00:13It's the day to celebrate the bond between humans and dogs, and to create awareness that
00:17there are many dogs who are in need of loving homes.
00:20It applies locally as well.
00:22Rusty is one of the fortunate ones, having been rescued by Vashti Bola.
00:26She tells us Rusty is now one of her three fur babies, and has become an inseparable
00:32part of her family.
00:34Bella is Trisha Balcaran's world, her support dog.
00:37Balcaran says she's clingy, lovable and silly, and loves visiting her family.

01:37Well, Azora is one of them, Cindy Jagannath says lightheartedly.
01:41Azora's barking gives it away, she tells us.
01:44Her six-year-old furry bundle likes going for walks and beats her to the door when it's
01:48time to head out.

01:55Bassan distinguishes him as one of the smartest and calmest dogs you'll ever meet, with a whole
02:00lot of personality.
02:03Then there's Luna, who is described as TV6 newsroom administrator Ria Madhu's second
02:07daughter and a sister to her daughter Skylar.
02:11Madhu describes Luna as a companion, saying, she's always there when you need reassurance
02:16of the existence of unconditional love.
02:19Well, as we close, how could I leave out my very own three-year-old German shepherd Chia?
02:25In short, her personality is vibrant.
02:27She is family.
02:29And if you're wondering what's the reason behind this highlight, well, yes, it's all
