Today we ask locals: Are you worried about rising bills this winter, and what should Rachel Reeves do in the autumn statement to ease the pressure?
Transcript
00:00I'm a pensioner, of course I'm worried, but I didn't get any winter allowance last year,
00:10and now I've suddenly got a tax bill for some reason I'm not too sure about.
00:15So, of course I'm worried about raising bills.
00:19Definitely, I think everyone is, but you know, you've just got to do what you can to make ends meet, really.
00:24Not personally, because I can probably manage to pay them, but I'm sure it's quite difficult for a lot of people.
00:35And so we're expecting bills to go up anyway.
00:39Definitely, I think that, I guess Labour was brought in to try and help ease these things.
00:46I think that was the thing they really promised that they would do.
00:49So it's always disappointing when people come into power and that doesn't necessarily happen.
00:54So, of course, you know, ideally, yeah, she would do all she could to ease things.
