With more pubs closing, we ask Londoners what they love about pubs in the capital.

00:00i stayed kind of local and in that sense there's like they're mostly independent but i have noticed

00:05like um places like simmons or like um green king is that green king they have so many but they're

00:13like you know they're kind of have their unique vibe as well it's kind of like the stations not

00:16not the elizabeth line with the exception of the elizabeth line all stations kind of look

00:20slightly different so i mean i i don't know because i used to work for milroy's of soho so um

00:27i don't know whiskey is kind of my thing so i'll go where like they have a nice selection

00:31i think the most noticeable change would be on a friday afternoon in the city um

00:37some streets are just empty um the city used to be a really fun place on a friday afternoon

00:44particularly the sun was out uh the pubs would be full restaurants would be full and there's a real

00:49real buzz about it um i i've sat uh in the city uh had a meeting for an hour over a coffee
