Transcript
00:00Si Ferry, we're outside Grosso, which is very soon to be Glasgow's new Italian restaurant.
00:05I want to find out about your best at Glasgow.
00:08So, what's some of your favourite places to go for a pint in Glasgow?
00:12Favourite places to go for a pint would be definitely Ginty's in Ashton Lane.
00:17I like Max's in the town.
00:20Bad, obviously I'm in Bad quite a lot.
00:22I've just moved to the Barras area.
00:24Bad's right across the road to me.
00:25St Luke's, Michael's place is really good.
00:27So, just all this sort of mix at East End and a wee bit at the West End as well.
00:30What about if you are meeting us for a coffee?
00:32Where would we go?
00:33If we are meeting for a coffee, I am meeting you in Naked Soot on the West End.
00:37Or I do like Cotton Rake.
00:38The new Cotton Rake is very nice on Great Western Road.
00:42East End, you've got the Rumbling Tum.
00:45I mean, it's a proper coffee.
00:46It's an instant coffee, but again, another great atmosphere.
00:50And then also Outlier as well, Stephen's Place, which I'm in there quite a bit.
00:54Really like Outlier stuff.
00:55Do lovely coffee.
00:56And then also Zen are down the road doing amazing coffee.
00:59We've actually got an amazing coffee, Fowler Coffee it's called.
01:02So, if you're looking for coffee, Grosso's no just owner.
01:04I'm plugging myself and I should be plugging other people, but I'm going to do it.
01:07It's not just pizzas, pastas.
01:09If you're looking for coffees, cakes, we did a lot.
01:11What's your favourite area in Glasgow?
01:13Deniston by a country mile.
01:14Said it.
01:15First place that kind of hit me when I moved through to Dundee.
01:18Introduced to Deniston through where I worked, obviously, at Celtic Park and just fell in love.
01:21So, I had a real mix of people that I recognised for Dundee, real characters.
01:27And like I said, it was kind of ingrained into this area, what it meant to people.
01:30So, I've always loved Deniston.
01:32And then guys like Robert Snodgrass, who you meet through football, he's the type of Deniston
01:35guy that Alex Ray, they talk to guys, you know, just proper characters.
01:39And I think that's what you get through at Deniston.
