Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

00:00In Philippians chapter 3 verse 20
00:02In the light of eternity, whatever we go through here is brief and temporary and momentary
00:10and when we get to heaven we'll be forgotten
00:13and this body will be transformed like unto his glorious body.
00:19In chapter 3 verse 20 of Philippians, it says our citizenship is in heaven
00:23from which we also eagerly await for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ
00:27who will transform our lowly body that it might be conformed to his glorious body
00:31according to the working by which he is able even to subdue all things to himself.
00:38Again, ultimately our citizenship, if we are believers in Jesus, is in heaven
00:43and that Jesus the Messiah is going to come and take us, he's going to transform our lowly body
00:49so it will be like to his glorious body.
00:52So we have that glorious body which we can look forward to.
00:57And this body will be transformed.
01:00And then we'll be with the Lord forever.
01:02In Revelation 21 it speaks about how we will be with him
01:05and we will experience the presence of the Lord
01:08in a way which we can never experience in this life.
01:14Revelation 3, it's 21 verse 3, it says,
01:16I heard a loud voice from heaven saying,
01:19Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, he will dwell with them, they should be his people,
01:23God himself will be with them and be their God.
01:26And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, there will be no more death,
01:29nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain,
01:32there will be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.
01:37Then he who sat on the throne said,
01:39Behold, I make all things new.
01:41And he said to me, write, for these words are faithful and true.
01:45The time coming when everything which you've been through in this life will be forgotten.
01:49And you'll have a new life with God, with Jesus the Messiah.
01:54Do you believe that?
01:55Or is it just a story that people or preachers tell you?
02:00If you believe the Bible, you have to believe it's true.
02:05And you have to believe that that's what awaits you.
