England still allows ‘reasonable’ physical punishment, but Wales and Scotland have already banned smacking outright. We asked people in Birmingham whether it’s time to change the law - and how they think parents should discipline children instead.

00:46to stop but then secondly as parents, I have a two-year-old, I can appreciate it. It's difficult

00:51sometimes because you should never have the state interfering in your rights to parents

00:56within reason and me.
