We ask Glaswegians for their favourite city pub?
Transcript
00:00I quite like the Brazen Head, do a great pint of Guinness.
00:02I've got quite a lot of favourite pubs, but I'd say you can have two.
00:05It's a great pint because how often Guinness gets served in it.
00:09So my local one, my local favourite pub is The Macar, which is on Great Whistler Road.
00:16I've heard people calling it my chair, but it's not, it's Macar, right?
00:21And it's really nice, they've got good music on, good traditional sessions on during the week,
00:26bands at the weekend sometimes, food's good.
00:29The best Guinness in Glasgow tends to be in Irish pubs.
00:31Catties are in the corner, a great pint of Guinness.
00:33My pub when in town, in the city centre, is Babity Bowsters, which we just passed there earlier.
00:41And that's run by the Mullin family again, a family, a family pub.
00:46I like it, it's not corporate or whatever, it's laid back.
00:49They've got, if some of my friends are coming to stay for the weekend, we can stay,
00:53they've got four rooms upstairs, they've got a function suite upstairs.
00:56They do a very nice colouring skink, which is one of my favourites.
