable.
09:10Who is the Hilton girl?
09:11It doesn't matter.
09:13On a lot of levels.
09:14I got a C-note says her epic battle
09:16doesn't even make the Nationals.
09:18I don't see how they can ignore something like that.
09:20You're missing the point, Kitty.
09:22The news isn't there to tell you what happened.
09:24It's there to tell you what it wants you to hear.
09:26Or what it thinks you want to hear.
09:28They already have their stories worked out.
09:30They just wait for events to fill in the blanks.
09:32When they don't fit,
09:34they get sidelined or twisted till they do.
09:36The mutant menace is the story.
09:39Always has been.
09:40Check out the lone gunman.
09:43Didn't think you saw it that clear, Summers.
09:45I've been at this a while.
09:47He's right.
09:48J. Jonah Jameson will be tongue-kissing Spider-Man
09:50before the X-Men catch a little public favor.
09:53Why do you insist on saying things I can never unhear?
09:57We need help!
09:58Knocking is still unacceptable.
10:00I think something's happened to Wing.
10:02The boy who lost his powers?
10:04Is he hurt?
10:04He's missing!
10:05I've looked all over campus.
10:08He hasn't much longer to go.
10:11Girls, what are you sensing that I'm not?
10:13You just aren't listening in, Miss Frost.
10:15Anyway, we didn't sense it first.
10:18She did.
10:19He cannot leave.
10:23Yes, thank you.
10:24I like him well.
10:27I ache.
10:28And worse.
10:30If he goes away,
10:33then no, thank you.
10:36Then the new one will come.
10:37Danger Room Simulation.
11:00Environment, campus, exterior.
11:03Exercise complete.
11:07casa de la noche.
